Chapter 8: Revolta's Final Battle

And so, here he was.

Danny Phantom, the ghost boy and reluctant love of a vampire and another ghost, was here to handle this evil witch.

I can't say this is the craziest thing I've ever done… He thought as he got ready.

He braced himself for whatever this ugly witch has in store.

Revolta rose her wand up, ready to cast a spell.

"You have no idea how long I waited to get those ghoul girls in my clutches! With them, their fathers would have no way of standing up to me and the monster world would be mine to conquer!" She shouted.

"Uh… how do I say this? Not happening!" Danny shouted.

"What do you care?! You are a human with freakish powers!" Revolta shouted.

"I care because those ghoul girls are my friends!" Danny shouted before muttering to himself. "Even if one's a ghost with no idea on personal boundaries and the other is a vampire I'm still on the fence on how I feel around her…"

"Well, your "friends" will return to my side… once I deal with you!" Revolta shouted.

With that, she fired her wand's magic.

Uh oh. Danny thought fast and dodged it.

The evil spider witch growled.

Revolta, with a wave of her wand, created a large hand from the yellow smoke of her cauldron and sent it hurdling at Danny in the shape of a fist.

With a charge in his hand, Danny threw a punch.

Once both fists collide, Revolta's smoky construct faded.

The ghost boy smirked at this.

"Got any more tricks up one of your four sleeves?" Danny taunted.

"As a matter of fact…" Revolta raised her wand.

"What is she doing?" He asked.

Danny's eyes widened when the hideous witch began a new spell.

"Behold, my slime bubble spell!" Revolta said as she aimed and fired, creating a green gelatinous bubble around Danny..

"Oh no!" Danny yelled as he tried to get away.

He was trapped before he could get away in time as the slime bubble covered him completely.

Danny tried to get out, but the viscosity wouldn't let him, it was like swimming in place.

He was trying hard as Revolta cackled.

"Fool! You cannot get out! That slime will keep you in until you pass out!"

As Danny tried to climb out, he had an idea.

Maybe if this wasn't slime…

He then closed his eyes and created a blue light from his body.

Revolta stopped laughing as she saw the slime turning solid.

"WHAT?!"

In that instant, Danny broke the ice into pieces.

Revolta watched in horror as the ice fell to the floor.

"Shattered your expectations, didn't I?" Danny mused playfully.

Revolta snarled as Danny overcame her spell with ease.

There must be some way of dealing with this ghost boy! She thought before it dawned on her. Ghost? Yes… that's it. I was saving it for the Phantom… but this is a good enough reason.

As Revolta was about to make her move, Danny flew at her.

"Gotta hand it to ya, you're persistent!" He said once he arrived closer and chuckled. "Get it, hand?"

Revolta scowled at him before she fired her wand again.

"Prepare yourself, boy!" She shouted.

Danny dodged as the beam hit a gargoyle statue.

"Ha! Missed!" He went.

"Wasn't aiming at you…" She said as he laughed evilly and pointed to the statue.

To Danny's surprise, the statue came to life and snarled at him as it stood straight.

It then grappled with Danny as he tried to overpower it.

"Can't… get intangible!" He said.

"You can't phase through this one, boy! I made this spell especially for another ghost I'd have to deal with!" Revolta said as she cackled.

"Too bad for you… I'm stronger than you think!"

With that, Danny lifted his legs and kicked the gargoyle with enough force to push it away, breaking off one of its hands, which fell to the floor and broke apart.

Revolta gasped in horror and rage.

"What?! NO!"

''YES!" Danny said, pleased that things are once again in his favor.

That's when the Grim Creeper came slinking in, still hurt.

"Revolta? Have you-" He saw Danny fighting with the gargoyle and shrieked. "HE'S STILL HERE?!"

"Not for long…" Revolta said. "Creeper… I need you to get something for me."

She then whispered something to her minion.

Outside, the girls and their teacher are out of the castle and wait for their hero.

However, there is no sign Danny is back.

The ghouls were starting to get worried.

Even their teacher was looking terrified for his fate.

"Is he… okay?" Tanis asked.

''I don't know... " Her vampire friend said.

Sibella was about to go, but stopped when she saw everyone still watching.

I can't stay here… I must help him… somehow… She thought.

She was not the only one it seems

"Shouldn't we do something?" Phantasma asked, dreading for her hero's fate.

"I'm afraid there is nothing we can do…" Ms Grimwood said.

''But Miss Grimwood!" Sibella and Phanty both said.

"Aroo! He's probably in trouble right now!" Winnie went.'

"What can we do? Just go?" Elsa asked.

She did not get the response she wanted.

"I'm afraid that's all we can do…" Ms. Grimwood said. "In any case, we'll have to make distance between us and the castle. In any case, we'll have to go, girls. Sibella, take to the skies, see if-" Once she looked to where Sibella was, she saw the vampire girl was gone. "Sibella?"

Everyone looked around, seeing her gone.

"Where'd she go?!" Winnie went.

"Did she go back?" Elsa asked.

"She's not here, so maybe…" Tanis said.

Meanwhile

A certain hero was still fighting a certain witch..

Danny punches the gargoyle's head, shattering it.

"Headshot!" He quipped.

Revolta only snarled.

"I just need one moment for that useless potato to get what I need…" Revolta said

With one last ghost ray, Danny destroys the creature, reducing it to rubble.

"Guess that leaves you all broken up, huh?" Danny said with a cocky grin and his arms crossed. Revolta only scowled. "See, because I broke up the gargoyle statue you brought to life?"

"I get it! It just wasn't funny…" She shouted.

Danny rolled his eyes.

"Yeah… you're definitely a wicked witch…" Danny jabbed.

''Once again, flattery will get you nowhere..." Revolta said.

The two were about to continue, where a certain minion came back.

"I'm back, Revolta!" Creeper shouted.

Before Danny could do anything, he felt something.

It was pain.

He hissed as he landed, his knees hitting the floor and he curled up.

"W-What's going on?!" He asked.

He heard snide laughter.

It was Creeper, looking very smug now.

"Behold!" The Grim Creeper held up flowers in one vine.

It took Danny to recognize them in the state he's in.

"Blood Blossoms?" He managed to ask.

"Ah, so you've heard of them. I was saving them in case Phantasma's father decided to try and rescue them… but I had a feeling it would work on you." Revolta said.

The ghost boy knew that he was in trouble now.

"Gotta… get out of here…" Danny said through the pain.

"I think not! Creeper! Crush him!" Revolta ordered.

"With pleasure! Payback for what you did!" Grim Creeper shouted.

His vines grabbed Danny and began squeezing as hard as he could.

Danny found it hard to think as he was being squeezed by the vine.

Can't break free… too weak to go intangible. He thought.

"This is the fate of those who dare to cross Revolta!" Revolta laughed as her minion started squeezing Danny with sadistic glee.

That's when a purple bat landed in the room and turned into a vampire.

"GET AWAY FROM HIM!" Sibella shouted before her eyes turned red.

''S-Sibella." Danny said weakly.

"YOU?!" Revolta exclaimed.

Sibella frowned and rose her arms..

From out of nowhere, a swarm of bats were summoned.

All them flying towards Revolta and the Grim Creeper, blocking their view and making them cover their eyes for protection.

Once the swarm was gone, the Grim Creeper panicked once he saw something no longer in his vine.

"The Blood Blossoms!" He shouted.

"Don't touch him!" Sibella said as she turned to her hero.

Despite his strength weakened, Danny fired a ghost ray at the Grim Creeper, making him drop the ghost boy and fall back.

Danny hit the floor, trying to get up.

"Okay… I feel my power coming back…"

"My eye!" The minion yelled.

Before the Grim Creeper could attack the weakened Danny, a swarm of bats surrounded the potato and lifted him up.

Before he could question this, he was thrusted into the ceiling several times.

Danny, now sitting up, could only stare with a slack jaw at this before seeing it was Sibella, who was at his side, directing her bats with her hand.

She had an angry look with bright red eyes.

"You hurt Danny!." She said in a furious tone.

Once the Grim Creeper landed on the floor, getting up groaning in pain, he was too late as a purple fist went flying into this one eye, knocking him out.

It was Sibella, looking violently protective as she soothed her knuckles for punching him.

Once she turned around and saw Danny was starting, her eyes returned to normal and looked shameful of how she acted.

Did… did she just pummel the guy for me? He thought.

"Oh dear… I came to see how you're doing and… I didn't mean to act the way I did. I'm sorry if that scared you…" She said.

The ghost boy was silent

Danny just stared wide-eyed at what Sibella did. He couldn't believe it, but it happened.

It made a pink flash happen in his eyes before he smiled at her.

Once she saw the smile on his face, Sibella smiled back and looked flushed.

The moment was cut short as Revolta shook her fists in anger.

"You'll both pay for this! You will be mine to command, daughter of Dracula! Your boyfriend will be destroyed!"

That got both of them to look to her, both looking embarrassed.

"We're not a couple!" They went.

"Not for long!" She shouted. The evil witch began her spell. "You two will not have time to go on a date."She said cruelly.

Revolta placed all her hands together as she muttered some kind of incantation.

"Uh, what's she doing?" Danny asked.

"Whatever it is, we must stop her!" Sibella insisted.

They were too late as Revolta fired a beam with her wand.

"Now! Destroy the boy, but the girl lives! For now!" She shouted.

Her wand glowed brighter as the spell took effect.

A green swirl on the floor opened up to reveal something long coming out.

Something was pulling out.

It took Danny a moment to recognize what this was.

"A ghost portal?" Danny asked.

What happened next confirmed it.

It came out. It was a large, green spider that snarled at them.

"GO!" Revolta shouted, pointing at Danny.

''Of course..." The boy snarked.

"You can stop that thing, right?" Sibella asked him.

"I don't have my Fenton Thermos, so I can't catch it…" He responded.

Danny fired his ghost rays, but the spider used its two front legs to create a web-like ghost portal that blocked the blasts.

No good, it can block my blasts.

Gritting his teeth, Danny looked to Sibella.

"Get out of here, Sibella." He ordered.

"Not without you!" She shouted.

"Look, forget the zing thing! Just go, save yourself!" Danny insisted.

Sibella shook her head and looked to him seriously.

"No! I can't!" She insisted.

Revolta only scoffed.

I'm sure you two will have time to be happy together… if he survives his body fluids being sucked out! Spider! Go!" She ordered.

''Crazy witch..." Danny said as he dodged her spider minion's attacks.

''Ha! You can't avoid for long!" Revolta laughed as she watched this, relishing it.

Danny fired his ice blasts, but the spider spat out web balls that collided with the blasts, freezing them instead.

This frustrated the ghost kid.

"No good…" Danny said. "If I use my Ghostly Wail it could work, but then Revolta would get us after that…"

He would use it as a last resort right now, but it would leave him and Sibella defenseless.

Danny then took Sibella in bridal fashion and carried her while flying to the opening.

The spider fired a web to block the way.

Thinking fast, Danny tried to head to the wall to phase out, but Revolta was faster.

"I don't think so!" She fired at the wall with her wand.

As Danny shook his head, he stared at the wall a moment. He tried phasing his leg through, but found the wall wouldn't let him.

"I think her spell is keeping you from passing through the wall." Sibella said with growing worry.

"Not just that wall!" Revolta shouted with an evil smile. "All the walls and the floor will be ghost-proof for the next 5 minutes, which is 4 more than I'll need. Now, Spider! Dinner time!"

The two teens looked nervous now.

"I'm open to suggestions, Sibella…" Danny said.

The vampire girl pondered.

There has got to be something… She thought.

That's when the idea hit her.

"I have an idea… but… you need to trust me." Sibella said.

Danny nodded.

"Okay."

For a moment, she felt elated to hear he trusts her before remembering what she needs to do.

"Keep that thing busy while I try." She said.

"Can do." Danny said as he flew to the spider.

The creature roared as it tried to attack again.

Danny tried punching the creature, but it blocked his fists with its front legs.

"Ha! Fool!" Revolta scoffed. "It is time to-" That's when she heard it. "What?"

She turned around and gasped.

On the floor, she saw a certain purple bat with something.

It was an old blade from Revolta's shelf which she uses to carve ingredients. And she was sawing the floor around the spider with it.

''What?! No!" She yelled.

Sibella turned back to her vampire state.

"Danny can't go through the floor… but I bet a blade can!"

Revolta saw Sibella made a nearly perfect circle around the giant spider and gasped.

"Oh no…"

"Danny! Can you make a big chunk of ice above that thing?" Sibella asked.

"You bat!" Danny said with a wink, earning a laugh from Sibella. "Here we go!"

The boy's eyes glowed as he summoned a bunch of ice in his hands.

The chunk of ice was heavy, more than enough that the added weight caused the hole that Sibella was making to break open.

''Take this!" He yelled as he threw it.

The spider hit the floor, the giant ice chunk crushing and knocking it out.

Revolta gasped in horror

"My spider!" She shouted.

Once she was distracted, Danny flew in a straight path right in her direction.

She was too late to notice a gloved fist.

BAM!

Revolta was sent straight into the wall of her castle, dropping her wand in the process.

Sibella grinned at the sight.

Once Revolta slid down the wall, her eyes opened and she noticed something not in her hand.

"Looking for this?" Danny pointed to the wand, which he fired a ghost ray at before Revolta could get to it, burning it to ashes. "I'm betting you can't cause much trouble without it."

Revolta looked horrified.

"NNOOOOOO!" She bellowed.

"Guess I won that bet." Danny said.

Revolta got on her knees, the hands of her upper arms going through her hair as she was looking more and more terrified.

"What do I do? WHAT DO I DO?!" She questioned.

"I got an idea!" Danny said as he flew in and grabbed her by one wrist and flew to the ceiling, phasing through the walls and going stories into the sky. "Huh, I guess the spell broke when your wand was destroyed…" He said in relief before glaring at the evil witch. "Here's what you're gonna do, Web Woman. You're going to leave those girl ghouls alone from now on."

"Ha! You have no power over me! Heroes aren't the type to finish the job!" Revolta stated.

She called my bluff… better bluff back.

"Suit yourself." He said as he let go.

Realizing what just happened too late, Revolta could only gasp before she gave a quick scream. One that ended fast when she felt Danny grab another of her wrists.

Panting a bit, she laughed.

"Ha! See?! I knew you wouldn't-"

She didn't get to finish as Danny let go again. She fell

Falling once more, Revolta screamed again before Danny flew in and grabbed her by one of her arms.

"Strike two, care for three?" Danny asked. "Otherwise… stay away from those girls!"

Not wanting to go through that experience again, Revolta caved in.

"Okay! Okay! I'll leave them alone!" She said.

With that, Danny flew towards the ground, dropping Revolta there.

After hitting the ground, the witch of the web panted as she got on all six and sounded relieved that was over.

"Just one more thing…" Danny said. He aimed with his finger and fired ice blasts at Revolta's hands, freezing them in ice. Seeing this, she tried to struggle to get them out. "Don't worry, it'll melt in an hour, which is more time than I need to make sure you keep your promise."

With that, Danny flew towards her castle, phasing through the wall.

What happened next Revolta could only hear. The sounds of crashing, breaking and smashing. She gasped.

"My castle!" There was a flash of green in the room she kept her spellbooks. "My private study!"

"Where is Revo- OUCH!" The Grim Creeper was heard shouting before being silenced.

"My Creeper!" She shouted before rethinking that. "Actually, that one I can live without…"

Once the sounds were all done, Danny Phantom came flying out, carrying her unconscious minion by a vine. Following Danny was a purple bat.

"I think this is yours…" He said, dropping the potato monster next to his boss. "Come along, Sibella… our work here is done."

With that, the two flew away.

Revolta snarled.

That brat! He's going to pay for this! He's just as obnoxious as my idiot brother! She thought.

Revolta tried, and failed, to pry her hands out.

The Grim Creeper finally awoke.

"What… what happened?" He asked. That's when he saw the look on Revolta's face as she tried to get free. "Revolta?! What's wrong?"

"I'M FROZEN TO THE GROUND, YOU IDIOT!" She shouted. Then she looked to her home ."And that boy ruined my castle! Now how am I to deliver to the backer?!"

"How indeed…" A dark voice said behind the two.

Revolta stiffened.

Hesitantly, she turned her head over her shoulder and saw him there.

Danny flew through the air with the vampire bat following him.

Knowing he can't understand her in this form, he pointed to the ground on a path.

"Let's land there."

Sibella squeaked in agreement

They soon landed and Sibella quickly changed to her base form. Once she did she smiled widely at him.

''We did it!" She cheered.

"Yup." Danny said.

Sibella threw her arms in the air, looking ecstatic.

"That was… fang-tastic!" Sibella went. "I never thought I'd ever see that nasty witch get what was coming to her!"

The ghost boy smiled, before noticing that they were alone.

"Where's everyone else?" Danny asked.

Sibella remembered now and looked ashamed.

"I… might have ditched them to come help you…" She admitted.

Danny blinked, before he sighed.

"Come on, we better find them before-"

He failed to finish his sentence as Sibella quickly wrapped her arms around him.

"You were amazing!" She went.

Danny blushed a little.

"Uh… thanks."

Sibella still hugged him and despite how awkward he fept, Danny did not try to push her away or phase out.

The female vampire sighed happily as she was still excited over their victory and still very attracted to the boy.

He is so...so...FANG-TASTIC! The smitten ghoul thought as she couldn't control herself.

She quickly kissed him on the lips, surprising the boy.

Whoa... Danny thought as the ghoul kissed him.

When Sibella pulled away she realized what she did and looked embarrassed.

"Oh dear, I...I'm sorry...it's just...I got really excited and… you were so cool and… um..." Sibella tried to apologize.

She was cut off when the ghost boy pulled her into a kiss of his own, surprising her before she melted into it and kissed him back.

Danny didn't even register what made him do it. It was almost automatic. Now he was willingly kissing this girl who has stolen three kisses from him now. And now that he's doing it, he finds he doesn't hate it at all. He held her chin in one hand as the other was wrapped around her.

Meanwhile, Sibella felt pure bliss being kissed by him. She wrapped her arms around his neck in response.

The two remained like that for about 10 seconds, before parting with a slow and quiet pop between them.

They were both blushing deeply.

"Consider that a thanks for helping me..." He said.

"I should help you more often." She said.

Both of them noticed the other was blushing pretty brightly and thought it made the other cuter.

Wow… I'm not afraid of her anymore… now that I think about it, she's very pretty and nice… He thought.

He's not scared. He kissed me back… Sibella thought happily.

"Sibella!" Ms. Grimwood's voice called out

Just then, they heard her and the other ghouls arrive.

They turned to see they were coming down the path.

Realizing how close they were, Danny and Sibella parted, pretending nothing happened.

"Oh… you're… okay!" Sibella went, looking pleased.

Ms. Grimwood, however, was not happy.

"You left us. You should not have deserted us. Where were you?" She chastised.

Sibella flinched. She was stammering when Danny spoke up.

"She saved me." Danny said.

All of the girls and their instructor directed their attention to Danny.

"Really?" Phanty asked.

"Revolta would've finished me with Blood Blossoms had Sibella not come in and save me." He said, smiling to the vampire girl, earning a blush from her.

Ms. Grimwood studied the two for a moment. After a moment, she realizes they are telling the truth and sighed.

"Very well… but don't do that again." She said.

"I won't, Ms. Grimwood." Sibella said with a nod.

After a moment, Ms. Grimwood looked back in the direction of Revolta's castle and smiled.

"Do you know what this means?" She asked. Once nobody answered, Ms. Grimwood rose her arms and smiled. "Revolta has been defeated!"

"What's to stop her from coming back?" Elsa asked.

"Me." Danny said. "I made it clear she's going to leave you all alone from now on."

"In that case… a celebration is in order!" Ms. Grimwood said.

That made the girls happy.

"Oh boy..." Tanis said.

"Arooo! A party!" Winnie howled.

"Yeah, alright..." Elsa said as the other ghouls clammored in excitement.

Miss Grimwood smiled before turning to the ghost boy.

"Come, Daniel, be our guest of honor." Ms. Grimwood said.

Danny raised his hands up.

"Uh… not that the problem is taken care of-" He was cut off when he saw the pleading faces on the girls and sighed in defeat. "Sure…"

I just hope there is something fresh to eat… He thought.

As Danny followed the girls, he noticed Sibella looking back and smiling at him. Turning a bit red, he smiled back.

Phantasma noticed this and frowned.

What happened between those two? She thought.

The story isn't done. This is REVOLTA's final battle, but the story's not done.
