Hi, everyone! I've been working very hard on this story and finally managed to write this piece. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did while writing it. Please feel free to review, I would love to hear your thoughts.
Disclaimer: I don't own My Hero Academia or any of its characters. Mizuki, however, is my own creation.
Let's start with the story, shall we?*
Chapter 10
The next day…
The curriculum of U.A. High's hero course started off with a short homeroom session, followed by six periods of which the students only had four before lunch. The classes were regular and each subject was taught by a Hero,
Hizashi Yamada
Hero Name: Present Mic
Quirk: Voice
Their classes started in the morning off with English, given by Present Mic. Mizuki's opinion was that he was much too loud for the morning classes with his eccentric persona. He tried to keep everyone's attention why often posing and kept his tone in excitement.
Nemuri Kayama
Hero Name: Midnight (18+ Only Hero)
Quirk: Somnambulist
The daring and seducing female Pro Hero gave Modern Hero Art History, which was one of Mizuki's favourite subjects. Unfortunately, it was the biggest perverts in the class' favourite class as well. Namely Kaminari and Mineta.
Ken Ishiyama
Hero Name: Cementoss
Quirk: Cement
Then there were the pro heroes Cementoss and Ectoplasm who gave Modern Literature and Mathematics respectively. All the teachers gave the subjects in their own unique way, entertaining the students.
Lunch was at the main cafeteria, where the students could buy gourmet food for reasonable prices. The food was served by the Cook Hero, Lunch Rush. The quality food was amazing and the spaciousness of the cafeteria was relaxing.
Mizuki sat down across from her brother as she put down her tray. He had been bored throughout all the classes, his hand lazily taking notes. He acted like a delinquent but she knew that he was quite intelligent when he wanted to be.
"Things are pretty normal here, huh? Besides getting classes from Pro Heroes, the subjects are ordinary. Here I was hoping for something a bit more exhilarating," Mizuki asked as she plunger the straw through her juice box.
"They're damn boring," Katsuki bluntly stated and took a bite of his meal, Mizuki chuckling. "They should just get on with Hero Basic Training already. They're wasting my time." Mizuki finished taking a sip of her juice and placed it in front of her.
"It is still school, you know?" Mizuki pointed out and he merely muttered a 'whatever' under his breath. Mizuki rolled her eyes and then caught sight of Izuku freaking out about the Lunch Hero that stood in front of him. She resisted a smile, knowing her brother was looking.
Things seemed to be fine between them. She said what she wanted to say and thanks to Inko, she was able to get rid of her negative emotions. Katsuki, however, was a walking landmine ever since she woke up this morning. He was out for blood and it concerned her.
"Hey! Bakugou! Mizuki!" Mizuki was snapped out of her thoughts at the familiar voice, red hair making its appearance. "Mind if I sit with you?" Eijiro asked as he came waltzing over towards them with a dazzling, blinding smile and his food tray.
"Hell no-""Sure." Katsuki have his sister an incredulous look that she was unfazed by. She could feel his irritancy increasing, the vein that palpitated from underneath his skin visible. She threatened him with her eyes, the male biting back his remark.
"Thanks!" Eijiro said, sitting down next to Mizuki, his grin still plastered on his face. "Man, I was so surprised that today's classes were normal. Though, it's kinda cool that our teachers are Pro Heroes."
Mizuki smirked. "We are in the prestigious U.A., but I agree. Though, I feel like some of the Pro Heroes should rather stick with their true occupation," Mizuki pointed out, recalling the class filled with drool when Midnight gave class.
"You think so?" He was completely oblivious. "Well, I can't wait for Hero Basic Training after lunch! I wonder what we're going to do…" He trailed off as Mizuki continued with her meal, a small smile on her lips that had Katsuki's brows furrow.
What the hell was going on?
First off, they had known each other since the first day of school and acted all chummy. He observed the interaction but made no assumptions. That was until Weird Ass Shitty Hair interrupted their lunch by sitting next to Mizuki, all happy and grinning like an idiot.
Katsuki didn't like it at all. Not one bit. What made matters worse was that Mizuki was conversing freely with him AND she had a smile on her face. Not her usual intimidating smirk. A genuine smile accompanied with an unusual softness gleaming in her eyes.
"What's your favourite subject, Bakugou?" The redhead asked, bringing Katsuki out of his thoughts. He saw two pairs of eyes on him, clearly waiting for a reply to a question he barely even heard. He scoffed and stood up.
"Whatever."
"W-wait, where are you-""Leave him be. He's been in a bad mood since waking up this morning," Mizuki mused as she finished her meal. Katsuki gave her a glare and the stomped off angrily, Eijiro watching him with a perplexed expression.
"Bakugou's intense, isn't he?"
"Mm? That's how he normally is," Mizuki pointed out as she stood up with her empty tray. "I can understand that he comes forth as an asshole, and he is." Eijiro sweat dropped at her statement and then saw her warm facial expression.
"But, there's nothing more reassuring than him having your back," Mizuki stated, a peculiar gleam passing through her eyes. Eijiro stared at her, surprised at the warmth and respect that came from the girl.
"You admire him a lot, huh?" Mizuki blushed at his statement. "I think that's really cool. I'm an only child so I don't know how it feels to have a sibling, but it means something like that, right?" He said and Mizuki paused before snickering.
"Yeah…" Mizuki glanced towards her brother's retreating figure, his backside giving her a feeling of security. She then huffed and glanced at the redhead. "Wanna head to class?" She asked and he nodded. She watched in astonishment as he polished his food and hastily stand up to walk with her.
"Let's go!" He beamed and Mizuki bit back a chuckle. He was darn cute, his happiness coming off in waves. She walked off and put her tray with the rest, Eijiro hot on her heels as he followed her and eagerly joined her side.
"I've wanted to ask you this before, Mizuki. Why did you want to come to U.A. to become a hero?" Eijiro asked as he slowed his pace to match the ash blonde female. Mizuki's face faltered for a moment. She averted her eyes to the ground, her eyes swirling with a bunch of emotions.
"There was…an incident." Eijiro's lips pressed into a straight line when noticed the seriousness of the topic. "The villain was winning, gaining victory and the heroes? They merely stood there. They were stuck, unable to help those in danger. They were limited with what they could do," Mizuki said.
She then clenched her fists, her red eyes shining with determination and Eijiro's eyes widening in amazement. "I want to be a hero without limitations. I don't want to be the one standing on the side, waiting for back-up. I want to be limitless," Mizuki said and then huffed.
"It's a bit over the top, though."
"Not at all! I think it's really manly of you!" Mizuki looked at the male with a raised eyebrow, a small grin on his lips as he looked down at his hands. "I think it's a very aspiring goal to have," he said and Mizuki noticed the brief doubt in his eyes.
"What about you? Care to share why the manly-man wants to become a hero? You know, besides beating up robots and acting all cool about it," Mizuki teased him with a wink. He blushed and laughed lightly.
"It wasn't that cool." Don't underrate yourself. "I want to become a chivalrous hero like Crimson Riot! I don't want to regret anything. I want to become a hero who can protect!" He said while holding up a fist.
Mizuki felt her cheeks heat up as she observed the male next to her. She felt her heart skip a beat and gaped lightly. She caught herself ogling at him and slammed her hand onto her mouth, eyes wide in disbelief. As soon as she felt his eyes on her, she cleared her throat.
"Crimson Riot, you say? If I can remember correctly, he's one of the older generation heroes who was known for his reckless heroism. He had a hardening type of Quirk, much like you do," Mizuki tapped her chin and jumped slightly when Eijiro's eyes practically sparkled as he grabbed her shoulders.
"You know him?!" Mizuki felt her face heat up once more at the close proximity and managed to nod slowly. "Man, you really know your heroes! But yeah, I want to be like him one day. What about you, Mizuki? Who's your favourite hero?" Eijiro asked and Mizuki snapped out of her haze.
Eijiro let go of her shoulders and she nearly let out a breath, her heart hammering in her ears. She blinked a few times and then shrugged. "Don't have one." Eijiro gave her an unbelieving look as he gaped in shock.
"You're kidding!"
"No, I'm serious," Mizuki deadpanned and crossed her arms over her chest. "In all honesty, no hero has ever made such an impact on me. I know everyone loves All Might and I admired him for his actions but I don't have a favourite. I guess I'm still waiting."
Mizuki looked ahead of them and saw their classroom near, the bell ringing throughout the halls. She felt a bit saddened that their conversation had to end and felt her heart give a squeeze when she saw him stare at her with his big red eyes.
Three seconds of insane bravery!
"So, don't let me wait for too long, Red," Mizuki told him, his eyes widening as he was blown away by her words. She had a small blush in her cheeks, her crimson eyes making his heart flutter and his body heat up.
Mizuki then rushed into class without another word. Eijiro stood still, his hand outstretched to stop her, only a choking sound leaving his mouth. He was still trying to process what she said, his lips quivering.
"I'M FIRED UP!"
Mizuki stopped before she sat down by her desk, everyone else jumping in surprise at the male's shout. They murmured among each other while she smiled. She sat down, her heart still hammering in her chest and a warmth spreading through her body.
Katsuki's brows knitted together when he was exposed to a very unwelcoming, giddy feeling from his sister. He gave her a suspicious glance, his eyes briefly wide when he saw the dorkish smile she had on her face. It was followed by a loud Eijiro in the hallway, shouting that he was fired up.
Katsuki didn't like it.
After Lunch, they were scheduled for Hero Basic Training. Mizuki had a feeling that if anyone came near her brother, he would blow their asses up. She knew that better than anyone but she couldn't do anything about it. Katsuki's beef with Izuku was something they had to sort out on their own.
Unfortunately, that meant someone getting hurt and she had an idea that it would be Izuku. Katsuki's pride was compromised with Izuku having a potentially strong quirk. Mizuki could only hope that he didn't make too much damage.
"I am…coming through the door like a normal person!" All Might came bursting through the large door of the classroom wearing a signature Silver Age costume, everyone's eyes lighting up. The all-time number one hero was here and their teacher for Hero Basic Training. It was damn exciting.
Hero Name: All Might
Quirk: Unknown strength type
Mizuki smirked at the male's appearance, the excitement of her brother making her expect him to jump up and down. All Might was the hero that both Izuku and Katsuki admired. He was the one person that Katsuki was striving to beat and surpass.
"I teach Hero Basic Training. It is a subject where you train in different ways to learn the basics of being a hero. You'll make the most units of this subject! Let's get right into it! This is what we'll do today- Combat Training!" All Might didn't waste any time with his class, that was for sure.
Mizuki chuckled at her brother's grin. This was the first official hero training and it was only their second day. She had to admit. She was pretty pumped to see what was planned for them. This was their first step in becoming heroes.
She felt the need to look at Eijiro but resisted. She said something embarrassing to him in the hall. She wasn't going to take any of it back, her pride not letting her. However, she knew that if she saw his face now, it would only make her incomprehensive.
"To go with that training are these!" Suitcases came out of drawers on the wall. "Costumes made based on your Quirk registrations and requests you sent in before school started!" He said and Mizuki nearly squealed from excitement. She was going to put on her own designed costume!
"After you change, gather in Ground Beta!" All Might finished and the entire class nodded. Mizuki stood up and practically rushed towards her suitcase. She took the suitcase with the designated number concurring her seating and then went straight to the women's changing room.
She had been planning this hero costume when she was little. She made several drafts in all of her designing books. Only recently did she make a final design after doing research for days on end, no sleep or eating until she was done.
She opened up the suitcase and grinned. She pulled out her costume, her fingers trailing over the stretchy, yet tough spandex. Her hands travelled towards the sides on the costume, the orange traveling down the arms, legs, over the breasts and sides.
She didn't waste any more time and put on the spandex without further gawking. She zipped the costume up from the middle towards her neckline, leaving the zip open slightly. She then pulled on her combat boots with red lacing, the material comfortable and heat resistant.
She put on her gloves, her entire hand covered and, on her wrists, she had a weapon circled around, resembling a medium sized grenade. She looked at the very small tubes attached in the costume and blinked. They actually included the feature?
She then pulled out a belt that had a bunch of smaller grenades attached. She put it around her middle and as soon as she clicked it in place, the small tubes on her body lit up, glowing a faint orange-red colour.
"Whoa, that's so cool!" Ochako exclaimed when she caught sight of what happened, everyone's attention on Mizuki. "Your outfit looks so badass, Mizuki-san!" She complimented, and the other girls nodded.
"Yeah! It looks hardcore! What are those lights for though?"
"Look, there's grenades on her belt!"
"I feel so plain…"
Mizuki was overwhelmed by the attention she sudden received from all the girls as they observed her outfit. She felt a blush creep onto her cheeks and swallowed thickly. She wasn't used to this attention at all.
"T-Thanks. It took a while to design everything perfectly for it to be combat ready. The glowing lights changes colour when my wrist weapons are fully charged for use. The spandex material is heat resistant and the grenades each have a different function," Mizuki explained, everyone giving her blank looks.
"W-Wow, you put a lot of thought in this," Ochaco said in a surprised tone and then looked down at her outfit with a small frown. "Mine came out to be a bit skin tight. It's a little embarrassing." She rubbed the back of her head blushingly.
Mizuki touched the material, pulling slightly at it. She looked over the outfit, her eyes taking in everything she saw. Ochaco and the other girls stared at her as she inspected the outfit, not sure what was happening.
"This material is tear resistant and comfortable despite it being skin tight. They made it from light weight material. It should aid when using your Quirk and not cause a burden if you have to make it lighter as well," Mizuki concluded, stepping back with a nod.
There was an awkward silence in the room and caused her to flush deep crimson. "S-Sorry! I didn't mean to invade your space!" She stuttered and apologized. She went off in her designing nerd mode without even realizing it. Stupid Mizuki.
"Do mine next! Do mine next!" What?
"You're much calmer than I expected you'd be, Mizuki-chan," the girl with the frog quirk spoke up and Mizuki looked at me. "I expected you'd be more like your brother." Mizuki imagined her aggressive brother and chuckled. It was to be expected.
"Let's say I'm the more relaxed twin," Mizuki stated and some of the girls nearly chocked at the new information. They knew that the two resembled each other but they hadn't expected them to be twins.
"Well, it's relieving to know you're the nice twin," Ochaco said with a small smile and the others nodded, Mizuki sweat dropping. Katsuki barely did anything productive and they were already branding him was the bad twin. Poor guy, but she couldn't blame them.
"I'm Tsuyu Asui by the way. You can call me Tsu-chan," the dark green female spoke up, her oval-shaped eyes blinking. Her hero costume fitted her abilities, the colour resembling that of both her favourite colour and of a frog.
Tsuyu Asui
Age: 15
Quirk: Frog
"I'm Mina Ashido! Nice to meet you!" The light pink skinned female introduced herself, her bright yellow irises shining in the black sclera. Her face was framed by short hair, fluffy and unruly with a pleasant pink colour lighter than that of her skin.
Mina Ashido
Age: 15
Quirk: Acid
Mizuki was taken back as everyone introduced themselves to her. She learned each one's names and connected it towards their costumes. Making it easier to remember. She felt her hand twitch and calmed herself down. She would draw everything later on.
"We should head to Ground Beta before Sensei All Might comes to look for us," Yaoyorozu Momo spoke up as she finished putting her hair up. Turned out, she was one of the students who came through recommendation.
Yaoyorozu Momo
Age: 15
Quirk: Creation
Mizuki grunted and grabbed her mask, putting it over her eyes and zipping up the last of her outfit. She closed her case and put it away in her locker before exiting with the rest of the girls. This was it. She was on her way now.
"They say the clothes make the man, young men and ladies. Be fully aware that from now on, you're heroes!" All Might spoke up as everyone finally arrived, all suited up for the combat training that lay ahead of them.
"That's great, everyone. You all look cool! Now, shall we begin, you zygotes?" All Might asked and Mizuki smirked. She was ready for this. She caught sight of her brother's costume, her cheeks flushing as she grinned. He looked damn cool even if she had to say so herself.
His hero costume composed of a tight, black, sleeveless tank top that formed a V-neck with an orange section that ran down his sides. He wore a metallic neck brace that didn't look as bad as Mizuki thought it would. His sleeves reached from within his large grenadelike-gauntlets to his biceps and he wore a belt that resembled her own with grenades.
He wore baggy pants with knee guards, blow which the sports black, knee-high combat boots with orange soles and eyelets that he always wore. His mask was jagged and black, going around his eyes, a large, orange-rimmed flare shape protruding from each side.
"You look great, Mister Number One. Could I please have the contact details of your designer?" Mizuki mused as she peeked passed her brother's arm. He glanced down at her and rolled her eyes playfully.
"Yeah, yeah, it doesn't suck too bad." His eyes travelled over her outfit, his smirk widening into a grin. "I guess that week of hungering yourself out payed off. You look decent." It was his way of a compliment that made her chuckle.
"You probably already freaked out about the weird clown costumes the others were wearing." She flushed deep crimson as his words and he snorted a laugh. He knew her way too well. Of course, she would become all nerdy about the hero outfits.
"M-Mizuki?!" Eijiro's voice reached her ears and she turned to look at the male. Her eyes falling onto his hero costume almost immediately. He wore two gear shaped shoulder pads, dark red in colour and a jagged sash joining the one in his left to the right side of his belt which had a 'R' set into its centre.
Below that, he wore baggy black pants and a half cape with a ripped hem, also sporting black boots and multiple thick rings going around his calves. His chest was completely bare and he had a wielded guard around his face, reaching from above his hairline to below his jaw, an extra piece going over the bridge of his jaw.
What is it with the boys and their black baggy pants? Is it fashion for them? It doesn't look bad but still. Also, his bare chest was a good call for his hardening to be unrestricted by clothing. The costume he's wearing is more for a manliness look. The R probably stands for Riot.
"Um, Mizuki, are you listening? You look a bit zoned out there," Kirishima asked as he waved his hand in front of his face. Mizuki snapped out of her trance, her brother giving her a smug look that made her blush.
"S-Sorry! I was uh-analysing your costume…I guess I got too caught up in it but you look robust. It's plain but it says enough about your gutsiness," Mizuki told him and he grinned, putting his hands on his hips.
"Thanks! I was going for looking as manly as possible!" He declared and laughed proudly. He then looked at her and took in her costume, finding it quite daring. It was a body tight spandex showing every curve perfectly and causing him to blush a little.
Her physique resembled her brother greatly. There were differences with her smaller toned muscles and curved feminine body. He wanted to scold himself for eyeing certain parts of her. This was a hero course for damn sake! What was he doing?
Mizuki barely noticed his intense gaze over her own costume. She found her eyes taking in his muscular form and noting that he had strengthened himself more since the entrance exam. His muscles were much more-Wait, why was she staring at his muscles?
"Y-You look great! Love the grenades!" He laughed nervously, rubbing the back of his head in an innocent gesture. Kaminari leaned in, whispering 'she looks super-hot' in his ear, only to have his blush deepen, his eyes glaring at the male next to him.
"Thanks, I'm glad you like it," Mizuki said with a smile and felt a few eyes on her. One of which was Kaminari and the other one being Mineta. She gave them each a killer gaze, the two male quick to avert their eyes away from her, whistling as if nothing happened.
She then heard Ochaco's voice as she called Deku and raised an eyebrow. She called Izuku, Deku? She made a mental note to ask about it later on and merely observed his costume for now. She blinked a few times and stifle a laugh.
His turquoise coloured costume gave a very down to earth look but there were things that she immediately recognized. The big ears on the top resembled All Might's hair. The guard he had over his mouth that resembled a smile resembled the number one hero's smile. Overall, it was a very nerdy get-up and she loved it.
"Now, it's time for combat training!"
"Sir!" Iida's hand shot up in the air and Mizuki's mood soured despite his costume being creative giving him a streamline and versatile suit of full armour. "This is a battle centre from the entrance exam so will be conducting urban battles again?"
"No, we're going to move ahead two steps!" All Might held up two fingers. "Most of the time, fighting villain takes place outside, but if you look at the total number, atrocious villains appear indoors at a higher rate," All Might stated.
"Imprisonment, house arrest, backroom deals- In this society filled with heroes, truly intelligent villains hide in the shadows! For this class, you'll be split into villains and heroes and fight 2-on-2 indoor battles. This is a real battle to understand hero basic training!" He announced.
"However, the key this time is that there's no robot you can just beat up." Mizuki resisted a scoff. She would beat up anyone if they stood in her way and Katsuki was the same. Robot or villain. It was all the same.
"Can we beat them up anyway?" Katsuki asked and Mizuki briefly closed her eyes as she smirked. They were even thinking about it simultaneously. Hopefully, they won't let them team up otherwise the other team wouldn't stand a chance.
"Now, listen here," All Might said as he grabbed a script. "The situation is that the villains have hidden a nuclear weapon somewhere in their hideout. The heroes are trying to dispose of that. The heroes need to catch the villains or get the nuclear weapon back in the allocated time."
"The villains need to protect the nuclear weapon the entire time or catch the heroes. Teams and opponents will be determined by drawing lots!" All Might pulled out a box and Mizuki raised an eyebrow. Interesting choice of picking the teams indeed.
"I see. Pros often have to create makeshift teams with heroes from other agencies, so maybe that's why?" Izuku explained to Iida and Mizuki smugly grinned. Looks like Mister Idol Student didn't think further than his helmet.
"Let's do this quickly!"
Mizuki went to pull out a ball from the box and stepped away, looking down on the letter. Team I. She glanced at her brother's ball. Team D. She frowned when she saw that he was in a team with Iida and then smirked evilly. He was going to be killed.
She saw Izuku flushing as Ochako smiled at him, her proximity much too close for him to handle. Team A. They were in the same team. She looked down at her ball and frowned. With who was she paired then?
"Hey, Mizuki, who did you get?" Mina leaned in around her body and Mizuki showed the female her ball. "Team I, huh? I'm in Team E with Aoyama over there," she pointed at the sparkling male in armour.
Yuga Aoyama
Age: 15
Quirk: Navel Laser
He had long blonde hair that was flattened down, spiked and stuck out to the sides at the bottom. His costume consisted of a bluish-black body suit, over which he wore a suit of metallic lavender and gave the vibe of a knight. Unfortunately, on this outfit was knightly about the male.
"Oh… Looks…interesting…? Do you know who I'm with?" Mizuki asked, a frown on her lips as she watched the male doing a bunch of different poses. Rather Mina than her. She didn't have any tolerance for people like him.
"Mmm…" Mina looked around until her eyes caught sight of a male looking around in search of someone. "He has the name one as you," Mina said and pointed at the blonde male, Mizuki raising an eyebrow.
"Thank you." Mina gave her a wink with a thumbs up and Mizuki walked towards the male. His costume was a plain karate gi, tied with a black belt and its collar was partially lined with fur. It was plain and simple, much like his quirk.
"Are you in Team I?" Mizuki asked the blonde as she held up her yellow coloured ball. The male looked down to his and then showed the identical letter. "Nice to meet you, I'm Mizuki. May we have a good match together." Mizuki held out her hand towards him.
Mashirao Ojiro
Age: 15
Quirk: Tail
He was taken back by her actions and nodded vaguely. "Same to you. I'm Mashirao Ojiro, nice to meet you," he said and took her hand. He received a firm shake and paled slightly. Of all the people he had to team up with, he didn't expect being teamed up with the aggressive male's sister and the one who came in first at the practical exam.
"The first teams to fight will be…" All Might gained everyone's attention once again as he put each hand in a different box labelled 'hero' and 'villain. "…these guys!" He said and held up the letter. Team D, villains and team A, heroes.
Katsuki vs. Izu-kun. Shit.
"Everyone else head towards the monitor room," All Might ordered and the students exclaimed in response. Mizuki felt a heavy feeling reside within her stomach as she saw Izuku and Katsuki gaze at each other, her brother's glare evident.
She didn't know what to do. She couldn't tell her brother to not hurt Izuku and she couldn't tell Izuku to not piss off her brother. They were going to do what they were going to do. This time, she wasn't going to pick sides. Mizuki sighed and walked between them, not giving any of them a glance.
"I'll be watching you."
Izuku and Katsuki's eyes widened at her words, each one interpreting it differently than the other. Mizuki could only hope that this fight wouldn't end badly and that the rules applied would keep them from killing each other.
"Man, I'm glad that I don't have to go up against that Bakugou guy or in the same team." Mizuki ignored the statements of those behind her, not sparing them any comments. She did however, throw them a dirty look, causing them to shut up quickly.
Mizuki stood in the monitor room as she looked at the screens showing the two teams, her brother scowling at his teammate. This was not going to end well. She could feel her brother overflow with anger. If he let his emotions get the better of him, then he was missing the point in coming to U.A.
"Now, let's start the indoor person-to-person combat training with Team A and Team D!" All Might announced over the microphone. "Okay, everyone, you all should think as well," he told them as they stood in front of the monitors.
Mizuki frowned and crossed her arms over her chest. If she knew Katsuki well enough, she would say that he was going to go off on his own. Izuku was his target. Izuku knew Katsuki was coming after him and was planning a scheme to get past him to avoid any possible fighting since he didn't stand a chance.
Even if he did have a Quirk.
