Tucker's POV
What in the world was taking Sam so long. He was standing outside the ladies' room holding Sam's stuff, which she had left in class after never returning from the bathroom over nearly half an hour ago. He thought about going in there to search for Sam, but he was already a nerd, didn't need to add creep or pervert to that by entering the ladies' room. The door to the ladies' room opened for the tenth time while he had been standing there, he looked to see some girl from Jazz class exit and decided to ask her if anyone was still in there.
"Hello there", he said, making sure to block the girl's exits away from him; "You wouldn't by any chance happen to have seen a goth girl in there?" he asked
"Your friend hasn't come back from the bathroom either?" the girl asked him concerned.
"No" he answered surprised, both that the girl was actually talking to him but also that it seamed as if she was missing someone as well; "Who are you looking for?" he asked, already having a pretty good suspicion.
"Jasmine Fenton. She's a girl from my class, her brother must be around your age" the girl said looking at him thoughtfully.
"Yeah Danny Fenton, he's been sick for the past week and a half or so" Tucker told her.
"Oh, guess that explain Jazz odd behavior past two weeks" the girl said, she looked thoughtful for a moment; "She did seem more off today than usual, ran out of class crying when the teacher sent her to the office for not listening in class, which is odd since Jazz is never one for not listening"
"Jazz was sent to the office for not listening in class" Tucker said, this time more shocked than anything.
"Yeah. But I just went to the office since Jazz never came back, just to check on her, they told me she'd never been by there, so I figured I would check the bathroom, but she wasn't there either. I hope she is okay, I mean she's a geek, but she is funny and nice too and I would hate for anything to have happened to her" she told him. Then it dawned on her that she was publically talking to an outcast as well as a freshman and her tone switched, "Either way leave me alone, I haven't seen your odd friend" she said, pushing past him and walking off. So Jazz was missing too he thought, this couldn't be a coincidence, but he would have to wait until after school to find out. He put Sam's stuff in his locker and went to class.
Danny's parents weren't at all happy when he showed up.
"What do you want?" Maddie hissed at him; She had obviously been crying over something, and Jack was unusually quiet.
"What's going on?" he demanded, not bothering about her question or tone used against him, nor did he bother about the stare she sent him for demanding an answer from her without even answering her question. Tucker continued: "First Danny gets sick, and Danny never gets sick; Then this mystery illness last for 9 days where we aren't allowed to see him, nobody answering any questions about him, and Jazz being, sorry for the expression, a ghost of herself…", he was interrupted by Maddie breaking down crying and Jack running over to support and comfort her.
"HOW DARE YOU USE SUCH WORDS IN THIS HOUSE" Jack yelled at him, embracing Maddie in a comforting hug. "I will never hear that awful word again, and we don't know of any Jazz or Danny in this house" he said, slamming the door in Tucker's face. 'That was odd, even for the Fentons' Tucker thought to himself, but left with unanswered questions nonetheless. The next day in school Lancer came and informed the class of the passing of Daniel and Jasmine Fenton, along with a missing persons rapport of Sam Manson; Nobody said anything, they just looked at Tucker with an sympathetic and questioning look, but Tucker didn't notice, he sat there trying to make sense of Lancer's words.
Lancer's POV
He remembered the state Daniel Fenton was in 10 days ago when Jasmine had brought him to him and asked, or rather demanded, that Danny be sent home sick; The kid had been shivering and barely able to stand, his skin so pale he looked like a ghost. But to hear those words now, stating that Daniel had died the day before, seemed unreal to him. And then to further be informed that Jasmine, who although she had been unusually quiet and getting paler as well had seemed fine, was dead as well, seemed even more unreal to him. He had only just hung up the phone with Maddie Fenton, giving her his condolences, when another call came from the Manson household; Sam Manson was missing, she had never returned home from school the day before, Lancer thinking back couldn't recall having seen the girl since some time before lunch the day before. This was going to be a long hard day Lancer thought to himself, sighting as he yet again hung up the phone from an unreal call.
