Chapter Ten
"So", said Palpatine, "what has been happening recently."
"Well", said Bilbo Baggins, "Last week everyone in Hobbiton except for me was brutally murdered by an unknown person. It was a very traumatic experience for me."
"Any more details?", Palpatine asked curiously.
"Yes", replied Bilbo, "it was the middle of the night and I was woken up by the sound of someone screaming. When I looked out of my window, all I saw was a bright red light."
"It must have been the clones lightsaber", said Palpatine.
"Listen", said Bilbo, "you keep on using these words I don't understand. Can you please explain them to me?"
Palpatine then realised that he must have been in another galaxy as he had never met anyone who knew as little as Bilbo Baggins did.
"First of all", said Paplatine, "a lightsaber is the weapon of the Jedi and Sith."
Palpatine then realised that he needed to explain what the Jedi and Sith were.
"You see", said Palpatine, "the Jedi are evil and the Sith are good. We must destroy all the Jedi because if we don't, they would destroy the entire universe."
"Are the Jedi really that bad?", Bilbo asked curiously.
"Yes", replied Palpatine, "pretty much."
"Can you now tell me what a gungan is?", asked Bilbo.
But before Palpatine could tell Bilbo what a gungan was, Bilbo suddenly faded into nothingness.
Then, Jar Jar's clone appeared.
"You!", Palpatine said angrily, "what happened to Bilbo Baggins?"
"I simply thought him out of existence", replied the clone, "anyone I wish no longer existed can simply just disappear. It is much more convenient than killing them with a lightsaber."
"Can you bring him back?", Palpatine asked angrily.
"Yes", replied the clone, "but why should I? The world will be a much better place without him."
"You're crazy", said Palpatine.
Suddenly, Palpatine was handcuffed to a table in an unrecognisable space shuttle.
"Where am I?", asked Palpatine.
"You are on my ship", replied the clone, "I'm taking you to my planet. You must follow my orders."
