Hey everybody! Here's the new chapter.

PERCY

Annabeth drives well, he thought as he scrolled through his phone's inbox nonchalantly. His mom had gone to one of her club dinners. She had offered to stay back, but Percy had urged her to go.

"Mom" he had said, "You also need a change sometimes." But now sitting here, he was unable to think of anything to do. And his finger hurt like hell.

"It's just a soft tissue injury" the doctor had said when he and Annabeth had gone to the hospital in her insistence, "But the inter-phalangeal fracture that you had last year is pocking back its head. But it won't take long. Five days at the max, Percy."

So he couldn't play x-box now and he was getting damn bored. His phone rang and he picked it up as fast as his reflexes allowed him.

"Hello Percy" a girl said at the other end. A voice he knew well.

"Hey Reyna" Percy greeted her back.

"Um, are you free now?" she asked. A little but reluctantly.

"Yeah. I was busy getting bored." He replied sarcastically.

"Great then!" Reyna exclaimed. "You can join us for dinner, right?"

"Depends on who's we" Percy replied.

"Annabeth and I were going to have a dinner that'd help us know each other better." She told him.

"Ohk" Percy replied, Annabeth. He thought. Blonde curls, grey eyes, slim figure-, wait! Why am I thinking about her?!

"You two live close, right?" Reyna confirmed over the phone.

"Yeah"

"Okay then. Pick her up in 15 minutes. Ok?"

"I-uh- actually can't drive" Percy scratched the back of his neck with his left hand which made him wince once again.

"Why?" Reyna inquired, "I hope everything's alright"

"Yeah. Yeah." Percy replied quickly, "It's just a soft tissue injury. Thanks to basketball."

"Oh" Reyna seemed to relax, "Then I will tell her to pick you up in 15 minutes. Ok?"

"Will do." He replied as he got up and told Frenchie not to cook him anything.

"But I already did." Frenchie complained.

"Well then" Percy said, "Make sure that you and Uncle Maxwell have a good dinner."

"May I ask where you are going?" Frenchie said teasingly.

"It's nothing" Percy blushed.

"Is it a date?" Frenchie dug deeper, "I can tell from the way you are blushing."

"Uh, something like that?" Percy walked to his room quickly.

Annabeth came 15 minutes later. She's really punctual. Percy thought.

"Hey Annabeth" he greeted her as he walked and stood next to her car's window.

"Hi Percy" she smiled. She has a perfect smile, wait, what?!

"Are you going to come in?" she disturbed his thoughts.

"Uh" Percy was busy thinking about someone, "Yeah" he got in.

He couldn't help but notice that she was wearing a grey one-piece which exposed her legs. Get hold of yourself Jackson!

"So" he started, "Looks like Jason returned your car soon."

"Yeah" Annabeth didn't take her eyes off the road. "He sent his chauffeur"

"I see" Percy said, "The seat's really comfortable though, I gotta say that" he relaxed himself in the seat.

"There's nothing like Bentley" Annabeth smiled once again, but Percy closed his eyes and leaned back.

ANNABETH

Percy closed his eyes and leaned back into the seat. He must be tired, she thought, and judging from the time when he had accidentally used his left hand to try to open her car's door and winced, the pain wasn't something ignorable.

Percy as wearing a simple black shirt on a cream coloured chino. The tight shirt hugged lightly to his lean body. Oh, how I am willing to give up anything to just hug him once.

He must have sensed the car coming to a halt as his eyes snapped open as soon as they reached the place.

"We are here" Annabeth stated the obvious. Percy and Annabeth started walking towards the entrance after she handed the official her car key.

They found Reyna without any problems. She was wearing a black sleeveless dress. She's good looking. The rest of the dinner was talks and stories and laughs.

But Annabeth didn't fail to notice the way Reyna was looking at her Percy. He's not your, Chase. A voice spoke inside her, not yet.

Even Percy looked at her like that a few times, but then did his best to ignore them. Might be she has a crush on him, she thought. Of course, why else invite him here? Or might be she just wants to know us all.

Whatever the case, Percy was no stranger to such girls and had experience handling them. I have got nothing to worry about, she told herself, though this time, she didn't feel as confident as before.

Snap out of it, Annabeth! Stop overthinking. It was nearly midnight by the time they were done.

They walked out together and waited for the valet parker to bring their cars. Their cars arrived one behind the other.

Reyna owned an Audi A6. But queerly, as soon as her car came in view, something made Percy glare at her. Not a serious one, just a playful one, but a glare nonetheless.

She just smiled at him. "I will deal with you later" was all that Percy said.

Annabeth and Percy drove home. Percy was narrating her a story about how he had sprained his ankle last year. Even the story did not make it seem any less painful.

"You really have got a lot of your body parts damaged, Percy" Annabeth commented.

"What can I say?" Percy laughed, "It's like a habit now." Even Annabeth laughed.

"Hey Annabeth," Percy grew serious, "I wanted to tell you something."

"What's it?" she asked, "Tell me"

"It's just that-" Percy was hesitating, he looked even cuter while hesitating, "Uh duh! Nothing, just let it be."

"Tell me" Annabeth said, "What's wrong."

"Nah" Percy waived his hand, "It's nothing. Just leave it."

"Percy" Annabeth turned to face him as she stopped at a traffic signal, "You can tell me. Is there a problem?"

"Uh" Percy hesitated even more, "Something like that?"

So… what do you think? Will Percy tell Annabeth about his feelings? Or will he not? But the question is, should he? Well, feel free to review and lemme know your views.

The next chapter will be out as soon as possible. Till then, Stay Home, Stay Safe and Keep Writing.
