Chapter 9
Ash and Lillie bring everyone to their gym, which looks like a Pokemon Day Care Center. Ash and Lillie are now in disguise wearing blue and pink masks and Dragon Tamer suits. "What's with the disguise?" Lance asks them.
Ash says, "Under these disguises, we are known as Drandon and Wyree, the Dragon Prince and Dragon Princess."
"Dragon Prince and Dragon Princess? Is this some kind of joke?" Iris asks, but Ash just gives her a glare and she starts to shiver. Lillie says, "The title is not just for fun, we have to obtain it with harsh works and training. And this place is how we manage to gain the title, there are all the Dragon Pokemon, except for the Legendary Pokemon, living here."
As they enter the area, they see a lot of small dragons playing with each other, they can see that there are Dratini, Bagon, Gible, Axew, Goomy, Jangmo-O and Dreepy playing together. Bonnie says, "Wow, they are so cute."
"Those dragons here will one day become a ferocious dragon on their own, and it is our jobs as the Dragon Prince and Dragon Princess to take care of them until they find a suitable trainer." Ash says.
"Though there are more of them, but I guess that they are still sleeping." Lillie sighs.
Ash says, "Well, Lance, can you help us with these Dragon Type Pokemon with those people here? Lillie and I need to give our gym battles to our children, so we need to leave for a while."
"You can count on us." Lance says as the family leaves, Misty asks, "So what did Ash ask you to do? Lance?"
Lance says, "It is nothing, he just asked me to be security for people and Dragon Pokemon here."
"I see...but aren't you find it weird that we are in an Ultra Wormhole?" Gary asks, and Lance says, "It was weird at first, but after staying longer, I think I might get used to it."
"I think I get it." Serena says as she notices a Noibat, who is looking at her with a confused reaction. Serena takes out an apple and gives it to the Pokemon, who bites it with happiness.
"Where did you get that apple?" Clemont asks Serena, who says, "I got it back at the dessert store in the Bug World, I wanted to eat it myself, but seeing those Pokemon here...I think it would be better if I share it."
"I see...that is nice of you." Cilan says, and then they try to share their food to the small dragon Pokemon. Kiawe asks, "I wonder why they aren't showing hostile towards us?"
"Because they are still small." Lance says, "It would be another story if they all evolve into bigger dragons."
After that, they decide to stay for a while, once Ash, Lillie, Sarah and Chase are back, they are surprised to see how close those Dragon Pokemon are with them. Ash says, "Maybe they did have a change of heart after doing that to us ten years ago."
Lillie says, "Yeah...but still, being friends with them is out of option."
"Indeed." Ash says, and then they hear a loud roar, and they turn around and see that the three dragons from the Unova Region arrive in front of them. "Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, what's the matter?"
After they talk to them about everything, Ash says, "Sarah, Chase. You two stay here so that Lance and the others can know where we are. Lillie, come with me, Regidraco is in danger."
"Okay." Lillie says as the two of them leave, the group also notice the three dragons and they are surprised, Iris asks, "Is that Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem? In the same place?"
But the three dragons area growling at them as they know how they hurt Ash and Lillie, but Sarah and Chase stops them before it is getting too late. Lance says, "Although this is the first time I see this Pokemon, but I can tell how strong they are."
"I don't think it will be the best choice to provoke them." Chase says, much to their surprise. Sarah says, "In other universes, they have been suffered from Team Plasma and they are still healing from the wounds from them."
"Team Plasma? What does that mean?" Trip asks them and Chase says, "In most of the universes, Team Plasma has different uniforms and goals. Their goal is to liberate Pokemon from trainers, even though it was similar to what we were doing. But the reason Ghetsis did that is because if he is the only person with the Pokemon, then no one will oppose him from ruling the world."
Sarah says, "Not only that, he tries to make N into the side of Team Plasma by forcing him to listen to the abused Pokemon's cries, making him believe that what Team Plasma's doing is right, so that he can befriend either Reshiram or Zekrom to do Ghetsis' biddings."
"That sounds horrible." Cilan says, as he and Iris know what kind of person N is.
Lance is curious of the story and he asks, "And what happened after that?"
"Ever since that happened, N took over the Pokemon League by defeating the Alder in their world, and that is when the Gym Leaders and the Elite 4 need to work together with a person who was chosen by the other dragon to stop them. Eventually he did, and Team Plasma was arrested." Sarah says, "But that is not the end. Ghetsis escaped, and he recruits new members, including Dr. Colress, to form the new Team Plasma two years after the incident."
"Wait, you mean, Dr. Colress wasn't a part of the first Team Plasma's actions?" Iris asks, and Sarah nods, "Since the loss of the former Team Plasma, they decide to control the world with another Pokemon, that is Kyurem. They managed to steal the DNA Splicers from Drayden, the Opelucid City Gym Leader, and then they use the power of Kyurem to freeze half of the Unova Region."
"What is DNA Splicers?" Dawn asks in confusion, just then, they hear Ash's voice, "DNA Splicers is an item which forces Kyurem to fuse with either Reshiram or Zekrom to become White Kyurem or Black Kyurem."
Lance asks, "Ash? Lillie? Where were you two? What happened?"
Ash says, "A Pokemon was being captured by poachers, who come here to steal some Pokemon in order to make money. We stopped them and we sent them to prison already."
Lillie says, "And then we hear you guys talking about the Team Plasma in other worlds. And as you can see, the Kyurem in our world can change into White Kyurem or Black Kyurem in his free will, but in the other universes, they have to rely on fusion in order to make it possible."
"I never know about that..." Go mutters.
"There are something in common, that is the fact the legend. The three of them were once a dragon, but with the greed of the twin princes, who wanted power to prove the power of truth and ideals, and eventually they split the dragons into Reshiram and Zekrom, Kyurem was only an empty shell."
"I see." Chloe says, "I have read some of them through my father's research, I never know it is real..."
"Back to the story, N decided to stop Ghetsis this time with either Reshiram or Zekrom, but failed as Kyurem manages to fuse together, and in the end, another person is the one that defeated the Pokemon and Ghetsis was arrested once again."
"I want to ask, Ash." Clemont says, "If what you said was one of the universes, then is there a universe when Ghetsis is the one that succeeded?"
Ash closes his eyes and says, "There is one, actually. And before Gladion and Ms. Lusamine was killed, there is one time about Team Rainbow Rocket."
"Team Rainbow Rocket? I remembered that they took over the Festival Plaza and it was you who helped me kick them out." Sophocles says.
"Yes, turns out that Giovanni manages to use the power of the Ultra Wormholes to gather the evil team bosses from their succeeded universe to kidnap Lusamine and we, as well as Guzma and Colress helping us, managed to send them back to their own worlds." Ash says, and Lillie feels uneasy at the time when she was being held with a knife from Ghetsis, but it was thanks to Colress that manages to teleport her away from Ghetsis so that he can send him back to his world.
After leaving the dragons, they go to the Dragon Temple. When they are walking, Lance asks Ash, "So you said that there are a lot of universes in the world, can I ask how is my other selves in the different universes?"
Ash thinks a second and then he says, "Well, in some of the universes, you are an Elite 4 member of the Kanto Region, and in some of the universe, where the Kanto and the Johto League are together, you are the Champion instead."
"That sure is something else." Lance says. "And in some of the universes, you have been an evil person whose goal is to destroy humans for the sake of Pokemon." Lillie adds, causing him to widen his eyes.
Ash says, "Don't worry about that, in the end you learn your mistakes and you have been the Johto Champion back in that universe."
"What kind of universe is that?" Misty asks, "How come Lance was a bad guy at that time?"
"Well, I would be surprised, since in that world, almost everyone is quite evil." Ash sighs, "And like the Kanto Region, half of the Gym Leaders are actually members of Team Rocket back then."
"Wait, you mean that we are also Team Rocket members in that world?" Brock asks in horror, but Ash says, "No, you two, as well as Erika and Blaine are the ones that aren't."
"I see." Lance frowns a little at himself at that universe. Then they finally arrived at the Dragon Temple, and Ash says, "This was where the poachers was at, they are here to steal the Pokemon known as Regidraco."
"Regidraco? So it isn't just Regirock, Regice and Registeel?" May asks. Ash then takes them inside, and they see the sleeping Regidraco, who takes the form of the drgaon's head.
"Is that Regidraco? It sure looks intimidating." Iris says.
"Yes. Due to its body being formed by crystallized dragon energy, Regidrago is said to have the most powerful Dragon-type moves of all Pokémon. It also has the power of every Dragon-type Pokémon." Ash says, causing them to get shocked.
"Regigigas is the one that creates the Pokemon instead of Arceus. But since it ran out of crystals, so he can only build the head, and then it was sealed away in a temple due to the ancient people fearing the destruction it would cause should it ever be completed."
Lance mutters, "Those were the same thing that explained in the Pokemon Sword and Shield's Expansion Pass' Crown Tundra...never thought that they were real..."
Ash says, "And it learns the move known as the Dragon Energy, converting its life-force into power, the user attacks opposing Pokémon. The lower the user's HP, the lower the move's power."
"So when it is at full health, it is so strong..." Max says.
"And that is all what the Dragon World needs to offer. And I suggest not to wake him up if death is what you want for now." Ash says, which causes them to shiver at Ash's words.
After they get out of the temple, Lance asks, "So which world are you going next?"
Ash says, "I think we are going to the Electric World, it has been a while since I go there and I am sure that we have a lot of things to do there."
"Like what?" Clemont asks, being an Electric Type Gym Leader in the past, he is curious of what Ash and Lillie would do in the Electric Type World.
"You are going to find out once we get there." Ash says, causing them to groan at the fact that Ash doesn't want to reveal what he is doing there.
