Back at the precinct, Ella is looking at the wrinkled letter Chloe found from Steven Killigan's apartment. She searches through the clues of the handwriting, the alcohol stains, and the ink. Ms. Lopez hums to a song she is listening to on her headphones.

Chloe and the Lucifer from another world step in to check in on the young forensic scientist. Chloe waits by the big table in the center of the lab for answers from Ella. Lucifer walks over to Ella and asks right behind her in the ear, "What annoying song are you listening to?"

Ella leaps from her feet as she takes an earbud out of her ear. Her eyes are wide open as she yells, "Lucifer, don't do that!"

Lucifer doesn't move as he wants to hear an answer from her. Ella puts her right hand on her heart to reply, "It's a good song called God's Not Dead by the Newsboys. Really great song. You should give it a chance when you're not nearly giving a person a heart attack. Geesh!"

Lucifer smiles as he says, "Well, goodie for you for mentioning that again! But as I told you, my Father is dead which is a mystery to be solved."

Chloe butts in as she asks, "Any clues on who the letter was from or to who?"

Ella takes the other ear bud out as she smiles, "Yes, it was from a woman by the name of Claire. I don't know the last name yet."

"Sounds like an ex or something." Chloe suggests. She taps her index finger on her chin as she is thinking, "Maybe she lives near where Steven lived."

"Or maybe she's an angel sent down to destroy anyone's lives to further the mockery of which is my Father." Lucifer adds.

Chloe sighs as she puts both hands on the table trying to think of more ideas. She is deep in thought until Ella says, "Maybe even a sister or any family member. An angel seems a little too far fetched."

"I agree, Ella." Chloe says as she is glad she is not the only sensible person in the room.

Lucifer from the other universe rolls his eyes as he grabs another cigarette from the package he is carrying in his inside jacket pocket. He was about to fire it up with his lighter until Chloe grabs his arm and says, "Not in the precinct, Lucifer!"

"Oh I am so sorry, human, but I felt the need for a little smoke. Gosh, it's getting drafty in here." Lucifer says mockingly.

"I thought I told you to call me by my name. I can't put my finger on why you are acting so…!" Chloe says all flustered when not knowing what she wants to say next.

"So devilish?" Lucifer mockingly says to add what he thought Chloe was going to say. Then he adds, "Yes, yes I am. You should be lucky you are in my presence."

"No, just so narcissistic that it's driving me insane." Chloe points out as she gets red in the face.

Lucifer gives a look of surprise for show as he smiles, "Well that's my best trait yet."

Ella looks at them both going at it and she says in between their heated discussion, "I think I might want to point out that the note does have words in it."

Chloe huffs in anger from Lucifer's attitude and says, "Go on."

"It says 'I know you are an idiot for cheating on your wife with me. Stop this now or things will get worse- Claire'. That's all the note has for our victim," Ella states.

Lucifer gladly says, "Well I was right. It was an ex."

"More of a lover than an ex, Lucifer." Chloe points out then says, "Let me go to my desk to try to find anything on a person named Claire. I'm sure there are only over 200 people with that name in LA."

"Well you do you, Decker. I'm heading out for the night to get some shut eye." Ella says as she goes out of the door. Chloe nods as all three head out. She goes to her desk to pull up the bag containing the letter and turns on the flat screen computer. The detective types on the database for anyone named Claire.

Lucifer sits next to her as she does this. Chloe doesn't realize it until he says, "I know you are mad at me from earlier, but I am what I am. You can't change that and never will."

"I know." Chloe simply says. She types wildly at her keyboard as she puts in the address from where Steven Killigan lived.

"If you know who I am then you know that I will do anything to find out why I am here and why there is some strange occurrence happening." Lucifer states as he mostly says it to himself, "I need to figure out about that earthquake and why I am in a far different LA than I remember."

"Mhm," Chloe nods as she is only half-listening to him as he rambles.

"Maybe some sign might help or a sibling of mine…" Lucifer mutters to himself. Then he stands up from the chair and says, "Bloody brilliant! I could go find my brother!"

Chloe stops typing as she asks, "Amenadiel?"

"Hmm… perhaps I can make an appointment with the angel of time. Bloody bastard doesn't seem to die." Lucifer says as he silently says the last sentence to himself.

"Okay then. That gives me time to shorten the list of Claires that could be linked to our victim." Chloe says.

Lucifer walks onto the stairs until Chloe stops him to say, "I'll give you a call when I find it."

Lucifer gives a thumbs up as he walks out without saying anything. He knows his mission is clear. Find the idiot he killed in Hell who supposedly is alive in this world and have a nice, lengthy chat with him. The only thing that bothered the Devil is knowing where Amenadiel could be.
