Hello. The hell known as college exams still hasn't finished, so I'm trying to write stuff to avoid losing my mind any further instead of studying for tomorrow's exam uwu Also, I finally got my driver's licence, yeay! :D
I'm quite happy for this piece, it's the first time I managed to keep it at exactly 100 words (without including the title, because I usually don't include the title). In the rare times she wakes up early before him, when her body decides to spare her the headache and the dizziness morning usually brings, she stares.
At him. His sleeping face. A sight only she has the privilege to see.
A silent moment of peace in a world splattered with blood, dried and fresh.
A stolen moment of silent happiness she gladly takes, for it's the only thing they can afford right now, ignoring the inexorable outcome of the war.
She crawls closer to him and closes her eyes. For now, she will keep enjoying this moment with him.
