Gabriel paced nervously in his office. He had left the window open as an invitation for the heroes to enter without using the main entrance.

He knew his son was Chat Noir.

He knew Marinette was Ladybug.

He knew Marinette cared deeply for his son.

He also knew his son spent a lot of time googling Ladybug.

"And they really have no idea about each other?" The seasoned designer questioned Tikki once again.

The little being deadpanned. "Yes they had no idea." Tikki reminded him, "they might know everything now though."

"But they spent so much time together." He said incredulously, "how did they not realise?"

"Because they followed the rules." Tikki pointed out in a squeaky, reprimanding tone.

Gabriel grimaced slightly.

"How I have missed you Tikki," Nooroo chuckled, giving his long time friend a fond hug, "we're out of cookies by the way."

Gabriel shot a feigned accusatory look at Tikki, "that's the fourth box today."

"What can I say?" She squeaked with a chuckle, "they're my favourites!" Nooroo let go of the red Kwami while Gabriel sent a message for Nathalie to send for a dozen boxes. It may have seemed like a lot, but he did not know how much more the Kwami would demolish.

"You might want to get some Camembert too." TIkki addressed Gabriel with a knowing look, "it may help with the grovelling!" The tiny being raised where eyebrows would be.

"Thank you TIkki," the seasoned designer smiled with appreciation while he watched the two Kwami perch on the side of his desk. "Do you think Adrien will forgive me?"

TIkki and Nooroo both looked toward a now solemn Gabriel before exchanging a silent glance. Nooroo nodded and Tikki floated up to the greying man's eyes, "What you have done so far is not ideal, but you are making changes and are willing to work with them both."

Nooroo joined his fellow Kwami, "just explain everything to him and hopefully he will see you were doing it with good intentions."

Tikki added: "Adrien is bound to be experiencing many emotions, how about you take your time and cues from them, and see how it pans out." Gabriel smiled slightly at the two Kwami before him.

"Thank you both."

Gabriel was becoming very fond of this little red creature, and could see why Marinette and TIkki had been such a good match. In a short amount of time, the powerful Goddess had chastised him, comforted him, pouted at him, brought Nooroo out of their shell, admittedly he had been the one to put them in there, and eaten him out of house and home of cookies. He was that fond of the little deity, he had even sent for the special macarons only perfected by Mr Dupain, her favourite, as she had confirmed.

His light mood suddenly turned to one of anticipation, as the open window creaked and he turned to find that he now had company.

A nervous looking Multimouse stood holding hands with a stoic Chat Noir. Gabriel knew his son was becoming a man but he had not realised how much his teenage son had filled out, and he surmised that he should maybe be getting a few more calories in his diet to account for his superhero duties. However, that could be discussed at a later point in time.

Gabriel smiled kindly at the teenagers before him, a sight that surprised Chat. He had not seen his father appear so pleased to see anyone since his mother had disappeared. "Multimouse, thank you for coming so quickly." He addressed the heroine clad in grey before turning to her partner. "Chat Noir," he bowed his head slightly, causing Chat to wonder what the hell had gotten into his father. "I am glad that you have decided to meet with me."

"Mr Agreste." Chat acknowledged coolly, "you wanted to explain your reasonings for tormenting Paris to me yourself, I believe?" His pointed green eyes caused Gabriel to look regretfully to the floor. 'Seriously, this can not be my father!'

Although the blonde haired hero was the picture perfect image of calm and composure, inside Chat was barely keeping it together. His heart was in his throat while his stomach continuously flipped wildly. If it was not for the hand belonging to his lady, lacing it's fingers with his, he was sure he would have collapsed by now. He felt her give his hand a slight squeeze in reassurance, to tell him to trust what was happening.

"Yes," the aged designer affirmed Chat's words with a small nod.

"Mr Agreste," Multimouse started, "would you like us to look for Adrien first."

Gabriel looked between the two suited up heroes with surprise, "he-you…" Gabriel realised by Multimouse's look of confusion and Chat's thinned lips and suddenly rigid stature, that Marinette was not aware that Adrien stood next to her.

"Is everything alright?"

Gabriel continued to gape between them before resting his gaze on Chat. "We can focus on Adrien's whereabouts once I have explained everything."

'He knows…' Chat did not know how, but he was certain his father knew his son stood before him.

Multimouse was taken aback "stop squeaking," looking with concern to the seasoned designer as herself, she found her hand being held even tighter. "Mr Agreste, Gabriel," she pleaded, "if there is any chance he has found out about this we need to find him. God knows what would be going on in his head, he needs to know, just as much as Chat if not more."

Adrien's father looked briefly at the blonde with a small nod, confirming Chat's suspicions silently, his eyebrows raised slightly. A small smile then graced Gabriel's lips, looking to the young lady with fondness and adoration for how much she cared for his son. His son, who was currently tearing up beside her, not looking away from the young beauty.

Mullo made their way over to the other Kwami on Gabriel's desk, shaking their head teasingly at the empty box of cookies before being pulled away by Nooroo who was leading him to the kitchen. TIkki stayed put, silently watching the exchange with trepidation.

"Mari." Chat managed to choke out under his father's knowing gaze. Pulling her attention to him, he cupped her cheeks, a tear making its way down his cheek, "remember what I said before." He rested his forehead on hers, grateful that Gabriel had turned his back to give them a little privacy, "I trust you."

She nodded, blue eyes searching his green.

"Claws-
