A/N: Hey, guys. In the previous chapter, we saw Sneezy's point of view. Due to the problems he accidentally causes with his sneezing, which sometimes resulted in one of his brothers getting hurt, getting dirty, or ended up splashing drool, boogers and snot staining everything or ruining the meals, Sneezy began to feel a useless imbecile who always ruins everything, to the point that at a certain point he started to isolate himself in the bathroom, especially after Sleepy risked death. However, Doc realized this when Dopey, Bashful and Sleepy let him know, he reassured him that what he said was not true, and none of their brothers blamed him. Let's now see Dopey's point of view. Let's begin.

After Snow White's death, for Dopey, who thought of nothing but her, every day was the same, and not in a good way. Among his brothers, he was, apart from Bashful, the one who loved her most, to the point where he always sought her attention, and the thing he missed most about her was her kisses. He always ate breakfast reluctantly, as he could barely eat, and desperately needed support, but with everyone being too devastated by grief and with Happy often too depressed to be able to support them emotionally, one of his brothers stayed by his side for a while. On the day they found the princess's body, it was raining so hard that even the clouds seemed in mourning, with a sky as gray as smoke, thunder seemed like blows to the heart, and it still happened over the course of the months.

Over the days, he thought about his relationship with his brothers. Doc, as the eldest brother and leader, had to take care of them, and due to the large age gap between him and Dopey, he often behaved like a father towards him, but at the same time, they had different personalities, with Doc's seriousness in contrast to Dopey's immaturity. Grumpy was not mean to him, on the contrary, he had even admitted his true feelings for everyone after the beatuiful princess's death, but he's generally the one who tolerated his antics the least, which leads him to trust him less than the others. Happy, with his cheerful personality (which he now seemed to have lost), always comforted him when he needed his support, and was more tolerant of him than Doc and Grumpy, albeit with his limits, and sometimes he played and sang a song that always helped him feel better. He trusted Sleepy with his secrets, which he never told anyone, but he got along better with Bashful and Sneezy because they knew what it felt like to be embarrassed every day, one way or another. Bashful was always very caring, and Sneezy often humored him in their activities, for example, when they danced with Snow White during the Silly Song, a moment they remembered with nostalgia. The nights, however, were like torture: almost every night she ended up having terrible nightmares about what had happened to Snow White and about his brothers being killed by the witch, so creepy he screamed and woke up those who were still awake, and for three and a half months, he said nothing about this to them because he didn't want to bother them with yet another fit of the day, and it was bad enough that Sleepy had nearly died of cardiac arrest.

At the moment, Grumpy was playing a sad song on the piano. Happy did the same with his guitar, and everyone started to sing.

After bursting into tears for what it seemed like the thousandth time, all the dwarfs went to bed, and Dopey tossed and turned, feeling uneasy.

The seven dwarfs ran home, hoping to save Snow White, but they heard an evil laugh and saw the witch, just in front of the cottage. ''Oh no... don't tell me that...'' Sleepy murmured.

''Now that Snow White is dead, I will be the fairest in the land!'' the witch laughed.

''You won't get away with this!'' cried Doc.

''We'll stop ya, you ugly hag!'' Grumpy added.

''Have it your way. I'll kill you first, then I'll go back to the castle!'' After these words, the witch drank a potion, and when the smoke cleared, she was back in her true form: the Evil Queen.

The dwarves pulled out their axes and clubs, ready to fight. Try as they might, managing to hit the Queen a few times, they were pushed back and hit by her black magic. Dopey, frightened, stayed close to Grumpy.

''Let's see where to start. Ah, yes, the leader!'' said Grimhilde.

Grumpy and the others were worried about Doc, realizing that the Queen was referring to him. With a spell, he emitted toxic fumes that headed towards him and Sneezy.

''Doc! Sneezy! Watch out!'' shouted Sleepy, pushing them away, and the magic had an effect on him instead. Suddenly he felt terrible pain in his stomach and began to vomit. Dopey attacked and hit Grimilde several times with his pickaxe, but was then struck by a fire magic.

''Sleepy, what's wrong?!'' exclaimed Doc, beside himself with concern. While Sleepy vomited, he realized that it was not normal: the barf was mixed with bile and blood, creating a sickening pool, and the dwarf made distorted and guttural sounds, as if he was choking, and his skin turned greenish. Grumpy quickly closed Dopey's eyes, as he was squirming in agitation.

After a minute, Sleepy stopped throwing up and fell on his side in his own body fluids, but he didn't move anymore. All his brothers immediately ran towards him. ''Sleepy, what's the matter? Hey! Answer me!'' Grumpy shouted, shaking him.

''Sleepy's not moving!'' Happy shouted, realizing that his brother had stopped breathing.

''No. No! Guys, what the hell happened?! Sleepy!'' Sneezy yelled, not wanting to believe what had happened. Sleepy, poisoned by that magic, was dead.

The Evil Queen chuckled. ''You will join him very soon... in death!''

Grumpy gritted his teeth angrily as Dopey sobbed on his shoulder. A strange and mysterious force grabbed Sneezy and slammed him to the ground several times, with the impact leaving ugly bleeding bruises on his face. He was then thrown into the air, with the wind making his fall very unstable.

Dopey tried to jump forward to grab him and cushion his fall, but he couldn't get enough momentum, and everyone heard the sound of broken bones. They looked at Sneezy and saw that the position of his neck was absolutely not normal. He had landed straight on the back of his head, and the impact had broken his neck.

''Sneezy, are you okay?! No, Sneezy! Don't leave us! SNEEZY!'' Bashful screamed.

''No... Sneezy's dead!'' Happy exclaimed, with tears in his eyes.

It was clear as the only one that Sneezy would not have survived such a fall, especially at this height and from such an angle.

Doc furiously attacked along with his other four remaining brothers, but they were all knocked back. Grimhilde then used a spell to summon a boulder that fell on the leader of the seven dwarfs, who tried to block it, but to no avail, being crushed himself and dying instantly. Everyone was horrified, and they saw his flattened body, his neck snapped like a twig, his clothes full of rips and his glasses broken in a thousand pieces.

''No, not this!'' Happy shouted, crying. With one arm, he tried to comfort poor Dopey, who was sobbing on his shoulder.

Grumpy was now filled with horror as he shook his brother's lifeless body. ''Doc! You can't die! No! Doc! DOOOOOOC!'' he screamed. While questioning his leadership on some occasions, he was close to his heart, and he felt full of anger at that horrible woman for killing him along with Sleepy and Sneezy. ''You will pay for killing my brothers!'' he roared.

Bashful couldn't take it anymore. In his anger, he took Grimhilde by surprise with an attack from behind. His shyness also made him very stealthy, and he was capable of camouflaging himself in various hiding places as if he were a chameleon(2).

Grimhilde, however, struck the shy dwarf with a fireball and used magic to summon lightning. Bashful got elecrocuted and screamed in pain as he felt what felt like at least 1000 volts in his body, then fell to the ground. Dopey was shaking like a leaf and gesturing like crazy.

Bashful got to his feet, but didn't have time to plan another surprise attack that Grimhilde used black magic again, and some spikes appeared and pierced him up to his chest. From the pain he felt, he felt like he was being pierced by a hundred spears at once.

''Oh, no!'' Happy shouted, in total panic.

''Bashful, get out of there!'' Grumpy exclaimed, covering a horrified Dopey's face.

''If I move, I'll only make things worse!'' Bashful replied.

''It's time for you to die too!'' Grimhilde said, using an ice magic that froze Bashful, and then another one shattered the ice. The shy dwarf screamed as he felt his body torn apart. He was now without legs or arms and with clothes all torn that left much of his torn skin visible, and as he bled out in Grumpy's arms, his vision was clouding.

''Come on, Bashful! You can't do this to us!'' Grumpy exclaimed.

''I'm... I'm sorry, guys...'' Bashful murmured, before closing his eyes.

''No! NO! Bashful, don't do this to us! Bashful! BASHFUL!'' a devastated Happy screamed, his face full of tears. Now there were only three of them left. Bashful, so sweet and kind to the others, was dead too. Shortly thereafter, he felt an atypical fury inside him as he charged at Grimilde, pickaxe in hand and hit her in the face with it, followed by a blow with his club. ''WHY HIM?! IF YOU KILL DOPEY TOO, I'LL KILL YOU!'' he roared. Dopey was taken by surprise by the anger of his normally cheerful and optimistic brother, but he seemed as angry as he was, uttering screams and ferocious gestures.

But the Evil Queen wasn't done yet. With a spell, he summoned what appeared to be blades, and Happy tried to defend himself with his pickaxe, but with little success, ending up stabbed a few times. Grumpy intervened to help him, but he was overwhelmed and to his horror, a blade larger than the others hit Happy horizontally in the waist, and he seemed to be unable to feel his legs. Dopey let out a cry, and the other two realized why: Happy had been literally cut in two, and without his legs to support his upper body, he fell to the ground.

Dopey was about to burst into tears to see Happy about to die. ''I... I no longer feel... my body...'' murmured the burliest dwarf, before closing his eyes. His flame had gone out too.

''Don't die on me, Happy! What are we going to do with Dopey?! Happy! HAPPY!'' Grumpy screamed. By now, he felt tears in his eyes. With fire in his eyes, he hugged Dopey close with one hand, while with the other one, he pointed his pickaxe at Grimhilde with clenched teeth in fury.

Both of the remaining dwarves, full of anger, attacked, but Dopey saw a blade in front of him, and Grumpy, to protect him, pushed him away, being pierced in the heart and dying like the other five brothers, leaving him alone in front of the mass of six corpses in a huge pool of blood mixed with Sleepy's body fluids. The young dwarf, petrified with fear, couldn't move and let out a scream as more blades flew towards him.

A loud, high-pitched scream of fright from Dopey as he woke with a start mingled with that of his six brothers, all worried about him. ''Dopey, are you alright?'' asked Sneezy.

The young dwarf, with his hands on his bald head, was breathing so rapidly that it seemed his heart was about to splash from his chest, and sweat was soaking all over his skin and pajamas.

''Did you have a bad dream?'' Happy asked.

Dopey, still too scared, shook his head.

''Come on, Dopey! You can't go on like this forever!'' Grumpy esclaimed.

''Grumpy's right. You have to trust us. This has been going on for three and a half months, and it has to stop. What's more, we couldn't sleep either, and for ten minutes, you screamed in your sleep and couldn't stop tossing and turning. Come on, tell us everything.'' said Doc, worried.

When Dopey calmed down enough, he gestured all the details of his dream: not being able to save Snow White, coming face to face with the witch, who is really the Evil Queen, Snow White's stepmother, and finally all the dwarfs being killed. brutally, only to wake up when he was left alone. Once it was all over, he burst into tears. Everyone was very shocked.

''That's nightmare material!'' Sleepy exclaimed.

''I agree.'' said Sneezy. ''Is it a recurring nightmare?''

Dopey nodded slowly.

''Thenwhy didn't you tell us? We've been seeing this for three and a half months and you've never told us anything about it. Why?'' asked Doc, very concerned.

The youngest dwarf began to make seemingly incomprehensible gestures and faces, like a frightened face as he closed his eyes, and fell on the bed in a corpse-like position, but that his brothers could understand. It was his way of communicating, since he had never tried to speak.

''I think he said that he didn't want to bother us with yet another of his scenes and that we already had enough trouble to think about, especially after Sleepy had risked dying from a cardiac arrest. He also says that because of this nightmare, he has even begun to be afraid to close his eyes, lost the will to sleep and is scarred for life.'' Sneezy translated.

''These are times you need to ask for help, Dopey. We will always be here if you need it.'' Bashful said, putting a hand on his chest, close to his heart.

''Quite right. And this nightmare is not true. Don't worry about me, I'm fine.'' added Sleepy.

Grumpy thought back to a nasty fight he'd had with Dopey the previous month, about three and a half weeks before Sleepy a suffered cardiac arrest and when everyone was still using caffeine.

(Flashback)

It was time to go to bed, but Dopey, terribly frightened, hallucinated, seeing the witch everywhere and screaming repeatedly.

''Would you stop screaming?!'' snapped Grumpy.

The situation didn't change, and Grumpy lunged at Dopey, starting a fight between the two of them. Sleepy, Bashful and Sneezy didn't dare to interfere, since they didn't like conflicts, and Bashful was nervous.

''No, stop! Dopey, please! Grumpy, stop! Come on, guys, stop fighting!'' exclaimed Happy, who had stood between the two litigants, in an attempt to put an end to the discussion.

''Stay out of this, Happy!'' Grumpy snapped, punching him in the nose so hard that he landed against the table. The argument got so bad that he ended up headbutting hard that he almost lost consciousness.

''STOP IT!'' screamed Doc. Everyone, taken by surprise by that scream, turned their gaze to their leader, who seemed furious, and Grumpy and Dopey stopped fighting, but still gave each other dirty looks.

''That's enough, both of you! You are behaving in a very immature way! Dopey, you need to stop screaming at this time of night! If anyone heard you, they would think you were mad!'' yelled Doc angrily, scolding those who had quarreled, turning first to Dopey, who lowered his head in shame. ''And you, Grumpy, this reaction was so unecessary! What if something bad happened to Dopey and Happy because of you?! Huh?! Huh?!'' he then turned to Grumpy, and with his nose very close to that of his brother, he took him by surprise.

Sleepy hid his face in his beard out of nervousness, while Bashful blushed and covered his face with his hat and Sneezy was nervous. All six knew their oldest brother was very serious and didn't tolerate nonsense, but they had never seen him so angry, and even Grumpy looked scared.

''The point is, you guys shouldn't fight like that! Now you two go upstairs and think about what you've done!'' The leader of the seven dwarfs continued his lecture, pointing at the stairs with a finger.

''But, Doc...'' Grumpy protested.

''No ''buts'', Grumpy!'' Doc cut him short.

Realizing that it was arguing was useless, Dopey went up the stairs, followed by Grumpy.

''Are you okay, Happy?'' asked Sleepy.

''It's nothing, guys. I don't know about you, but I'm really worried. I've never seen Doc get so angry.'' Happy said, very worried.

''I agree. I don't like conflicts.'' Sneezy added.

Doc calmed down after half an hour, and wondered if he had raised his voice too much, seeing the worried and almost frightened look of four of his brothers. Later, he decided to go to the bedroom to check on the others, and saw Grumpy sitting on his bed, lost in thought. ''Grumpy?'' he called in a low voice.

''What is it, Doc?'' Grumpy asked.

''I was thinking. Sleepy, Happy, Bashful and Sneezy were very nervous after what happened, and I think maybe I shouldn't have yelled like that.'' answered Doc.

The leanest dwarf then looked at one of the beds on the right side, pointing to Dopey under the pillow. '' I tried toapologize to Dopey for what happened, but he didn't answer me. I thought he didn't hear me, so I tried again, but no luck.'' he said.

''Maybe he's not ready to talk to you yet. You should wait a bit. said Doc.

'' Listen, Doc, I'm sorry. I don't know what got into me.'' Grumpy apologized.

''It doesn't matter. It's my fault too. We're not getting enough sleep and the caffeine is not improving the situation much. When we don't get enough sleep, we're not lucid.'' replied his brother.

''So what will we do with Dopey and the others? Dopey didn't want to talk to me, and from what you said, it seemed like they were afraid of you.''

''For starters, I'm going to apologize to them if I scared them. About Dopey, we can try to apologize to him later.''

''All right.''

(Flashback end)

Grumpy sighed and turned to Dopey. ''Dopey, I'm sorry for how I acted that time. I didn't know what you were going through because you didn't explain it to us. If you had told us everything, we would have helped you.''

Dopey smiled at Grumpy and hugged him, much to his surprise.

''See? He forgave you.'' Bashul said.

Followed by the other four, Doc embraced his youngest brother. ''Dopey, you could have told us about all this at any time. We're your older brothers, and you shouldn't be ashamed or afraid to tell us. We would have helped you.'' he added, with fatherly concern.

''We should go to sleep.'' Grumpy said. And Dopey, don't worry about that nightmare. If you have it again, just think about us, we'll help you get through it.''

Dopey nodded, and everyone fell asleep.

Over the months, Dopey still had a hard time sleeping peacefully, and nightmares still haunted him, but thanks to the support of his brothers, the nightmares didn't happen as often, and certainly not every night. With what happened to Snow White, he had to face reality, but doing so was very difficult. He found some company in the animals, with whom he whistled and talked(3), but the situation did not change. The routine was the same as in the last few months, and even during the spring, nothing changed, as without Snow White, it seemed as if all happiness was gone from the house and the woods, and no matter how much everyone tried to get used to it, it didn't work. very well. Everyone was helping him through this bad time, and he appreciated it, but he knew and felt thatit wasn't going to be enough. The situation was uncertain.
