Ruby-
I still can't believe what has happened. Penny and Pyrrha died, Yang lost her arm, Blake ran away, Weiss was taken to her home by her father, and now I'm going to Haven with Damion and team JNPR, or those who are left. We just left a town and Juane had Pyrrha's tierra and weapon placed in his weapon. Now we're going straight to Haven, hopefully the headmaster there will help us.
"Hey Ruby, you ok?" Damion asked me.
"What? Oh, yeah," I replied. "Sorry, just lost in thought."
"Don't get too lost, we're already lost as it is," he said looking at Ren and Nora arguing about the map.
"Yeah, I guess so," I laughed. Too bad Blake isn't here, she could probably help us.
"You're thinking about Blake huh?"
"What? Oh, yeah."
"Your face got sad all of a sudden," he explained.
"Can't hide that can I?"
"No, give me a moment. Noble," he said before whistling. Noble came running from the forest and looked at him. "What direction's Haven?" Noble sniffed and then pointed in the direction we were heading in. "That's what I thought, thanks bud," he said, patting his head.
"That's good, hey look, there's a village up a head," Juane said.
"I'm not too sure, I can't hear anyone in it," Damion said with a sad face. "Wait, there is a single weak heartbeat," he said, getting faster.
"Let's go," I decided. We quickly ran in and found a man lying down dying.
"Go, don't fight him," he weakly said before dying.
"Aw, that's sad. Too bad, so I'm guessing you're the one who did that to Cinder," a voice said from behind us. We turned around and saw a lanky man with a scorpion tail, pointing at me.
"You're an ally of Cinder?" I asked.
"Oh, yes. Our Mistress was annoyed with you for almost killing Cinder, so she sent me to kill you," he said with a smile.
"We're not gonna let that happen," Juane said, taking out his weapon.
"I'll fight him," a voice from behind us said. I turned around and saw Uncle Qrow holding Harbinger.
"I'll help you," I said, taking Crescent Rose out.
"Me too," Damion said, taking out Reaper.
"No, stay back."
"Oh, but three scythe users against myself would be fun," the man said.
"Then I won't use a scythe, haven't used this form in a while," Damion said, turning his weapon into a sword.
"Your weapon is a lot like mine kid, who taught you to build them?" Qrow asked Damion.
"My uncle, I'm guessing you're the Beacon student who broke his weapon and needed help to fix it."
"Oh, the old man did. That makes sense. I guess there's no stopping you."
"Nope," Damion said. "Ruby, stay back."
"No, I can help," I demanded.
"No!" They yelled together.
"Oh, well. I guess I just take her after killing you two," the man said. "The name's Tyrian."
"Qrow."
"Damion."
Then they clashed.
Damion-
This dude is insane. In both mind and power. At first I thought that I could take him with a full huntsman, but now I'm not sure. Luckily he seems to have bad luck. He just landed on a plank and it broke in half.
"Man, that dude has bad luck," I said.
"No, I have bad luck. It's my semblance, however I can't control it. It can affect me and my allies," Qrow said with a grimace.
"That's why you didn't want us to fight."
"Yep."
"Die!" I turned as he emerged from the rubble.
"I got this!" I yelled as I ran at him.
"No, stop!" Qrow yelled behind me.
"Oops," Tyrian said as he slashed me.
"Crap," I said. It's not too deep, but I need to be more careful.
"Qrow, behind you!" Ruby yelled. I looked as he got cut by Tyrian's stinger. I then watched as Ruby cut his stinger off.
"Arg!" he then cowered away as the rest took out their weapons. "She, she'll forgive me. Right. Right?" Then he ran away.
"Qrow!" I yelled. I ran right to him and called Noble over. Noble sniffed him and then laid down. "Crap, Noble smells poison. Makes sense."
"What?" Juane asked.
"We need to get to Haven, quickly," Ruby stated.
"Agreed, Noble can you carry him?" I asked. He responded by trying to lift him up. "Let me help," I said, placing Qrow on his back.
"Now, we go at my pace," I said. We then ran as quick as we could, when we rested Qrow woke up.
"I guess I should tell you who they work for. Cinder, Tyrian, and several others work for a person named Salem. She is who Ozpin has been fighting for years. She controls the grim," Qrow started. He then proceeded to tell us about everything he knew.
"Why tell us this?" I asked. "Why tell us about magic and Salem now?"
"Simple, you have become involved. I think that it would be best if you knew instead of being in the dark," he explained.
"So it's safer now that we understand the enemy we won't be caught with the rug pulled from under our feet," Ren stated.
"Yeah, something like that."
"I'm having some issues with what you're saying," I said.
"Only a few?"
"So, if Ozpin has been fighting her for years, then who was fighting before him, and who told the other headmasters before him?"
"I don't know exactly," Qrow said before coughing up some blood.
"Rest Uncle Qrow," Ruby told him. "We'll keep watch."
"Fine, just be careful."
Blake-
I messed up. I let Yang get hurt and now Ruby probably hates me. And now I have to deal with Sun.
"Hey, Blake!" Sun said to me.
"What?" I groaned.
"Damion asked me to deliver you this message."
"What?"
"He said 'tell Blake that Ruby is sad that she left and wants to know when she plans on coming back.' What do you want me to tell him?"
"Tell him I won't be going back," I said.
"Really? Or is it you just don't know yet?"
"No, I'm going home, and I can't return. Especially not to Ruby, she probably hates me deep down, and Yang," I said. I still can't believe that he took her arm. I hope my parents will let me stay, and forgive me.
"Hey, Blake, are you ok?"
"Huh, what?"
"You were spacing out, you good?"
"Oh, yeah. Sorry, I was thinking about a few things."
"Like your girlfriend?"
"What?"
"I might not be the smartest but it doesn't take a scientist to determine that Ruby and you are dating. Especially after you won the first round and she hugged you, while it wasn't mentioned the group I was sitting with saw the little peck she gave you," Sun said, smiling at my face.
"Ok, I guess you're right."
"I'm sure your parents want to meet her," he said.
"Too bad we probably won't be a thing anymore."
"Why?"
"I let Yang get hurt because of my ties to the White Fang. She lost her arm because of me," I said before my voice cracked.
"Hey, I don't know Ruby all that well but she won't keep a grudge like that, but she will get upset if you don't return."
"That would be better, I don't deserve her."
"Don't say that, you made a mistake, just like everyone else. You will get over it and you will feel even worse if you don't admit your mistake and learn to live with it with the girl you love."
"Didn't peg you for the emotional support and advice type of guy," I said giggling.
"Well I wasn't really trying, I just said what felt right."
