''Her name is Shenzi.''

''Shenzi...'' Jasiri repeats...it sounds familiar.

''Isn't she the one that helped Scar...''

''She is the one that had her pack helped Scar kill the king and then lived in the pride lands for a while. But they ate too much and the pride lands were turning into a waste land. They were driven away when Simba returned.''

''What will happen? Will they attack us?''

''We got word from the vultures that Shenzi is coming towards us to sort things out. I need you to be on your best behaviour. I hope we can evade a full scale fight.''

Jelani and Jasiri look at each other nervously.

''Leader!'' A male hyena walks towards them.

''It seems they have arrived.''

The leader, Jasiri, Jelani follow the male hyena to where the whole clan has gathered. In front of them is Shenzi who looks bored, a small part of her clan but many more than their own clan, and Janja who is glaring at them.

Jasiri's leader walks towards Shenzi and bows as she apologizes and says they will do anything to not have to fight since she doesn't want to risk her clan get hurt.

Shenzi eyes Jasiri and Jelani. '' So you guys are the ones that have given my son so much trouble?''

''Mosty it was Jasiri.'' Jelani tries to save herself.

Jasiri glares at her. ''Coward.''

''So are these two girls the candidates to lead this pack in the future?''

Their leader nods.

''Have you already chosen?''

The leader shakes her head.

Shenzi says that Jelani and Jasiri should fight to decide and they do Jasiri wins. Than Shenzi tells Janja and Jasiri to fight. Jasiri wins using her intelligence.

''It wouldn't be good to have such a bad blood between our to clans right? It would be better to let the past be the past and continue forwards. We will combine them then. My son does need a mate after all. Jasiri can lead the clan after my death with Janja at her side. She has proven herself after all and a hyena pack is led by a female. I was already searching for a mate for him and this makes it all convenient.''

So that was all I had plannend. So Jasiri and Janja spend more time together because they will have to lead the clan together. During that time they fall in love and in the end they happily together lead both clans. The end.
