Chapter 10: The battle of centuries.
Hanzo sliced the air with his katana a couple of times and hellfire cuts appeared from thin air, cutting the undying into a pile of burning flesh and organs. Instead of staying there, the pile of bloody mess turned into sand and restored Geras back into his based form. The yellow ninja was shocked by this. He knew that the immortal's puppets were able to withstand hellfire but none of them could restore their body after getting cut to pieces with a hellfire blade. Hanzo must put down this monster as soon as possible.
Scorpion sent a few hellfire tornadso at his enemy with his burning wind dust katana. Before the tornados could touch Geras, Hanzo felt a fist impacted on his mask, sending him though five trees and stopped at the sixth one.
'He could teleport?' The ninja wondered as he stood back up.
The ground was then moving as if they were spiky tidal waves. Scorpion teleported upwards to dodge the spikes. Large pieces of ground were sent flying towards him. The yellow ninja then stepped on them to jump from one to another to reach Geras. As soon as he struck his flaming katana down, his foe disappeared. He looked to his left and saw a piece of land as large as a Goliath hitting his body, forcing him to let go of his blade.
Geras was pushing that boulder with Hanzo on with a tremendous speed. Scorpion looked behind to see that the piece of the ground that he was on was coming towards the mountain and teleported to his right to avoid being squashed. Hanzo teleported behind Geras before drawing his gravity dust infused tanto with his left hand and sunk it into the giant's right wrist. The ninja then used hellfire to activate the dust before releasing it, forcing the undying to fall forwards.
Scorpion then did a back-flip moon kick and sent Geras backward, ripping the giant's arm that was still impaled by the tanto. The ninja picked up his tanto and sheathed it before teleporteing behind the undying and sent a left flaming knee at his back, causing him to stagger forward. The yellow ninja then teleported in front of Geras and superman punched him in the face with his burning left hand. He then threw a flaming right hook at his enemy's face and a flaming left hook, which was caught by Geras's right hand.
The undying then covered his left knee with rocks and kneed Scorpion in the guts. After that, he covered both of his arms in rocks and brought them down upon Hanzo. As the ninja stood up, a stone spike came from the ground and impaled his left shoulder. Scorpion screamed in pain before getting kicked by the giant's right rock covered leg and flew backwards and hit the stone wall Geras summoned, creating a large crack on it.
As he was standing up, he was punched in the guts and sent through the stone wall. He couldn't even see the hit coming at him. But if the hit was that fast, it would've broken a couple of Scorpion ribs instead of one. It was at this moment, Hanzo realized that Geras's ability was not teleportation but rather stopping time. But why didn't Geras just stop time and kill him or just simply dodged the attack? Unless, he couldn't stop time for too long and couldn't do so while getting hit continuously. The ninja coughed up blood as his enemy approached him.
Scorpion then jumped at the undying and booted him in the chest. After that, he backhanded Geras in the face with his left hand and used the same hand to punch him in the ribs and a left hook to the face. Hanzo continued his assault with a right hook in the giant's face and a left jab. Geras pushed the jab away with his right hand and threw a right jab at Scorpion and covered his left hand in rocks, turning it into a hammer before bringing it down upon the yellow ninja.
Hanzo fell to the ground and saw his katana lying close to him. He picked it up as he rolled away from the giant's stomp. Scorpion got back onto his feet as swiped right at the undying's torso with his burning katana and brought it down again at the same spot before sheathing it. He stabbed both scorpion kunai into Geras's eye sockets and booted him away with his left leg before dragging him back with the chains connected to the kunai. Hanzo then booted the back of the kunais with his right leg and pulled them out of the giant's splitted skull and retracted them back into his gauntlets. The ninja summoned hellfire from both of his palms and shot them into Geras's wound, exploding the giant's stomach area, revealing his spine and intestines.
Scorpion then channeled hellfire throughout his body and fire was bursting out of him. Geras was slowly recovering from that attack but as soon as his head was back to normal, a distant sound of gunfire was heard and his head was blown up again. Hanzo turned to the source of the sound and saw Erron Black standing at the distance with his rifle raised and shouting at him.
"WHATEVER THE HELL YOU'RE DOING TO TAKE THIS UNKILLABLE CUNT DOWN, DO IT FAST! MY GUNS AIN'T GONNA HOLD HIM DOWN FOR LONG!" Erron screamed as he continued to shoot the undying's head off.
Scorpion listened to him and continued to channel hellfire throughout his body to create a portal to the Netherrealm. The moment Erron realised that his rifle was out of ammo, he quickly switched to his revolver and shot at Geras's eye sockets. Taking advantage of Erron's weapon switch, the undying got to his feet and dodged to the right to avoid the projectiles and charged at the cowboy. But, before he could even reach Erron, his body was impaled by a familiar set of kunai. Erron shot again at the giant's eyes, blowing his head off again.
"GET OVER HERE!" Scorpion screamed as he dragged Geras through the hell portal.
As soon as the undying was dragged through the portal, Hanzo jumped through it and was met with a demon. It bowed to him and asked.
"What is it that you need, my lord?"
"Gather half of your troops and do whatever it takes to slow this monster down." The ninja ordered.
"As you wish, my lord." The demon said as thousands of demons rose from nowhere. Their number could easily cover a mountain.
"You fool. It was never my intention to kill you. It was only my second priority. My intention was to destroy the four kingdoms and find the Maidens. Now that you have been stalled long enough and lost most of your energy, you cannot stop what is coming." Geras declared.
"All troops, kill this foul creation." Hanzo said as he teleported away to channeled hellfire throughout his body again to return to Remnants.
The demons then looked at the giant with killing intentions as he readied himself. One demon then laughed at him.
"You cannot win this battle. There are thousands of us and only one of you." It declared. A wave of stone spikes then washed over and killed some unlucky demons that stood close to Geras.
"Then it's a fair fight." The undying stated.
Beacon Academy, 10 minutes ago.
Headmaster Ozpin was sitting at his table and sipping his coffee until he noticed an earthquake. Professor Goodwitch then rushed into his office from the elevator and reported.
"Headmaster Ozpin, there has been reports of an earthquake and some fire tornados somewhere close to Patch. There has also been a report that a Kaijuu-class Grimm is approaching the academy from the southside. Do you think that this is Salem's doing?"
"I believe so. She is attacking our most powerful Huntsman. We need to evacuate Vale. Send Gretchen to take down the Grimm." Ozpin ordered.
"The new Fall Maiden? Ozpin! She isn't ready!" Glynda was suprised by the headmaster course of action.
"There's nothing we can do. Gretchen is the Fall Maiden and she must destroy the Grimm or else this kingdom will fall!" Ozpin declared.
Glynda wanted to say something, anything that would change the headmaster's mind but she could not think of any. She could only watch as the headmaster sent a student into battle to die by the witch's hand without being able to do anything.
Back to Erron Black in the forest
The ground was shaking and the sky darkened. Erron looked afar and saw a ball-like Grimm that was walking on two limbs getting hit by different colors of flames. The creature's length was at least 100 meters and height was about 50 meters. This thing was fighting something in a blue shirt. He activated his Semblance to find a flying woman fighting the damn thing.
"Shhhit. Gotta get Ren and Nora outta the town" Erron said outlout as he ran toward Vale's school.
Hanzo's POV
Hanzo teleported to Taiyang's house and saw him leaving with the two children. They were on an evacuation Bullhead. It appears that someone was fighting a Kaijuu-class Grimm. It didn't matter to the ninja, he couldn't do anything. His energy ran dry after teleporting back from the Netherrealm and he was tired. Despite the fact that hellfire recovered his wounds, his tiredness remained the same. Hanzo sat down next to a tree and expected a miracle to happen. He was too tired to stand up.
