"No really, how did you two get here?" Aliya asked, begging for an answer.
"Let's just say we discovered a way for us to be able to go back and forth. That's as much as we can tell you." George said. "And we can take others with us."
"How long will you be staying?" Aliya asked. "How many people can you take with you?"
"A few days." Fred said.
"Quite a few." George said, "Cool right?"
"Um yeah." Aliya said.
"The king will want to know if more guests have arrived and how long they will be staying." Legolas said.
"The king, his father." Elrohir said.
"I see. Well-" Fred started.
"If you could take us to him please." George finished.
Aliya and Legolas exchanged nervous looks.
Aliya knew how Fred and George could be and she didn't want them to get in trouble with the king.
Legolas knew how Elrohir and Elladan could be and he didn't know how his father would react seeing two pairs of twins that act similar to each other.
Legolas led Elrohir, Elladan, Fred and George to the throne room. He knew that's where his father would be at this time of day.
Once they were all in the throne room Legolas left and as he was walking back to Aliya's room he regretted his decision.
"So far so good?" Aliya asked as Legolas entered the room.
"I don't think so. I think my father is going to lose his mind." Legolas said. "Fred and George were acting very sophisticated and serious and Elrohir and Elladan were convincing themselves that they weren't scared of anything."
"Have faith in them."
"I do but I don't. I mean they can be so immature at times."
"And how do you know that?"
"When Fred and George were acting sophisticated they were talking in fancy voices and constantly repeating how sophisticated they were. Elrohir kept saying he was the bravest being in all of Middle Earth and anyone who looks upon him would freeze in place from fear while Elladan kept repeating he wasn't scared of anything."
Aliya facepalmed and started laughing.
"What's so funny? My fathers going to lose his mind!" Legolas said, smiling.
Legolas didn't know if he was smiling at the realization of how funny the situation was or at Aliya. Suddenly remembering something he wanted to do Legolas snapped back into reality.
Aliya walked onto the balcony and breathed in the fresh air. She heard Legolas follow behind her.
"I see you learned to braid your own hair now." Legolas said.
Aliya nodded then said, "Hermione and Ginny tought me."
"Aliya." Legolas said.
Aliya turned and looked at him.
"I have a question I've been wanting to ask you for a while now." Legolas said.
"And what might that be?" Aliya asked.
Legolas hesitated before asking, "Will you marry me?"
Aliya knew her answer but she felt like she had lost her voice.
"Y-yes." Aliya stuttered.
Aliya watched as a wide smile formed on Legolas face then he leaned in and kissed her.
Aliya wrapped her arms around Legolas.
Suddenly they both pulled away at the sound of clapping. Aliya and Legolas turned, their faces red from embarrassment, and saw Elrohir, Elladan, Fred and George.
"How?" Aliya asked.
"Why?" Legolas asked.
"Twin intuition." The four of them said in sync.
"You're not leaving any time soon are you." Legolas said, knowing the answer.
"Nope." They all said.
"Well then." Legolas said, turning back to Aliya.
"Legolas is it ok if you give me the ring you picked out on the day of the wedding?" Aliya asked. "I was wondering if I could use my mother's as an engagement ring."
Legolas smiled.
"Of course." He said.
Then Legolas walked back into the bedroom room and took Aliya's mother's ring that had been set on her nightstand and brought it back to Aliya. Then he took her hand and slid it on. It fit perfectly.
"So this is why you said your father would now get bothered more than you." Aliya said.
"Yes." Legolas said, smiling.
"Is this also what you went to talk to your father about?"
"Yes. How did you know I talked to my father today?"
"He told me that you came and talked to him when he spoke with me today."
"I see."
"Wait Legolas, are you sure this is a good idea. I mean I don't think your father really likes me."
Legolas sighed.
"Listen, my father is like that with everyone but he would not have let me marry you if he didn't like you. He does like you, he just doesn't show it because his pride gets in the way. Trust me, once he becomes your father-in-law he will treat you differently."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm pretty sure because he's only my father and he's only been my father for about 2,931 years and more to come, not much but yeah." Legolas said, smiling.
"Ok I believe you." Aliya laughed.
Legolas smiled and put his arm around her as they walked back into the bedroom where they found Elrohir, Elladan, Fred and George sitting on the couch or floor talking.
They both walked over and sat down. Legolas seated himself on the couch next to Elladan.
"So, how did it go with my father?" Legolas asked, resting his hands on Aliya's shoulders who had seated herself at his feet across from Fred and George.
"It went terrible." George said.
"Pretty bad." Elladan said.
"See Legolas it went terrible." Aliya said , relieved for a second until she felt Legolas' hands tense up was when she realized what they had said.
"What do you mean it went terrible?" Legolas asked nervously.
"Give us all the details." Aliya said.
"Maybe not all the details." Legolas said quickly.
"Well-" Fred started.
"It all started when Fred tripped up the steps." George continued. "Then things got bad."
"The king seemed to know what kind of people we were the second we entered the room." Fred said.
"Hence he told us to not talk unless told to. Which Elrohir clearly ignored." Elladan said.
"I didn't ignore him! I didn't hear!" Elrohir argued.
"You're an elf. How did you manage not to hear him?!" Elladan asked.
"I don't know!" Elrohir said.
"Long story short after Elrohir spoke when he wasn't allowed Elladan scolded him then we all ended up in an argument-" George started.
"And your father had to yell at us in order for us to stop-" Fred continued.
"Then he scolded us and sent us out of the throne room." Elrohir and Elladan finished.
Aliya looked up at Legolas. His eyes were wide and his mouth slightly open. His hands were tense as well.
"You're lucky you only got scolded." Legolas managed to say.
"You think? The whole walk back I was thinking of how worse it could have been!" Elrohir said.
"How worse could it have been?" Aliya asked, nervously.
"A lot worse." Elrohir said.
Aliya tensed up.
"But it shouldn't get that far." Legolas said, message Aliya's shoulders to help calm her. He knew his father could freak her out at times. Mostly because his father was a frightening figure at times.
"Anyway what's happening back at home?" Aliya asked.
"Well when you left Harry, Hermione and Ron went to search for the horcruxes blah blah blah-" Fred started.
"There was a giant war at Hogwarts, which you will get more details on some other time,-" George continued.
"And several years later Harry is now married to Ginny and Ron, Hermione. Oh yeah and Harry killed Voldemort and mum killed Bellatrix." Fred finished.
"It's about time they're gone." Aliya muttered.
"Well would you look at the time." Fred said, standing up.
Aliya looked outside. It was already dark out surprisingly.
"I'll show you to your rooms." Legolas said, carefully standing up, trying not to step on Aliya.
"Perfect." Elladan and Elrohir said, walking out of the room with Fred and George.
"I better get out there before they head off on their own and get lost." Legolas said, putting his hands on Aliya's face and kissing her head.
"Alright. Goodnight." Aliya said, as she gave Legolas a hug.
"Oh and I forgot to tell you this earlier but some handmaidens brought in a wardrobe for you today." Legolas said.
Then he walked out of the room and shut the door. Aliya stood there for a second listening when she heard voices.
"Elrohir, Elladan come back! Fred, Geor- thank you for waiting George. Fred! Not that way." Legolas yelled.
Aliya smirked then started getting ready for bed.
