Chapter 7: Telling
It was about 5 0'clock before I left the comfort of my dorm room. I walked down the stairs to see my family all sat in our corner chatting. "Hey Rose" James called, I winced, I hoped they wouldn't see me. I plastered a fake smile on my face and walked towards them.
"How are you?" Roxanne asked, "I'm good thanks. Do you know where Scorpius is?," everyone school there heads. "Ok, I'm going to find to him".
I left the portrait hole and went to the owlery. I was going to send a letter to Scorpius. I reached the owlery and found a school owl to deliver my message.
Scorp
We need to talk. Meet me in the room of requirement after dinner.
Rose x
I gave the message to the owl and it flew off, hooting gleefully.

I went back to my dorm, I knew I should eat but I was to nervous. Someone knocked on my door, it opened and Sophie walked in carrying a tray of food! "Hey. How are you feeling?" Sophie asked walking over and putting the tray on my table. She gave me a hug. "I terrified. I'm meeting Scorpius in a minute". "I brought you some food, you weren't at dinner or lunch". "Thanks" I say taking the tray and eating a little of the food. "Goodbye" I said, taking a deep breath and leaving in the room.
I run through what I'm going to say as I walk to the Room of Requirement. I pace in front of the room until the door appears. I enter the room, its taken the shape of an empty room because all I needed was a quiet meeting place.
The door clicks open and Scorpius walks through looking extremely worried and scared. "Rosie, whats up?" My eyes met with his, the worry in his eyes scared me. He didn't even know what I was going to tell him yet. I burst into tears. Scorpius walked towards me, he gathered me into his arms and I sank into the warmth of his body. "Hey, Rosie. You need to tell me whats wrong, I can help". "I i i ccant" I whimpered into his shoulder.
"Rosie, look at me. You have to tell me what's wrong. We can get through this together! I love you and nothing is going to change that! So, take a deep breath and tell me whats wrong"he looked into my eyes. I knew I could do this. I took a deep breath and said it.
"I pregnant" I wispered. A shocked expression came onto his face. "Your your what?" He asked running his hands through his hair. "I'm pregnant" my voice becoming more steady. "Oh my god! What the hell are we going to do?" He whispered.
The panic and worry in his voice pushed me over the edge. I collapsed to the floor and Scorp slid down the wall next to me. Taking me in his arms, soothing me. My breathing was ragged. "Are you sure?" He asked me soothingly. "Hundred percent sure. Ive got the tests to prove it". He nodded, "then we'll get through this together. No matter what, I promise you". I smiled despite myself. "I want to keep it" I told him. He looked scared but said "me to, we'll do this together." He looked into my eyes and I new he was telling the truth.
"What are we going to do now!" I asked, suddenly feeling very small. "I don't know. But I dont think we should tell anyone yet though" "I agree but Sophie already knows, she came with me to do the test. I think we should tell Albus as well". A fresh wave of panic came of Scorp, "Oh my god, your cousins are going to murder me!". We both laughed.

I woke up to sun streaming into my face. I checked my watch it read 8:30. "Scorp" I shook him gently until his eyes fluttered open. He blinked and looked around. "Where are we? What time is it?". "It half past 8 and we are in the room of requirement, I guess we fell asleep" I got up and dusted my self down. Scorp stood up to, "we should probably get to class" I told him. He just shook his head. "No lets just stay here. We have lots to talk about. And I dont want to face Albus yet". I didn't answer I just ran out the room into the room of requirement bathroom.
"Rose" Scorpius called, running after me. I threw my self into a stall and began to vomit violently. I felt Scorpius hold my hair behind me and rub my back. I kept throwing up for a long time. Scorp stayed with me all the time, this surprised me as I heard him gag a few times. When I could finally breath again, I leant back into Scorpius. "Are you ok?" He asked me stroking my damp hair away from my forehead. "Yes, its morning sickness. I'm in for a few more months of this.". Scorpius looked sympathetic. "But at the end we will have a baby!"

Scorpius and I didn't go to lessons. We stayed in to room of requirement chatting about the baby, what we are going to do after the baby's born, how to tell people, what to do about school.
When the bell rang, we decided we should go and find Albus and tell him. We left and went to the Slytherin common room where we found Al and Sophie sat in the corner. We walked over to them. Al looked up a worried expression on his face. He stood up "where have you guys been! We've been so worried". "Shush Al, come up to our dorm, we can explain everything." Scorpius told him. Albus looked like he wanted to argue but followed Scorp. Sophie stood up and gave me a hug. "How did he take it?" She asked starting to wall up the stairs. "Really well actually, we are going to keep the baby". She smiled looking happy for me.
In the boys dorm Al was sitting on his bed, arms folded looking annoyed. "Albus, Rose it pregnant" Scorp winced as Albus stood. "You got my cousin pregnant?" He asked very quietly and slowly. I stood up and went to join Scorpius, I took his hand. "Yes Albus. But it wasn't just him. ". But Al was still looking at Scorpius. "What are you going to do about it.". Scorpius looked confused. "I'm going to be with her all the way. We are going to raise this baby together. I love Rose, Al". Al nodded seeming to understand that Scorp was going to stand my me. "Right are we all good now? Because I'm staving" The others looked at me and laughed but headed towards the door none the less.
At dinner Al was quiet, but didn't seem angry at us. When we finished dinner we went our separate ways. Al and Scorp went to the dungeons and Soph and I went up to our dorm. I was feeling so emotionally drained. It had been a rough couple of days.
