One day Alice saw a vision of Bella jumping off a cliff. Edward saw this and instantly ran out of the house that they were at. Alice revealed that he was going to the Volturi, to be killed.
Alice wanted to be sure that Bella could of survive the jump off the cliff, then went to Fork and Evelyn went with her at Jasper's request as he still felt guilty at what happened at Bella's birthday.
Bella's dad wasn't at home which made it easier to get in. They heard the familiar sound of Bella's truck down the road which gave them a bit of hope that she was alive. They the heard two doors opening and the heard one shut with a loud bang.
When Bella entered the house she did a double take when she saw Alice and Evelyn. Bella immediately went to hug Alice. Who quickly broke the hug to ask, "Would you like to explain how you are alive?" Which then confused Bella and then mumbled that she was cliff jumping. Which neither believed. When Bella walked past Evelyn she then smelled like a wet dog.
After a brief encounter with Jacob Black, Alice had told Bella that they need to go to Italy to save Edward from killing himself.
