Mama Yang-10

It was a bright and sunny morning in the dorm of three, currently two, teammates of Team RWBY, as the sunlight filtered through the curtains, hitting the young reaper Ruby Rose, in the eyes, waking her up. She sat up on her top bunk, and looked to the ground at Blake's solo bed on the other side of the room, finding it still empty.

It wasn't unusual these days to find Blake's bed empty, since she started her relationship with Yang, but she was gone for a different reason, and a text from Yang, saying how Athena wasn't back yet, only confirmed that Blake and Athena were still missing.

Ruby was pulled from her thoughts when she heard a scream coming from the bathroom. Jumping out of her bed, and down to the floor, Ruby rushed over, to see Weiss, looking very different, which didn't come as a surprise to Ruby, as she'd seen these changes in Yang months ago.

The first thing to notice about Weiss's change, was her hair. The snowy white locks now sported a deep icy blue tint at the tips, and her ears were now sporting cartilage spikes, that were like Yang and Athena's.

"This cannot be happening." Weiss said.

"What, you didn't notice them budding last night?" Ruby inquired leaning against the doorframe to the bathroom.

"Ruby Rose. This is not a laughing matter. Do you know what my parents are gonna say about this, what my siblings are going to say?" Weiss questioned.

"I don't see what the big deal is. I mean you've basically secured your position as Heiress to the SDC." Ruby exclaimed.

"How, is me becoming a Faunus, securing my position as Heiress?" Weiss asked, fuming.

"Well, for one, your father won't be able to revoke your right as heiress, without plausible cause for it. An' if he does so, just because you're a Faunus, being the heiress will automatically be returned to you, and everything illegal your father has done, including the recent stuff with the SDC enslaving Faunus, will be brought to light, and pinned on him, showing his true nature. An' you and I both know, he's not gonna risk letting his dirty secrets be revealed to the public. He'll do everything in his power to avoid it." Ruby explained. "Even accepting his second oldest being turned into a Faunus."

"But why would Athena even do this, just because we had an argument?" Weiss questioned.

"You seriously don't get it do you?" Ruby asked. "You think your childhood was hell, but Athena's was worse. She did this, to make you see things from her point of view, from a Faunus's point of view." Ruby stated. "Life for her was hell, before Yang adopted her. My family gave her a home, a place to sleep, and a family of her own."

"I get her childhood was rougher than mine, but that doesn't mean she had to do something this extreme." Weiss said.

"Weiss, she's a kid. She's gonna do certain things like this, before her brain tells her it's reckless or too extreme." Ruby said. "An' biting you to let the enzymes in her saliva turn you into a Dragon Faunus, was one of those times."

"You're right." Weiss sighed.

"C'mon, we're spending the day looking to Blake and Athena." Ruby said.

"Why are we looking for that White Fang spy?" Weiss questioned.

"Because she's not a spy, and because I said so." Ruby said. "Now take your shower so I can take mine, and we'll leave to go and find Blake and my niece."

~Vale Sometime Later~

"Blake, Athena." Yang called out, Saffron on her shoulder.

"Athena." Ruby called for her niece. "Blake, c'mon it's been two days. Ugh, Weiss you're not helping."

"You know who could help? The police."

"Weiss." Yang said, turning to look at the Schnee Heiress, her eyes red. "Either you help look for them, or you can spend the week in a hospital bed. Your selfish, self-righteous attitude, is what caused this whole mess, leaving us to be the ones to clean it up. So get off your high horse, and start helping."

"Geeze, it was only a suggestion, no need to bite my head off." Weiss said.

"Yeah, a very bad suggestion, you made in front of a Dragon worried about her child." Ruby said.

~At a Nearby Café~

With the sun out, and the birds singing, it was a beautiful day, for three figures to be sitting on a rooftop café with their respective drinks. Blake was having tea, the golden haired monkey boy was having coffee, and surprisingly, the café had milkshakes, to which Athena was having a strawberry milkshake.

Blake just sat silently across from the monkey boy, while Athena nervously drank her milkshake, before the Faunus in hiding, spoke up.

"So, you wanna know more about me." Blake said.

"Finally she speaks. Nearly two days and the both of you have given me nothing but small talk and weird looks." The monkey said, to which both Blake and Athena gave him mildly offended and annoyed looks. "Yeah, like that. So first off, what is with the kid?"

"She's my girlfriend's daughter." Blake exclaimed.

"Eh, cool. You're into older women, nothing wrong with that." The monkey said.

"My mom's the same age as her." Athena exclaimed, causing the golden haired Faunus to choke and cough on some coffee.

"Seriously? How old was your mom when she had you?"

"I'm adopted." Athena exclaimed.

"Sun… are you familiar with the White Fang?" Blake asked.

"Of course. I don't think there's a Faunus on the planet who hasn't heard of them." Sun said. "Stupid, holier-than-thou creeps that use force to get whatever they want. Bunch a freaks if you ask me."

"I'm taking cover." Athena said, bringing her milkshake under the table with her.

"I was… once a member of the White Fang." Blake exclaimed.

This time, Sun actually did a spit take and choked a little more on the coffee he had gotten a refill of.

"Wait a minute, 'you' were a member of the White Fang?" Sun asked.

"Is it safe to come back up?" Athena asked.

"Come up sweetie." Blake said. "That's right Sun. I was a member for most of my life actually. You could almost say I was born into it."

"Yeah, since her dad was the founding High Leader." Athena said, before drinking more of her milkshake.

"Back then, things were different. In the ashes of war, the White Fang was meant to be a symbol of peace and unity between humans and the Faunus." Blake began to explain. "Of course, despite being promised equality, the Faunus were still subjected to discrimination and hate. Humanity still thought of us as lesser beings. An' so, the White Fang rose up as a voice of our people. An' I was there. I was at the front of every rally. I took part in every boycott. An' I actually thought we were making a difference… but I was just a youthful optimist… Then, five years ago, our leader, my father, stepped down, and a new one took his place. A new leader, with a new way of thinking. Suddenly our peaceful protests were being replaced with organized attacks. We were setting fire to shops that refused to serve us. Hijacking cargo from companies that used Faunus labour. An' the worst part was? It was working. We were being treated like equals. But not out of respect… out of fear." Blake said, putting her teacup down as Athena finished her milkshake. "So, I left, I decided I no longer wanted to use my skills to aid in their violence, and instead, I would dedicate my life to becoming a Huntress. So here I am. A criminal hiding in plain view, all with the help, of a little black bow." She exclaimed, giving her ears a wiggle.

"So… Have you told your friends any of this?" Sun questioned.

~Yang, Weiss, Ruby~

"Wait, you already knew about Blake's past, and didn't think to tell us we had a terrorist sharing the same dorm as us?" Weiss questioned.

"Of course I knew. You think I wouldn't have caught a whiff of Blake's cat nature with this nose of mine? I've known she was a Faunus since I first met her." Yang exclaimed, Saffron jumping into Ruby's arms.

"Then explain why you aided a terrorist into maintaining her cover." Weiss stated.

"Blake is not a terrorist. She left the White Fang, because she didn't like how things were going since the old leader stepped down five years ago. An' she wants to make a difference her way. So back off." Yang argued. "Besides, it wasn't my secret to tell, and I promised her, I wouldn't tell anyone."

"I can't trust a word that comes out of your mouth now. I bet you and Athena are White Fang spies just like her." Weiss exclaimed, before Yang grabbed her by the front of her blouse, and threw her into a wall, hitting her head, before Yang wrapped her arms around Weiss's torso, and threw her into the air, and throwing her into the ground, hitting the heiress with a perfect suplex.

Picking herself up, Yang dusted off her arms, and looked back to the writhing in pain Schnee girl.

"My daughter is not some spy, and neither am I. I've damaged the vertebra in your neck, and that wall slam has most likely given you a concussion, so you're gonna need a hospital. Hopefully by the time you're discharged, you'll have thought over what you just said, and you should also think about what you're accusing Blake of to." Yang exclaimed. "The world isn't so black and white, that you can just define it as good and evil. There are others, who oppose what the same people of their species, do. Blake is an example of that. She opposes what the White Fang does, and will do things as a Huntress. So try thinking outside your own self-centered perspective."

~Blake, Sun, Athena~

"So, the only person you've told about your past, is your girlfriend?" Sun questioned as he was walking down the street with Blake and Athena. "What's the plan now?"

"I still don't believe the White Fang is behind these robberies. They've never needed that much Dust before." Blake said.

"What if they did?" Sun questioned.

"You're thinking of something crazy aren't you?" Athena asked.

"The only way to prove that they didn't do it, is to go to the place where they would most likely go to if they were to do it, and not find them there…" Sun exclaimed. "Right?"

"That's actually smart monkey boy." Athena said.

"The only thing is, I have no idea where that would be." Blake stated.

"Well, while I was on the ship, I heard some guys talking about offloading a 'huge' shipment of Dust coming in from Atlas." Sun exclaimed.

"How huge?" Blake inquired.

"'Huge'. Big Schnee Company freighter."

"You're sure?"

"Positive." Sun exclaimed.

"So what's the plan?" Athena asked.

~That Night~

"I still would have felt a lot better if you had stayed behind at the hotel Athena." Blake said, lying low on a freighter crate with Athena beside her, dressed in her combat gear.

"I am not missing a chance to put my training to the test. You know I would have followed either way." Athena said.

"That's true." Blake sighed in defeat before Sun came back, with some apples.

"Did I miss anything?" Sun questioned.

"Not really. They've offloaded all the crates from the boat. Now they're just sitting there." Blake explained.

"Cool." Sun said, before holding out an apple to her. "I stole you some food."

"Do you always break the law without a second thought?" Blake questioned.

"Hey weren't you in a cult, or something?" Sun questioned, to which both Athena and Blake gave him an annoyed, angry glare. "Okay, too soon." He said, before the sound of turbine engines roaring above them passed overhead, with a gale of wind following, nearly knocking them all of the crate they were hiding on, as an airship dropped down from the skies, close to the Schnee Freighters.

After landing on the docks, the door to the airship opened, and pouring out came several members of the White Fang.

"Oh no." Blake said, as Athena scooted closer to her.

"Is that them?" Sun asked.

"Yes. It's them." Blake said.

"You really didn't think they were behind it, did you?" Sun asked.

"No, I think deep down I knew. I just didn't want to be right." Blake exclaimed.

"Hey. What's the hold up?" A voice echoed from the airship.

Athena sniffed the air, and got up on one knee, leaning forward a bit.

"I smell a human." She said. "He reeks of cigars and cheap whisky."

"We're not exactly the most inconspicuous bunch of thieves at the moment, sooo why don't you animal try to pick up the pace?" Roman Torchwhick said, coming out of the airship.

"This isn't right." Blake said. "The White Fang would never work with a human. Especially not one like that." Blake exclaimed jumping to her feet and unsheathing Gambol Shroud.

"Hey what are you doing?" Sun questioned.

Both Athena and Blake hopped down from the freighter, and went sneaking around in the shadows, towards where Roman Torchwhick was. Blake signaled for Athena to go in one direction, while she went in another.

"No you idiot. This isn't a leash." Roman said.

"Hey Roman. We caught something you might wanna see." One of the White Fang grunts said, coming into Blake's view with Athena in his arm in a bear hug.

"Why would I care about a pesky stray?" Roman asked. "An' call me boss. Okay Tiny?"

"This little girl is the target Adam has been wanting to get his mitts on. She'll be the linchpin to the White Fang's plans, when she's old enough to produce offspring." The grunt said. "She's a Dragon Faunus, and unlike most, she's able to use all the elements."

"You don't say. Taurus did tell me to keep an eye out for this one, now that I look at her, and recognize her from the picture he gave me." Roman said, pulling the picture from his in coat pocket. "All right, load her up into the ship."

"Not gonna happen." Athena said, swinging her legs up and back down, slamming her heels into the grunt's family jewels, causing him to let go of her in pain.

"Oh for f-." Roman began to say, right before Athena lunged at him, hitting his stomach with her head.

With Roman incapacitated, Athena flipped over onto her hands, performing the same attack she did on Cardin, by kicking him on the underside of the jaw.

Landing on her feet again, Athena reached to the mask on her hip and put it on, showing that it had the same markings as Saffron's faceplate, but covered her whole face, making the small girl look even more menacing as the eye sockets lit up, glowing purple. The idea for this added function came from examining Raven's Nevermore mask, and taking it apart.

"She's got a mask like ours… but it's different." Tiny said, painfully forcing himself to stand up.

"She's not a member of the White Fang." Roman said, as Athena disappeared in a flash of blue lightning. "She's strong for such a little girl." He exclaimed, before he was knocked to the ground, and wrapped up in chains. "This is bad for business, really bad." Roman growled.

"Guess all your training was put to good use Athena." Blake said, coming out from her hiding spot.

"Thank you." Athena said, her voice still innocent and adorable.

"How is it, such an adorable and cute child, could come with such immense power, stored away in such a tiny little package?" Roman questioned, before Blake pointed her blade at Roman's throat.

"Nobody move." Blake said.

"Whoa, take it easy there little lady." Roman exclaimed as the other White Fang grunts surrounding them, pulled out, or aimed their weapons at them.

Blake reached up, and removed the ribbon concealing her ears, showing that she was a Faunus as well.

"Brothers of the White Fang. Why are you aiding this scum?" Blake questioned, as Athena removed her mask, showing her scales and eyes. Blake's question got a lot of the grunts to question what they were doing with Roman Torchwhick.

"Heh, oh kid. Didn't you get the memo?" Roman asked.

"What are you talking about?" Blake asked.

"The White Fang and I are going on a joint business venture together." Roman stated.

"Tell me what it is, or I'll put an end to your littler operation." Blake threatened, as Athena activated one of her wrist mounted crossbows and aimed it at his face, with a Burn Dust Crystal Arrow head on the small arrow.

"I'm still a pretty bad shot, but not even I can miss from point blank range." Athena exclaimed, before the sound of more turbine engines echoed through the air, as two more airships came in for a landing.

"I wouldn't exactly call it a little operation." Roman said, as he managed to wiggle his way out of the chains while the two Huntresses in training were distracted.

Using his cane, in its weapon form, Roman fired Burn Dust shots at both Athena and Blake, trying to incapacitate them.

~With Yang~

"ATHENA." Yang cried out in panic, running for the docks, where the explosion rang from.

~Ruby and Penny~

"Oh no." Ruby groaned as she and Penny began running through the streets to the docks.

~Back at the Docks~

Roman fired another round at Blake, who rolled forward, dodging it, and running from the next oncoming rounds he fired at her.

"Leave her alone." Athena shouted, her mask back on her face, slamming into Roman's side, sending him rolling across the pavement. 'I am not scared. I am not afraid.' Athena chanted, fighting the fear building up in her heart.

"You little brat. I'll bring you into Adam Taurus, one piece at a time." Roman said, aiming his weapon at her, but stopped when he felt something land on his hand. "Ew." He said, throwing away the banana peel. He looked up just in time to see the golden haired monkey Faunus come falling down towards him.

"Woohoo." Sun cheered, landing on Roman's shoulders, forcing him to his back, as Sun rolled forward and bounced back up on his feet. "Athena, I've got the boss man." Sun said. "You handle the goon squad."

"Will do." Athena said, turning her attention to the White Fang grunts, making their way towards them.

Zipping about in a blur of blue lightning. Athena grabbed the chain she'd used to tie up Roman, and swung the tip of it around, using it like a ball and chain to hit each and every one of the grunts in the face. Turning back over, Athena spotted one of the airships, accustomed with a gatling gun, aiming it directly at her.

"Oh crap. Now I'm terrified." Athena said, starring down the barrels of the gun.

"ATHENA."

The young Faunus girl was caught off guard, when a pair of strong arms, grabbed her in their embrace, and ran off, barely avoiding the Gatling Guns fire power as they hid behind a crate.

Athena looked up to see that it was Yang who had grabbed her, holding her tight in an embrace, that said more than a thousand words.

"Oh I'm so happy I got to you in time." Yang said. "I'm here now baby girl, I'm here."

"Mom." Athena gasped taking off her mask. "You're not mad at me, for running off?"

"No baby girl. I understand you were upset, and I knew that Blake was with you, so I didn't have to worry." Yang said. "But what's going on here? What are you doing in the middle of this fight?"

"Blake wanted to know for certain if the White Fang really were responsible for those robberies, so Sun told us about this shipment he overheard was gonna be unloaded tonight here at the docks. We found out that the White Fang really were responsible, but they weren't alone. For some reason, they're working with a human, Roman Torchwhick."

"An' you ended up getting more than you bargained for." Yang sighed. "All right, it's been a while since I've had a good fight."

"Mom?" Athena questioned.

"What, you really think your mom's gonna miss out on a chance to show that criminal, Roman Torchwhick, some humility?" Yang questioned, standing up, and cracking her knuckles. "Let's show them the power of how we roll."

"Right." Athena smiled putting her mask back on.

(Cue Music… People like us: Kelly Clarkson)

Running out from the crate, Yang and Athena ran side by side, before the blonde brawler grabbed Athena by the hand, spinning around and throwing her with a large amount of momentum towards the airship, as Athena lit herself on fire, and covered her head with her arms, before she used her aura to crash through the airship, causing engine failure, and its inevitable explosion.

While still in the air, Athena had a birds eye view of what was going on and found both Sun and Blake, having Roman on the ropes, but also found that the other airship that came in for a surprise attack, had one of the crates all locked and loaded, ready to go.

Spinning around, and using a roar to send her flying, Athena sent herself heading directly for the cables connecting one of the shipment crates to the air vehicle, and brought her arms up, with blade protruding from the sides of her vambraces, managing to slice all the way through one of the cables, and part of the way through another, before she gripped the partially destroyed cable.

"I hope this works." Athena said, removing her mask again, before opening her jaws wide, and biting down on the cable. She felt a bit of pain in the roots of her teeth, before she actually managed to bite through the remaining strands of the cable, severing one end of the crate from the airship. "I did it, I unlocked a new element." Athena cheered before she used the severed cable like a swing and built momentum to fling herself towards the next cable, and gripping it tightly.

Repeating what she did last time, Athena was biting down into the metal of the cable, steadily making her way to severing it, while Yang, down below, kept the White Fang Grunts at bay, preventing them from shooting at her.

"Purgatory Dragon: ROAR." Yang shouted, sending a wave of flames from her mouth, washing over the White Fang Grunts, at low enough levels to not kill them, but to also leave them writing in pain for weeks.

Yang looked up at the airship, hearing another snap. Athena had successfully managed to sever another cable. But that didn't mean she was out of the woods yet. As there were plenty of White Fang Grunts, attempting to stop her.

Using her purgatory fire, Yang shot herself up to the only remaining cable, before performing a roundhouse kick, knocking one of the grunts climbing down the rope ladder, into the ocean.

Making sure to keep herself air born with her flames, Yang flew around the airship, fighting off anyone with intent to harm Athena, and stop her from what she was doing. Hearing the final snap of the fourth cable, Yang flew down below the airship, catching Athena mid-fall, and let off a roar that pierced the airship, before rolling forward as they hit the ground, and rolling right into Roman, knocking him over.

"Yang?" Blake questioned.

"Heya Blakey. Been a minute, hasn't it?" Yang questioned, her eyes spinning as she was dizzy before she shook it off, and got up with Athena by her side, standing next to Blake and Sun. "Did Athena behave for you?"

"She was fine, she actually was quiet most of the time. Even got a bit nervous whenever Sun mentioned returning to Beacon." Blake said.

"I'd imagine, she did bite Weiss after all." Yang chuckled.

"I hate to break up this reunion, but think you could have it later?" Sun questioned, as Roman got back up on his feet.

"Let me handle him." Athena smiled, her body covering itself with metal scales.

"Whoa, since when could she do that?" Blake questioned as they began to fight off White Fang grunts.

"She actually unlocked that element when destroying the cables that the White Fang managed to connect to one of the shipment crates." Yang explained.

Athena went charging at Roman, as he was cornered by three walls of shipment crates. Encasing herself in blue lightning, Athena went jumping from wall to wall, slamming her metal covered fists against Roman multiple times beating down his aura one hit at a time.

"Give up now. You're out matched, and out gunned." Athena said, stopping on the ground, twenty feet away from Roman.

"Oh, I wouldn't know about that. I still have one trump card left." Roman said, with a smirk.

(End Song…)

Athena went charging at Roman again, intending on knocking him out with one final attack, but was knocked back by an invisible force, sending her to the ground, with a painful thump as she wasn't able to keep her metal scales up for long.

"Athena." Yang cried out as the young girl picked herself up.

Athena looked up through her slightly broken mask, with the top right portion missing, unveiling her right eye, with a bit of blood going down over it. When she looked up, she saw a young woman with half pink and half brown hair, with matching hetero chromic eyes. Her clothes consisted of a white cropped wide, broad tailed jacket with a pink interior, collar, a single gold button and large pink cuffs.

She wore brown pants with a dark belt that has a gray buckle and an additional narrow belt under it. Under her jacket is a brown corset, curved in the middle and at the bottom, exposing her hips. Around her neck wear also a multitude of black beaded necklaces, which Athena recognized, symbolizing her as a female member of the Branwen Tribe. While also wearing a black and white spat styled under the knee boots alongside black gloves, complete with a pink and white frilly umbrella, which doubled as a sword sheath, proven as the ice cream girl put her thin blade away.

"It took you long enough Neo. I wasn't sure how much more I could take. She even destroyed my cane." Roman said putting a hand on Neo's shoulder. "I hate to run kiddies, but playtime is over. I have things to do, and people to see. You understand, adult stuff."

Athena went running for them, and prepared a Fire Dragon's Iron Fist, to trike them with, but when she threw the attack, she felt like she broke through a pane of glass and crashed into one of the freight crate walls, shattering what remained of her mask. Lifting herself to her knees, Athena heard the roar of turbine engines as one of the airships took off, with empty cables hanging low.

"No. They escaped." Athena growled, slamming her fist into the ground as Yang, Blake, and Sun came to check on her.

"Athena look at me. How many fingers am I holding up?" Yang asked holding up three fingers.

"Three." Athena said as Blake used a small flashlight in her pocket to examine her eyes.

"She doesn't seem to have a concussion." Blake said.

"But she left a pretty sizable dent in the crate." Sun exclaimed, putting a hand in the dent.

"Her mask was designed to protect her from most blunt force trauma attacks. But you're right, an impact like that should have rattled her brain, if only a little bit." Yang said.

"We have to go after them." Athena said, moving to get back up.

"No young lady. They're long gone." Yang said pulling Athena in for a hug. "But you did good sweetie, you managed to keep them from getting any of the cargo. An' you unlocked a new element in the process, that's a plus right?"

"I guess." Athena sighed, leaning into Yang's embrace, letting the adrenaline wear off. "I just wish I could have stopped them from getting away, you know?"

"I understand sweetheart." Yang said, rubbing her back. "I'm glad you behaved yourself for Mama while I wasn't around."

"Mama?" Sun asked, raising a brow at Blake.

"Yang and I might have been talking about the idea, to let Athena start calling me mom or mama if she was comfortable with it." Blake said with a bit of a blush on her cheeks. "I mean, at this point, I've been helping her raise Athena, and she obviously sees me as a second mother, otherwise she wouldn't have fully trusted me enough to accompany me for this two day getaway. An' I've been playing a big roll, in helping with her training, it's almost like we're actually bonding."

"Plus she's watched over Athena while I've been out on personal errands multiple times, which has helped to keep her out of trouble, and still keep Athena entertained." Yang explained. "Plus, Blake and I have been dating for nearly three months now, so we figured now would be the perfect time to start this."

"I guess that makes sense." Sun stated.

"Blake, tomorrow you and I need to take a trip to the hospital. There's someone, you're needing to talk to, and clear things up with." Yang said, as the police sirens could be heard getting closer.

~Hospital the following day~

"Seriously Yang? Did you have to send her here?" Blake questioned.

"I'm sorry all right, I was kinda pissed in the heat of the moment, so I acted without thinking." Yang said, as they reached the hospital room Weiss was in. Opening the door, Blake and Yang found Weiss was back on her feet, without a neck brace, as she finished putting on her freshly cleaned clothes, but now had 0847a1-icy blue dragon scales on her cheeks, in the same area as Yang and Athena's.

"Well look who showed up." Weiss said, adjusting her sleeves.

"Weiss look, I just wanna say…"

"Abupupupupupup." Weiss said, stopping Blake. "Blake, do you know how long I've been sitting here, worried about you as my aura healed my injuries? Over a day, and in that time, I had time to think over some things, and realized… I don't care."

"You don't…"

"You said you're not with them anymore right?" Weiss asked.

"No, I haven't been since I was younger and…"

"Abupupupupupup." Weiss stopped her again. "I don't care. Just promise me next time something this big comes up, you'll come talk to your teammates about it. An' not go to… someone else." Weiss exclaimed, assuming that Blake and Athena spent the whole time with the blonde monkey tailed Faunus.

"Agreed." Blake smiled.

"Now as for you Yang Xiao Long." Weiss said, addressing the blonde brawler.

"Yes?" Yang asked, raising an eyebrow, expecting Weiss to go on a tirade about how she took injuring Weiss too far.

"I'm sorry." Weiss exclaimed. "I said some terrible things about you and Athena, and I understand that I had upset you. Which was a dumb idea, since you were already so high strung and concerned about Athena's safety."

"I should be apologizing to you." Yang said. "I took things too far by injuring your neck, and I know it's no excuse, but I did let my emotions get in the way, so I'm sorry to."

"I'm glad you all could make up." Athena said, a bandage on her forehead. "Also, Weiss I'm sorry that I bit you."

"Don't be." Weiss exclaimed bringing Athena in for a gentle hug. "I think this is what I needed, to be able to walk a mile or two in your shoes, to truly understand how hard the Faunus have it. So I'm grateful to you, for opening up my eyes."

"Well, now that we're all friends again, what's say we go out for lunch, my treat?" Yang suggested with a big bright smile.

"Smitty's." Athena said.

"I'm down for Smitty's." Blake smiled.

"Same. I do enjoy their salads." Weiss agreed.

"Great, than Smitty's it is." Yang cheered.

~Elsewhere~

"How are you feeling, my beloved?" Salem asked, as she sat on the edge of the bed she was sharing with Acnologia.

"I'm feeling fine." Acnologia said.

Acnologia had changed a lot in his time since his resurrection. His muscles, no longer atrophied, and has since regained full mobility regained full mobility of his left arm after it returned to him. His skin was slightly lighter in color, with black veins traveling from his blackened fingernails, up to his mid-forearms, with the veins under his eyes still visible, and spreading, ever so slowly. The black in his hair was white as ash, and the blue in his hair and on his skin was a soft lavender shade.

"What is the last thing you can remember?" Salem questioned.

"I remember everything. What I went through for over four hundred years in Earthland, what I went through here in Remnant for twenty years, the time we spent together, the birth of our daughter, and the night I died." Acnologia explained. "I remember everything that went on through my time in the afterlife as well. I was in complete hell, complete agony. I realized what I had done, wasn't justice. It was complete and utter insanity, innate genocide. I killed the dragons who were on the side of the humans, like they were nothing but mindless animals, all because I had let the grief of what I'd lost, consume me."

"Beloved, you did what you thought was right, and you acted on it from the depths of your heart. You have nothing to feel sorrow for. Just like you, I do this because it is needed. The humans are literally Godless." Salem explained. "Ozma and I tried to take the place of the Gods to lead them into a better future. But he chose to betray me, taking my daughters away, and in the end, killing them in the midst of our battle."

Acnologia looked into Salem's eyes, and saw genuine pain from bringing up the memory of her daughters and her former lover.

"We need to end this world, and bring it back up, as its Adam and Eve." Salem explained. "You and I, shall be the mother and father of the new world, and raise it, alongside our daughter, who shall be revered, as the one true Goddess."

A/N: Quick side note.

There are some readers who are a bit confused as to how Weiss is now a Faunus, so if any of you are reading this now, I'd recommend you go back and reread chapter2. I'm sure you'll understand it after that.
