TRIAL BY COMBAT
The day had finally come and the Vampires gather on an open field covered by snow. "The red coats are coming the red coats are coming." Garret says as the Volturi emerge from the forest in their black and grey robes .
Through the group of approaching Vampires Bree immediately spots Jane. As the Volturi arrive a howl echoes across the field and the Wolves show up. Bree snorts at their smell. "Oh God they stink." Xavier says.
"Its even worse when they are in groups." Erick says.
"Shush." Carlisle says. The two groups stand fifty feet apart.
"Aro is looking for Alice." Edward says.
Carlisle walks forward a few feet, "Aro let us discuss things as we use to. In a civilized manner."
"Fair words Carlisle…considering the battalion you have assembled against us."
"I can promise you that was not my intent. No laws have been broken."
"We see the child. Do not treat us as fools." Caius angrily replies.
Bree is hiding behind Xavier, Luanne and Erick. She steps out so that Jane can see her. "She is not an immortal child!" Carlisle yells raising his voice.
Jane walks over to Aro, "Master…forgive me. That is the girl. She is here."
Aro raises his hand stopping Carlisle from speaking, "It would seem Carlisle that you have been harboring a fugitive from Volturi justice…Come here girl."
"No!" She defiantly replies.
"It was not a request." When she doesn't move, Aro looks at Jane and nods.
"Pain."
Bree falls to her knees, but it stops, because Bella shields her from Jane's power. Bree stands up and teleports. She reappears by Jane grabbing her then she vanishes again. She reappears by her comrades and with great satisfaction twists Jane's head until it comes off. "No!" Alec yells as Bree tosses her lifeless body over to the wolves who proceed to rip apart the rest of her body.
Alec unleashes his sensory depriving cloud, but it is blocked by Bella. Bree teleports her mother behind the Volturi and then teleports away as she unleashes her sonic scream. The Vampires in the back take the brunt of the force and are torn apart. Those in the front and off to the sides grab their ears and fall to their knees. "Our sister! Get our sister!" Tanya begs to Bree.
She teleports again grabs Irina and reappears behind the group. Before the rest of the Volturi can recover Luanne hits them with a second blast. "Let's take them down!" Vladimir yells leading the charge.
"No!" Carlisle yells.
Bella looks at Edward, "For Renesmee." She starts running, then she is joined by Edward, Garret, Emmette, the two nomads Peter and Charlotte. The wolves attack as well, then the rest join in. Bree teleports behind Felix and roars breaking his leg and then rips his head off. She grabs a torch off the ground and lights him on fire. "You bitch!" Alec yells grabbing her. She teleports away and Alec is tackled by Xavier
"Help us fight the Volturi." He commands and Alec blankly obeys. Benjamin hurls balls of fire at his enemies to weaken them or he throws fire at Vampires who are broken. Kate grabs Caius and electrocutes him. Then Garret and Tanya walk up and rip him apart. Benjamin finishes him off with fire. Zafrina makes multiple illusions of herself causing the Volturi to attack their own people.
Marcus is killed by Vladimire and Stefan. As the battle goes on Renesmee is guarded by Jacob in his wolf form, Carlisle Esme and Rosalie. The Wolves make their presence known and many of the Volturi fall to their teeth. A few of the Volturi try to escape but are chased down. The fight ends with Aro on his knees with Xavier, Emmette, Kate guarding him, and Alec using his powers on Aro. The rest of the Vampires pile up the bodies to be burned.
"Alec help me!"
"I am sorry Master…I am bound by the voice of the Vampire Xavier to obey him."
"Carlisle…My old friend!" He pleads.
Carlisle walks across the field and stands in front of Aro. "You came here to destroy my family and take my daughter."
"I was going to put you on trial…Hear all the evidence." He desperately says.
"He's lying!" Maggie says as she reattaches her arm. She has the ability to tell when someone is lying.
"Maggie can sense the truth Aro." Siobhan says with her Irish accent.
"He's ours to kill." Vladimir says.
"Stop!" They turn to see Alice and Jasper walking across the field with two Vampires.
"Alice!" Bell runs up and hugs her.
"He has to die!" Stefan says.
"He's too dangerous to be left alive." Stefan says.
"By all means kill him." Alice coldly replies, "He needs to see the truth first." Alice waves to Renesmee who comes forward and touches Aro. She shows him everything from her birth to now.
"I…That witch told me you created an immortal child!"
"I…I thought the Cullens…I am so sorry." Tanya and Kate comfort Irina.
"My name is Nehuel…This is my Aunt Huilen. Long ago a Vampire seduced my mother. She became pregnant and died giving birth to me…My Aunt raised me and then I made her an immortal."
"How old are you?" Bella asks.
"I am one hundred and fifty-five years of age…Your daughter will age until she reaches twenty-five then she will stop…The process takes seven years."
"I did not know such a thing was possible." Carlisle says.
"Now may we kill him?" Vladimire asks.
