Chapter 10: Katsuma Higashikata
Slim Shady then slowly gets up from the ground.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!" Slim Shady yelled.
"And it looks I have chimed in at the right time." Katsuma said while looking at his hand. "(Turns to Ashley) Ah, Ashley? It has been a while."
"How are you doing, Katsuma?" Ashley asks. "We are trying to take revenge on that man you have punched for what he did to our families…"
"Ah, so he, Slim Shady, was somehow responsible for the death of Danny Joestar, eh?"
Joshua then slowly got up.
"H-He was my Uncle." Joshua said.
"(Turns to Joshua) You must be his nephew. Joshua Joestar, correct?" Katsuma asks.
"Y-Yes. Ow! Sorry, I am in pain."
"I see. (Sighs) Here, I'll help you all to take down Slim Shady. Joshua, I want to see how well you manage to take the kill on him."
"You're let-letting me kill him?!"
"I want you to kill him for all the killing he has done to our families. (Turns to Slim Shady) Now then, let's pick up the pace."
Katsuma then brings out his Stand.
"Now then, Slim Shady, feel the power of my Stand, I Write Sins Not Tragedies!" Katsuma said while making a classical pose.
"Great! Now I gotta deal with another one of your sorry asses! Bring it!" Slim Shady shouted.
Slim Shady then brings out his Stand, D12 and fired a rocket to Katsuma.
"Go!" Katsuma said to his Stand.
Katsuma's Stand, I Write Sins Not Tragedies, went in front of Katsuma to punch the rocket with great speed.
"DORARARARARARA!" I Write Sins Not Tragedies shouted.
The rocket then exploded in mid-air. Katsuma and his Stand then stood back from the rocket before it even exploded.
"Teh, you're tough, alright." Katsuma said.
"SHUT UP!" Slim Shady shouted.
"Hey, no need to get angry over a compliment." Katsuma said. "Oh well, guess you'll regret it."
Katsuma then walks over to Slim Shady.
"GET AWAY!" Slim Shady shouted. "D12! FIRE!"
A rocket was then fired from D12. Joshua then got up to use his Stand on the rocket.
"What the hell?" Katsuma said. "You really wanna help out huh?"
"What else is there?" Joshua said. "If you want me to kill Slim Shady, then this is what I gotta do!"
Danger Zone then launches the rocket back to Slim Shady. Then, an explosion occurred. The smoke then cleared away, revealing the same fortress Slim Shady made earlier with his Stand.
"Oh, and that's one of his abilities." Joshua said.
"Well now, this Slim Shady guy really is tough." Katsuma said. "However…"
Katsuma then runs over to the fortress. Slim Shady then turned the fortress back to his Stand. Without noticing Katsuma, I Write Sins Not Tragedies came out and punched Slim Shady in the face.
"Gah!" Slim Shady shouted. "(Looks at Katsuma) H-Hey! Listen! I did what I needed to do! Just leave me the hell alone, would ya?!"
"You're pathetic for some killer." Katsuma said.
Katsuma then ordered I Write Sins Not Tragedies to pick up Slim Shady.
"Hey! Let me go!" Slim Shady shouted while bringing out a pocket knife. "I'll knife you! I mean it!"
"I'm not the one doing the finishing kill." Katsuma said. "(Looks at Joshua) Joshua, let me see what your Stand can do. I may not trust you a little, but I'll have my eye on you from time to time. With that said, here he comes! I Write Sins Not Tragedies!"
I Write Sins Not Tragedies then throws Slim Shady to Joshua.
"AAAH!" Slim Shady shouted.
"This is for hurting our families you bastard!" Joshua said while bringing out Danger Zone. "NOW GET OUT OF OUR SIGHT!"
Danger Zone then started to punch Slim Shady while screaming, "ORA!" Afterwards, one of its bulbs from its left fist started to fly towards Slim Shady's chest. Then, another punch sends Slim Shady flying, which makes the bulb spark a big explosion, killing Slim Shady. Slim Shady was dead.
"(Pants) Finally…" Joshua said. "(Started to slowly cry) Damn it…"
"He did it!" Ashley said.
"Huh… Are you crying, Joshua?" Katsuma asked. "Listen, you killed someone who is infamous for killing someone you loved. I know killing is bad, but it's for the better with, HER, roaming around…"
"(Sniffs) Who's her?" Joshua asked.
"I'll tell you later, now calm down. I'll get the others together out of that house."
When Joshua and his friends left that area, they went back to The Amethyst Gardens.
"(Sighs) Ok, now that THAT'S out of the way, tell us Katsuma. What do you and Joshua have in common about each other?" Ashley asks.
"I will answer that. So, listen up, everyone, including you Joshua." Katsuma replied.
"Ok, I'm listening." Joshua said.
"Now, to make this a bit surprising, me and Joshua are both in the same bloodline."
"How?!" Lady asked, surprised.
Katsuma then turned around to lift down a part of his shirt from his left, revealing the Joestar Birthmark on him, from the back of his shoulder.
"That mark!" Joshua said. "I have that mark too!"
Joshua then showed his Joestar birthmark from the back of his shoulder.
"Ah! So, you're in the same bloodline as I am!" Katsuma said.
"How are you two in the same bloodline when you are both from two different countries?" Ashley asks. "I mean, Katsuma, you're from Japan and Joshua is born here in America."
"Good question, Ashley." Katsuma replied. "You see, The Joestar family usually involves around families living in either The United Kingdom or here in America. There's my family, The Higashikatas, we are all from Japan. However, in the middle, there's the Kujos. It's basically like some of them are in America and some are in Japan. Confusing, but it's something."
"I think my mind is in a million pieces right now." Santona said.
"Interesting…" Joshua said. "So, what do we do now, Katsuma? Ashley?"
"Hmm… Katsuma, do you have anything else to say on why you're here?" Ashley asks.
"And what did you mean by HER?" Joshua asked. "Were you talking about Diana Brando?"
"You've read my mind, Joshua." Katsuma replied. "Now, where should I start? This might be a long story for you all to listen to."
"We have all the time you need for this story." Ashley said. "Let's hear what you got."
"So, Joshua, did you graduate at Kimeru High School?" Katsuma asked. "That's where I went for my Junior and Senior years there when me and my family moved to America."
"Of course! Only to then became a terrible last minute night for myself, since Diana became a vampire." Joshua replied.
"I have stop by at that school during your graduation, I have graduated 2 years ago, by the way. When I see you running, I knew something was wrong. I stayed there a little longer, only to see that the gym's lights were all blacked out. I checked on the gym only to see that it went up the moment I went in there. There, I've seen a lot of seniors, dead on the ground with a giant hole on each one. It might have been the work of Diana's Stand."
"Diana has a Stand?" Santona said. "I went to my family after this whole graduation ceremony ended."
"What was her Stand, Katsuma?" Ashley asked.
"I don't know. I tried to take the backdoor, but it was locked, so I had to go take the entrance. That's when it happens, an explosion occurred, in the Chemistry room. I can tell that because that's where some of the small, but safe explosions would be at." Katsuma replied.
"Huh, so could that also be part of Diana's Stand?" Joshua asked.
"Who knows, Joshua." Katsuma replied. "(Sighs) There was a lot of chaos coming from Diana, and we need to fix it. (Looks at the amethysts from the ground) Huh, these amethysts… Do they do anything, Ashley?"
"When they flicker, that's when evil is afoot." Ashley replied. "However, none of these amethysts have been doing anything ever since my mom had died and when I took over."
"Huh… This is something… Looks like we'll have to keep our guards up until we have the power to defeat Diana. For now, let's all try and take some rest, for now."
Meanwhile in a dark room, Diana saw Davion walking over to her.
"Diana, Slim Shady is killed." Davion said.
"I knew it." Diana said. "I knew he would die. He had a good run for his crimes…"
"Is there anything THEY should do to Joshua?"
"Oh? You mean the ones that I hired for you?"
"Yes, those three."
"Let them have their fun, Davion. If they fail, then they'll have MY fun…"
