Chapter 8 – The Rejects, The Eds and The Master of the Seas Part 3
David McMillan groaned as he slowly regained consciousness. As he did, he heard the sound of laughing and music. He opened his eyes and hissed a bit upon having light hit his eyes, he blinked a couple of times and when his vision cleared, he saw an imp looking at him. The imp got a bit startled and scurried away, allowing David to see where he was and he was on the deck of the Black Skull Pirates' ship the Oceans Rift and he was tied up against one of the masts of the ship while sitting on the floor.
"Hello!" greeted Bork the ogre who entered David's vision. David looked around and noticed that they were currently sailing on the icy ocean on the ship.
"Hey buddy!" he heard a voice call out to him and he looked to his left only to see Tucker Jensen hanging on one of the sail booms tied up and upside down "Welcome to the party" he said.
"Shut up Tucker!" called out the voice of his brother Leonard "Lenny" McMillan and David glanced further to his left to see said brother tied up with him.
"Greetings David" said a familiar voice and David turned to his right to see Eddward "Double D" Marion Johnson tied up with him as well "Eddward, where are we?" he asked.
"We're in the pirates' ship and we're their prisoners" answered Double D and it all came back to the oldest of the Rejects of what happened.
David attempted to get himself out of the restraints but to no avail, he then looked around to see pirates everywhere having fun, drinking booze, eating food and fooling around. He saw Clay "Gunny" Samson tied up to the floor about a couple of feet from him and he was tied up together with Nathan "Nate" Grayson and Vernon "Vern" Joannes and the former of the three was ranting curses at the pirates much to the pirates' amusement.
"DIRTBAGS!" ranted Gunny "Each nd every one ah 'ya! You pirates… dirtbags! Tha good fer nothin dog eared pirate woman, who relies on dirty tricks while mah guard's down… ye best believe… she thuh numero uno dirtbag!" he ranted about Amunet at the last part "And you…!" he said turning to a random pirate who looked to his left then to his right before turning to him and pointed at himself in confusion "You know what you are…" said Gunny with dangerously narrowed eyes… or at least he tried to make them dangerous.
"Ooh! Ooh me! Pick me Gunny!" said Nate cheerfully "Shut up Grayson!" said Gunny "But I was gonna say "dirtbag"." said Nate with a sad frown "What? Dope-! Ugh- for the love of-! Now ya gone nd given away thuh answer to mah rhetorical question!" he shouted "Please… just stop… for Pete's sake…" said Vern with a sigh "Shut up Jo-an-ness!" said Gunny "I told you, it is pronounced "Jones!"." said Vern in exasperation.
This made the pirates laugh hard in amusement at the three Rejects' bickering and Amunet Nader, Gale Tidus and Merbius who were watching from somewhere at the quarter deck chuckled in amusement.
David looked around again and saw Daniel "Dan" Richards tied up against another mast just across from him, Lenny and Double D but unlike the former three, Dan was tied up slightly suspended on the mast about a couple of inches above the ground. To Dan's left, there was Gage Samson and Clifford "Cliff" Sullivan tied up and suspended in the air while hanging on the other mast's sail boom similarly to Tucker but unlike Tucker, the both of them were hung right side up and then there was Michael "Mickey" Avery Lockheart AKA Caboose and Edwin "Ed" Horace Willis tied up together the same way as Gage and Cliff on Dan's right.

And finally, in the middle of the deck was none other than Eddy Skipper McGee and he was being used to entertain the audience of pirates in front of him by dancing like silly and among the pirates watching him were none other than the other pirates who attacked the Eds and Rejects on their raft.
"Let's see what kinda moves~ ya got!" said Beastly the Gazimon taking out a pair of shurikens with a mischievous smile.
Pa pa l'americano!
"Dance little Ed-boy!" shouted Beastly throwing shuriken stars at poor Eddy.
"AHHH!" screamed Eddy as he dodged one shuriken followed by another and another "Dance your coconuts off!" taunted Walsh Norton who was surprisingly cheery due to how serious looking he was during his fight with David and Lenny "HAHAHAHAAA!" laughed Beastly as he continued to throw shurikens at Eddy who dodged while still dancing and this made the other pirates watching laugh in amusement.
Pa pa l'americano!
"Happy da~nce!" said Bork cheerfully watching as he took a piece of meat from a plate of food he was holding and popped it into his mouth "Mmm! Num, num, num" he said as he chewed.
"HAW! EEK! YIPES!" exclaimed Dan who dodged three stray shurikens that hit the parts of the mast close to his head and neck.
"Ooh~! Look at him, hahaha!" laughed Bork as he continued to watch, not noticing that a Vilemon dressed with a sash and bandana around his head and a cutlass on the left side of his sash sneaked up on him and emptied his plate of food and flew away and when Bork turned to get another piece of food, he gasped upon seeing his empty plate "Where's my booty?!" he said looking around.
"Has anyone seen it?" he asked his crewmates while looking down "Dude, it's right behind you!" said an Unggoy Grunt with a chuckle while pointing at somewhere behind Bork "Where?" he said spinning around for his "booty" as the other pirates laughed "Where's my booty? I can't see it" he said stepping back while looking around, unaware that he invaded Axel Les Cinq's personal space.
"Blegh! It's all I can see…" said the android in disgust as the ogre's butt was currently exposed and was in front of the pirate scout's face making the other pirates laugh even more.
"That looks like fun" said Caboose watching Eddy dance "Dance Eddy, dance!" said Ed doing his signature laugh.
"SHUT UP CHOWDERHEAD!" shouted Eddy as he started dodging lasers from another pirate while he continued to dance when all of a sudden…
*SPLAT*
"AHHH!" he screamed as he was hit in the face with coconut cream pie and fell flat on his back on the floor with a *THUD* making the pirates laugh again.
"Eddy are you alright!?" Double D called out in concern "What does it look like?!" called out Eddy with his face covered in pie as he was being dragged by a couple of pirates who tied him up.
Suddenly, Captain Roark Lucius appeared from out of nowhere and landed in front of David "Mornin sunshine!" the chimpanzee pirate captain greeted "Let me be the first to extend the hand… of friendship" he said kindly offering David a handshake with his right hand.
David looked at said hand and gave Roark a deadpanned look "That's your foot" he said, revealing that it was actually indeed Roark's foot and he was using his hands to stand while his feet were elevated in the air.
"Hohoho~! Nothin gets by you does it?" said Roark in amusement as he lowered his foot and put on his boot while switching to standing on his feet.
"What do you want?" questioned David with narrowed eyes.
"I bet you're feeling lost…" said Roark brushing his beard "Sca~red… confu~sed… allow me to explain" he said as he turned to his crew "Help me out boys!" he called out to some of his crew as they started playing instruments.

"Ooh~! Captain's gonna sing a shanty!" said Bork excitedly while playing an accordion.
Roark: Here you are on a boat, you're adrift, you're afloat, one might even say you're stuck! (Dan looks around before turning to his left so see Captain Roark upside down as the chimp sang. He then appeared on Dan's right as he hung on to the mast with the tied-up reject as he continued to sing)
Well, I don't want to gloat but I would like to note that you're in luck! (Roark checked his nails as he continued singing before booping Dan's nose)
You've been saved by the ape that rules these waters. (Roark climbed up until he was standing on top of the sail boom with his arms extended in a pose)
So, forget about your sisters and brothers! (Roark sang in front of David making the latter move back a bit before the former moved back)
First mate, introduce me to them pleeeease! (Roark was now lying relaxed on top of a sail boom with the mast behind him and his arms behind his head while he had one of his feet exposed as said foot started waving one of its toes as if conducting before he stretched his arm out to Amunet)
"Aye, aye Captain Roark!" saluted Amunet as she jumped from the quarter deck and landed next to Axel.
Amunet and Axel: He's a big and scary, elegant and hairy! (Amunet sang while making a slight crouch and doing a fierce face towards Axel before the android sang along while slightly hunching forwards and turning his hands into metal taloned claws)
Amunet and Beastly: Fear inspiring! (Amunet appears behind Beastly with double barrel flintlock blaster in hand while the Gazimon did a scary intimidating stance with cutlass in hand as they sang)
Amunet and Walsh: Years-till-retiring! (Walsh suddenly hit Beastly sending him flying making the latter yelp while the assassin pirate did a rock n role guitar pose while on his knees as he sang with Amunet)
Amunet and Retha: Looting, stealing… (Retha was seen putting some weapons away in her pouch as Amunet appeared on the left side of the reader's view while they sang)
Bork: Banana peeling… (Bork appeared on the right side of the reader's view as he sang while making a banana pealing motion with his hands)
Black Skull Crew: Undisputed master of the seas~! (The main crew gathered around Dan and sang the last part of the chorus along with the rest of the crew who sang along with their weapons raised up high)
"Aw, jeez" said Dan looking upwards in exasperation.
Roark: That's me! (Roark does a proud elegant pose gesturing to himself while standing on the sail boom above Dan)
Black Skull Crew: Tis he! (Axel, Beastly, Retha and Merbius point at Roark while looking up towards him)
Roark: That's me! (Roark points at himself with his feet while hanging on the sail boom like a monkey bar)
Black Skull Crew: Tis he! (Amunet, Walsh, Gale and Bork do the same as the first group)
Roark: That's me! (Roark jumps from the boom and lands in front of his main crew)
Black Skull Crew: Tis he! (The main crew points to Roark)
Roark: Okay, okay! (Roark savors the spotlight as Walsh played a flute)
Roark: I'm a primate pirate pioneer, and these are my great buccaneers, all of whom were once lost souls like you! (as Roark continued to sing, he lifted up Beastly who whooped as he and Roark went towards David, Lenny and Double D in a way as if they were dancing and then went around them until Roark appeared on David's left, showing Beastly while holding said digimon by his back and as he continues singing, Beastly did a cutsie face before Roark slingshot him back to the others)
Black Skull Crew: It's true! (They all said raising up either their weapons, forks or mugs of rum)
Pirate member 1: He rescued us! (Pirate member raises up his weapon)
Pirate Member 2: He saved our butts! (Second pirate member twirls his knives)
Amunet: For that we owe out lives to Roark, assuming he doesn't kill you… (Amunet casually strides past some of the rejects until she comes across Tucker and holds his head close to her face, giving him a fierce intimidating grin)
Black Skull Crew: You will owe him too~! (Retha throws a spear at Dan in which he ducks as it hits the mast above his head startling him)
"Kill them? Ohoho! Me? No, no…" said Roark wrapping one arm around David while waving his other hand towards his crew before turning to him "Well, at least not this strong looking… young man here" he said lifting up David's chin and observing him until David moved his head away from Roark "Hey, hands off!" said David defyingly making Bork "Ooh~" in amusement while some of the other pirates chuckled and laughed while Roark was unfazed by David's defiant reaction and was only amused "Anyway…" said the Pirate Captain as he continued his shanty.
Roark: Here we are on a ship moving out quite a clip through the ever-shifting ice. (Roark climbs up on the mast and looks to the far horizon of the icy ocean)
Amunet: Come along, on a trip. (Amunet appeared on David's left and put a hand on his shoulder while singing an offer to him)
Bork: That's a hint! (Bork appears on David's right)
Beastly: That's a tip! (Beastly jumps on Bork's shoulder)
Axel: That's good advice! (Axel appears next to Amunet tilting forward a bit)
A Black Skull pirate crew member used a pair of drumsticks to hit a few skulls that he was using for drums and upon hitting the last skull, it flew towards Amunet who stood next to what looked like a throne which sat in between two tables where some pirates sat with food on the table.
Roark and Amunet: In a world that's going under. (Amunet hit the skull with her right elbow making it bounce up like a ball, then hit it with her other elbow as it landed on the throne's right top rails and as it landed, Roark sat on said throne)
To survive you must learn to plunder. (Roark proceeded to make a fruit shish kebob with a stick and some fruits that sat on a plate on a table next to him and Amunet tossed an apple towards her captain in which he caught it with his stick completing his shish kebab)
Roark: Luckily, that's my field of expertise~! (Roark put his fruit shish kebab above his mouth while doing a sitting pose as if he were a king)
"He's the best!" proclaimed Amunet with a sly look.
Bork and Beastly: He's a robbing, thieving… (Beastly was throwing two pieces of fruit at Bork's stomach making them bounce and catching them and repeating the process while Bork continued to play his accordion)
"We really should be leaving…" said Gunny as he, Nate and Vern watched.
Retha: Weapon-throwing… (Retha held up a butt-load of swords in both of her hands)
"We gotta get going…" said Double D nervously as he, David and Lenny watched.
Beastly: Reject-slaying… (Beastly appears next to Dan as he stuck his cutlass near the maroon reject's neck)
"Uh, wish we could be staying…" said Dan nervously while sweating a bit.
Black Skull Crew: Undisputed, uncontested, monkey suited… (The main crew gathers in front of David, Double D and Lenny when Roark appears and grabs Beastly by his ears making him yell out "Hey!" while he took out his rapier which was handed to him by Retha)
Roark: Yeah, you guessed it. (Roark spun Beastly in one hand while pointing his rapier forward)
Black Skull Crew: Maaaster~ of~ the~ Seeeeas~! (Roark tossed Beastly away before switching his hold of his sword to his left hand and put his left foot on a stool and did a cool elegant-like pose while his main crew including Beastly who appeared again gathered behind Roark and did awesome poses with him with Retha holding out a pole with the Black Skull Pirate's jolly roger flag)
"Oh, please…" said Lenny rolling his eyes in annoyance.
Roark: That's me! (Roark slowly walked towards David with his hand raised up)
Black Skull Crew: Tis he! (The whole crew points at Roark)
Roark: That's me! (Roark gestures to himself while continuing to move forward)
Black Skull Crew: Tis he! (The whole crew points at Roark again)
Roark: It's who? (Roark pointed his sword to his right while looking at his right with narrowed eyes)
Black Skull Crew: It's you! (The whole crew points at Roark a third time)
Roark: Just testing, I knew. It's meeee~! (Roark shrugged his shoulders as a gesture as if he was kidding before coming to a stop as he finished his shanty)
"Good shanty sir!" said Bork as the whole Black Skull Pirate crew cheered and some of them gave their captain a great round of applause.
"Captain… Roark…" said David familiarizing himself with the name "Hmm, I have to say… you have quite… the unique name" he commented.
"Why thank you" said Roark "Not many know my name but I am well known throughout other dimensions and some of the people call me… "Dead Eye Roark"." He said with a grin.
"Dead-Eye-Roark?" parroted Lenny with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah~, I don't get it" said Caboose getting Roark and the Black Skull Pirates' attention "Your eyes don't look dead to me" he said making some of the pirates laugh at Caboose's stupidity and even Roark laughed in amusement.
"Hehehe! That's funny, you're a funny guy despite your dimwittedness" he said as his crew laughed even more.
"Really, I don't get it" said Caboose innocently.
"Yeah! Ah don't get it either!" called out Gunny sarcastically, getting the Pirates' attention "Fer a nickname such as Dead-Eye Roark, it'll take more than a mere stink-eye ta scare me ta death!" he said.
This made the whole Black Skull Pirate crew laugh even harder including Roark as he approached Gunny.
"Hahaha! Oh… you're a funny guy too, I like funny" said Roark crouching to Gunny's eye level and putting a hand on his shoulder "But that's not how I got my name…" the pirate captain said looking away for a second when all of a sudden, he pulled out one of his double barrel flintlock blasters and put it under Gunny's chin "THIS… got me my name" he said with a fierce grin.
"As… if… that'll scare me…" said Gunny with defiant narrowed eyes getting a number of "Oooohs" from several numbers of crew members and instead of getting annoyed, Roark just got even more amused.
"I still don't get it" called out Caboose.
"Yeah, me neither!" called out Cliff as Roark turned his sights to the slacker reject "What's that gotta do with your nickname?" Cliff questioned.
"No?" said Roark with a raised eyebrow "Okay then…" she said as he approached Cliff "Let me give you a visual aid…" he said while twirling his blaster.
"Picture me as if I were standing from a distance…" he said as he stopped twirling his blaster while stopping in front of Cliff and slowly raised his blaster up towards the slacker reject "I simply aim either here…" he said with the barrels pointed towards Cliff's forehead making him gasp "Or here…" he said changing his aim towards Cliff's eyes making him gulp "Bang!" he softly exclaimed making Cliff loudly squeak in fright making the pirates laugh.
"And then either your eyes or brains would come popping out of the back of your head!" exclaimed Beastly as another Gazimon next to him was chewing some gum and then blew a bubble which burst with a loud sounding *POP*, making the Black Skull Pirates laugh hilariously.
"Um… I still don't get it…" said Caboose tilting his head.
"Look…" spoke David as the pirates stopped laughing and turned to the eldest reject "As much as I'm "tempted" to join a…" he trailed off as he looked around the group with narrowed eyes "Monkey…" Roark grunted with a frown "A mutt…" Beastly's ears stood up straight as a sign of taking offense to that "And a giant bag of snot…" Bork just cheerfully waved at David with a laugh "I'll pass…" said David "No one's gonna stop us from getting back home to our families" he said with finality.
Bork dramatically gasped as he literally pulled a long face while the rest of the pirates had mixed reactions. Some of them murmured, some just had wide eyes in disbelief at David's decline in joining the crew and some just had raised eyebrows either perplexed or amused.
"AH'M GONNA LIMBADO WITH YOUR LIVER BUDDY!" shouted Beastly twirling his cutlass as the Gazimon jumped towards David with a warcry ready to stab him when Roark casually grabbed onto his ears stopping him in his tracks in midair.
"Hey! Let me at 'em!" the Gazimon said squirming when Roark just threw him to the floor making him yelp with a *SPLAT* as Roark slowly approached David.
The ape captain went near David's right ear and spoke "Those families… are going to be the deaths of you~" he whispered menacingly with a smile making David narrow his eyes as Roark stepped back.
"First mate! Jettison the deadweight!" Roark ordered Amunet.
"Aye, aye sir!" replied the Jackal beastman "Prepare the plank!" she ordered.
"PREPAARRE THE PLAAANK!" shouted Beastly, standing back up making Amunet groan and roll her eyes in annoyance.
"Preparing the plank!" exclaimed Bork with a salute as he pulled a lever from out of nowhere as one of the rails on the side of the ship opened and a plank popped out of the side.
"Prepare the plank!" called out one of the other crew members. Retha pulled out an axe from her pouch and hopped towards Gage and Cliff cutting them free only for them to fall on the floor face first with a loud *SPLAT*, making them groan. Retha then lifted up Cliff as she slowly took him toward the plank while a couple of Jiralhanae pirates restrained Gage before he had the chance to stand up.
"HA! Well, wha d'ya know… ye know wha this means Cliff? It means ya deadweight Numb Nuts!" called out Gunny laughing.
"Uh… I think he also meant that you're the deadweight!" called back Cliff "You're the one who's mostly deadweight! Considering thuh kazillion times ya skip out on chores!" called back Gunny. This made the pirates laugh at their bickering making Cliff grumble while the others sweat dropped at how they could argue in the middle of a situation such as this.
Cliff then turned towards the plank "Uh… I think it's a bad idea to throw me into the water" he said "I ate like less than 20 minutes ago and you know the rules" he told Retha.
Retha rolled her eyes "That's, a myth" she told him "Oh, really? Oh, alright… as long as it's safe" he said. Retha then pushed the orange slacker reject to the plank as he yelped a bit upon seeing sharks circling the spot where he'll supposedly fall overboard.
He shook in fear when all of a sudden... "Hey, wait a minute?" he said taking a closer look at the sharks "Aren't those Sharpedos?" he questioned turning to the pirates.
Indeed, surrounding the water below the plank were a small group of Sharpedos, shark pokemon and they looked like as if they all looked ready to eat.
"Indeed, they are good sir" said Roark with a smirk "And they are very hungry" he said.
"WHAT?!" exclaimed Cliff in disbelief "Since when did Sharpedos start eating humans or even other sentient beings?!" he questioned.
"Since joining our crew" Roark replied.
"WHAAAT! THEY'RE PART OF YOUR CREW!? NOOOO! I DON'T WANT TO DIE OF BEING POKEMON FOOD!" exclaimed Cliff dramatically while holding his head making the pirates who were watching him laugh.
"Yeah, that's right! Our sharks are hungry, so you better move along!" said Beastly pointing his sword at Cliff.
"What's takin so long? We're starving down here!" called out one of the Sharpedos shocking Cliff and even the Eds and Rejects who heard it "WHAT?! THEY CAN TALK?! WHAT KIND OF BACKWARDS DIMENSION IS THIS?!" he shouted making the pirates laugh while the slacker tried his best from being pushed towards the plank.
"WAIT!" called out Roark raising up his arm to stop "Aw, thank god…" said Cliff in relief but then Roark said "Dump the Ed-boy too" "ARRRR!" exclaimed the pirates.
"What?!" exclaimed Cliff in surprise.
"What?!" said the restrained Gage in shock.
"Wha/What?" said Gunny, Nate and Vern in confusion.
"What~?" said Tucker, Dan and Caboose also confused.
"WHAT?!" exclaimed the McMillan brothers and the Eds in alarm especially the latter group.
"Uh… sir, which Ed-boy are we dumping?" asked a ratman pirate "Because there are three of them and-" but Roark grabbed him by the collar "The short one you dimwit!" said Roark before tossing him to the floor.
"WHAT?!" exclaimed Eddy panicked knowing that Roark meant him as he was set free from his restraints and was now being pushed towards the plank.
"Little boys first~" Roark said with a grin while gesturing towards the plank.
"N-N-N-NO! WAIT! WAIT! WAIT!" said Eddy as he was being pushed.
"EDDY!" exclaimed Ed and Double D in alarm and concern.
"NOOO! DON'T HURT MY FRIEND!" called out Caboose but was heard on deaf ears.
Eddy was now on the plank with the pirates pointing their weapons at him "Please don't do this! There are so many things I still want to do!" he begged.
"Oh, really?" said Roark "Then perhaps if you join our crew… I'll spare your life… and maybe you can have all the things you ever dreamed of" he goaded.
"AS IF!" declined Eddy "I'll never join you crazy pirates and ditch my friends!" he said defiantly.
"Yeah! You go Eddy!" cheered Caboose "Show them who's boss!" Ed also cheered.
The pirates were only amused "Oh well… too bad…" said Roark in a slightly disappointed tone "Feed him to the Sharpedo!" he ordered his crew as they responded with an "ARRR!" as they began to stomp on the plank making it shake and wobble.
"AAH!" screamed Eddy as he held onto the plank for dear life making the pirates laugh while the other Eds and Rejects called out to him in alarm… well, all but one.
"Ha, ha, ha! Yes! Finally, a situation where someone's gonna get killed and it's not gonna be me" said Cliff.
"Oh, don't get your hopes up fatty, cause you're next" said Beastly putting his cutlass near Cliff's neck making him gulp.
The pirates continued to make the plank shake with poor Eddy doing his best to hold on and the pirates continued to laugh.
Some of the Rejects and the remaining Eds started struggling in their attempts to get out of their restraints but to no avail all the while, the pirates continued to watch Eddy's struggle from becoming pokemon food and the Sharpedos were watching with anticipation waiting for the time Eddy falls into the water, one of the Sharpedos even licked their teeth waiting to get a bite out of Eddy and one of them even resorted to jumping out of the water and bite Eddy, luckily Eddy managed to duck making him go "EEP!".
The pirates were so distracted that they were unaware that one of the rejects just had about enough.
Gage started breathing heavily and even started shaking uncontrollably. The Jiralhanae that were restraining him took notice "Hey! Quit your squirming ya twerp!" said one of them as he swung his fist at him only for a hand to stop said fist.
"Huh?!" exclaimed the Jiralhanae looking at Gage who was the one to stop his fist. Suddenly, the brown reject got out of his restraints and threw the Jiralhanae overboard ship like it was nothing.
"AAAHHHHH!" screamed the Brute as he hit the water with a *SPLASH*. This got the other pirates' attention as they stopped rocking the plank "Aw, thank goodness!" said Eddy in relief.
The pirates looked at the spot where the Jiralhane pirate fell and saw him emerge from the water, they then turned to the culprit and saw Gage brawling with the remaining Jiralhanae pirate who restrained him and the reject gave him a right hook to the face knocking out the alien as said alien hit the floor with a loud *THUD*.
This stunned the whole Black Skull crew, they never expected that a human like Gage could knock out something as tough as a Jiralhanae, all the while, the Rejects cheered for Gage.
"Yeah! Nice goin Gage!" said Gunny with a grin.
"Yeah! You totally kicked their butt!" said Tucker.

Captain Roark was the first to snap out of it "What are you all standing around here for? GET HIM!" he ordered. And with that the pirates charged at Gage with the brown reject raising his fists up at the ready with narrowed eyes.
The pirates attempted to tackle Gage or throw punches at him but Gage would just either duck or dodge and retaliate with a right or left hook and a punch or even a few kicks and throws.
Two pirates, a Kig-Yar and a Ratman watched in disbelief at Gage's strength before turning to each other, the latter asking "What the fuck is with this guy?"
*WHAM*
The Kig-yar was slammed by an incoming pirate sending him and the Jackal flying. The Ratman turned to Gage who was spinning a Minotaur pirate around much to the former's shock and disbelief with his jaw dropped.
Using his gathered momentum, the brown reject threw the minotaur at the ratman who ducked just in time, the ratman charged at Gage with a yell, cutlass in hand. The ratman swung downwards only for Gage to sidestep and karate chop the ratman's wrist, disarming him before he threw a few punches at him followed by an elbow strike and finishing it off with a reverse spin-kick sending the ratman flying.
Some of the rejects started cheering for Gage.
"Haha~! Alright Gage! Go get 'em!" cheered Gunny.
"Whoo hoo! Awesome man!" said Tucker and despite being upside down, he could still see the fight.
"Go for it Gage!" called out Dan.
"Yeah! Go get 'em!" cheered Caboose.
"Beat them up Gage!" called out Ed also cheering on Gage.
"Yeah! Do it!" cheered Eddy who was still holding on to the plank.
The same Ratman, who Gage sent flying ended up landing in front of Captain Roark's feet as the ratman groaned before going unconscious.
Roark looked down at the Ratman before looking up at the brown reject with a frown as Gage continued to beat up incoming pirates.
The chimp captain then snapped his fingers and an Unggoy Grunt raised up his plasma pistol and charged it up creating a green plasma energy ball.
Eddy took notice and gasped "Gage! Look out!" he warned.
"Huh?" said Gage turning to his left but it was too late because the Grunt fired and the plasma energy ball hit him electrocuting and immobilizing him "HIGIGIGUGUGURGURK!" he exclaimed upon getting electrocuted alarming his friends.
"GAGE!" they exclaimed.
But Gage was somehow resisting as he refused to collapse but he could barely move.
Roark smirked and turned to his first mate "Amunet… you know what to do…" he said in a dark sly tone.
Amunet grinned and nodded. She stepped forward and took out something from her coat. It looked like a black and red striped device with a bit of silver, red button on the top right corner, a white button on the top middle and a slot for what seems like some rectangular object. It was strapped to what looked like a silver belt with the device in a diagonal position from the top left to the bottom right. This was the Raidriser.
Upon seeing it, the Rejects and Eds gasped "No way…" said Dan with wide eyes.
"That's…" said Eddy with equally wide eyes.
Amunet strapped on the belt on her waist as the other end on the belt clipped itself to the left side of the device.
RAIDRISER!
The belt announced. Amunet then took out something from her pocket. It was another USB Cartridge device similar to Axel's Zetsumerise key but replacing the light purple color was gold and it had the name "Fighting Jackal" with the ability "Hunt" below it. This is the Fighting Jackal Progrise Key.
Amunet pressed the button of the progrise key activating it as it lit up.
HUNT!
Amunet then inserted the key into the Raidriser as it started playing some kind of techno tune.
The Jackal Beastman smirked as she said "Equip" and slammed the ride button with her palm.
RAIDRISE! FIGH-TING JAC-KAL~! *Siren wailing sound* Deciding the fate of a battle like a Valkyrie.
Gold pipes started surrounding her and as well as swirling purple streams. Two gold rings, one small from the top and one big from the bottom lined up as armor materialized around her and they dispersed revealing Amunet's new form.
She was now clad in a gray skinsuit under white, gray, dark gray and gold armor composed of white and gray thigh armor, white and gray greaves, white armored shoes, white lower body armor with dark gray and gold outlined hip armor with two gold straps crossed just below the Raidriser and hanging below said driver is a dark gray and gold outlined cloth, dark gray and gold accented lower back armor covering her bottom, on her upper body was a white, dark gray torso armor with a gray and gold armor piece resembling an Egyptian collar necklace around the top of her shoulders, dark gray and gold accented bracelet-like armor on her upper arms with triangular shaped edges, white and gray bracers, white gloves with white armor on top of the palms and a dark gray and gold accented helmet resembling a jackal head with a white mouth guard and red eye visors with vertical grills on them. Amunet Nader had become… the Fighting Jackal Raider.
Upon seeing Amunet's transformation, the Rejects and Eds looked on with wide eyes and one thing came into their minds… "Aw, shit…"
Fighting Jackal Raider held out her right hand and a weapon materialized out of purple mist and into her hand. It looked like a gold and dark gray accented scythe. This was Fighting Jackal Raider's personal weapon the Territory Scythe.
Fighting Jackal Raider then pressed the red button on her Raidriser.
FIGHTING~ BOLIDE!
She got into a stance while the blade of her Territory Scythe got wreathed in purple energy and she ran at a fast pace leaving after images of herself and when she was upon Gage, she swung her scythe at him.
*SLASH*
Fighting Jackal Raider was now behind Gage in a post slashing position, everything was quiet, no sound was heard. Then Fighting Jackal Raider "Hmphed!" with a smirk behind her helmet.
And the next thing everyone knew, Gage's head slid off his neck and fell to the floor with a *THUD* followed by the rest of his body as it fell forward and the head rolled a bit.
The Rejects and Eds gave off horrified looks at what happened. They just watched their friend die in front of them.
"GAGE!" they all exclaimed.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" screamed Dan towards the heavens overdramatically.
Caboose and Ed screamed in horror with the former also screaming in despair.
Fighting Jackal Raider relaxed her stance and shouldered her scythe "Well… that went well" she said turning to her crew who let out a huge laugh.
"Well done first mate" said Roark with a grin.
"YOU KILLED GAGE YOU BITCH!" shouted Tucker.
"WAIT TILL I GET MY HANDS ON YOU AFTER I GET MYSELF OUT OF THESE ROPES YOU JACKAL BITCH!" yelled Lenny practically pissed as he attempted get himself off his restraints but to no avail.
"Oh~?" said Fighting Jackal Raider turning to the Rejects "I'd like to see you try" she taunted earning a few "Ooohs!" from her crewmates and a glare from David.
While the Rejects and Eds were letting out their own yells and cries, the only one who remained silent was Gunny who had his eyes shadowed.
Suddenly…
"DO YA HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YE JUST DONE YA DOG EARED VARMINT?!" yelled out Gunny with an angry look.
"What's it look like? She just killed your friend" said Beastly nonchalantly.
"Ya have no idea… wha kinda trouble yer in…" said Gunny cryptically with a dark look. This confused the pirates and even his fellow Rejects and the Eds.
But unbeknownst to them, something was happening and it was Gage's headless body and his right finger started to twitch.
Suddenly, everything went silent as Fighting Jackal Raider heard a large number of gasps. She turned to see that her crewmates and captain looked at her with wide eyes of shock and even the Rejects and Eds also looked on with wide eyes… well… all except for Gunny.
She looked amongst her crewmates in confusion "What?" she asked.
"Amunet…" uttered Bork slowly raising up a shaking finger and pointed it towards somewhere behind her "Behind you" he said nervously.
"Huh?" said Fighting Jackal Raider with a raised eyebrow behind her mask, she then slowly turned around and when she did, her eyes almost bulged out of her visors upon what she saw. Right in front of her was the headless body of Gage Samson standing right in front of her.
"WHAT THE HE-!?" she exclaimed in shock, only for Gage's body to throw a right hook to her masked face before she got the chance to finish her sentence, sending her flying and onto the floor with a *THUD*.
This shocked everyone in the ship minus Gunny and there was one thing that they all could do right now…
"AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" and that was scream.
"Holy crap! His body's still moving!" exclaimed a crewmember.
"How's that possible?!" exclaimed another.
"Oh, my god! Gage's body's moving without his head!" exclaimed Nate.
"THAT DOESN'T SEEM PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE!" exclaimed Vern, Tucker and Cliff in shock.
"OH! MY! GOD~! GAGE HAS BECOME THE HEADLESS HORSEMAN!" exclaimed Caboose.
"HEADLESS HORSEMAN?! AHHHH!" screamed Ed.
"HOW CAN HE BE THE HEADLESS HORSEMAN WHEN HE'S NOT RIDING A HORSE!?" shouted Lenny.
Everyone was so freaked out that they couldn't approach Gage's headless body. This allowed the body to walk over to his head, pick it up at attached it back in place.
Gage turned to the Fighting Jackal Raider who slowly stood up and used her Territory Scythe for support, the brown reject glared at her "Th-th-th-that h-h-h-hurt, y-y-you b-b-b-bitch!" he shouted while sounding like a glitching robot.
"WHAT THE HELL?! WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?!" exclaimed Tucker as he turned to Gunny who remained calm and unfazed "Gunny what the hell?! How are you so calm about this?!" he said.
"Is there something you'd like to tell us Gunny?" said David wanting answers.
Gunny bowed his head in shame as he sighed "Thuh truth is… Gage is an android" he spoke.
"HE'S AN ANDROID?!" exclaimed the Eds and Rejects.
"Android? Cool!" cheered Ed.
"Zut alors… so he's like me…" muttered Axel putting a hand on his chin while raising an eyebrow towards Gage intrigued, being an android himself and all.
"Ya see… back when Gage nd I were young, we were born different despite bein twins" Gunny explained "While ah was born strong nd healthy, Gage was born sick nd fragile" he said "One day, when we were 10, he was diagnosed with a rare incurable disease nd so our parents who were brilliant military scientists created a special android body fer him, one tha can act nd grow like a real human body with artificial organs nd as well as other stuff tha can allow him ta do other normal stuff tha normal people can do and so they transferred his mind into it when he was on thuh verge a dyin, nd look et him now, he's now as strong as more than 10 men!" Gunny explained.
"Whoa… now that's badass" said Tucker.
"Neat" said Caboose.
"Cool~!" said Ed.
The remaining Rejects and Eds were just left astonished and speechless at this revelation.
"Ugh… okay, I have to admit, that took me by surprise but I won't make that mistake again" declared Fighting Jackal Raider as she twirled her scythe and got into a stance again.
"I-I-I-I-I-I li-li-li-li-li- *CLANG* I'd like to see you try- *Bzzzt* tu chacal perra!" he taunted after hitting his head a bit to fix his voice.
"Huh?!" said Fighting Jackal Raider blinking behind her helmet taken aback.
"Wha?" said the Black Skull Pirates.
"HUH?!" exclaimed the Rejects and Eds in surprise.
Gage blinked a bit before holding his throat clearing it before testing out his voice "Ehehehehem! Hola... hola... probando, uno, dos, tres..." he spoke. He stayed silent for a few moments before his eyes widened "QUÉ?! POR QUÉ HABLO ESPAÑOL?!" Gage exclaimed in shock.
There was silence before the whole crew burst out in laughter.
"Oh my god! Hahahaha! That's probably the worst case of language disorder I've ever heard!" laughed Beastly pointing a finger at Gage.
"You could say that again!" laughed another Gazimon.
"Gage! Can ya set yer speech unit back ta English?!" called out Gunny.
"Mi unidad de voz no funcionó! Solo puedo hablar español!" said Gage.
"A~hahahaha! Great~! Now Gage really is a lot like Lopez!" said Cliff bluntly with an exasperated laugh.
"SHUT UP/CÁLLATE CLIFF!" shouted the Rejects making the slacker flinch while the Eds just sweat dropped.
"Grrr… todo esto es gracias a ese estúpido Unggoy Grunt que me disparó esa carga de plasma!" exclaimed Gage in anger sending a chill down said Unggoy Grunt's spine, despite not understanding Gage, he had a feeling that the brown Reject was talking about him.
The whole ship continued to echo with laugher until it slowly died down.
"*Sigh* Okay, now that we had our laugh…" said Roark calming down with a smile before pointing towards Gage with his smile turning into a savage grin "Get rid of him first mate!" he commanded.
"Aye, aye captain!" nodded Fighting Jackal Raider, Territory Scythe at the ready.
(Insert Benny Hill Theme)
Gage narrowed his eyes, but then glanced at his friends and smirked. He then turned back to the Black Skull Pirates first mate and went on a ready combat stance "Ven a buscarme entonces" he taunted with a "C'mon" gesture.
Fighting Jackal Raider glared as she got into a battle-ready stance with her scythe, she then charged at Gage before swinging her scythe at him, only for the android reject to side step dodging her swing.
"Te lo perdiste…" he taunted after the pirate missed.
"Grrr…" growled Fighting Jackal Raider as she turned to Gage again and swung her scythe as it made a sound of *WOOSH*.
"Te perdiste de nuevo!"
*WOOSH*
"Y otra vez!"
*WOOSH*
"Y otra vez!"
*WOOSH*
"Seriamente? Estás Si quiera intentándolo?" taunted Gage with a taunting shrug. This infuriated Fighting Jackal Raider even more as she growled and continued her onslaught of scythe slashes. Little did she know, that Gage got her where he wanted.
Gage was now in front of David, Lenny and Double D "Aqui!" he taunted as Fighting Jackal Raider swung her scythe at him as it made a sound of *SLASH* only to miss.
"No, por aquí!" taunted Gage who was now behind Tucker.
*SLASH*
"No, por aquí!" he was now behind Dan.
*SLASH*
"No~, por aquí!" he was now behind Caboose and Ed.
*SLASH*
Fighting Jackal Raider missed every time and it was annoying her even more. Gage kept on dodging her strikes until they were back to where they were, in the middle of the deck with Gage on his original spot and Fighting Jackal Raider on her spot panting and gasping for air in exhaustion while using her Territory Scythe for support.
(Pause Soundtrack)
"You think… you can… escape from my attacks… forever?" questioned Fighting Jackal Raider in between pants.
Gage smirked "No necesito... ya no es decir, ya me hiciste un favor" he said.
"Huh?" said Fighting Jackal Raider tilting her head in confusion.
"He said zat he doesn't need to dodge anymore and he said zat you did him a favor Amunet" said Axel and some of the crew including Fighting Jackal Raider "You can understand him Axel?" asked Bork "I'm an android, I have a special programing zat allows me to understand several languages" replied the android scout.
"So… is that a yes then?" asked Bork "But of course I can understand him you idiot!" shouted Axel in annoyance.
Ignoring Axel's rant, Fighting Jackal Raider turned back to Gage "What do you mean by I did you a favor?" she questioned with a raised eyebrow behind her helmet.
Gage kept his smirk as he gestured around him "Echa un vistazo a tu alrededor, notas algo?" he said.
This confused the raider as she took a look around and it got the pirates' attention. Nothing seemed different but then they took notice of the prisoners and they heard what seemed like a snapping sound and just like that… the ropes were cut releasing the rest of the Rejects and Eds. This shocked every one of the pirates.
*THUD*
"Ow! My head!" exclaimed Tucker holding his head in pain "Quit your whining Tucker!" said Lenny as he, David and Double D stood up, with the 2nd of the Eds relieved that he's free.
"Haha~! Ah knew ye'd get us outta this mess Gage! Ah never doubted ya fer a sec!" said Gunny proud of his brother.
"Yeah! Good job!" said Nate as he, Gunny and Vern got up from the floor.
"Yeah, great job Gage!" said Dan standing up after he fell to the floor from being released.
"Yeah! Great job!" said Caboose as he and Ed stood up after falling down from their tied-up states and dusting themselves.
"Whoo hoo! Alright!" cheered Eddy while raising up a fist and still holding on to the plank.
The pirates gawked at what they saw, Gage had fooled Amunet Nader into freeing their prisoners.
Captain Roark was the first to snap out of it "OY! WHAT ARE YOU IDIOTS STANDING AROUND FOR?! GET THEM!" he shouted and that snapped the pirates out of it as they pulled out their weapons and with a yell of "ARRRR!", they charged at the free Rejects and Eds.

David immediately pulled out Gunny's revolver that he miraculously kept with him and tossed it towards the older Samson twin "Gunny! Catch!" he called out.
Gunny caught it "Thanks David!" he said as he reloaded it in seconds and open fired at incoming pirates.
"Run!" exclaimed Dan as he and Caboose ran away.
"AHH! PIRATES!" exclaimed Ed as he ran after Dan and Caboose and soon after, the rest of the Rejects and Double D ran.
The pirates were chasing them around the deck of the ship in circles and hilariously enough, Cliff was just standing on the side of the starboard deck leaning on the rails as he watched his friends and the pirates run passed him without a care in the world and it was as if the two groups completely forgot about him in which that the pirates did forget about him just standing there as they were too busy chasing the other rejects and two of the Eds to even notice him.
"Hehehe! Man… this is just like watching a funny chasing video, only even funnier when you're there in person, just wish I had some popcorn though…" said Cliff as he continued to watch.
"Seriously?! You're thinking about food at a time like this?!" exclaimed Eddy towards the slacker reject while still holding onto the plank.
*CHOMP*
"AHH!" screamed Eddy as he avoided getting his butt chomped off by one of the hungry Sharpedos and stood up and ran to the deck of the ship "SHAAAARK!" screamed Eddy as he leaped onto Cliff and clung onto him with his legs wrapped around his upper body and arms wrapped around his head blocking his field of vision with his chest. This took Cliff by surprise "Hey! Get off me shorty!" exclaimed Cliff as he had a hard time seeing and the impact of Eddy suddenly clinging onto him caused him to lose balance as he went out of control until he and Eddy fell to the floor with a *THUD*, thus making the both of them groan.
"Ugh… hey! What's the big idea?!" shouted Cliff as he got Eddy out of his face "Sorry man, but I had to get away from the sharks!" Eddy reasoned.
"Those are Sharpedo! They're pokemon! Not sharks!" argued Cliff "It's the same thing!" Eddy argued back.
"Hey! You guys are also with them! Get 'em!" said a couple of pirates who spotted the both of them and charged at them with weapons in hand.
"AAHHHH!" screamed Cliff and Eddy as they ran away. They ended up near the table filled with food and Eddy grabbed a couple of bananas and threw them to the floor where the two pirates stepped on them and slipped, causing them to fall to the floor with a *THUD*.
"Ha! Gotcha!" said Eddy triumphantly "Noooo! Not the bananas!" said Cliff in dramatic despair "Shut up!" said Eddy.
Suddenly, they felt a tap on their shoulders coming from behind them which made them froze, they slowly turned around and much to their shock and horror, it was Fighting Jackal Raider with her Territory Scythe in hand "Hello boys~!" she said in a playful menacing tone while tapping her scythe's shaft on her hand as her visor glowed.
"AAAAHHHHHHH!" screamed the both of them as Eddy grabbed the first thing he could grab from the table, which was a coconut cream pie and he smacked it on Fighting Jackal Raider's face with a *SPLAT*, taking her off guard.
"GAH! What the-?!" exclaimed Fighting Jackal Raider in surprise, stumbling back, dropping her scythe as a result and proceeded to get the pie plate off of her followed by the cream on her. This allowed Cliff and Eddy to run away from her.
"I REFUSE TO ACCEPT IT! I REFUSE! I REFUSE TO ACCEPT THE FACT THAT THAT FORM IS CONSIDERED ONE OF KAMEN RIDER VALKYRIE'S FORMS! I REFUSE!" Eddy shouted hysterically.
"Ditto bro! That thing's form doesn't even start with Kamen Rider!" agreed Cliff as he and Eddy ran away.
Soon, they joined up with the other Rejects and Eds as their pursuit from the pirates continued.
"We have to get to the helm!" said David.
"How do you suppose we do that when we're being chased by a whole pirate crew huh?!" said Lenny.
"Quick! To the lower decks!" said Double D pointing towards the open door which led to the lower decks of the Oceans Rift "We'll split up and lose them there and then we'll rendezvous back here!" he told them.
"Well, tha's better than nothin, let's go men!" said Gunny.
"I second that, let's go!" said Lenny.
And with that, the Eds and Rejects entered the lower decks.
Suddenly, Lenny tripped causing his glasses to fall off "Oof! Dang it!" he shouted as he searched for his glasses.
"Lenny! Pirates!" warned Caboose.
"Huh?" said Lenny blinking when he turned behind him only to see the pirates heading towards him "Oh shoot!" he said when he looked down to see his glasses but unfortunately, they were a bit too far away for him to reach and unfortunately, they were in the pirates' way and sadly... *CRACK*, one of the pirates stepped on Lenny's glasses, breaking them in the process.
"AW, COME ON!" exclaimed Lenny in frustration as he got up and immediately followed the rest of the Rejects and Eds.
"Get them!" commanded Roark as the pirates went inside the lower decks in pursuit of the escaped Rejects and Eds until the only ones left remaining on the upper deck were Roark, Gale, Axel, Walsh, Merbius and Fighting Jackal Raider.
"I'm sorry captain…" said the first mate "I failed…" she said as she hung her head in disappointment.
"No… you didn't fail" said Roark frowning towards the entrance of the lower decks "We only underestimated them" he said "I have a feeling that they'll come back… and once they do… we'll be waiting" he said with a grin.
"Oh my~ It seems the Eds and Rejects have gotten themselves into quite the pinch" said the voice of Nexus Lupin.
"Will they be able to get out of it and go back home to Eartheon? Well… you'll have to find out next time~" said Nexus mischievously.
"Oh! And if you think Gage having revealed to be an android and Amunet becoming the Fighting Jackal Raider was the only surprise, think again… because the next chapter is where things will start to get really~ exciting" he added with a grin.
"Adieu~!"

That's all for this chapter. In all honestly, I wasn't technically done writing this. I noticed how long I was making this chapter and I didn't mind at first. But then I noticed that the 1st half of this chapter was somehow exciting enough and so I decided to cut off the other half and end it here.
Reason why is because well… let's just say you're gonna be in for a surprise once I finish the other half in which will be the next chapter.
Better watch out because on the next chapter… things will really start to get interesting… and on the top of that… EXCITING!
