Gina sauntered down the stairs at the crack of noon the next day. Stefano had been on his way up to check on her when they had noticed each other. However, Stefano spoke first, "I was beginning to wonder if you were even here."

She reached him by the time he expressed his concern and placed her hand on his cheek, "Oh, Steffy, you worry too much."

"You must have been in very good company to be out at all hours." He had yet to appear placated.

Gina put her hands on her hips, "As a matter of fact…yes, I was." She then moved past him and entered the living room.

Stefano followed her, watching her pour herself some orange juice. "Tell me, my dear…who had the pleasure of having your attention all night."

She gazed at him over the rim of her glass and he swore he saw flashes of ecstasy in her eyes. "If you are worried that I've been harmed…clearly you see that is not the case."

He frowned, realizing that she was not going to give any of the details he sought. "Perhaps then you can share your time with me today." At that moment, the phone rang. Stefano was closer to it, so he answered it. "Hello?"

"I know she's there DiMera, so don't be shy about handing it over."

Stefano's lips curled into a smile, and Gina wondered what it was for. "Bo Brady, how intriguing." Gina's brow furrowed when she heard the name. She turned away, sipping her juice indicating that she was not going to take the call.

"Just put her on." Bo's voice demanded again.

Stefano put the phone to his chest and turned to Gina, "Well, Gina, if this is the man that charmed you last night…then he surely is a gentleman to call back right away after the date."

Gina shot him an appalled look for his insinuation. She knew he was just baiting her for the real person's name, but she knew better. "Certainly not, Stefano." She took another sip. "Tell him I am not interested."

Instead, he held the phone out to her. "Perhaps you should tell him yourself."

She realized that this was his way to punish her for her absence all night. Gina snatched the phone from him and then shooed him away for privacy. He obliged her with a chuckle. Once he was gone, Gina spoke to Bo. "You have two seconds of my attention, Brady."

"Ok then." He agreed. "Well, I was simply going to invite you to join me and Shawn-D for lunch today…at Salem Place. And I won't take no for an answer. So you can hang up on me, but I'll keep calling until you say yes."

Damn that Brady. He wants to pretend the family is together even if only for a moment. His delusions are fueling his stubbornness to not give up saving his Fancy Face. Gina set her juice down and gripped the edge of the tabletop. "Very well, Brady. I shall meet you there. But DO NOT expect ANYTHING."

"Wouldn't dream of doing that, Princess." He then hung up, leaving her extremely irked by how he addressed her.

Gina angrily slammed the phone down just as Stefano reentered the room. "My, my, we certainly have a temper."

Forgetting of her drink, she turned to Stefano. "I suppose I should have been prepared for the downside of returning to this degrading town." However, her thoughts quickly returned to last night and her anger was lifted. "But I must say that it is well worth it. Thank god I only have to endure a few more days."

"Yes, before you return to Europe…" Stefano began adding for her but he drifted off.

"Are you upset that I am leaving you behind, Steffy?" She approached him and curled her arms around his shoulders. His expression answered for him and she flashed him a pout. "You do know that you are more than welcome to visit anytime." She then dropped her right hand to be flat against his chest, "However, you DO have family here. And we can't forget precious Marlena, the Queen of your life. Even if she doesn't see it, she does need you around."

"And you seem so certain of this?" He raised his eyebrow at her. "Is there something you wish to share with me that I do not know, Gina?"

She looked at him innocently, "Steffy, Steffy, Steffy…I thought we had washed away the animosity between us." After receiving a nod of agreement, she stepped away from him. "But now, I'm expected for lunch. So unless, you want Brady calling back…I must leave." Stefano waved her free and watched her go.

"For the last time, Doc…all we had was dinner." John assured his love for what seemed like the millionth time. A knock on the door, deterred Marlena from protesting further. When John answered, he and Marlena were happy to see Greta.

"Greta! How nice of you to visit us!" Marlena beamed.

"I hope you don't mind me coming over unannounced." Greta timidly entered Marlena's penthouse.

"Of course not. You are welcome here." Marlena assured her. The three of them moved to sit at the couches.

"I see you are doing better." John commented after giving her a hug and seating himself next to Marlena.

Greta frowned, "What are you talking about?"

"Gina said that you were ill last night." John replied.

"I was with Shawn-D last night." She smiled when she spoke his name.

"Oh, splendid." Marlena smiled as well. "What were you two up to?"

Greta shook her head, "He gave me a tour of their boat. They did an amazing job."

"That it is." Marlena agreed.

"And then Bo showed up." Greta then turned serious. "Do you guys know about the party Stefano is hosting for my mother?"

"A party?" John squinted, feeling that he was told-but couldn't remember being told about it.

"I assume it's a going away type of party." Marlena looked worriedly at John. "She still plans on leaving? I thought you had convinced her to stay."

"I did." John replied offensively. "And there's no way of really telling what kind of party it is. It could simply just be a party to honor her."

Greta nodded in agreement. "I remember there seemed to be a lot of those for her. Everyone would throw a large event just to get her to visit." She looked at Marlena, "Bo and Shawn-D are hoping to use this party to reach Hope-since she'll be surrounded by those that love her."

"She will be." Marlena mused. "We've all been worried for Hope this past year."

"That's right." John added. "We'll all be glad once she is back with us."

Greta smiled sadly, "Because that is the right thing to do."

Marlena frowned in realization, "Oh, sweetheart…you'll be losing your mother again."

"No, don't worry…I'll be fine." Greta stood up, wanting to not get into that discussion.

"Well, if you are sure…" Greta sharply nodded at Marlena.

John then stood up. "When is this party?"

"Friday night." Greta replied, glad to have something else to talk about.

"That gives us only a couple days to get ready, Doc." He smiled at her and pulled her to her feet.

"Greta, you and I should go shopping for dresses." Marlena suggested.

"I would love to!" Greta beamed.

"First thing tomorrow then?" Marlena received a nod of agreement from Greta.
