A few weeks after Max made the new cards, everyone had gathered all but one card.
"So, we only have that Carnotaurus left," said Zoe as she and the others sat at a table.
"The Carnotaurs won't show itself until it wants someone to see it,' said Jaison. Suddenly they felt the ground start shaking.
"I think it's ready," said Max as he looked out a window and noticed the dinosaur walking through the city. After they got outside, the D-Team found just how big of a problem they were facing.
"That thing has doubled in size since I last saw it," said Rex with a horrified expression as they stood while watching the dinosaur walk away from them.
"But how, it doesn't have the power to grow, and that's way beyond its normal height for its species," said Taya with a confused expression.
"No way," said Max as he used his goggles.
"What is it, Max?" asked Jaison.
"The Carnotaurus is absorbing heat to make itself stronger, and this city is filled with it thanks to all the glass," said Max as he noticed heat bouncing off the windows and then being absorbed into the dinosaur.
"Which in turn is making it grow," said Taya and Jaison at the same time.
"Then let's take it out fast!" said Rex as he summoned Ace.
"Rex, wait a minute!" said Max as Rex charged right on in.
"Ninja Attack!" said Rex as he slashed the card. However, the Carnotaurs was able to stop it with his tail alone.
"Get up, Ace, we have to take him down!" said Rex as he ran up to Ace as he laid on the ground.
"Rex, you need to calm down," said Max as he grabbed hold of Rex's shoulder to spin him around.
"Don't you tell me to calm down!" said Rex as he jerked away..
"But you're starting to act like me, rushing in recklessly without thinking first," said Max. This snapped Rex back to his senses.
"Sorry, my anger at that thing got to me," said Rex who was ashamed of what he had done.
"It's not me that you should apologize too," said Max as he motioned to Ace.
"He's right, I'm sorry, Ace," said Rex.
"Oh no, the Carnotaurus is getting stronger," said Zoe as she noticed it grow even more.
"How are we going to beat it?" asked Jaison.
"The only way is to use the most dangerous power, we have to use Supreme Form and the Elemental Boosters," said Max as the yellow booster appeared on his D-Techtor.
"We have the Elemental Boosters too?" asked Zoe.
"Yes, but these two powers together could destroy our dinosaurs," said Max.
"Are you willing to do whatever it takes to help us?" asked Taya as she looked at the dinosaurs. All the dinosaurs let out roars as if to say yes.
"Alright, let's get ready," said Max.
