The day is Friday and Nishikata is getting ready to go on a fishing date with Takagi when suddenly he gets a text message from Takagi it read.
+ Messages begin:
+ Takagi: Hey
+ Nishikata: Hey
+ Takagi: Should we meet up at our usual spot and walk to the place together or just meet their?
+ Nishikata: We can meet up at our usual spot and walk their and also do you have a fishing rod and stuff to go fishing and stuff?
+ Takagi: Yes I do why do you ask?
+ Nishikata: I just wanted to make sure I didn't have to bring extra stuff with me
+ Takagi: Okay
+ Messages over:
+ Nishikata finish packing his things in his fishing backpack and put it on went down stairs and said goodbye to his parents and went to the usual meeting spot that Takagi and Nishikata would go to if they were walking to school. Then when Nishikata got their he notice that Takagi isn't here so he thought that she was hiding in one of the bushes to scare him. Then he check the bushes and no one was their. Then he realized she could be way slower than him and he should probably text Takagi to see if she's on her way as he took out his phone he notice what the time was it was 30 mins from when they were suppose to meet up. Then he receives a text from Takagi saying
+ Messaging Begin:
+ Takagi: You arrived 30 mins before we are suppose to meet up didn't you
+ Nishikata: What no I didn't
+ Takagi: Oh really. Then text me a pic where you are right now
+ Nishikata: Nah I rather not do that + Takagi: Why is that I wonder is it b/c you are actually their and don't want to admit defeat or is it you are actually home and you just don't want to take a pic of yourself b/c your room is a mess. I wonder which one it is.
+ Niahikata: I'm telling you I'm home and my room is not a mess it's just that I don't want to take a pic
+ Takagi: Oh really then why can I see you right now at the meeting spot
+ Nishikata: What I have no clue what your talking about
+ Takagi: Oh really then turn around right now and you will see me
+ Nishikata turns around and see's nothing
+ Nishikata their was nothing
+ Takagi: Take a pic of what's behind you right now and text it to me
+ Nishikata: Ok I will
+ Nishikata takes a pic of what's right behind him and sends it to Takagi and then he realized that he fell right into her trap
+ Takagi: Wow you must have done some remodeling b/c that looks nothing like your room or your house
+ Nishikata: Um I left as you texted me so I've been texting and and walking to our spot that we usually meet up at
+ Takagi: Oh really then why do is see you from a bushing seeing you on the bench this whole entire time
+ Nishikata: What! I check the bushes when I got here 15 mins ago + Takagi: look right behind you
+ Messages ended:
+ Nishikata reads the text message as if she was right behind him telling him what the text message says. Then he turns around and see's Takagi just standing their with a teasing smile
+ Nishikata: How long have you been their!?
+ Takagi: About the same time as you have been here and texting me. You know you didn't have to lie to me I mean I never lie to you.
+ Nishikata: But you said you were still at your house
+ Takagi: One I didn't say that and two you never ask if I was here.
+ Nishikata: I guess your right but you could have told me that you where here we could have gone early or do something else while we wait
+ Takagi: Would have wanted me to tell you that I was here or would you want to have that 15min chat by texting
+ Nishikata: Probably would have wanted that 15min chat with you. I mean it save us a lot of time from having to do something for like 30 mins.
+ Takagi: Yah I guess that's true well we have 5mins we could walk their now or kill 5 mins then walk their
+ Nishikata: I guess we can walk their
+ Takagi: Want to hold hand on the way their?
+ Nishikata: Yah sure
+ So then Nishikata grabbed Takagi's hand and then they walk to the river were Nishikata first grab her hand and saved her from getting wet to go fishing then their real date finally begun.
