Stay With Me Forever
Please excuse me in posting this chapter so late and if it's smaller than normal. Life just gets a head of most people. People, being me... Still in the middle of a move and it's hard to keep up with what is packed and what needs to be donated because someone took my sharpie marker to mark boxes... (Looking at my kids.) Plus I've hit a major writer's block. -.-" Anyway... I hope this will make you happy until my next post! Enjoy!
Ch 8
Jenny woke up in her room, her shoes beside her bed, her blanket on top of her. She was still wearing her outfit from the night before and her hair had fallen. She sat up and stretched her body out before getting up.
Quickly picking out a new outfit, she placed her clothes on her bed and went into the bathroom and undressed after turning the shower on and grabbing a couple of towels to dry off. After taking a relaxing shower, she turned the water off and wrapped a towel around her hair after patting her body dry. Using the other towel, she wrapped herself up and headed into room to scream.
Jacob sat at her computer desk, leaned back, arms behind his head, eyes closed. He shot them open when he heard Jenny scream out. He blushed and quickly covered his eyes with his hands. "I'll just... Breakfast is downstairs ready." And with that, Jacob got up and felt his way to the door before taking off, closing the door behind him.
Jenny watched, tomato faced. How did he not know that she wasn't dressed? Her clothes were right on the bed! Shaking other thoughts out of her head, she got dressed in her underwear, some form fitting blue jean leggings, and a oversized purple off the shoulder sweater. Using the towel on her head, she towel dried her hair and brushed it out before putting it in a bun.
Doing a quick glance over, she opened her door and cautiously walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. Jacob held a mug of coffee as he leaned against the counter, still blushing. The image of Jenny in nothing but a towel effected him big time, but he knew he couldn't act on those feeling yet. Jenny cleared her throat.
He looked up and at her and placed his mug down. Screw it, he thought, and walked over to her and wrapped her in his arms and kissed her.
Surprised and slightly startled, Jenny closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around Jacob's neck and kissed him back. The pulling of the imprint was strong in both of them, and they knew it. They pulled back from each other for air and jumped even more when Paul and Sam came walking through the front door.
Sam smirked as Paul chuckled.
"Looks like we caught them in a compromising position, Sam," Paul joked to the alpha.
"Sure looks like it, Paul. And dear brother of mine, maybe we should pull this one out to the back and give him a talk on playing with emotions," Sam said with a grin. Jacob growled in annoyance. Jenny only blushed and patted his chest.
"They wouldn't do that to you Jake..." Jenny mocked whispered and went to the table where her imprint left her breakfast of eggs, bacon, and some decent pancakes. All three shape shifters did a double look at her statement.
"You called me Jake..."
"Well... We are together now... At least I guess we are.. And Jacob sounds... serious and would be more of when you're in trouble now..." Jenny explained, looking for the syrup. Finding it, she took the bottle and poured some on her pancakes. She looked confused before going and grabbing a glass and poured herself some orange juice.
Sam and Paul clapped Jake on his back, in congratulations and sat at the table themselves. Jake, in stride, picked up Jenny and placed him in his lap as he sat in her chair. Jenny blushed as she began on her breakfast. This going against her hold of three dates of proving himself to her, but then again, she blamed the imprint pull.
"So what brings you two into my home this morning," Jenny asked and started on the bacon.
"The rogue vampire came back last night while you two were out," Sam said.
"Nobody got hurt did they?" Jenny asked while Jake asked, "Why didn't you call me?"
"No and because you needed to be with Jenny," Paul responded back, watching the remaining bacon disappear into Jenny's mouth. Sam rolled his eyes at Paul.
"Plus... Leech lover and family are back in Forks to help get the stupid rogue," Paul with bit of bite at the fact that the vampires were back. Jenny froze and her fork crashed into her plate. Metal hitting ceramic rang through the air.
"She's back?..." She whispered.
"I'm right here, Jenny. I'm not going to run off to her when she calls, if she calls. She has her leech now and I'm with you, okay?" Jake whispered to Jenny, running his hands up and down her arms. Jenny leaned back into him as a tear rolled down her cheek. Sam and Paul watched carefully and tensed.
"You are mine, Jacob Black..." Jenny said as she looked up to Jake's face. Jake looked down at her, "As you are mine, Jenny Baxter." Jenny kissed him and he kissed her back before pulling away to look to the other two in the room.
"Where did the rogue go?" Jake asked, giving Jenny back her fork and nudged her to finish eating.
"It went the same way as it did last time. It lingered around here for a bit-"
"Probably looking for Jenny and-"
"-and then went for the cliffs," Sam said and ignored Paul's statement.
"Dr. Fang did have an idea as in why he is here though, and it's not good," Paul said, finishing up his statement.
"What did he say?" Jake asked, not liking how this was sounding.
"She is his singer and he's looking for a way to get to her to drain her dry," Paul said grimly. Jenny suddenly went green and tried to keep a steady breath.
"The cowboy is working on a plan on getting the rogue to come out without Jenny getting hurt. It might be another Victoria situation," Sam told them quietly, not liking how pale Jenny went. Panic attacks ran through her side of the family and Paul could see the signs beginning. She began shaking her head, was breathing heavily, trying to hide into herself, rubbing her arms.
"I can't..." She repeated to herself. Many versions of what could happen played in her head. Only one came out good, but all the other five scenes kept at it. Jake didn't know what to do.
"Wrap your arms around her tight, like a security blanket. Try to get her breathing down to steady beat like yours. Either her ear or hand to hear or feel the beating."
Jake did just that and it took fifteen minutes of holding her, placing her head on his chest, and whispering that it would be okay, everyone would be okay, and they'll keep her safe, before she calmed down and relaxed against him, falling into a light sleep.
"She probably hasn't have an attack since before she left if she fell asleep... I know they took a lot out of her for a small episode," Paul stated.
"Small?" Jake asked, worried.
"Panic attacks ran through her side of the family by her dad. Most episodes run for about thirty minutes to an hour. Could be longer if no one is near by the help her through it. This is small."
"Best to cover her scent and have her stay somewhere else for a while... For now, let her rest," Sam suggested quietly. Jake stood, keeping a hold of Jenny, he went into the living room and sat on the couch and covered Jenny with a blanket. Heat and weight should help her. He sighed as Sam and Paul took their leave. He had an idea on how to hide Jenny, but it probably break the trust he just got in her.
He grabbed his phone out of his pant pocket swiftly and dialed a number.
"Hello, Jacob."
"Carlisle... I need help and I think you and Jasper may be the only ones who can do this..."
Jake then went on telling the vampire doctor his plan and why he would need him and Jasper to cross the boundry line to help convince Jenny to stay with them until the rogue was caught and dealt with.
"I'll see what we can do Jacob, but Jenny needs to be told about the idea first... Seth has told us about the... Dislike she has of Bella..."
"I know, I know... But I need her safe."
"And we'll do what we can to help. Text me when she wakes up and we'll be over as soon as we can."
"Thank you, Doc."
"Any time, Jacob."
Jake put his phone back up and looked to Jenny. She looked peaceful sleeping and hopefully she would be peaceful when he breaks his idea to her.
