Disclaimer: i do not own Godzilla or Supergirl.

Jayden's eyes blinked open and he closed his eyes as he groaned and yawned before going to stretch when he felt something against his side. He opened his eyes to see Kara, with her hair down and her glasses off, curled up against his side and sleeping with a peaceful look on her face that made the hero's heart flutter.

'She's so beautiful.' Jayden thought as he gently ran a finger through a strand of her blonde hair when he heard a soft ringing nearby,

Looking around, he spotted Kara's phone on the table and reached forward, quickly picking it up, looking to see Alex was calling so he answered. "Kara's phone."

"Jayden? Why are you answering Kara's phone? Where is she?" Alex asked, sounding like the overprotective sister she is.

"We were watching Game of Thrones last night and she fell asleep at my place." He could almost hear the line of questions that would be coming next and quickly spoke. "And no, nothing happened. We both fell asleep on the couch, I just woke up actually."

Alex sighed over the line. "I'm just glad to know where she is. When she didn't message me or anything last night when I cancelled our bonding night, I got worried."

"I can imagine." Jayden said. "She came over to my place from work and she just fell asleep here. " he checked the time and hummed. "Alex, I gotta go. Better wake Kara up so she can get to work."

"Alright. thanks for being honest with me. And thanks for being there for her when I was-"

"It's fine, Alex. You were busy, it happens." they exchanged a few more words with each other before they hung up and Jayden placed Kara's phone down before he gently shook Kara's shoulder. "Kara? Wake up."

The response was a soft groan from the Kryptonian who buried her face into his side. Smirking at how she was acting in avoiding getting up, he decided to try another tactic.

"You're gonna be late and Cat will be pissed."

The response was instant. Kara snapped away and sat up, looking left and right before her attention came to a chuckling Jayden and she figured it out, giving him a look. "Not cool." She said before yawning, which made her look cute.

"Don't worry. it's still early for you to go to CatCo." Jayden said as he stood and walked over into the kitchen while Kara tied her hair in it's usual bun and placed her glasses on before she followed him into the kitchen as he took some doughnuts and handed them to her. He made himself some cereal.

"Last night was fun." Kara said as they sat down.

"Better than spending the night alone." Jayden agreed as he made them coffee. "And I got you into Game of Thrones, now I just need to turn you into a Walking dead fan.

"I hope we can sit and watch them again." Kara smiled widely before realizing it. "I mean, if you don't mind."

"i wouldn't mind you having another sleepover here." Jayden chuckled, which made Kara blush a little.

Later that night, Jayden attended game night with Kara, learning that she was fighting a robot named Red Tornado by order of General Sam lane. Jayden stayed away upon hearing that man had showed up, knowing of his hatred for Superman and really didn't want to know what would happen if he was there, hell even his daughter, Lucy Lane, was there.

Kara had also been very angry lately, having a short fuse, such as when Cat was in a foul mood due to her mother showing up. cat said Kara should act professional instead of 'throwing' herself at Jayden whenever he visited her.

Kara didn't tell Jayden that, just kept her anger in check.

Now, here Jayden was doing game night with Kara, Winn, James and Lucy. They were doing a game of charades.

"Eggplant!" James said, trying to figure out what Lucy was trying to project.

"Yes!" The major cheered at the correct answer before she picked up another card. "Oh! We've always wanted to go to this place?"

James clenched his eyes before he opened them when he got an answer. "Machu Picchu!"

"Yes!"

Jayden sent a subtle look at Kara as he took a swing of beer as the couple continued to plow ahead in points.

He could tell she was still very frustrated with everything that happened in the last day, and no matter how hard she tried to hide it, anyone who knew how to look could see that she doing all in her power to not have an outburst.

The others were oblivious to this, but Jayden had senses far better than normal humans and could sense the anger. "Time! Time's up." Kara said when the timer finally ran out, James and Lucy racking up more points with their impressive team work.

"11" Winn said, being the scorekeeper for the game.

"Wow, you guys. You make a really great team." Kara said.

"Oh, it helps when you really know your partner." Lucy said and pulled James into a kiss.

"Hey you two!" Jayden exclaimed, making them jump apart. "Don't get freaky on the couch because I sit there." The timer was reset and the hero stood with his own cards while Kara prepared to answer.

"Okay, most feared dino in the past." Jayden said, seeing the answer.

"T-Rex!" The blonde shouted. They watched Jurassic Park several times.

"Boom!" Jayden said, going to the next one. "We watched this show, has zombies-"

"The Walking Dead!" Kara exclaimed, getting it right again.

"The gambling city of the world."

"Uh...Las Vegas!"

"Capital of Scotland."

"Edinburgh!"

"Giant monster with spines."

"Godzilla!"

They went back and fourth for the duration of their turn, coming to an abrupt end when Jayden got to a card that had Superman as the answer. "Woah guys." Winn said, adding it all up. "11 as well. That ties you with James and Lucy."

"Meh, that one would be easy since it's Superman." Jayden said as he tossed the card onto the table and sat back down beside Kara.

"You should have just said Jimmy Olsen's special boyfriend." Lucy said jokingly, which got a couple of laughs from around the room. "I met his little cousin today. Supergirl." She said when the laughter died down.

"Oh you did?" James said. "What do you think?"

The Major shrugged. "I wasn't that impressed." That statement caused all good vibes to go flying out the room. "It's like when you see a movie star in person and you're like, "Is that it?" I guess that's it."

Looking at her out the corner of his eyes, Jayden saw a look of hurt flash across Kara's face when she saw James just sitting there and not defending her other persona in any way. This didn't sit well with the son of Godzilla.

"That's a pretty nasty assumption from someone who just met her once." Jayden said once Lucy was finished, his eyes locked on her.

"I've read the same reports about her that my father received. Compared to her cousin-"

"She's not here to be a copycat or ripoff to her cousin." Jayden said. "And saying someone isn't as good as someone else, even family, is just disrespectful."

Lucy sat up straighter, her face sharp while James looked uncomfortable. "You seem adamant in defending Supergirl."

Jayden didn't back down. ""I prefer to defend someone who isn't here to defend her name just because the Government thinks she will be a threat."

"It's our job to monitor potential threats to civilians." Lucy said strongly. "Despite all the good she's doing, Supergirl can still be a threat, same with Zilla considering who he's related to."

"Funny, I don't remember seeing Godzilla going out his way to cause destruction when he's saved this planet longer than Superman." Jayden said, fists clenching out of view but Kara noticed. "The Government will always consider beings like Superman, Supergirl, and Zilla threats because of their powers, because of their strength and that the Government, specifically the military can control them like they are a bunch of pets, because they aren't human and want to study and just use them to create more."

Lucy stood, sending Jayden a glare that would freeze anyone on the spot but Jayden just raised an eyebrow. "I think I better go." James stood, offering to walk her to her car, sending Jayden a similar look as the couple left.

"I think I better go as well." Winn said awkwardly as he stood and left as well. "It's getting late."

The two heroes looked around before Jayden sighed. "Sorry for ruining game night." Jayden said tiredly.

"No it's okay." Kara said, taking her glasses off and rubbed her eyes before she looked at him. "You didn't need to defend me like that."

"Someone had to." Jayden said. "I'm tired of us being compared to Superman and Godzilla all the time, that we are not as great as them, not as strong or powerful as them when we are not doing this to show we're better than them, but we just want to help."

"i know what you mean." Kara said softly and they just sat there in silence.

"Hey, since game night is basically over...Walking Dead marathon?" Jayden offered.

Kara smiled and nodded...

Jayden stood, in his Zilla form, in the desert somewhere outside of National City, slamming his fists into rocks to get his anger out of his system. He had been feeling it ever since last night when Lucy spoke bad about him and Kara.

He tail smacked the rock into pieces and breathed heavily before he took a deep breath then exhaled, feeling more calmer now that he had let it all out. His head snapped up when he heard what sounded like fighting and Kara's grunts so he narrowed his eyes, leaped onto a taller rock where he got a good vew of the DEO facility and narrowed his eyes when he saw Kara fighting the robot Red Tornado as part of this...'test'.

he watched Kara beat the robot but she wasn't stopping as she was too lost in her fury to stop. Jayden knew he had to step in so he leaped down and landed in between her and the robot.

In the tent where people were watching, Sam lane smirked. "Well this will be interesting..."

"Supergirl, calm down." Jayden said, looking at her calmly. Supergirl, too lost in her fury and anger to recognize who it was, yelled as she went to punch him but Jayden blocked it and tossed her aside. "Calm down! Don't make me fight you."

Supergirl flew at him and tackled him to the ground, landing a few rights before Jayden growled and backhanded her off him. Supergirl got to her feet only to be picked up and slammed into the ground then Jayden pulled her close, opened his mouth and-

"SSSSSSSKKKKKKKKKRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNKKKKKKKKK!"

The loud, infamous Godzilla roar, made many in the tent feel their bones vibrate. Supergirl blinked as she came out of her haze of fury and looked up tos ee Zilla standing over her before he looked at the robot which suddenly took off.

Snorting, Zilla began to leave as Supergirl got to her feet with her sister, Hank, General Lane and Lucy running over to them.

"Are you hurt?" Alex asked her sister.

Kara shook her head looking up at the sky, feeling guilt inside pf her for fighting with somebody she cared for greatly. She glanced at Zilla who was still walking away.

"She must have triggered his emergency self-preservation function." Dr. Morrow said as he checked his computer.

"I can't see it." Kara said.

"He's in stealth mode, making him 100% undetectable."

"This is your fault!" The General bellowed, pointing at the Girl of Steel.

Somebody heard this and paused as he felt anger build up inside of him.

Kara turned to the General with an angry look. "You asked me to fight it!"

"And now your recklessness has unleashed an uncontrollable killing machine on National City." The man went on, putting all the blame on the Kryptonian.

Something landed in between Supergirl and Lane, revealing itself to be Zilla and he did not look happy. "Do NOT blame her for YOUR mistakes, General. Why have her fight the damn thing if that was going to happen? Was this some test just so you can bully Supergirl?"

"i'd watch my tone if I were you." The General warned.

"Or what? You gonna try and kill me? No human weapon could do that to my father, what makes you think I can be hurt by human weapons?" Zilla growled befor ehe turned and walked away, leaping away as he decided to go hunt Red Tornado down.

Zilla landed on a rooftop as he looked around for Red Tornado. He was breathing angrily after his confrontation with Sam Lane, the guy rubbed him the wrong way. He has his robot fight Supergirl, then when it breaks he uses her as a scapegoat.

he spotted a red blur pass a building and narrowed his eyes before he touched the earpiece in his right ear. "Alex, Supergirl wouldn't happen to be out and bout, would she?"

"No, she's at CatCo, why?" Alex asked.

"Because if that's not Supergirl I saw...then i may have found our runaway robot." Zilla said befor ehe leaped from the rooftop onto a skyscraper, going after the robot in the direction it went in. "I got eyes on Red Tornado."

"Copy that. Think you can handle it?" Hank asked.

Jayden snorted. "I'll turn this C-3PO ripoff into a ball of trash when I'm finished." He leaped at Red Tornado who suddenly whirled around and backhanded the surprised hero who crashed into a construction site, causing pipes and bricks to fall all over and onto the son of Godzilla.

"Zilla?" Alex asked with concern.

Zilla groaned as he pushed the rubble off him. "I'm okay." He looke dup to see Red Tornado standing there, looking at him. "But this tin can isn't going to be okay when i turn him into a really dented tin can..."

That was Red Tornado part , and you saw Jayden's hate for the Government, specifically the military come through.
