We all look up as Alice enters the living room.

"Bella doesn't hate us, Esme. She's very angry with us, she hates Edward though. Carlisle, we need to keep him away from Bella. She's so happy now; we can't let him take that away from her."

A loud growl surprises us all and we turn to see Edward standing at the top of the stairs. His eyes are pitch-black and his gaze is focused on Alice. Jasper comes running from his study and I yell at him:

"Jasper! Calm him down now!"

Before Jasper can act, Edward gives out a deafening roar and attacks Alice, yelling:

"You! Traitor!"

Alice - APOV

I smile as I run back to the house. It will take some more time, but Bella and I will be friends again in time. I saw it when she gave me that reassuring smile. I guess you can't stay mad at the person that brings you to your true love. Lucky me!

Now it's my job to keep Edward from ruining it. I decide to ask for Carlisle's help; maybe Edward will listen to him. My decision triggers a vision so I stop running. I sigh as the vision comes to an end. God, Edward is going to be a pain in all our asses.

I enter the house, already knowing what is being said, as I chime in:

"Bella doesn't hate us, Esme. She's very angry with us, she hates Edward though. Carlisle, we need to keep him away from Bella. She's so happy now; we can't let him take that away from her."

I'm already looking at the top of the stairs, even before the growls resonates throughout the house. I hear Jasper running from his study because of all the commotion, but I know that his gift won't be able to calm Edward down. I wait for Edward to attack and watch as he jumps down the stairs toward me. His look filled with anger and pain.

"You! Traitor!"

I keep my mind focused on other thoughts because I already know how this is going to end. I watch how Jasper intercepts Edward just in time. I move to stand with the rest of the family. I take a look at Carlisle's face, knowing that he wants to interfere. I shake my head at his silent question. Edward needs to learn the hard way.

The fight continues for several minutes and leaves the living room in shambles. It ends when Jasper hits Edward with a large dose of lethargy and pins him to the floor with his face down and both his hands locked behind his back. Jasper leans down to Edward's ear and growls:

"Stay down if you want to stay in one piece, Edward. You should know better than attacking my Alice."

Edward's eyes flick to Carlisle. I watch as Edward's face turns from disbelief into anger. I sigh as he yells at Carlisle:

"I can't believe that you're siding with Alice, Carlisle! I'm your son. Why can't you support me? Why can't you see that Bella is mine? I never thought you would turn your back on me."

"That's not what's happening here, Edward. I love you like you were my own son. You know that, but I truly believe that you're not seeing things clearly. All I ask is that you keep an open mind and take your time to really look at how Bella is doing. She truly seems happy, son."

My mind clouds over, as a vision manifests itself. Edward made some kind of decision, but I can't see the long-term effects of that decision yet. I look over to Jasper and say:

"You can let him go, Jazz. He won't attack anymore."

Jasper nods and releases Edward from his hold. We all watch as Edward runs from the house into the forest. Jasper moves to my side and pulls me close. I inhale his scent and sigh contently, before sending all my love for him his way. He smiles as he sends me his love in return.

Edward - EPOV

I shake my head as I run from the house. I can't believe that Carlisle is unwilling to see my side of things. My Bella mated to that monster? The thought alone is preposterous. I must talk to Bella. She needs to realize how much I love her. I should have never left her all those months ago. I see now that my absence drove her to despair. She became so desperate for love that she accepted that monster into her precious heart without a second thought.

If I can make her see that I never stopped loving her and that I never will, surely she will leave that tracker immediately. I run toward the cabin and stop just in hearing distance. I smile as I hear my Bella singing. God, she sounds like an angel. The sound is so mesmerizing, that I don't even notice the presence of Demetri, Felix, and Alec until they're standing right in front of me.

Demetri - DPOV

I smile as Bella starts singing in the shower. I slip back into my clothes while checking the whereabouts of the Cullens. I freeze as I realize that the mind-reader is getting closer. He stops at a fair distance from the cabin, but I'm quite sure that he's able to hear the thoughts of Felix, Alec, and Jane from where he's standing.

I move to the living room where Alec and Felix are still playing some annoying video game. I hush them with a flick of my hand and signal them to follow me. They get up immediately; they learned not to question my orders a long time ago. We rush out of the cabin and reach Edward before he realizes we are on the move.

"What are you doing here, mind-reader?"

"I want to talk to Bella."

"Maybe she doesn't want to talk to you. Did you ever think about that?"

"My Bella…"

I interrupt him with a loud growl. Alec and Felix look murderous as well. My tone is laced with venom as I say:

"Let me set one thing straight, Edward. Bella was never yours. She is and always will be mine. She is my true mate and I love her more than anything in this world. You think that I'm a ruthless monster and you will find out firsthand just how ruthless a monster I am if you ever try to hurt her again."

"You're delusional, tracker. A pure soul as Bella's can never be linked to yours for eternity. Chelsea did this and I'll find a way to end this scam. You can be sure of that."

I smile when Edward falls to the ground in pain, and turn around to see Jane and Bella standing behind us. Bella moves to my side and takes my hand. I kiss the top of her head and say:

"What did you hear, cara mia?"

"Everything… Why else do you think Jane used her gift on him?"

The five of us stand and watch while Edward recovers from Jane's gift, yet again. I register the exact moment he realizes Bella is standing next to me. His eyes soften as he stares at my mate. I suppress a growl and say:

"You wanted to talk to Bella; well I suggest you start talking."

"I want to talk to Bella alone."

I wrap my arm around her waist and pull her close. There's no way that she is going anywhere with him. Bella lets out a purr and kisses me passionately, before turning to Edward.

"Demetri is mine as I am his. Whatever you have to say to me, can be said in his presence. If not, there's nothing for us to talk about."

Edward takes a step forward and reaches for Bella. Felix and Alex drop down in an offensive stance, while I move slightly in front of my wife. Jane fixes her glare on Edward just in case. Edward ignores our actions. He only has eyes for Bella as he speaks:

"You're not his, Bella. You were tricked into believing that he's your mate. I can save you, Bella. I can make you happy again."

Bella – BPOV

Edward's behavior is getting on my very last nerve. Who the hell does he think he is? How dare he question my love for Demetri?

"Are you that dense, Edward?! You're not my boyfriend anymore! There's nothing you can say or do that will make me question my place on this earth. I'm Bella Volturi, wife and true mate of Demetri Volturi and proud member of the Volturi guard. I'm truly happy for the first time in my life and you're not going to ruin that for me. I don't want you near me, you are nothing to me."

I turn around and walk back to the cabin, hoping that he will finally accept the truth. I shiver in anticipation as I hear Demetri say:

"You heard the lady, mind-reader. She doesn't want you here. Leave her alone or face the consequences. This is your final warning. I know you can't read my mind, so you can't hear me coming. You'll be dead before you realize it."

I move back to our bedroom and quickly go through the filled closet. Alice has a hand in this, no doubt about that. I shake my head at the collection of impractical dresses and skirts. The lingerie on the other hand is beautiful. Demetri is going to love this. I pick out a silken teddy in a gorgeous scarlet red color and slip it on; before lying down on the bed. I close my eyes and wait for my husband.

I listen as the others return to the cabin. Felix and Alec return to their video game while Jane plops down on the couch with a book. Demetri reminds them of our meeting with Carlisle and Jasper before walking to our room. I open my eyes the moment he walks into the room. I peek at him through my lashes.

"Mine!"

His low growl goes straight to my core. I love his possessiveness so much and it turns me on every time. I watch as he stalks my way, like a predator sneaking up on his prey. His nostrils flare open as the scent of my arousal fills the room. He crawls onto the bed and pins me down with his body. He puts both of his hands next to my face and I can see the love and lust in his eyes as he says:

"You're a true temptress, my Bella. You're a goddess. I'll never get enough of you. God, I love you so much."

"I love you too, Demetri. More than anything in this world."

I moan as he kisses his way down my neck and down to my breasts. I arch my back as he sucks on one of my nipples throughout the fabric. I can feel him smirking as he moves to the other nipple.

"You're so sensitive, amore mio. I love how you respond to my touches. Tell me, who makes you feel like this?"

I moan loud as he takes both of my breasts in his hand and pinches my nipples simultaneously.

"You, Demi, I'm yours."

"That's right, tesoro. And I'm yours."

I watch how his gaze travels across my body and shiver in delight. I can't handle the anticipation any longer. I use my newborn strength to flip us over and rip the clothes off his body. I move my pussy above his rock hard member and stare into his pitch-black eyes as I slowly take him inside me. His eyes roll back and his groan travels straight to my center.

"Bella, you're divine… Ride me, tesoro…"

After a few hours, we get brutally interrupted by a heated argument in the living room. We both sigh and put our clothes back on. I guess our quiet time is over.

Demetri - DPOV

I know that I'm a vampire and that I can't have children, but I swear that sometimes it feels like I still have them. I leave a soft and warm bed and the gentle ministrations of my wife's hands behind and quickly put on clothes, before storming out into the living room. I arrive just in time to watch Felix trash one of the controllers in anger over something that Alec said.

"Felix, ma che cazzo fai? What the fuck are you doing? We're not in Volterra; this stuff in here isn't yours. Make sure you replace that controller before we go. Last time I checked, I was the head of the Volturi guard and not a kindergarten teacher! Get out of my sight. Find something else to do! I want you ready to go at 8:50 and not a second later."

Both of them bow their head and retreat to their rooms. I can see Jane smirking on the couch and shake my head.

"The same goes for you, Jane. Be ready to move out at 8:50."

I ignore the massive eye roll from Jane and walk onto the large terrace. Bella joins me and I pull her close against me. We watch the sunrise together and I smile when I hear her say:

"Nothing beats an Italian sunrise at Villa Bella, but I must admit this one is rather beautiful."

I look at my gorgeous wife and whisper:

"Nothing is as beautiful as you, amore mio."

Bella sighs contently as she leans into me. I place a kiss in her hair and inhale her gorgeous scent.

"You're a hopeless romantic, Mr. Volturi. I love you so much."

"I love you too, tesoro, more than life itself. Come on, it's time for our meeting."

I take Bella's hand in mine and together we walk back to the living room. Alex, Felix, and Jane are already there. I give them a quick nod and motion for them to follow. Let's see what kind of battle plan the Cullens came up with. We run over to the main house and wait for Carlisle to answer the door.

Carlisle - CPOV

I spent the whole night thinking about Edward and was more than relieved when I heard him entering his room via the window. Esme came into my study and gave me a sweet hug. I could see the relief on her face. She was also glad that our son was home again.

I kissed her on the forehead and held her close for a couple of minutes, before telling her that I still needed to go over the battle plan once again. Esme nodded and left me to my musings. At 8:30, Jasper entered my study, and together, we waited for the Volturi to arrive.

I'm not surprised that I hear movement outside our house at exactly 9:00. Caius trained Demetri well. He is a warrior in heart and soul, and therefore the perfect head of the guard. I understand why Aro chose to send him to help us. I walk downstairs and open the door to let them in.

"Welcome back, Demetri. I hope the cabin is to your liking."

"It is, Carlisle, we thank you for your hospitality."

"Please, come in. Let's go to my study. Jasper is already there."

We spent the next two hours discussing our battle plan and fine-tuning it. I can see in Jasper's eyes that he's impressed with Demetri's input. There is an immediate level of understanding between the two men. I catch Bella smiling at both of them and I can't help smiling too. Alice is right. Bella has never looked happier. Demetri is all she needs to be happy for eternity.

Edward - EPOV

It's even worse than I thought. They didn't just change Bella's bonds. No, they also brainwashed my Bella. Those monsters will stop at nothing to keep us apart. Well, they will not succeed. I know exactly what to do. First of all, I need to break the bond between my Bella and that monster. There's only one way to do that. I need to kill Demetri Volturi.
