Chapter 17

"Think wisely here Jade. For I shall not hold back this time around. For you have turned your back on our Queen and our Royal duties to protect the Moon family for the False Prince of the Earth." Said Kurama in calm and even tone that sent chills down everyone's spines.

Jade narrowed her eyes at him. "You know nothing. You are just a lap dog for the Moon Kingdom that no longer stands. While the Kingdom of the Earth still has a chance to from once more." She growls out at him.

Kurama smirks under his mask at her. "As long as the blood of the of the Moon Family follows though the young Prince and he holds the Silver Crystal. The same Crystal that fool your call your King has been lusting for. The Moon Kingdom still holds power and stands strong and tall." He told her as his flaming sword laid in the ready to attack that rat creature that stood before him.

"Mistress Jade. Allow us to show this beast his place for disrespecting you and our King." Growled out the Rat thing once more.

Naruto looked at the woman before him. He could feel that she once held lunar magic within her, but her soul was now dark and impure from the darkness she allowed to enter for following the fool of a False Earth Prince. "I don't understand why you would forsake my grandparents and my mother for that bastard." He said looking at her as his blue eyes harden looking at her.

She just smirked at him. "They had nothing that they could offer one like myself." She said with a cocky tone and attitude.

"You mean. They wouldn't give you the power you craved and lusted for. For they saw what it would do to a weak heart like yourself." Said Naruto as he shook his head. "Maybe it was for the best that you followed that fool. For those who only lust for power and want to take the easy way are meant for each other." He said taking a step back as Kurama moved quickly blocking the boy from the woman standing before them as she was fuming at the words the boy spoke to her.

"Marionette and Rat King kill them." Said Jade as she jumped back onto the water floating before them and smirking. "This will be the last time we see each other little Moon Prince." She said as she went up in a swirl of jade petals.

Both monster's eyes began glowing crimson as they faced the Black Knight.

"My Prince. Allow me to handle this trash. For it isn't time for you to tip your hand." Said Kurama.

Naruto nodded his head to his partner. He knew if he transformed this would shock a few and there would be too many questions. As it was there was too many questions for him to answer for the senseis where looking at him. "I will explain this once the Black Knight has handle these two before us.

Kurama smirked as he had been wanting to have a little fun, but he knew he couldn't stretch this out for he knew his Lord Ares already could feel what was happening.

Hokage's Office

Ares took out his new Crystal ball and was looking into it. He narrowed his eyes as anger could be felt rolling off of him. "I should have crushed that bastard when I had my chance." He growled out as he made a fist slamming it onto his desk ramming it though the floor and on top of a poor Chunin doing some filing as the crystal ball just floated before him. "My Love I swear to the Gods I shall not fail never again." Flames licked around the God Of War as he was getting ready to leave his office to find that little bastard.

"Hokage-sama." Came a voice from his open office door. There stood Tsunade looking at him as she tilted her head to the side.

Ares looks up at his granddaughter. "What is it Tsunade?" He question sounding a little annoyed as he was ready for battle as his robes had burned off of him and was replaced by his leather outfit.

"We are needed for a council meet for the up and coming Chunin Exam and I am unable to head this meeting and Commander Dragon is out of the village." Said Tsunade as she hope this would calm the man some.

"But I must kill a little bastard." Growled out Ares.

Tsunade let out a sigh. "You have gone this long. It can wait a little longer." She told him as she walked over to him and grabbed his ear. "Now let's go." She said dragging the God behind her.

At the Boarder of the Land of Waves

Kurama swung his massive blade in a large arch as it met the Rat King. The rat held his hands out as he went up in flames with a howls and screams of pain as the doll thing only lost her arm.

"He was just a prideful fool." She spat out as she charged at Kurama with her fingers turning into blades. What she didn't see was that Kurama had his nine-tail's appear from under his armor and turn into swords and come down slicing her into ribbons as she exploded trying to take him with her.

"My Prince. I shall return to once I came." Said Kurama as he knelt to his Prince vanishing in a swirl of flames.

The others looked at Naruto as the flames engulfed the boy and he just rubbed the back of his head with his right hand and just chuckled. "I know I have a lot to explain. But for now this isn't the time nor is it isn't safe for me to explain what is happening.

They just nodded their heads to this as they moved to the meeting place and made their way across the sea that laid between them to their goal.
