They all walk in the library to see Roman chilling on one of the couches, reading a book, clearly invested as he doesn't seem to notice them enter.

"Hey Roman." Penelope greets Roman, causing him to look up from the book he's reading.

"Hey, where have you been?" Roman returns the greeting before asking where they've been, seeming curious.

"Hope's dorm. We found a trunk full of her uncle's books and this." Rebekah responds to the question, holding up the envelope which has Roman close his book and sit properly on the couch.

"Well, that sounds very intriguing. I would say it seems more intriguing than the book that I was reading but it's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. It's a classic and honestly, one of my favorites." Roman expresses his piqued interest in the envelope before revealing what he was reading and the fact the book is one of his favorites.

At that moment, a dark-haired woman walks into the library and sighs in relief when she sees Roman.

"Roman. Thank god." the girl sighs out Roman's name then rushes over and hugs him, which he reciprocates.

"Hey An. I said that you didn't have to fly all the way out here." Roman greets the woman as they hug and states that she didn't have to come to Mystic Falls.

"You know Elijah's ex-fiancee?" Marcel recognizes the woman as he refers to her as Elijah's ex once the hug between Roman and the woman ends.

"For those who don't know me, I'm Antoinette." Antoinette introduces herself with a small wave, making it clear that the introduction was for the people in the room who don't know her.

"Is she your wife?" Lizzie blatantly asks Roman if Antoinette is his wife, clearly confused by the unfolding scene before her.

"Lizzie, you can't just ask people if they're married." Josie berates Lizzie for her question but Lizzie just shrugs in response.

"Oh no, we're not married. She's my sister." Roman clarifies who Antoinette is, declining the suggestion of them being married.

Just then, the rest of the students who left to get some sleep re enter the library, looking more awake.

"You must be the person Roman called to help. I'm MG." MG immediately assumes that Antoinette is the one that Roman called to assist them then introduces himself.

"Antoinette. What help?" Antoinette reciprocates the introduction with a smile then turns her head to the side in order to look at Roman as she wonders what help they need and Roman smiles nervously to hide the fact he's annoyed with MG's words.

"That's why I was called in. Hope's missing An, so they called me here to help." Roman explains the situation as to why he's in Mystic Falls with a sheepish tone and Antoinette processes this information.

"Okay, where exactly have you gotten so far in the search?" Antoinette gives Roman a very significant look before questioning where they've gotten in the search for Hope.

Realizing the envelope will have to wait, Rebekah sets it on one of the tables and they all explain exactly what's going on along with how far they've gotten then adding the most recent discoveries that they made while the other students were asleep.

Once Antoinette and the absent members of the group are all caught up on the search so far, they turn their attention back to the envelope they found in the carved chest that resides in her closet.

Vincent cautiously opens it then looks inside to see nothing but a flash drive inside of it, so he pours it out into his hand to get a better look at it.

"An entire large envelope for just some bloody flash drive?" Rebekah seems mildly disappointed at what they've found as she frowns at the sight.

"Luckily, I've decided to keep one of our laptops in the library." Lizzie heads over to grab a laptop from her bag and holds it up for them to see after announcing that she kept one in the library.

Lizzie then heads over to one of the couches and sits on the floor so she can set up the computer as Josie joins her.

"Gather around the laptop. Jos, can you back up a bit?" Lizzie advises that they all gather around the computer then wonders if Josie can move back.

"I'm not even that close to you." Josie defends the fact that she isn't that close to her twin yet Lizzie scoffs.

"Really? Then how do I know that you had a quesadilla for lunch?" Lizzie retorts with a different question which has Josie look mildly embarrassed before she backs up slightly.

"Thank you." Lizzie thanks Josie for backing up a bit then holds her hand out Vincent, who gives her the flash drive then takes a seat next to Marcel.

"Alright, who can see the screen?" Josie immediately wonders who can actually see the computer before Lizzie can put the memory stick in the laptop.

"If it were bigger, I'd be able to." Landon is the first to respond to the question with a few others nodding in agreement to his words.

So, Josie places her hand in front of the screen and mutters a spell under breath which has the screen get larger while the keyboard is the same size.

"Better?" Josie looks around the group to see if it's better for them and they all nod.

"Wouldn't it have been easier to plug this into a TV then hook a computer keyboard to it?" MG asks a question, wondering if it would have been easier to just use a TV.

"We don't have a TV in the library, MG." Lizzie scolds MG for his question, reminding him that the library doesn't have television in it before placing the flash drive into the laptop.

They see Lizzie click on the icon that symbolizes the flash drive is recognized and she clicks on it which opens to reveal a folder labelled 'vids'.

Clearly curious, Lizzie clicks on the folder to enter it, only for it to show various videos within the file.

"Just start with the first one and go from there?" Josie suggests in a questioning tone that they start with the first video then decide from there and they all either shrug or nod in agreement, which has Lizzie click on to play the first video.

It doesn't take long for Hope to appear on the screen, looking a lot younger.

"Hey world. I'm Hope and guess what my dad just bought me two days ago?" Hope gets silent as she looks at the camera expectantly.

"If your guess was a video camera, you were right. Sorry, I've been watching Dora the Explorer because I've never heard of it. Apparently, Auntie Bekah likes the show." Hope gets sheepish as she apologizes to the camera, revealing that Rebekah likes Dora the Explorer.

"Hope, are you talking to yourself?" Hayley's voice comes from offscreen before she appears.

"No, I'm talking to the world. World, this is my mom. Mom, say hi to the world." Hope denies talking to herself then introduces her to 'the world' and Hayley's face is on the screen now.

"Hi, world." Hayley waves at the screen with a smile and Hope hugs her.

Just then, Lizzie pauses the video.

"That's mildly out of my comfort zone." Lizzie shows her disinterest in Hope's childhood but Josie nudges her with an elbow.

"Just play it." Josie demands that Lizzie simply play video which causes the blonde to reluctantly do so.

"Hey, let's see if dad wants to greet the world." Hope ponders on if Klaus wants to say hi then rushes off to go find him with Hayley next to her.

"Dad." Hope whispers the word dad as they rush to find him.

"Klaus." Hayley says his actual name while whispering before they're outside of a door.

"Dad?" Hope knocks on it, asking for her dad but there's no answer.

"Hmm, must have the wrong room." Hope assumes they have the wrong room yet Hayley knocks on the door this time, a bit louder than Hope.

"What?" Elijah opens the door, looking confused by the visit.

"Uncle 'Lijah, you want to say hi to the world?" Hope holds the camera up for him to see and he simply smiles at the camera.

"Hi world, bye world." Elijah does a simple wave in order to say hello and goodbye then he attempts to close the door but Hayley stops him.

"Have you seen Klaus?" Hayley questions if Elijah's seen Klaus but he just shrugs and closes the door.

"Hmm. let's ask uncle Kol." Hope suggests they talk to Kol then her and Hayley go to find Kol, only to see Freya and Rebekah sitting on the couch, having a conversation.

"Hi aunts. Say hi to the world." Hope greets her aunts, interrupting them and tells them to say hi to the camera.

"Hi, world." Freya and Rebekah both smile as they simultaneously greet the world as they wave at the camera.

"Have either of you seen Klaus?" Hayley asks if either of them have seen Klaus which Freya nods in agreement to.

"Yep, he's hanging out with Kol outside." Freya tells them that Klaus is outside with Kol causing Hope and Hayley to rush outside with Rebekah and Freya following them.

Once they're outside, they see Kol and Klaus having a conversation but the camera isn't able to pick up what they're talking about.

"What are they saying?" Hope looks up at her mother to see if she knows what they're talking about but Hayley just shrugs.

"I don't know and I'm not listening in." Hayley simply states that she doesn't know and quickly adds that she isn't listening into the conversation.

So Hope tucks a lock hair behind her ear to try and see if she can listen in, making it very clear that she's trying to listen.

"Nope, can't hear anything." Hope points out the obvious that she can't hear what they're saying, not noticing that Kol and Klaus are now looking at the camera.

"Can we help you girls?" Kol has gotten up from the table he and Klaus were sitting at to approach them.

"Whoa, hold up. That's her father?" Lizzie has paused the video yet again to comment on Hope's father and Josie squints at the screen.

"Which one?" Josie tries to see which one is Hope's father as neither of them really remember him.

"That one." Lizzie points to Kol on the screen, saying that he's Hope's father but Kol speaks up.

"Actually, I'm her uncle." Kol corrects them by stating that he's Hope's uncle, not her father.

"What? You're not her father?" Josie seems stunned by this announcement and he simply nods at this.

"Well, that's very eye-opening." Rafael sighs out that the announcement is shocking, implying that he thought Kol was Hope's father as well.

"Wait, how many of you actually thought I was Hope's father?" Kol looks around the room and a majority of the room, minus his family, Landon, Roman, Alaric, and Antoinette, raise their hands, even Emma and Dorian have their hands raised.

"Landon, why didn't you raise your hand?" Lizzie looks at Landon in a confused way, clearly shocked he didn't raise his hand and Landon just shrugs in response.

"She told me that her father's name was Klaus, he said his was Kol. Now unless his name is Nickolas where he sometimes goes by Kol and other times by Klaus, I just kind of figured that they were two different people. I mean, not to mention we all know that her father's dead, he isn't." Landon gives an explanation as to why he didn't raise his hand like everyone else with another shrug, reminding them Klaus is dead, whereas Kol's not.

"How would that work? Can you even get Kol and Klaus from Nicholas?" Rebekah is confused as she tries to figure out how the name can give the two nicknames.

"If you spell i S, then yeah, you can get both Kol and Klaus from it. ." Landon spells out an alternate way of the name Nicholas and agrees that you can get both names from it, then adds the fact you can have a third nickname as well.

"Like, he's not wrong." Davina is the first to speak up after they all stare at him in shock for a moment.

"Okay, play the video again." Josie turns their attention back to the computer and Lizzie plays the video once more.

"You guys want to say hi to the world?" Hope shows them the camera as she asks if they would like to say hi to the world.

"Now did you put that camera together all by yourself?" Kol seems impressed that Hope has figured out how to use the video camera so quickly and Hope nods in agreement.

"Yep. Hi dad." Hope greets her dad after she agrees to putting the camera together on her own.

"Where's Elijah?" Klaus looks around the area, not seeing Elijah.

"Back in the house. I think he's in a mood." Hayley tells Klaus where Elijah is and he just nods in understanding of her words.

"What were you boys talking about?" Freya wonders what Klaus and Kol were talking about, which has them briefly exchange glances before looking back at her.

"Uh, you know, boring guy stuff." Kol gives an answer in a tone that makes it obvious he doesn't want to actually answer the question.

"Yeah, like sports and stuff." Klaus adds to Kol's answer in the same tone that Kol had with a simple nod.

Hayley, Rebekah, and Freya don't seem to be buying the answer but none of them push matters.

"I'm gonna go film in the garden. Who wants to come with?" Hope looks at her family members expectantly, clearly wanting one of them to join her.

"Alright, I'll tag along." Klaus agrees to join her after the camera picks up Hayley giving him a seemingly significant look.

"Yay." Hope expresses her happiness as she grabs her dad's hand in order to drag him to the garden but then the camera shuts off, marking the end of that video.

"Do we have to watch the next one? These are making me mildly uncomfortable." Lizzie complains about the videos, wondering if they have to watch the next one as they're giving her discomfort while watching them.

"It was only one video. If you don't want to watch them then just leave and I will be in charge of the videos." Josie seems to have had enough of Lizzie's behavior towards Hope's home videos as she sounds annoyed when telling her twin to leave if she doesn't want to watch them.

These words seem to have gotten through to Lizzie as she sighs heavily before clicking on the second video.

The second video plays and Hope still looks like a child yet it doesn't seem like she's in the same place as the previous video.

"Hi world, again. I just found this buried in one of the drawers of my dresser. Um, I am currently ten and it's August and ridiculously hot in New Orleans, which is where I live now." Hope starts off the video with an introduction then explains where she found the camera before giving her current age and the month, along with where she is.

"If you have noticed my outfit…" Hope starts then stands and does a little twirl, so they can see what she's wearing, which is all black.

"I'm wearing black. If you're wondering why, uh, I have just got back from my grandma's funeral. My mom's not home yet, she's consoling all of the people in the bayou. Um, it's been a few months since my dad has contacted me. Not that it's a problem, I mean, I get it. You know, he's busy with his travels and what not but I just never thought that he'd be cutting his own family from his life." Hope explains why she's wearing all black before she starts talking about her father.

"Speaking of my dad, there's a chance that he will see this video one day. So, I am very proud to admit that I've been working on my sketching more than my painting and I want my dad to eventually see my new works. But since he isn't here, I'll show the camera so when dad does find this, he'll see them too." Hope backs away from the sad topic while talking about her father and explains that the video is to show her new sketches on the off chance that Klaus might see it.

Hope then walks off camera before coming back with a book in her hands.

"This is my sketchbook. It's my first ever sketchbook, too. My mom bought it for me so I would stop drawing on the walls. Um, let's see. No, my dad's already seen that one and that one." Hope skims her sketchbook, muttering under her breath of which ones her dad has already seen after she makes it very clear that what she is holding is her first ever sketchbook that her mother had bought her.

"Aha! The first newest sketch is… the mocking monkey. See, it has a banana in it's hand while mocking you." Hope shows the camera the drawing of a monkey, standing on a branch with its thumbs on both sides of its head, one hand being open while the other hand is holding a banana and sticking its tongue out at whoever looks at the page.

"Ta-da. If you think this monkey's mocking you, then you're right because it's a mocking monkey." Hope smiles happily at the camera as she continues showing the page before turning it to face her again.

"And the next one is… a circus elephant." Hope turns the sketchbook back towards the camera to reveal the circus elephant that she drew.

"If you can see, the elephant is holding a stick with its trunk and the stick is balancing a plate on it. Not to mention the totally far out bling it's wearing, like this elephant knows how to dress." Hope points out that the elephant is plate balancing with its trunk then makes the comment that the elephant dresses nice.

"Lastly, and yes, this is, unfortunately, the last one. I only have three new sketches but I will hopefully have more to show in the future." Hope sadly admits that she only has three new drawings to reveal yet prays that she'll eventually have more.

"So lastly, we have a studious giraffe." Hope shows them camera the sketchbook again after she had it face her and had flipped the page.

"She's wearing a scarf, some fake glasses, with a cup of tea next her while she reads a book." Hope explains what's going on in the drawing, pointing to each thing she says as she refers to the giraffe as a female.

"Um, that's it. When I use this camera next time, I will have, well I'm praying that I will have drawings of my family members as animals. I'm thinking of making my mom a bear or something, I don't know but I'll figure it out." Hope informs the camera that she will eventually have sketches of her family as different animals then turns off the camera, concluding the video.

Lizzie just clicks on the third video, without needing any form of encouragement, and Hope looks like she does now.

"Hey, what up, it's yo girl, uh, very single. Yeah… that was a crappy introduction." Hope greets the camera in the dorkiest way before putting her down in shame as she realizes that the greeting was crappy.

"Anyway, sup sluts. Guess who's back? Back in NOLA, shady's back, tell her fam. Well, actually my family already knows I'm in NOLA but you get the idea." Hope continues to act like a dork as she parodies an Eminem song before realizing that her family already knows that she's back in New Orleans.

None of the people watching the video can help chuckling at her dorkiness, although Jed looks surprised.

"Um, I'm thirteen, going to be fourteen this upcoming May. You probably can't tell where I am, so I'll give you a quick scope of the room I'm in." Hope reveals to the camera that she is currently thirteen then gives the camera a quick skim of the room she's currently in, her family immediately recognizing the room, before turning the camera back to face her.

Josie pauses the video this time so she can squint at the screen, having clearly seen something that the others don't.

"What is it?" Lizzie seems to just know that Josie has seen something as she asks what Josie's looking for.

"Is it just me or is she wearing the same jacket that she had in her accident?" Josie points to the leather jacket that Hope's wearing in the video, believing that it's the same one that they found in the car accident, as she wonders if she's the only one who thinks that it's the same jacket.

"No, that's the same jacket." Marcel eases Josie's fears by saying that she isn't the only one who thinks it and confirms that it's the same jacket that's lying on one of the library tables.

"This is unbelievable." Jed speaks randomly, which has the room look at him in utter confusion.

"What is?" Penelope is the first to ask what's unbelievable for Jed, stealing the question from everyone else.

"This is the girl who has gotten the reputation of school bad-ass, along with being one of Dr. Saltzman's right-hand men. But seeing this video, she's just… and in the least rude way possible, she's just a dork." Jed voices his opinion on what's unbelievable to him, stating that despite the reputation that she's earned, she is simply a dork.

The people of the school remain silent for a moment, seemingly knowing that Jed has a point before Lizzie plays the video again.

"So yeah, now that you've seen the room, if anyone I know is watching this then you probably recognized it. I'm currently residing in my dad's bedroom, which means that this is not going to be a sketch update video because I don't have my sketchbook with me. Um crap, I just pointed out the possibility that someone I know might see this. My family might see this, oh well." Hope informs the camera that she's in her father's room then emphasizes the word 'not' when she realizes she can't show her new sketches before coming to the realization that her family could see the video.

"Not really sure what else to say, um…" Hope trails off, trying to figure out what else to say after realizing that she isn't sure what else can be said.

"Ooh, I just called aunt Bekah yesterday. I updated her on what's been going on and the fact that there might be this boy." Hope decides to add that she called Rebekah, saying that she updated her and immediately starts blushing when she brings up a boy.

"Oh god, I can't even talk about him without getting flushed. Um, my mother doesn't know about the boy. Gah, I'm blushing again." Hope giggles at the fact that she can't even talk about a certain boy then states that her mother doesn't know about him before giggling at the fact that she's blushing again.

"He he, um anyway, pushing the boy factor aside because I clearly can't handle talking about him, I just… mentioning him alone gets me blushing and stuff. I'm not even saying his name, I just reference him as a boy and I get this." Hope motions to her face which is blushing again after she finishes giggling in order to no longer talk about the boy that she seems to have an obvious crush on, yet fails.

"I mean, it's just a crush, eventually I'll get over it, you know. It's not like he knows I exist or anything. It isn't like he's someone I stare and when he's gone, it ruins my day, kind of mushy stuff." Hope looks at the ground awkwardly after the reveal of her belief that the crush isn't going anywhere and the revelation that her crush is someone she stares at constantly yet feels her day is ruined when they aren't present.

"Does anyone know if it's normal to have a crush on someone for nearly a year? Hmm, I wonder if my mom's had a crush on anyone for nearly a year. I'd ask her but then that means that I would have to tell her about my crush and I don't know, involving a parent in any situation just feels like you can't handle it. I can handle my crush. I mean, it's not like I recite poetry and mushy compliments in my head before I just end up greeting them with a 'sup loser' or anything like that." Hope asks aloud if anyone knows if it's normal to have a crush for nearly a year before wondering if her mother has experienced a crush for almost an entire year then awkwardly stares down at the ground again after making a different confession.

"I could always ask Penelope if it's normal. She knows about my crush and she isn't an adult, seeing as how we're the same age, so it wouldn't feel like I'm going to an outside, mature, adult for help with it." Hope concludes she could talk to Penelope about if her crush is normal then scrunches her face up, seeming to have come to a conclusion.

"Nah, she'll probably just tell me it isn't a crush anymore and that I'm simply in love with him. I mean, sure I have strong feelings for him and when he smiles, I smile. And I'm not going to lie that I enjoy hearing him tell people off with curse words or when he acts like a proper gentleman in defending women. But am I in love…" Hope giggles as she starts to question if she's in love then just stops talking, trailing off, after making several points about her feelings for her crush, clearly coming to a new revelation.

"Oh my god, I'm in love with him." Hope sighs out in realization that she is, in fact, in love with her crush, him no longer being a crush.

"That is the worst thing I could've ever concluded. I mean, I no longer need help with my crush anymore, but I've fallen in love with someone. Okay, that's something I need to tell my mother about. A crush I can handle, actual emotions on the other hand… I should tell someone that. Maybe my aunt Freya or uncle Kol. Well, my uncle Kol's married, I'm sure he can give me advice, even if he just simply uses a bucket of ice water and yells at me to get over it. I'm actually in love with someone, this is terrible. Especially since he most definitely doesn't feel the same." Hope determines that what she's just realized is the worst thing she could ever conclude and ends with the assumption that the guy doesn't feel the same.

"Gah, you know what, I will just have to ambush myself with a bucket of ice water and yell in a mirror to get over it. Mainly because I forgot that I can't interact with my uncle in person." Hope adds that she forgot that she can't interact with Kol in person once she realizes that she'll have to ambush herself with a bucket of ice water.

"If you'll excuse me, I have to invest in a large bucket and fill it with water. Stay tuned as I involve myself in that ice bucket challenge." Hope blocks the camera with her hand yet it doesn't turn off the footage and the next time you see Hope, she's outside.

"Okay, so it's a lot windier out here than I thought. I'm currently in the backyard so mom won't get pissed that I just dumped ice water all over the courtyard or in the house. If someone is watching this, you probably can't hear me that great, which is why I'm yelling. It's so freaking windy out here, I should've waited until it died down a bit because this is going to suck but whatever." Hope explains to the camera that it's very windy, which is obvious by the trees blowing hard around her and the fact that she's yelling at the camera since she can't speak normally in the wind.

"I've got a bucket of ice water. Well, it's more of ice with a side of water but yeah, let's do this. If anyone's watching this, pay attention because this is how you handle feelings. I know, you're probably thinking like, whoa this girl's a total genius and I'll be like, you're welcome for gracing you with my geniusness." Hope continues to act ridiculously dorky as she yells at the camera due to the severe wind she's in.

"Alright, I'm going to do this." Hope picks up a large, purple bucket after confirming that she's going to actually drop the bucket on her.

Despite not having the strength that comes from a triggered werewolf, Hope is able to lift the no-doubt heavy bucket above her head and just dump all of the contents on her, which causes her to shriek.

"Ah, ah! Cold! That shit's so cold!" Hope tosses the bucket to the side while cursing as she shrieks about how cold the water is along with the wind.

"Get over yourself! Whatever feelings you have aren't real!" Hope yells at herself after she slaps her own face then uses her hands to slap both of her cheeks.

"Just get over yourself!" Hope yells at herself again in between slapping her cheeks with both of her hands.

The camera cuts to Hope now in the courtyard, her hair soaked, water dripping down her face, and soaked clothes yet has a smile on her face.

"Good news, it worked. I am, in fact, an actual genius. All feelings, both emotional and physical, are completely gone. So thank you for staying with me and you will see me the next time I dig this camera out." Hope blows a kiss into the camera after admitting that her tactic actually worked then turns off the camera, ending the video.

The entire room is silent, reeling from the shock of what they just saw and the room just remains silent for a moment until Roman decides to talk.

"I didn't know she had a crush on someone at school. We were friends, so it doesn't make sense that she wouldn't tell me." Roman speaks up, saying that he was unaware that Hope had a crush on someone and that it makes no sense that she didn't tell him due to their friendship.

"Why didn't you tell me, Penelope? We're friends too." Roman wonders why Penelope hadn't told him, revealing that they're friends as well.

"Hope asked me not to because she thought it would make your guys' friendship weird. So, I kept my mouth shut." Penelope lies to Roman but only Josie and Hope's family can tell that she did yet they don't say anything.

"Hmm, well there are a lot of guys on campus. So, you know it could've been anyone. I wonder if I knew them." Roman deduces that the guy Hope had a crush on could have been anyone at school then mutters under his breath if he knew the person Hope had a crush on.

Penelope and Freya just stare at the rest of them as though they're a camera like the Office, the stares seeming to subtly hint at the fact that Roman's the guy Hope was talking about.

"Yeah, I'm sure it could have been anyone." Freya simply agrees with Roman despite the fact that she's the only one, outside of Penelope, who knew he was the guy Hope had a crush on.

"Okay, since none of these videos seem to be helping us, we'll watch one more then go back to research." Lizzie turns the topic back to the videos and the fact they aren't really helping in the search for Hope, stating that they'll watch one more before quitting.

Lizzie closes the screen of the recent video then clicks on another one yet she doesn't play the one immediately after the one they just watched.

Hope appears on the screen again, looking the same as the previous video, and she's in an unknown area with an angry facial expression that mildly intimidates the people watching the video.

Hope is sitting on a chair with crossed legs, crossed arms, and she's utterly silent as she keeps glaring at the camera, clearly pissed with something.

"Sorry if I'm more silent than usual in this video. I am marinating in my rage." Hope's tone is very bitter as she apologizes to the camera and explains what she's doing.

Hope literally shakes her head, as though she's shaking something off of her.

"Hey mom and dad. Now I know I told you that I would do these video diaries once a month but I got sidetracked for the past few months, so bare with me. I don't have a lot on the update status as I've written most of it down yet this doesn't mean that I don't have any news. I've finally finished my resurrection spell so there will eventually be no more of these. I just need to find an anchor and I'll be able to complete the spell without being tempted by dark magic." Hope greets the camera as though she's talking to her parents, revealing that this is one part of a video diaries series she started and confirms MG's words about needing an anchor to ensure that she doesn't get tempted by dark magic.

"There is bad news, however. The reason that I've been sidetracked, well for the past few months, is because I've had no motivation to film. The reason that I was angry a few moments ago is because of a guy." Hope states that there's bad news then begins to talk about why she was angry, bringing up a guy as the reason.

"I'm going to be honest, out of every supernatural being that could've been awakened, it just had to be a werewolf who has an absolutely ordinary, not-at-all special dickwad of a brother…" Hope trails off as she stands to her feet after voicing part of her honesty, which makes the students of the school mildly uncomfortable.

"Who is a thief and a liar. Not to mention a mass murderer who had killed twenty-seven innocent people on a bus and was nowhere in sight. So when this video is done, I am going to go help Dr. Saltzman search for this jerk. Just when I thought Landon was a good enough guy to let my guard down, he betrays me and the entire school." Hope is now pacing around the area, that no one really recognizes, as she talks about Landon and her anger towards him.

"He stole an ancient knife relic of unknown origin then incinerated an entire bus full of people. Now I'm not sure which one of you I get it from, but I'm not big on the whole forgiveness thing, especially when they're someone who betrays and double-crosses me. That knife might be something special though. When I did a locator spell on Landon, it seemed the knife had magic of sorts. It's an inconclusive theory on if the knife actually does have any kind of magic but if it does, then it might make a good anchor for my spell. The only way to confirm that theory means I have to track Landon Kirby down to get that knife. Whether or not I have to pry it from his cold, dead hands is dependent on how he handles my well-tended to rage." Hope mutters what he did under her breath then she expresses her uncertainty in her personality before taking an interest in the knife, having reached a conclusion that the knife might, in fact, possess magic and believes that it could be her anchor.

Before Hope can say anything else, her phone buzzes so she takes it out of her pocket to see who's contacting her.

"Oh shit, it's a message from Mr. Williams. 'When you can, please head to Emma's office effective immediately.' Dammit. Well, I guess I'll just end this now. My apologies if I had burdened you guys too much with my rage towards a guy, I needed to vent it. You will return and most likely watch these video diaries, which is the plan and why I started this to begin with. I want you to know what I've been up to for the past two years so when you come back, you can read my journals and watch this video diaries series and feel like you didn't miss a thing.
