"Jack, I know there's something new about the billboard." said Captain Ham.
They are at the briefing room discussing about the new mission regarding conflict against the purgers. Jack flips the papers and shows a slideshow of the legendary hammer.
"Here is the hammer. Thor's hammer." said Jack.
"Cool." said Shoutmon. "I can get one of these."
"You're saying is that the purgers get the hands of Thor's hammer and use it to kill people with a single blow?" asked Captain Ham.
"Correct." replied Jack.
"Why's that, Alex?" asked Captain Ham.
"It's the life of the books." said Alex.
"Suit up." said Captain Ham.
At the embarkation room, Ferrel and his men are presented with a chest containing the symbols required to go to Rome, Italy.
In Rome, the villagers are building the statue. The billboard gets activated. Ferrel and his men enter the stadium where the statue that they built is a scanner that sucks in intruders. Ferrel and Alex along with Shoutmon were sucked in.
"Ferrel!" cried Jack.
"No!" cried Pete.
"We can't summon a Digimon here." said Miss May.
"We can go back and get reinforcements." suggested Jack.
"Too risky." said Miss May.
The villagers led by Alan show up.
"My name is Jack, this is my friend Pete." said Jack.
"My name is Alan." said Alan.
Meanwhile, at the cave, Ferrel, Alex and Shoutmon wake up.
"Where am I?" asked Shoutmon. "How's the worm?"
Alex shows the worm inside his abdomen.
"It's fine." said Alex.
An ancient god shows up.
"Who goes there?!" asked the god.
"Ferrel and Alex are trapped in the cave. Can you help us?" asked Ferrel.
At the village of Rome, a woman is seen hypnotizing a girl.
"No!" yelled Jack before pointing the gun at her.
A villager stops Jack from shooting her. She is actually healing an injury in her leg.
Sam and Pete summon Veemon, Hawkmon and Gatomon respectively for interrogation. Back at the cave, Ferrel summons Guilmon, Meicoomon and Impmon. Meicoomon drinks water from the well. Alex and Shoutmon found a dead rodent.
"Guys?" asked Meicoomon. "I think it's stinky in here."
Meicoomon and Impmon stopped drinking water. At the village, Sam, Pete and Jack along with Miss May talk about the way out.
"You see, Shoutmon is my ally." said Veemon who was summoned at the time. "Alex is his partner."
"And a man who has a worm similar to a chest burster." said Hawkmon.
"If the hammer drives through the chest, he dies and so be it." said the villager.
The villager chants an incantation.
"They say you speak the truth and they tell me…" said the villager. "Take me there."
"Go with Thor." said Alan.
"I must first consult the ruins." said the villager.
Meanwhile, Meicoomon and Impmon split up, with Guilmon put away.
"Impmon, take the lights out while I do my part." said Meicoomon.
Impmon performs Bada Boom on the chandelier. A monster wakes up.
"We should leave." said Impmon.
"Guys, we must get out of here, before the monster shows up." said Ferrel.
At the village, Miss May and her men are enjoying the fire. The villager and Alan starts some firewood. Back at the cave, Ferrel and Alex were discovered by the monster.
"Behind you." said Shoutmon.
The monster has appeared. Ferrel summons Impmon and Terriermon to perform a Double Bunny Blast on the monster. Terriermon then digivolves to Gargomon to peform an uppercut on the monster, killing him.
"Nice job." said Impmon. "Let's move before the monster comes back to life."
The monster's eye is glowing. At the highway, Alan and the villagers go to Thor with Miss May and her men. Back at the cave, Alex, Shoutmon and Ferrel continue to find a way out.
"I hear something." said Shoutmon.
"He's dead!" cried Ferrel.
"Follow me." said Alex.
At the destination, Alan found a road covered with snow.
"Alan, when my sister is cremated, you can tell Gaomon everything."
"Oh, alright." said Alan.
"You find her body and bring it here, I will tell the other Digimon all about it." said the villager.
At the cave, the same monster who was killed by Gargomon is revived.
"We should summon Impmon and Meicoomon." said Alex.
"Good idea." said Ferrel.
At the fountain, Miss May and her men is followed by Alan.
"I think we left Veemon under care." said Sam.
"He's right there, behind you." said Hawkmon, who is summoned at the time.
"I found the way, guys!" cried Alan.
Back at the cave, Ferrel, Alex and Shoutmon along with Impmon and Meicoomon continue to find a a way out.
"Your weapons can't kill me!" said the monster.
Meicoomon performs Terrier Tornado while Impmon peforms Fire Inferno to kill the monster once more. Meanwhile, Miss May and her men found the entrance to the cave. At the intersection, Alex and Shoutmon enter the exit, while Ferrel goes next only to be seriously injured by a knife.
"Ferrel, are you okay?" asked Meicoomon.
"I stepped on a knife." said Ferrel.
The same monster who was killed twice shows up.
"Why are you following me?" asked Impmon.
Ferrel summons Guilmon, Terriermon and Renamon to defeat the monster.
"I will take pleasure in killing all of you." said Renamon.
"Same here." said Guilmon.
"Who wants to aid Impmon and Meicoomon?" asked Terriermon.
They then help Impmon and Meicoomon defeat the monster.
"Maybe doing a triple digivolution will kill the monster maybe?" asked Ferrel.
"Maybe." said Terriermon.
The monster was finally killed. Miss May and her men reunite with Shoutmon, Alex and Ferrel. He then puts away all five Digimon all at once.
"Miss May, Jack, I know you found me." said Alex.
Ferrel gives Alex's staff to Jack and shoots it on the ceiling, deactivating the traps. Ferrel and his men leave the caves and returns home. They say goodbye to Alan and thank her for helping Ferrel and Alex find a way out of the cave. Jack gives her the box of Thor to Alan.
"Jack, you want to dial home before the rain starts?" asked Ferrel.
