Chapter 7: Zinnia

Ash and Zinnia are now back at the Sevestar Island, they quickly find Delia and Marnie still by Insey's side. Ash asks, "Still isn't awake?"

Marnie nods with a little sad expression, and she asks, "So who is she? Ash?"

"This is Zinnia, she is also one of the girls I have interested in." Ash says, "Zinnia, this is Marnie, she is from the Galar Region, and the one who is lying on the bed is Insey, she is from Kanto just like me."

"I see." Zinnia says, "So how long has she passed out?"

"Well, it is actually almost 12 hours..." Ash frowns a little, "Maybe it wouldn't happen if I was by her side..."

Marnie says, "It's not your fault, Ash. If someone wants to blame it should be Team Rocket."

Ash feels a little better after the cheering. And then they decide to head outside so Zinnia can show her Pokemon. There are Goodra, Tyrantrum, Altaria, Noivern, Salamence and a Hydreigon as Dragon Type Pokemon, and from the other Pokemon, she has Archeops, Aggron, Lapras, Gyarados and Aster, her Whismur.

The Pokemon are playing together with Ash's Pokemon, and with the two Noivern getting close to each other. Zinnia says, "I guess that the Noivern was captured after we met?"

"Yeah, I found its egg and it immediately hatched, at first it has a hard time to fly, but with the help of Talonflame and Hawlucha, he manages to fly."

"I see." Zinnia says. "I had another dream and I needed to confirm it, is it true that you are also a Pokemon known as Arceus?"

"How did you know about this Pokemon?" Ash asks in surprise, and Zinnia smiles, "I have been reading a lot of Legends because of my grandmother. When I read about Dialga, Palkia and Giratina, I got to learn about Arceus and the power that he has held. Though I was surprised that you are actually an Arceus."

Marnie says, "We felt the same way when Ms. Ketchum reveals to us about this news."

Ash says, "Didn't you say that you are a Dark Type Leader, you didn't feel surprised at my Arceus form?"

Marnie shrugs and says, "Well, I wasn't surprised, but I just don't want to be the only one that wasn't surprised by your form."

Zinnia says, "Sounds like you are interesting. Marnie."

"Why thank you, you are interesting as well." Marnie says back. Then Ash decides to splits himself into two and to show that Ash is the one that Zinnia wants to be with, he has a Dragon mark on his back, and Zinnia says, "That sure is a big dragon mark..."

"Why yes, but it will have you remember about me." Ash says back. "Speaking of which, how is your training, Zinnia? have you become a Dragon Master like you wanted to?"

Zinnia shakes her head and says, "I still have a lot to learn after all, not only that, ever since the time that you saved the world alongside Rayquaza, I have been searching for my goals as a Dragon Master throughout the regions. Of course with Aster by my side after all."

Whismur nods and Marnie asks, "What is it about Ash saving the world with Rayquaza?"

Ash says, "Well, you see...after I won the Hoenn League, the former Champion Steven Stone has asked me to come to the Devon Corp, and he tells me about the meteor attack. And we met each other a lot of times, since Zinnia doesn't approve of what Devon Corp's idea to use Technology to teleport the meteor to another dimension, believing that the other dimension would be destroyed. Which is why we go to the Sky Pillar and we summon Rayquaza to help us out."

Zinnia says, "And I am still grateful for Ash to do that, or else the Devon Corp is going to make a great mistake."

"So you were from the Unova Region, but you come to Hoenn because you were going to stop Devon Corp?" Marnie asks and she nods. "Though when Ash was at the Unova, I didn't get to see him when he arrived at the Dragon Village..."

"It's fine, at least we are here now." Ash says.

Marnie also notices the Key Stone at her Anklet, she asks, "So is that what triggers the mechanic that the other people called, Mega Evolution?"

Zinnia says, "Oh, you mean this stone at my anklet? Of course, I use it to Mega Evolve my Salamence, since he is my first partner alongside with Aster."

Ash says, "Mega Evolution is similar to Gigantamax, as they would be able to change form, but there are a lot of differences, for example, when Mega Evolving, it won't retrun back to normal until you end the battle, while Gigantamax lasts only three turns. And Mega Evolutions sometimes change typings and abilities, like Charizard, who has Blaze as its ability, but once you gave him the Charizardite X and Mega Evolves it, it will become Fire and Dragon Type and the Ability becomes Tough Claws."

"That's cool. Is there Dark Type Pokemon that can Mega Evolve as well?" Marnie asks.

"Of course, there is Absol, Houndoom, and even Sharpedo are the Dark Type Pokemon that can Mega Evolve." Zinnia says. "Though I am curious about the Gigantamax..."

Ash says, "Gigantamax origins from the Galar Region, and the Dragon Type Pokemon I know that can Gigantamax is Duraludon, with the move G-Max Depletion reduces two power points of a Pokemon's move."

"I see..." Zinnia says.

"There are you guys." Delia rushes towards them and Ash, Zinnia and Marnie look at her, "Mom? What's the matter?"

"Insey is finally awake." Once Delia says it, Ash quickly rushes into the castle and Zinnia blinks, "How is he able to run that fast?"

"Maybe he uses Extreme Speed? I know for sure that Arceus can learn that move." Marnie says.

As Ash rushes into the room, he sees that Insey is now sitting on the bed while breathing a little heavily, Ash asks, "Insey?"

Insey looks up and she says, "Ash...I..."

Ash gives Insey a hug, and Insey hugs back, Ash says, "How could you make us worried about that. When we heard that you absorbed the Bug Gem, we are worried that you might never wake up again..."

"I am sorry, Ash. I just wanted to protect the stone...I never knew it was such a big deal...but does that mean the energy inside the Bug Gem is now inside my body?"

Ash nods and says, "Did you feel anything weird? Are you feeling okay?"

Insey says, "I don't know why, but I feel energy flowing inside my body...what does that mean?"

Ash says, "Mother says that you might be able to transform into any Bug Type Pokemon that you want. Though I don't know if it is true or not."

Insey asks, "Should I try it out?" Ash nods and then she closes her eyes, and then she becomes as small as a Blipbug. Ash just stares at it and then Insey asks, "Ash? When did you become big?"

Ash says, "I didn't change, you have become a Blipbug."

"A Blipbug? Why am I a Blipbug?" Insey asks in confusion. "I thought that I would become a Beautifly or some sort..."

"Maybe because you just changed for the first time, so you just started with a Pokemon which has the lower base stats. But once training with the transformation, you are able to become stronger Pokemon." Delia says as she walks into the room along with Zinnia and Marnie.

"Okay, so how would I change back?" Insey asks, and Ash says, "Just concentrate and thinks of being yourself again, that was what I did."

"Okay." Insey says as she closes her eyes, then after a while, she becomes back to normal and she says, "Wow...that sure is something."

Marnie says, "So what does it feel like being a Blipbug?"

"I think it is fine, I guess." Insey says, "I like Bug Type Pokemon, so I don't think it is an issue for me."

Then Zinnia introduces herself to Insey, and then they all go outside to help Insey with the transformation. After they practice for a while, they manage to have Insey access to all the Bug Type Pokemon, with the last one being the Genesect.

"Alright, I think I am going to get used to being all the Bug Type Pokemon in existence." Insey says. "But it sure is cool."

"So which Pokemon is your favorite after getting transformation?" Zinnia asks, Insey thinks for a second and then she says, "I think I really like to be a Scizor. Since it is my first Pokemon and I really like the way it uses the X Scissors and the Bullet Punch."

"Yeah, and I am still hurt with that..." Ash says while holding his stomach, during the practice of Transformation, when they try out the Scizor, Insey can't hold her excitement and then she uses the attacks to try on Ash, causing him to be in pain. Insey was feeling guilty at first, but Ash tells her that he doesn't mind about it.

"But seriously, when you transform into other Pokemon, you really gave us a lot of trouble." Zinnia says.

During the transformation, when Insey changes into a Burmy, she just jumps into the castle as it tries to change its Leaf Form into a Trash form, and it causes the trash can to be falling over, so they have to clean it up. And there is a time when it becomes a Sewaddle, it just swings around in the forest and the three of them have to chase her. And then a Wimpod, she gets scared really easily as she runs away, causing her to get stuck between the walls and the three of them have to try pulling her out.

"Sorry, I think I got a little carried away when I do those transformations, I am sure you will feel the same way like I did when you absorb the powers of the gems."

"Maybe." Ash says with a little sigh. "But on the other hand, some of your transformation were doing some good things."

And when Insey turns into a Ribombee, with the help of its Pollen Puff, they feel like they have been recovered from the running around, and when she becomes a Kricketune, they like the music that it is playing, and when she becomes a Shuckle, she manages to make great juices for them to drink.

"Yeah, I feel like I can do a lot of things now that I become any Bug Type Pokemon that we want." Insey says.

"But we have to protect you since if Team Rainbow Rocket learns about it, they will try to capture you no matter what." Ash says, just then, Marnie's Rotom Phone rings and she decides to answer it.

"Hello?" Marnie asks, and suddenly her face turns into a face of horror, "What? Spikemuth is attacked and you just told me now? I'll be there."

As she ends the call, Ash asks, "Marnie? What's the matter?"

"Team Rainbow Rocket has attacked my hometown, they demanded that we hand over the Dark Gem or else they are going to kill my friends."

Ash, Insey and Zinnia are surprised, Zinnia says, "Then we should go there as soon as possible."

"Yeah." Ash says, "So are you two going to come as well?"

Insey says, "We might as well." Then they quickly leave the island as they rush towards Galar.

Here is a new chapter, and the next chapter will be another encounter with Team Rainbow Rocket, right now they are attacking the Spikemuth and I wonder what will happen after they arrive there.
