Chapter 9 - Mirror Match

Heidern, Rugal and Ling were face to face with Mirror Heidern who was pissed about the destruction of the teleport device.

"Do you realize what you have done?" - Mirror Heidern

"Trap you and your pals here forever. There's nowhere to run now, you bastard." - Rugal

"You really think that gives you any advantage? Hahaha! You have just sealed your fate." - Mirror Heidern snaped his fingers in that moment alot of crooks appeared with one of the scientists giving him the container of the virus

"Keep them busy while I go out to a business trip, boys. When I return I want to see their heads stacked as trophies." - Said Mirror Heidern running towards a military jeep escaping the scene

In that moment Heidern's soldiers arrived and a shooting starts between them and NEST's crooks.

"Rugal, come with me. We can't let that maniac escape! Ling, go help K' and the rest." - Said Heidern taking one of the military jeeps that were outside the cave alongside Rugal

"But you will need me to deactive the jericho." - Ling

"Don't worry about us, I still remember how we have to deactive it. Go help them, they will need a hand with the Inferno Force." - Rugal

"Alright. Good luck." - Said Ling running towards the cave

In that moment Mirror Leona appeared out of the cave aiming a RPG at the jeep where Heidern and Rugal were but before she could shot she was punched by Leona. Making Mirror Leona drop her weapon.

"Arggh! You bitch." - Said Mirror Leona to Leona and Ling

"Ling, go with K' and the rest. I'll handle this scum." - Leona

Ling entered the cave. In that moment Clark, Ralf and Whip appeared to fight against the NEST's crooks but their other selfs also show up

Rugal and Heidern started to chase Mirror Heidern through the forest.

"Where is he going?" - Rugal

"Just keep driving and don't lose him." - Heidern

Meanwhile in sector eight

"How is she even here? Shouldn't she be dead." - Ramon

"Idiot! Is clear this must the Angel of the this world." - Seth

"I don't know what are you talking about or why are you three working for these NEST rats but I'm tired of playing around." - Angel

K', Maxima and Kula were in the exit of sector eight watching Angel fighting against the Agent team. In that moment Blaze appeared behind them.

"Is that Angel?" - Blaze

"You know her too?" - Maxima

"She was a friend of mine back when I worked for NEST during the time Rugal was in coma. She was killed by the Inferno Force during one mission." - Said Blaze remembering the Angel of her world

"We should help her." - Blaze runned towards the agent team to help Angel

"She must be nuts if she thinks I'm gonna help that Angel witch after what she did to Foxy." - Said Kula remembering the events of 2001

"Listen, I don't want to help her like you. But we can't just stay here and watch. Lets move out or.." - K'

"Or what?" - Said Kula crossing her arms refusing to move

"I won't buy you ice cream..." - Said K' with a facepalm

"Okay lets do this." - Kula

"I swear this girl pisses me off sometimes." - Said K' to Maxima

Blaze jumped to help Angel in the fight against the agent team.

"If it isn't Blaze. The boss will be happy when we bring her corpse to him." - Vanessa

"This is were the road ends for you three bastards!" - Blaze

"(Who the hell is this woman!? And why is she helping me?)" - Thought Angel

For Angel's surprise the Agent team from the other world were not match for Blaze. Blaze didn't had any mercy with them and quickly killed Ramon and Vanessa easily, leaving Seth as the last remaining opponent

"You damn bitch! I'm going to send you to hell." - Seth launched against Blaze

"Freeze!" - In that moment Blaze grabed the arm of Seth freezing him

Blaze punched the frozen body of Seth, breaking it into tiny bits for the surprise of the K' team and Angel

"Can she do that!?" - Angel

"Kula, did you let Blaze touch you without her gloves?" - Said Maxima to a nervous looking Kula

"It was Leona's idea, I swear!" - Kula

"What are you guys doing here?" - Said Angel to the K' team confused

"That's what we want to ask you. What is a NEST fugitive like you doing here?" - Maxima

"Well, I've been traveling around destroying the remaining bases of NEST. I hear rumors about one in Cambodia wich brought me here." - Angel

"Why are you destroying them? I thought you loved working for them." - Maxima

"I'm not that Angel anymore, after what they did to a friend I promised him I would free the world from NEST." - Angel

"Whatever, the quicker we get this over with the better." - K'

"Alright. Can you explain me what is happening here? And who is she?" - Angel pointed towards Blaze

"My name is Blaze, you might not recognize me but in my world we were great friends." - Said Blaze to a confused Angel

"Long story short, we are fighting against invaders from another world." - Maxima

"What?" - Angel

"We will explain you later." - Maxima

Unfortunately for K' and the rest in that moment the Inferno Force arrived

"Well, look at this big NEST family reunion." - Kyosuke

"All those NEST freaks finally reunited. How cute!" - Athenea

"Angel, are you ready to die again?" - Terrence

"What are you doing here? Don't tell me these are NEST's clones!?" - Angel

"Clones? Hehehe, how small is your world." - Athenea

"Oh and Blaze is here too." - Kyosuke

"This time there's nothing that will save you, Blaze." - Kyosuke

"Damn you, Kusanagi!" - Blaze

In that moment Ling appeared opening one of the vents in the room.

"Wait! We can't fight them here, is too dangerous." - Ling

"Zero!?" - Angel

"Angel! Wait, are you the Angel of this world?" - Ling

"Of this world? Is this guy with you?" - Angel

"It doesn't matter, we need to get out of here. Remember what I say about fighting them in closed spaces?" - Ling

"Too late!" - Said Kyosuke creating a flame with his finger

"Kula, now!" - Blaze

Kula and Blaze created a ice wall between them and the Inferno Force, K' and the rest escaped to the exit of sector eight. The Inferno Force destroyed the ice barrier and started following them.

"After them!" - Kyosuke

Meanwhile on the outside

Leona and Mirror Leona had taken their fight to a deeper part of the forest while the shooting between Heidern's soldiers and NEST's soldiers continued in the background.

"Try to dodge this, sister." - Said Mirror Leona trying to shoot Leona with a gun

Leona easily dodged the bullets. With Mirror Leona running out of ammo, she dropped her gun and prepared herself to fight

"You have no idea how much I've been waiting for this, no more distractions! No more games! Just you and me!" - Mirror Leona

"There's no way I'll let you win." - Said Leona going into her battle stance

On the east part of the cave Whip was helping Heidern's soldiers in the shooting but she then was kicked by Mirror World's Whip sending her clashing to a tree

"Urrgh." - Whip

"There you are! Me and my little Voodoo have been waiting for this moment." - Mirror Whip

"Oh is you! I suppose this had to happen sooner or later." - Said Whip getting up preparing to fight her evil self

Both Seirahs launched her whips at the same time clashing

"Show me how good you are with that baby of yours!" - Said Mirror Whip Launching herself against Whip

Both Whips started clashing fists. After dodging the last punch Whip throw, Mirror Whip jumped to one of the close trees nearby

"Just look at you, you barely can keep up with me but is not a surprise." - Mirror Whip

"After all, you're just a clone. A poor insignificant clone of the real Seirah!" - Said Mirror Whip making Whip loss her focus

"You didn't think I would know it? I took the time to investigate your story little clone girl, you're nothing more than a mere shadow of the original. A useless rebel clone who went against her creators and took the identity of the real deal." - Mirror Whip

"I'm going to kill you and take your corpse to the NEST scientists to see if there's anything that can still be used for they experiments, stupid little fraud!" - Mirror Whip

"SHUT UP!" - Whip

In that moment Whip lost herself in thoughts remembering her life as a clone of the real Seirah

South Town 2000

After the destruction of South Town by the zero cannon, Whip reunited herself with K' and Maxima

"So, you're a clone of her?" - K'

"... Yes, that's what Zero told me before I killed him." - Said Whip remembering her encounter with the clone of Zero moments before she ended her life

"I'm so sorry, K' but it seens the real Seirah died years ago due to the experiments NEST did to her." - Said Whip in a sad tone

"I was a clone that was created to be her replacement as a test subject. The memories that I have from her are just fake memories of a person that is not me." - Whip

"... I see." - Said K' in a cold tone looking at the sunset alongside Maxima and Whip

2001

With the fall of NEST and now being free finally K', Maxima, Kula, Diana, Foxy and Whip were setting into their new lives together on a farm in kansas

"Why are you not with them?" - Asked K'

"The Ikari Warriors?" - Whip

"Yes, it seens you miss them." - K'

"NEST has fallen, there's nobody searching for us to try to arrest us or use us as tools. You could rejoin them if you miss them." - K'

"You're right. I do miss them, I miss the commander, Leona, Lieutenant Still... And even the Colonel Jones." - Whip

"Isn't him always calling you Whippy?" - K'

"*Sigh* Yes it is him." - Whip

"I'm still not sure if I want to see them again, what would they think of me knowing that I'm not exactly a person but a clone of a person that died years ago." - Whip

"You said too much nonsense. They will accept you, just like I accepted you. Deep down I belive you're my sister Seirah and that will never change." - K'

"I have very little memories of her, that's true but from the few memories I have you are identical to her. For me you will always be Seirah." - Said K' making feel Whip a little bit better

"Thanks. Is great to know that for you and little Kula I'm the real Seirah." - Whip

"You should join them." - K'

"Why, don't tell me you want me out of your life now." - Whip

"Is not that, I want my sister to live her own life too. With how much you described how good you felt being part of the Ikari Warriors after spending a year with them and how they are like a family for you. I think you should rejoin them." - K'

"That's true but you're my family too, as well as Maxima and Little Kula. I couldn't leave you guys just like that. You're important for me." - Whip

"I know. But you have the opportunity to follow your own destiny by choice. I don't want you to have the same destiny as us. We are fugitives, the NEST can still chase us if they recover from the ruin. As you said this is far from over." - K'

"I get it. Maybe I should talk to commander if that makes you smile." - Whip

In that moment a military car appear in the entrace of the farm, Whip becoming worried tells Maxima to protect Kula, Diana and Foxy

K' and Whip go to the entrance preparing themselves for a fight

"Wait a moment that symbol!" - Said Whip

Someone came out of the car, it was no other than commander Heidern

"How are things going, Whip?" - Heidern

"Commander, how. How did you found this place?" - Whip

"Remember the training? I too have my methods of spying." - Heidern

"Would you and your brother invite me for a little talk?" - Heidern

Heidern, Whip and K' started walking in the field on the barn

"I suppose you know why I was looking for you?" - Heidern

"I think I know why." - Whip

"During the destruction of South Town in 2000 you separated yourself from our group leaving a goodbye video for us." - Heidern

"Yes it is true." - Whip

"Listen, Whip. You have been a good soldier and we appreciated the help you gave us sending the information of NEST you collected on your own." - Heidern

"I know you had a conversation with the clone of Zero who stealed Ling's identity and what he told you but we also manage to get information about the people NEST kinapped and experimented on." - Said Heidern looking at K'

"You know it. You know that I'm not the real Seirah, right?" - Whip

"If you're a clone of Seirah or not that doesn't matter. You certainly have been a valuable friend and a good soldier but I'm still not sure about forgiving the dissertation you did that year without a condition." - Heidern

"What condition?" - Whip

"My men and daughter miss you, as well as me. We would like you to return to work with the Ikari again." - Heidern

Whip surprised looked at his brother who shaked his head in affirmation.

"Yes, commander. We can go whenever you want." - Whip

"(I returned to the Ikari after that but not without saying goodbye to them too. Just like the Ikari, K' and the rest are my family too. A family who have accepted me from who I am regardless if I'm a clone or not.)" - Thought Whip recovering her focus managing to dodge an attack from Mirror Whip who was still in the trees

"What's the matter, are you giving up, Little clone girl?" - Mirror Whip

"Giving up? Let me show you what me and Voodoo are capable of doing." - Said Whip pulling her weapon and jumping into the trees

Both Whips started clashing fists again. This time the match was even for the surprise of Mirror Whip, Whip managed to do a sweep kick triping Mirror Whip and sending her to the ground falling from the trees

"Argh, you just got lucky. You little cloned bitch!" - Said Mirror Whip getting up

"Where's is all your confidence now, Seirah? How does it feel that a clone like me is kicking your butt!" - Said Whip taunting Mirror Whip

"Now I get it. You don't fight to protect others or have anyone important in your life. You only fight for the adrenaline and to feed your ego, you're nothing but a hollow tool of destruction. If you die I can assure you the commander or anyone of your team wouldn't care about your absence." - Whip

"SHUT UP!" - Said Mirror Whip pulling out her Desert Eagle preparing to kill Whip

Whip quickly disarmed Mirror Whip taking her desert eagle and throwing it away

"I thought you wanted a Whip vs Whip fight?" - Said Whip mocking Mirror Whip

"Hahaha, I don't need that to kill you. I'll kill you with my bare hands!" - Mirror Whip

"(This deranged monster is getting desperate. I better finish this off quickly.)" - Whip thought

"Scream in pain, bitch!" - Said Mirror Whip throwing multiple attacks to Whip

"(Is now or never!)" - Whip

Whip managed to tangle Mirror Whip's voodo with hers and manage to steal her weapon

"What!?" - Mirror Whip

"Let's see how you doing in a even fight!" - Said Whip hidding her weapon and preparing to engage on a hand to hand fight with Mirror Whip

Unlike the first fight that was even, Mirror Whip was not rival for Whip now. With all her attacks being countered by Whip, Mirror Whip was defeated easily

"Where's your fighting spirit now, Seirah?" - Said Whip punching Mirror Whip in the face

"I... I won't let you..." - Said Mirror Whip crawling on the ground while Whip walked towards her slowy

"I WON'T LET YOU BEAT ME!" - Mirror Whip managed to grab her desert eagle. Now pointing to Whip

"I won't be send to prison!" - Mirror Whip pointed the gun to her head shooting herself, ending her life

Whip was shocked but she understood what happened

"(She know there was nothing else she could do against me but if she had managed to fire her weapon I wouldn't had time to dodge or disarm her. But she didn't do that.)" - Whip

"(She didn't fire because at this point her pride had already been crushed. She feared I would dodge or disarm her easily and refused to keep living knowing that I bested her.)" - Whip

Whip took a last look at the corpse of Mirror World's Whip and returned to help Heidern's soldiers

On the east part of the cave Ralf and Clark were fighting against their mirror selfs for quite some time

"Is that all you got? Get real, imposter." - Said Mirror Ralf

"I'll give you something you will never forget." - Ralf

"(This is useless. He knows what I'm going to do and knows how to counter it but maybe...)" - Ralf thought for a second

"Hey, Clark. What you said if we change opponents?" - Said Ralf to Clark who was clashing fists with Mirror Clark

"Sounds good to me." - Clark did a roll and put himself in front of Mirror Ralf. Ralf went to where Mirror Clark was and started fighting against him

"Clark, do you really think you can defeat me? I'm much more stronger than the Ralf in your world, is clear I'm winning this." - Said Mirror Ralf to Clark

"Just try to attack me, I promise this will be over in seconds." - Clark

"Alright, you ask for it... Galactica... Phantom!" - Said Mirror Ralf about to strike Clark

In that moment Mirror Ralf was about to hit Clark but Clark stopped his attack leaving Mirror Ralf shocked

"You loss the moment you understimated me." - Clark grabed Mirror Ralf and started throwing him into the air doing his technique called Ultra Argentine Backbreaker ending the attack with Mirror Ralf getting his back broken and defeated on the ground

On the other hand Mirror Clark's and Ralf were having an even hand to hand match but Mirror Clark wanting to end the match tried to run towards Ralf with the intention of doing the same attack Clark did on Mirror Ralf

"This is it!" - Said Mirror Clark running towards Ralf

"I was counting on you doing that!" - Ralf did his technique called Jet: Vulcan Punch as soon as Mirror Clark was close to him. Mirror Clark recieved millons of hits and was send flying defeated

"But how did you know changing opponents would be effective?" - Clark

"Easy, this two barely act as friends. So they must not be used to sparring between them and they understimate each other. There's no respect between them, wich ended up being their biggest weakness." - Ralf

"Impressive!" - Clark

On the more profound part of the forest Leona and Mirror Leona continued their fight. At this point they had been fighting for some time. Both clashed their fists one last time before backing up

"You're good!" - Said Mirror Leona with an evil grim to Leona

"Is that all you have to said?" - Leona

"No, that was just a warn up. The real fun is about to begin!" - Said Mirror Leona as her hair started to turn red

"The riot of blood!" - Leona

"Well now. Shall we begin?" - Mirror Leona

Mirror Leona launched herself against Leona, under the effects of the riot of blood Mirror Leona was more faster, brutal and stronger. Making Leona feel unmatched.

"(Now I see. Is this what Ralf and Clark experimented when they fought against me in this state?)" - Thought Leona remembering the time she awaken the riot of blood

"I won't allow you to win!" - Leona

"Why don't we make this match more fun. Come on, sister. Let the riot of blood awaken!" - Mirror Leona

In that moment Leona felt how her blood boiled. She hear a strange voice talking to her

"Let your true self awaken, join me!"

"WHAT? Orochi! But how?" - Leona

"So you feel it too? The power of Orochi from this world is even bigger and stronger than the one from mine." - Mirror Leona

"How is this possible?" - Said Leona grabing her head trying to resist while her hair starting turning red

While Leona was trying to resist Orochi's will, she started to see not other than Orochi's followers who appeared in front of her.

"Why are you so weak?" - Goenitz

"He is calling you, Leona. Don't resist who you truly are." - Chris

"Accept our lord's calling!" - Yashiro

"Come on, Leona. Accept this blessing." - Shermie

"Shut up! You're not real!" - Leona

"Hmph! Why can't you accept your true self! You're just a killer machine like me." - Mirror Leona

"I... I'm not like you!" - Leona

Strugglin to keep control of herself Leona was starting to give in to the riot of blood. But in that moment she heared a calm voice

"Fight against his will, Leona! Don't let Orochi have control of your soul."

"Shut up! You damn betrayer!" - Said the shadow of Goenitz

"You! You are?" - Leona

In that moment a shadow appeared and destroyed the shadows of the followers of Orochi. The shadow didn't show his face but Leona still managed to recognize him

"... Father?" - Leona

"Yes. Don't let Orochi decide your fate, unlike me you will always be free to choose your own destiny. You're not his tool and you will never be... For you are my beloved daughter." - Gaidel

In that moment Leona returned to normal but her hair was still red surprising Mirror Leona

"So you managed to resist his will? You're so disappointing." - Mirror Leona

"Sorry to disappoint you but I'm not a murderous pathetic monster like you!" - Leona

"Pathetic!? Consider yourself dead!" - Mirror Leona

"Oh you're going to kill me... But with all the talk you do." - Leona

In that moment Mirror Leona launched herself to attack Leona but she was easily countered by Leona who sended her flying against a tree

"UURGH!" - Mirror Leona

"(How did she managed to do that?)" - Thought Mirror Leona getting herself up

"I thought you said you were going to kill me." - Leona

"To hell with you!" - Said Mirror Leona getting up preparing herself to attack Leona

"I don't think so!" - Leona grabed Mirror Leona's arm and using her technique called Leona Blade sended flying Mirror Leona defeating her

"... Sayonara." - Leona

"Arrgghh!" - Mirror Leona

Leona was standing in front of Mirror Leona's unconscious body.

"(I need to reunite with the rest quickly. I'll have to bring her with me.)" - Thought Leona grabing the body of Mirror Leona
