Chapter 9: Dinner With Mr. Uesugi (Pt. 2)
3rd Person Pov.
A/n: The first part of this chapter is going to be really bad because I coundnt really think of a good way of writing about how the quints love Fuutarou. So if some of the reasons make no sense or are questionable, thats why. Also I kinda bailed myself out at the end so theres gonna be some crappy reasoning there.
"So girls, why do you love Fuutarou?" Isanari asked, "and don't give me some average answer like 'I like him' I want a reason. Tell me everything."
"Well, I've known him since we were little and he's always been nice to me. We even made promises to each other. I've always been supportive of him and I really love him." Yotsuba said.
"Well I kinda liked his 'cousin' first but then turns out it was Fuutarou. Sometime later I started having feelings for him after I drugged him twice. From there, I spent more time with him and I really loved him." Nino said.
"You drugged him?" Isanari asked.
"Umm..." Nino looked away.
"I'll talk to Fuutarou about that later. Continue your reasons." Isanari said.
"I never really liked him at the beginning, but over time my feelings also grew for him. I didnt show it at the time, but I love him and was a little jealous when my sisters were making moves on him." Itsuki said.
"I made fun of him a little bit and over time, just like my sisters, I also started getting feelings for him." Ichika said.
The sisters were a bit uncomfortable and Itsuki decided to bail them all out.
"We're sorry Mr. Uesugi, its just that all of us have thousands of reasons of why we love of Fuutarou and some of them get pretty deep." Itsuki said, "Its tough for all of us to say why."
"Hmm. Ok then, your reasons fine." Isanari said.
As he stopped, the food came and they were all served their food. Isanari excused himself to wash his hands and Fuutarou stayed behind a bit.
"What's with your dad?" Nino asked.
"I dont know. He's never been like this. I'll go ask him and see what he says." Fuutarou said.
"Ok you better. And listen, we all really love you. More than anything, it's just that we weren't really expecting to answer these types of questions tonight." Nino said.
"Its ok, I know you all love me." Fuutarou smiled.
"Oh you casanova." Ichika chuckled while giving him a little punch.
Fuutarou got up from the table and went to follow his dad to the bathroom. Fuutarou made it to the bathroom and saw his dad coming out.
"Dad, I got to ask you a question." Fuutarou said.
"Sure what is it son?" Isanari asked.
Fuutarou pulled him aside and faced him.
"Whats with the attitude today?" Fuutarou asked, "This isnt like you."
"Well I wanted to know if they really love you. If I was nice the whole time, I dont think I could get the answers from them. Yes, they had some questionable reasons but I could tell that they really do love you. The rest of the dinner, I'm not going to be intimidating, I promise." Isanari assured Fuutarou.
"Alright, thanks dad." Fuutarou said while heading towards the bathroom.
Isanari made his way back to the table and saw the food sitting there. He sat down and looked at his meal. As he looked at the quints, he felt some uncomfortableness.
"Look, I was only that intimidating to find out if you really love my son." Isanari told them.
The quints started loosening up a bit and looked more relaxed.
"Really?" Yotsuba asked.
"Yeah, I'm never like that with anyone. I just wanted to make sure you weren't just using Fuutarou." Isanari said.
"We would never!" Miku said with a shocked tone.
"Also Nino, you drugged my son right?" Isanari asked.
"Well..." Nino looked off in the distance again.
"I'll just wait for Fuutarou to come back so we could all have something to talk about." Isanari teased.
"Uhh.. Okie..." Nino trailed.
"You could all go to the bathroom. I'll watch the food." Isanari said, "I might eat some of your fries Yotsuba."
"Then I will be quick!" Yotsuba yelled.
She sprinted towards the bathroom.
"Well i'll take one of these." Isanari said while grabbing a fry.
"You scared us at the beginning. Its nice to see how you really are." Itsuki said.
"I wont do it again, I promise." Isanari smiled.
The quints left the table and made their way inside the bathroom. They passed by Fuutarou as he came back from the bathroom and the quints all went to the bathroom together. Fuutarou sat back at the table and looked at his food. He took a few small bites of his food and then laid back.
"How's it like having five girlfriends?" Isanari asked to end the silence.
"It's great but tiring. I have to deal with all of them at once." Fuutarou replied, "But I do love them so I guess it's worth it."
"I'm glad you love them." Isanari said.
"Before we came here I thought you wouldn't like me dating five girls." Fuutarou stated.
" I don't care how many girls you date, I just care if they really do love you and if you really and truly do love them back." Isanari replied, "Which I could see between you six."
"Well thanks." Fuutarou said.
"So then, when are the kids coming?" Isanari asked.
"Dad! I'm still in high school." Fuutarou was shocked. The thought of having kids with the quints somewhat excited him.
"I was just joking. Save it for after you get married." Isanari chuckled a bit.
"Ha ha. Very funny dad." Fuutarou didn't laugh.
The quints arrived shortly after Fuutarou and Isanari were done talking and they sat down in their seats. They all said a little prayer before eating and then started going in. They were all enjoying their food but, it was getting a little quiet.
"So Nino, would you care to tell me about the time when you drugged my son?" Isanari asked with a grin.
"Well, um I drugged him because-" Nino whispered,
"C'mon Nino, speak up. I'm going to be your father-in-law in a few years. Hopefully." Isanari told her, "You can tell me about it, or I'll have Fuutarou tell me."
"Fine I tell you the story." Nino said.
Nino told the whole story about how she drugged Fuutarou twice and what led up to her doing that. It took up a huge portion of the dinner because every now and then, Fuutarou or the other quints would add some more to the story. They continued to eat and enjoy themselves at the dinner. The quints even forgot about how Isanari treated them and were enjoying their time with him.
"Hey Fuuta, can I get a desert?" Itsuki asked.
"Sure. Which one do you want?" Fuutarou asked back,
"I'll take the triple chocolate and strawberry topping cake." Itsuki said.
"Ok then." Fuutarou said.
Fuutarou ordered the slice of cake and the waiter took his order. Once she was done, she made her way to the back to tell the chefs to get the food ready. After some more minutes of waiting and talking, Itsuki's cake came out with five chefs with balloons and other party supplies following the waitress. They reached the table and once they arrived, the waitress asked whose cake. Itsuki said herself and they gave the cake to her. As they did, they said something about her,
"Congrats! You are the 5000th customer to order this cake!" The waitress yelled.
"What?" Itsuki asked.
"5000 people have ordered this cake and you were the 5000th. This is a huge celebration here whenever we reach a milestone. So, we will be partying for you!" The waitress said.
The chefs in the back blew their kazoos and whatnot and were cheering. Everyone in the restaurant was also clapping in confusion. They pulled Itsuki from her seat and they all started dancing. There was music everywhere all of a sudden and everyone just started partying. It was fun and everyone was enjoying it. Yotsuba, Nino, and Ichika all got up and started dancing with Itsuki. Miku and Fuutarou stayed in their seats and were watching the quints having fun. Soon after some more dancing, Nino came over and pulled Fuutarou out of his chair. Fuutarou tried to pull back but three of the sisters were pulling him up. Fuutarou eventually got up and started to dance with them awkwardly. After all the dancing, the restaurant was still not done. They played party games with Itsuki, ranging from limbo to pin the tail on the donkey. It was fun but over time, Itsuki started to get tired. All the games went on for another 30 minutes and everyone was calmed down by the end of it.
Finally, after 2 hours of dinner together, they all finished and were ready to pay. Fuutarou paid for the whole meal with the money he was saving up for this day. After he was done, they made their way to the front of the restaurant. Itsuki collapsed onto a bench from how tired she was.
"So dad, do you need us to drop you off at home?" Fuutarou asked his dad.
"Nah, it's good. I have a round trip ticket for the train." Isanari declined the offer.
"If you say so dad." Fuutarou said.
"I'll see you later then son. Take care of the girls and don't lose them, please." Isanari said while leaving the group.
"Sure will dad! See you later!" Fuutarou yelled back, since his dad was quite far now.
"Well then, that was a great first date." Fuutarou said, "Let me call Ebata-San so he could pick us up."
The quints were all sitting on a bench and all looked a little tired. Fuutarou pulled out his phone, turned around, and gave Ebata-San a call. After Fuutarou was done with the call, he turned back towards the sisters.
"I wanted to thank you girls for coming to dinner with me and meeting my dad." Fuutarou said.
"Of course we were going to go. You're our boyfriend and we wouldn't want to miss meeting your dad." Nino said.
"Well I wanted to thank you for being with me, so here..." Fuutarou pulled Nino out of her seat on the bench. He gave her a kiss on the lips and they both enjoyed it. It was warm and they were enjoying each other's lips. The other sisters saw this and was shocked and were anxiously waiting to see if Fuutarou would do that to them.
Fuutarou pulled away for the kiss and looked at a blushing Nino.
"Well how was it?" Fuutarou asked.
"It was a good first kiss for me." Nino replied.
"Same here." Fuutarou also said. (In this fan fic, the bell kiss has never happened and it never will.)
Nino sat back down and was still shocked by the kiss. She had a very happy look on her face too. Fuutarou moved over to the next quint and pulled her up. It was Yotsuba.
"Ah Fuutarou, you don't have to do this." Yotsuba was blushing.
"I'm going to." Fuutarou told her.
"I'm just going to go no-" Yotsuba was cut off by Fuutarou kissing her.
The two kissed each other and stood there for a bit. Nino was watching in delight knowing that Yotsuba was probably feeling the same as her, happiness. Fuutarou broke from the kiss and Yotsuba was blushing. He was now in a little daze from being so happy that Fuutarou did that. She just sat down and looked off in the distance savoring the taste of Fuutarou on her lips.
"I guess I don't have to ask her how was it." Fuutarou chuckled.
Fuutarou moved over to the next quint which was Ichika. Same thing happened with the other two sisters. Ichika was happy and was enjoying the kiss. She did talk more about it than her sisters. Miku was up next and she was nervous like Yotsuba. She closed her eyes and the two kissed each other. After Fuutarou pulled away, she sat back down and was really happy on the inside. Itsuki was last and Fuutarou pulled her out of her seat. The two went in and after they were done, Itsuki was blushing really hard as well. All the quints were sitting down and had a happy look on their faces. They were all blushing and were staring at Fuutarou.
"Thank you girls so much, I love you all." Fuutarou told all the quints.
"WE LOVE YOU TOO FUU-KUN/FUUTAROU/FUUTA!!" The quints all yelled while hugging Fuutarou.
"I love you all so much." Fuutarou said again while closing his eyes and hugging the quints tightly.

My bad. I said it was going to come out either tomorrow or in a few days in the last chapter. Instead I update it a week later. I think that's fine though. 1 new chapter every week or so.
