Chapter 17

The two of them got to lower Stark Street. The saw a large white male walking down the side walk. He had a male tank top on and had a huge pot belly. His jeans were two sides too small and his combat boots where untied. He had an unlit cigarette hanging out of his mouth.

"let's get him." Jake and Eddy got out of the Crown Vic and opened the door. "Hey, your fat ass over here." Eddy yelled. He saw them and he started to run.

"Come on." Eddy yelled and then they chased after him.

All of a sudden someone opened a car door, and the fat ass ran into it. Joyce Barnhart stepped out of her car. "Ops, Bail Bond agent." She spoke.

"Thanks for the help Barnhart." Eddy said as he came up and both Jake Teagon and Eddy helped him up and cuffed him. They both walked him to the Crown Vic and brought him to the station.

"Fuck" Joyce Barnhart yelled. She got back into car and left.

"Why is she so upset" Jake asked.

"Because she can't collect the bond on him, that why she is upset" Eddy told him.

They drove to the station, and went in the back way to the interrogation room, where Eddy was going to start the interrogation.

"All right, just listen to me, I have spent an hour and god knows how long in the toughest gym there is in New Jersey, so I feel like I can take on the world right now. So, the best thing you can do for your self is to tell us everything you know." Eddy told the fat man."

"All right, I will tell you what I know, and that. That lady the threw a door in my face a little earlier, is the one who paid me to stab the fat black lady. The one that wears too small halter tops and miniskirts. But I chickened out, I saw where she was living and decided to leave her along. I figured she had a lot of worse problems other than me. A big tall guy came into her apartment, and said that she owed him money because she was his girl. Can I go now?" He asked.

"You have a warrant for indecent exposure so you will be under arrest for that." Jake Teagon told him.

The two detectives walked out of the interrogation room shaking their heads.

Meanwhile at Rangeman, "Tank get in here for a moment." Ranger told him.

"What is up Boss?" Tank asked.
"Can you help me figure something out here. I am looking at the pictures of Joyce Barnhart. Something is not looking right. We have her opening a door over him." Ranger pointed to the fat guy, and then Tank saw Eddy and Jake cuffing the fat guy.

"He was wanted by Vinny's" Tank said. "I know that, but I just found out that he gave some kind of confession to the cops. I have a copy of it right here." Ranger handed the confession for Tank to read.

"That is weird because Lula has not been a prostitute for at least ten years now so what is going on?" Tank told Ranger

"I will go speak to my cousin, you get back to the station and talk to this guy." Ranger pointed to the fat man on the bulletin board.

"This Should be fun" Tank said as he left his boss's office.
