Deakins shook the girl's hand, welcoming her with a warm smile.
Deakins looked at Alexandra.
She looked good!
Bobby had called her saying that maybe it would help her remember if she came to his workplace. Maybe all would come back to him or or less some details.
Bobby took the young woman's hand, guiding her to his desk, seating her there.
- This is your office!
Alex looked at Bobby, shaking his head in negation.
She did not recognize this place, nor even her office.
She turned her attention in front of her.
There was an office. She scrutinized him.
Something appeared!
There was the face of a man she seemed to know well, but it was blurry!
Why didn't even this man's face appear!
At night in his dreams a man called him. She turned around, saw him in the mist!
All she knew was that he was very tall, that he had the same ebony curls as Bobby and Molly. But there was also this badge she saw on him.
She stood up, followed closely by Bobby.
He never took off her and she was grateful!
She walked over to the desk, resting her hand on it.
Bobby watched her do it.
She had headed for her office!
As if she remembers something!
But he was suspicious, because it could be a false joy!
She opened the drawer, pulled out the badge, stroking it!
- I know it belongs to someone I care about! His gaze clouded with sadness. But I can't see who it is!
Bobby watched her do it.
What could he say to her?
Is this my office? That badge you're stroking and mine?
She didn't remember him, she remembered how much she cared for him without knowing it was him.
It broke his heart!
As if Alexandra had read his mind, she put her hand on his, gazing into Bobby's hazel eyes!
- Don't be sad, please!
How he loved his little inspector!
She was the one who was hurt and fragile and despite everything, she still worried about him!
He grabbed her hand, kissing her palm.
Which makes Alex blush.
- Alex! Caroline hugged the young woman. What a pleasure to see you here! Alexandra gave him a big smile. Come with me !
Alex turned to Bobby, as if waiting for his approval.
- Go ahead, and I'll go see Logan!
Alexandra nodded, following Caroline.
