Title: Lil sick fo today
At an old, abandoned apartment building, a man named Bob is knocking the building down with a wrecking ball, he chuckled a bit. "Ah, I love being paid to smash some shit! Gotta love this job.", he said as he used the wrecking ball to destroy another part...
Then suddenly a figured stepped out of the hole, you could tell this figure was a male due to his height and build, and was noticeably a strange looking man with bluish skin, a goatee, and black hair kept long and messy. Also, he had overgrown, blackened fingernails and fanged teeth. He wore a black hooded shirt with a beetle on the front, a pair of blue-grey pants with the knees torn out, and a brown leather coat torn at the shoulders. His name was Clancy
One of the men noticed this and stopped his partner from doing it again. You could tell that this man had these cockroaches and spiders crawling all over him harmlessly and paying no mind to his movements. "Get out of our home.", he said with a calm yet venomous tone.
"Heh, yeah right. Listen pal.", Bob hopped out of his vehicle and crossed his arms. "This building is condemned by order of Councilwoman Liang."
"Yeah, so move it or lose it.", Joe said as he looked annoyed and kinda mad this guy was making this a lot harder than it already was. "This place is coming down."
Infuriated and releases a swarm of wasps from his sleeves. The bugs chase down Bob and they lift him up to Clancy. Bob tells him to put him down, but Clancy replies with a threat if they continue what they are doing. "If you think we're bugging you know, just you wait!", he said with a sickly grin as a centipede crawled onto his face then nodded along with him.
In another part of the city, a sick Alex sneezed, rubbing his nose with his sleeve. Why? Easy, Alex had been chasing a thief with the help of Rush... and may or may not gave into temptation and ate some ice cream inside a cold ass ice cream truck, you'd think he'd be smarter than this but, not really.
Alice snickered at his predicament which earned a glare from Alex. "Oi, don't make me sneeze on you.", he said before coughing out his lungs again.
"Maybe you'll think twice before having snack time in an ice cream truck.", Alice shot back with a grin, earning a facepalm.
"Where are we goin again?", Alex looked at his grandfather who snickered a little bit.
"Easy, I'll be giving you my San Ju Yen Pien cold medication.", Max said having a fond- if not slight embarrassed- look on his face. "In short, Chinatown."
In Chinatown, a celebration is occurring. A dragon dance is taking place, as well as a parade of people in costumes. Alex, Alice, and Max leave a store just after the parade passes. "Y'know it's so difficult to find fresh potaigadon root, since it's freeze-dried these days."
Alex coughed a bit and rubbed his throat. "Ugh, can I get a cough drop or a milkshake or somethin? My throat is killing me."
"Don't worry stinkweed honey in the San Ju Yen Pien will do the trick.", Max said as he handed him the medication, Alex unscrewed the cap and took a wiff... god it was repulsive.
"Where'd you learn this anyways?", Alice asked as Max just shrugged.
"I learned this from a monk when I was in Guangdong China.", Max said as all he received from her was a blank stare. "What? They have to deal with aliens too y'know."
"Ladies and gentlemen.", on a nearby platform, an Asian-American woman who wears a blue executive outfit with a pencil skirt, heels, gold earrings, and a gold necklace. This was Councilwoman Liang. "I'd like to thank all of you for your support on my downtown redevelopment program. It's truly a dream come true.", her speech is interrupted by a swarm of wasps, and they scare off the crowd. Clancy then flies up, riding on a cloud of wasps.
"Better make that a nightmare councilwoman.", Clancy grinned maliciously as his wasp friends kept chasing everyone down, boxes tip over as this happen. "You're not tearing down our apartment building! We won't let you!"
Liang looked up and got a closer look at his face and came to the realization. "You're the nutjob who wouldn't leave!"
"Good to know we made a great impression.", Clancy said flashing a wide toothy grin that almost looked painful. His eyes glowed an ominous green once more, and in response, a large colony of wasps gather around her and lift her in the air.
She gasps as she was turned upside down as soon as she was in front of Clancy. "Would you like to be served with or without a topping? You're the main course after all."
Alex looked up, already feeling exhausted. He stumbled to his feet, activated the Omnitrix and transformed into Kracklsacean.
Kracklsacean however, had bags under his eyes, his mouth looked like it was frowning and he looked extremely exhausted. "Oh dear.", the giant crab rubbed one of his brain plates as he started walking with his crabby legs. Groaning a bit. "It appears my sickness has begun affecting my extraterrestrial transformations. Kracklsacean... ugh... seems to be suffering from a cephalgia. Quite the annoying inconvenience."
Despite his headache, the giant crab boi opened his skull plates to reveal his pulsating brain. He shot out an electrical blast from his brain, which caused him to immediately shut it and breath heavily
"Alex, transform into something else!", Max yelled out.
"How come that idea escaped me?", Kracklsacean rolled his eyes and slammed onto his Omnitrix emblem and transformed into Rush... who looked skinnier. "Much better.", Rush said giving them a... claws up? He sneezed a bit and sped off... albeit he hadn't gone very far considering his speed was lowered drastically, and he passed out, reverting to human form.
Alex looked very unhappy in the RV, not only was he sick but his Aliens too? Yeah, he probably should've gotten rid of the thing earlier. "Here, drink this.", Max said as he handed him the medication, Alex took a sniff before gagging. "Don't worry, it smells worse than it taste... or the other way around. Anyways, I'm not just worried for you. It seems like your little bug has affected the Omnitrix and the aliens inside. Who knows what happened to them."
Alex took a gulp of it, getting halfway through before stopping and reeling back. "That is so gross."
"Don't worry. After ten or so doses, you get used to it... trust me.", Max said having full experience of it, he knew well enough it tasted like shit and smelled worse... or the other way around.
"Y'know, I can't tell which is worse. Being sick or the cure.", Alex said coughing a bit.
"Got it.", Alice had been researching not only Clancy, but the apartment building. "Theres only one apartment building downtown scheduled for demolition, its at 8610 Chester Street."
"What Gramps doesn't know, won't hurt me.", Alex said as he sneaked the San-Ju-Yen-Pein medicine in a drawer.
"P-Please... don't hurt me.", Liang said, near tears as black widows were crawling all over her.
Clancy stepped out of the shadows. "I remember in my earlier days in childhood, I heard great grandfather built this place. Although it had too many bugs to count, I liked it here... not the bugs at first.", he said as he pointed to some old equipment... an exterminator? "You see, I used to exterminate bug infestations. But the person before you shut down our business... I lost my home... my wife... and my children. But these bugs were always there for me no matter what, that was when I met a man, his name was Animo I think. He helped me understand my bug children more... those little friends of mine are the only things I have left. And this building is never going to come down!"
"Nice place to visit, just wouldn't wanna visit.", Alice said as the Tennant Team had made it to the apartment complex, they were wandering the old broken down hallways, it was basically falling apart. It was a hotbed of bugs as well.
Max then finds an article on the wall. It reads "BUGS SURVIVE NUCLEAR BLAST" and has appropriate pictures. "They've gotta be here somewhere."
Alice finds an insect nest nearby. "I think we're getting closer then."
"Wait... where's Alex?", Max said as the two started looking, they notice a shadow approaching and turn to the doorway. A large shadow covers them. A large figure with four eyes and horns approaches them.
"Welp, guess we're in The Fly now...", Alice said as she had watched that movie when she was little... wasn't the best experience.
But as soon as the figure stepped into the light, it was revealed to be a Strongarm, who's skin is a more pale orange color than the vibrant dark red. "Gotcha.", Strongarm said with a grin.
"HELP!"
The three of them quickly looked up. "That came from directly above us!", Max said as Strongarm simply broke his way through the door way, runs over to them and lifts up the two of them with his lower pair of arms.
Alice immediately gagged and covered her nose, Max did the same. Alex himself... was confused, he started sniffing his armpits. "It's your hives, the cold must've turned them into puss filled pockets of-" "Absolute shit."
"I can't help it! I'm sick.",!" Strongarm rolled all four of his eyes before leaping into the next floor.
They find Liang still covered in black widows, as soon as they approached she looked at them. "Stop... black widows.", she said trying to maintain her stillness despite an itch on her left ear.
"There's gotta be someway to help her.", Alice said scratching her chin. And... surprisingly luckily, Four Fist sneezed, shooting out green mucus on her, which takes care of the spiders. "... that works."
"Thanks...", despite the nature of the rescue, Liang wasn't complaining. Max helped her up before they turned to a shadowy figure.
"You. Are. Trespassing.", Clancy said as his eyes glowed again. A large colony of fire ants started to emerged, turned into the shape of a fist and punched and hissed at them. "We will rule mankind!"
Max's keen senses alerted him of something, so he immediately leapt out of the way before the fire ants could attack. Alice looked down to see termites, before falling to the floor and hanging by a ledge. "SHIT!" She blurted our before Liang helped her up.
"You wanna be King?", Strongarm got back up and popped his neck. "Get ready to be crowned!", the sick Tetramand said charging at him, Clancy in response rallies his ants again and they swarm on Strongarm's legs, an uncomfortable groan escaped Strongarm as he scratched swatting them away. "Ants in my pants!", in response he started scratching wildly at them, and ends up knocking over many of the building's support beams.
"You're destroying our home!", Clancy yelled out as Four Fist kept scratching and ignored this, the more he thrashed around the more the guiding seemed to shake, before falling apart rapidly. "We have to get out of here!", Liang said as Max shook his head.
"Not enough time!", Max said as the building collapsed on them.
"NOO!!!!", Clancy scratched at his face as skin was starting to peel off, his bug buddies started to swarm him to protect their master.
Once the building had collapsed completely, a large piece of rubble was being lifted up, this was Strongarm lifts up a rather large slab of concrete, shielding the others from the collapse, he fell onto his back and patted as he reverts to Alex in a red flash. He sits back up and scratches his head. "Good thing I reverted after that."
Nearby however, Clancy emerged from the rubble covered in insects, he grabbed them... but they didn't move, all of the insects that saved him were dead. "No. No. NO!", he growled as he stood up. "You will all be sorry, we are going to exterminate this whole city!", Clancy uses his powers to summon a humongous swarm of wasps to pick him up, leave the scene.
"... this has been the weirdest day ever.", Liang said as Alice laughed a bit.
"Welcome to our world.", Alice said crossing her arms with a smile.
"Where'd that four armed, smelly monster go? I wanted to thank him.", Liang said, looking around for what should've been the equivalent of a black guy in an all white crowd.
"We'll let him know.", Max said as he turned his head from Alex to Liang. "Can you find your way back?", this earned a nod before she walked off.
"So, where'd ya think bug brain escaped to?", the fourteen year old Omnitrix wielder looked up to his towering grandfather.
"...", Max looked around, his gaze finally landed on a nuclear power plant in the distance. "There's only one way to exterminate an entire city at once..."
Team Tennant were on the way to the Power Plant as quickly as possible. Alex was shivering violently in the passenger seat. "Turn on the heat Grandpa, it's freezing in here."
"It's already on Alex, Jesus you're shaking like an earthquake.", Max said with a little chuckle before turning to Alice. "Get him another dose of my San Ju Yen Pien medicine."
Alex perked up immediately. "Oh, uh, I just finished it off. All gone by now, sure it's gonna start working any minute now.", he said as he forced himself to stop shivering.
"Huh, look at that.", Alice muttered to herself before raising her voice again. "Ants can lift ten times their own body weight, grasshoppers can leap over a hundred times their length, and cockroaches can hold their breath for an hour."
"Dang, those little shits are tough. But all we gotta do is just burn em.", Alex said as he popped his neck, which felt a lot better considering it felt strained.
They arrive at the nuclear plant and searched around for Clancy. The lights go off for a moment, and it comes back on, followed by an alarm. [Core temperature rising, approaching critical].
"He must've been fooling around the reactors controls. Let's go!", Max said as they run to the control room, only to find the controls destroyed. "Dammit, all the controls are smashed, we gotta shut it down manually. Just outside the reactor core there's an manual override system."
"Want me to use Daft Punk or Brainstorm?", Alex activates the Omnitrix and was scrolling for them.
"So you three are down for front row seats aye?", they turned to see Clancy at the doorway. "You all must be wondering why I'd do this if I'll be caught up in it as well. Then you haven't read up on the fact cockroaches can survive a nuclear explosion.", the bug man said as cockroaches started to crawl out of his clothing and onto his entire body. The bugs began to wrap around him like a makeshift suit. "Good thinking dont you think? We'll be snug as bugs in a rug."
"Clever, but what's that to fire?", Alex said as he turned the dial again and slammed down on Hotshot's silhouette.
After the green flash dissipated, Alice notices something about his Pyronite form. Instead of the bright, roaring flames that just emerged from fucking hell itself... they were a lightening blue. "Hey... um... you got yourself a-"
"We don't have time for that, you guys shut down the reactor, I got bugs for brains here.", Hotshot said as he lunged at the now bug armored Clancy before being smacked away. The muscular mass of bugs slowly approached him as Max and Alice run off.
"You can't escape us.", Clancy said as a swarm of angry hornets started chasing them.
"Alright then.", Hotshot said as he got up and prepared to launch a fire ball. "Time to turn up the heat around here- ACHOO!", he sneezed and fired... no... nothing came out. He looked at his hands. "Oh shit! The cold... it froze my flames!", he said before being punched.
In a hallway, Alice and Max are fleeing from a swarm of hornets before hearing the voice again. [Meltdown in five minutes]. The two finally approach the end of the hall and find a hose, Alice pulled it off as Max turned it on, they used this to spray them down.
Going back to Hotshot, he was thrown into a control consul and bounced right off it. He stumbled up and used the consul to support him. He looked over at Clancy nervously. "Hey hey...", he pointed his hand at him so he could stop. "Maybe we could talk about this?", Hotshot said as a sudden ice blast shot out from his palm. "... oh. I guess this makes me Freezerburn now?"
Back at Alice and Max, they make it at the main reactor room, yet to be followed by more insects. At this point, they only have one minute left to spare, intensifying the situation.
Freezerburn shot out another ice beam at Clancy's arm, which was snapped off. Angered, Clancy charged at him at full speed and tackled him out of the control room and put into the reactor room.
Alice was busying herself by sweeping the bugs away from Max so he could manually shut it down, she was dripping with sweat at that point. "Grandpa! I can't hold them off much longer!"
[Meltdown in: Thirty seconds]
Suddenly, a blast of ice was coating the bugs entirely, Freezerburn had made himself an icicle so he could slide down and inadvertently saved them. Once he made it to solid ground he, bore a cheeky grin. "Anyone call for a hero?"
"So this is one of the more useful abilities I guess.", Alice said tossing her broom aside.
"Apparently for some Aliens, getting a cold isn't just an expression.", Freezerburn said giving her a thumbs up.
"I can't override it! The controls have overheated.", Max said as he turned his head to see Clancy charging at him. "Alex! Look out!", he yelled out to his grandson. Who immediately turned and shot out an ice energy ball, which immediately froze him.
[Core melt down in: Ten seconds]
"Stand clear, I've got an idea!", Freezerburn said as the automated voice started counting down. Right as that happened he started blasting the core with his ice power, he managed to cover it up entirely before it the countdown was completed.
[Core temperature dropping]
"Alright!" "Nice one Alex.", his cousin and grandfather said as Freezerburn fell to his knees and sneezed again.
"Thanks... now can I get some hot chocolate or somethin?", Freezerburn sneezed once again. "I'm kinda cold here."
In the end of all of this, the trio drove off with Alex now nice and healthy again, thanks to that little steam knocking out his cold. Alice was getting some milk before noticing a cockroach crawl out from under. "Sorry Mister Roach.", she said as she was about to stomp on it.
Suddenly, more insects started to crawl out from everywhere, cockroaches specifically. Alex leapt up and transformed into Diamondbreaker immediately, he looked to the RV door to see Clancy step in. Covered in head to toe in his bug suit again, however he was smaller. "We didn't appreciate that cold shoulder you gave us brat!"
Max was ready to clock him right in the face but Clancy grabbed his arm and threw him back before approaching him. "He must've thawed out-", suddenly, the Omnitrix times out... right, Alex must've slammed it too hard and made it randomize the time limit again. "Alright, plan B!"
Clancy was busy choking out Max before he looked towards Alex, who was holding up the San-Ju-Yen-Pein over his head. The aroma was so... alluring, which caused the bugs to spread their wings and fly towards him. "Wait... what's happening?! Stop!", he tried to command them again but they ignored it.
As soon as they got near him Alex threw the medicine out the window. "Go get it fellas!", he yelled out as the bugs followed the medicine, right into the ocean.
Clancy was dripping in sweat before turning to Max, who had an aura of pure anger around him. "U-Uh, hey, let's talk about this.", he said nervously before getting clocked right into the face and flying out the RV.
"Good, that guy was really starting to bug me.", Alice quipped before sneezing. "... oh no.", Alex merely laughed at the timing.
"And that's what happens when you make bug puns.", Alex said as he sat back down as Max went to call the police.
