Chapter nine-A silent drip that can ripple an entire ocean.

Giyu pov

There was a slight poke on my side, I ignored it before there was another, and another. "Tomioka-san..". I opened one of my eyes to look to the side spotting those familiar elegant purple eyes. I closed my eyes once more to continue to concentrate on my meditating. "Come on Tomioka-san...You can't ignore me forever. You have to talk to other people more often.".

"It is not needed.." I replied continuing my meditation. "oh my Tomioka-san, But you talk to me. Is that needed?". I could feel my face flush red. " I could hear her soft silky chuckle, it was beautiful. 'ugh! what am I thinking!?...'

I opened my eyes and looked at her, my face still burning from being flustered. " what do you need Shinobu-san?". She gave me a playful frown "ready to get rid of me so soon? How hurtful. We have a pillar meeting in ten minutes". I got up and hopped off the roof of the building."Where are you going?" she spoke, "I'm going to the meeting, you should be heading there too."

As we made our way towards Ubuyashiki estates. As we neared the clearing I spotted the other Hashira there, there was an odd-looking boy there. I tried my best to stand clear away from them. "Oyakata-sama has arrived."

We all knelt down to him "Oyakata-sama it is flamboyant to see you! and we all hope for your good fortunes." I turned to see Tengen-sama looking up at Oyakata-sama.

"thank you for joining me here on this lovely night. Before we get started I would like to introduce to you a new member that will be joining the Hashira ranks, Shizukana shisen, your hard work, and strength have allowed you to rise to the rank of the pillar, do you accept?". The boy did not answer but Oyakata-sama. nodded his head.

"Good...now onto the meeting, Shinobu kocho, Giyu Tomioka, Shizukana shisen you are to go to on a mission to the village of Ushinawareta himei"

TIME SKIP

"This meeting Shall be concluded, You all have the rest of the day off".

"Hey, new kid! wanna go out and eat!" said a hyper as usual Kanroji-san "N...O," said the boy, his voice was so slow, 'why did he talk like that?' i thought to myself. "Oh...okay, then I guess we'll just leave you alone then."

One second the boy was there then the boy was gone. "where... Did he go?"
