"Ugh darn it." Sam says as she is playing golf with Alexis and Tucker and misses her target.
"18th hole Sam. I beat ya here I win." Tucker says before he misses his swing.
"And that's why you don't gloat about winning." Alexis says.
"Boo." A voice says causing tucker to scream as the group sees it's Danny.
"Danny knock it off." Tucker says annoyedly.
"Yeah you were supposed to be here an hour ago. By the way that still counts." Sam says as she looks at Tucker.
"Uh sorry I was late. But you'll be happy to know that the ghost king won't... be... okay. I overslept." Danny says as Alexis is looking at him giving him the really look.
"Ugh Danny. You have got to start being more considerate." Sam says.
"Yeah dude. Lately you've been treating us like sidekicks instead of friends. And when you get into a fight we're the ones who take the beating." Tucker says.
"And on occasion the blame to cover for you." Alexis says as Danny looks at Sam, Alexis, and Tucker disbelievingly.
"Oh come on. Name one time." Danny says.
"Alright then." Sam says as she, Alexis, and Tucker start telling Danny when he has treated them like sidekicks.
"Okay okay I get it. I'll try to be a little more considerate. Starting tomorrow." Danny says before his and Alexis's ghost sense goes off.
"What kinda ghost haunts a miniature golf course?" Tucker asks before Danny quickly finds a place to change forms before flying after a ghost in a bed sheet as people run screaming.
"That kind apparently." Alexis says sounding uninterested in helping to fight a ghost in a bed sheet.
"Well there is a Box Ghost. Obviously all the good haunts have been taken." Sam says as the group watches Danny accidentally destroy the gold course while fighting the ghost before he flies off.
"Trashing the golf course huh?" The manager asks as he comes over angrily.
"But we didn't do it." Tucker says.
"Really? Anybody else you wanna pin the blame on then?" The manager asks as Alexis, Sam, and Tucker look up to see Danny flying off.
"No." Alexis, Sam, and Tucker say in union.
*Timeskip*
"Guys I'm sorry. But I stuck around somebody could have figured out my secret identity." Danny says as he is talking with Alexis, Sam, and Tucker on Alexis's phone while Alexis, Sam, and Tucker are cleaning the golf course up.
"Sorry doesn't get us out of having to clean up this golf course." Tucker says.
"And sorry doesn't clean it either." Sam says angrily.
"Or change that you could of easily just changed and came back to help." Alexis says annoyedly.
"I know. I know. And I appreciate it but- uh- Can I help you?" Danny asks.
"Yes!" Alexis, Sam, and Tucker shout in union.
"No! Not you. Uh I gotta go." Danny says.
"Wait Danny! Don't hang up on- us. The nerve of that boy." Alexis says as Danny hangs up on her.
*Timeskip*
"So I hid her in the guest bedroom in the Ops Center and she was gone before I left for school. Are you guys okay?" Danny asks as he is sitting in the cafeteria with Alexis, Sam, and Tucker.
"Dude we rebuilt a miniature golf course from scratch yesterday. How do you think we are?" Tucker asks angrily.
"Yeah. We're still exhausted and you bailed on us. Again." Alexis says angrily.
"Guys I'm sorry." Danny says.
"Broken record..." Tucker says.
"No, I am. I'm sorry. But I was busy with a super-powered cousin I didn't even know I had." Danny says before Danielle the ghost girl Danny spoke of pokes her head out of the table getting food all over Alexis, Tucker, and Sam.
"And this must be her." Sam says.
"Can you excuse us for a second?" Danny says as he gestures for Danielle to follow him before she changes to human form and walks off with Danny.
"This is getting really old." Alexis says as a ghost appears destroying the cafeteria before Danny and Danielle chase after it.
"Three. Two. One." Alexis, Sam, and Tucker say in union before Mr. lancer bursts through the doors.
"To Kill a Mockingbird people. Who started this?" Mr. Lancer asks angrily as Dash points to Alexis, Sam, and Tucker.
"We'll get the mop." Alexis, Sam, and Tucker say in union.
*Timeskip*
"You know I have just about it with Danny treating us like sidekicks." Alexis says as she, Sam, and Tucker are taking out the trash from the cafeteria.
"Me too." Tucker says.
"As soon as we get rid of this trash I'm gonna find Danny and give him a piece of my- Danny!" Sam says as the group see Danny's uncle Vlad and Danielle take off with an unconscious Danny.
"Aw man. I should've know that girl was bad news when she dumped all that food on us." Tucker says.
"Uh Danny did that too." Sam says as she looks at Tucker.
"He's still our friend. We gotta help him." Alexis says.
"Manson. Foley. Hathaway. Can you tell me why you're not still in the cafeteria?" Mr. Lancer asks as he stands in the doorway.
"Why aren't we in the cafeteria? Umm because we're meeting Danny and totally ditching school." Sam says.
"And there's nothing you can do about it... old man!" Tucker says before he, Alexis, and Sam take off running.
*Timeskip*
"Shhh." Sam says as she, Alexis, and Tucker sneak into Danny's house and past his parents before reaching the basement and going into the Specter Speeder.
"Man. Lancer seemed mad." Tucker says.
"Maybe you shouldn't have called him old man." Alexis says as she looks at Tucker before she and Tucker see Sam holding the Specter Deflector and the Booo-merang.
"The Booo-merang?" Tucker asks.
"It's still keyed into Danny's ectoplasmic signature remember." Sam says as she gets into the Specter Speeder.
"Sam! Alexis! Tucker! Get out of that thing!" Jack shouts as he and Maddie stand at the top of the stairs having realized they are in the house.
"What? I can't here you over the roar of the rockets. Could you activate the roar of the rockets please?" Sam asks as she closes the door to the Specter Speeder.
"Got it." Alexis says as she begins driving the Specter Speeder as the group make it out of the house.
"Okay. Find Danny. Tucker follow that stupidly named tracking device." Sam says as she activates the Booo-merang before the group begins to follow it.
*Timeskip*
"Where are we?" Sam asks as the group flies past a mountain.
"Somewhere near the Wyoming-Colorado border. Hey look there's a jackalope. And there's a mongoose." Tucker says before Sam sees a plane headed directly for them.
"Tucker! Dive!" Alexis shouts as the group scream while barely avoiding the plane.
"Sweet. Can we take the same route back?" Tucker asks as Sam is clinging to the seat scaredly while Alexis looks at Tucker worriedly.
"Okay move over. I'm driving now." Alexis says as she quickly takes the driver's seat.
*Timeskip*
"There they are!" Sam shouts pointing to Danny inside a building with Vlad before Alexis crashes the aircraft in the building and knocks into Vlad before Tucker jumps out and puts the Specter Deflector on him.
"Man am I glad to see you." Danny says happily.
"Of course you are. We're here to help you." Sam says.
"And apparently so is your cousin." Alexis says as Danielle comes over while Vlad changes back to human form.
"I can't focus my powers." Vlad says weakly as Danielle walks over to him.
"Which means I don't need mine to do this. So dad. Stay away from my cousin." Danielle says before she punches Vlad.
"Have you lost your mind!?" Alexis asks angrily as she, Sam, and Tucker look at Danny.
"Do you have any idea how much trouble we're in right now?" Sam asks.
"And for what? Not even so much as a-" Tucker then gets cut off by Danny.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you, you guys! I'll never take you for granted again. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Danny shouts happily as he hugs Alexis, Sam, and Tucker.
"Okay dude. Easy." Tucker says.
"Need air to breath." Alexis says as Danny lets go of her, Sam, and Tucker.
"Yeah apology accepted already." Sam says.
"And I wouldn't have gotten out of this without you Danielle. Danielle? Where'd she go?" Danny asks as the group doesn't see Danielle.
*Timeskip*
"You are in so much trouble!" Mr. Lancer and Danny's parents shout as Alexis, Tucker, and Sam are sitting on a couch in Danny's house.
"Skipping school. Stealing and wrecking the Specter Speeder." Jack says angrily.
"Calling me old man." Mr. Lancer says.
"Tucker. Sam. When I call your parents you are gonna be grounded ...but there's no need to call their parents really right?" Maddie asks as everyone looks at her in shock.
"What?" Everyone asks in union while looking at Maddie.
"Now just wait a minute- No she's right. I mean, you can always build a better and more cool version of your... ship thing. Right?" mr. lancer asks.
"Hey that's true! I'm gonna start building a cooler ship thing right now." jack says as he runs off causing the others to look at each other.
*Timeskip*
"I didn't know you could overshadow people from a distance. Thanks." Sam says as she, Alexis, Tucker, and Danny are sitting in Danny's room.
"I- I can't. I- I didn't. Alexis?" Danny asks as he looks at Alexis.
"Don't look at me. I didn't do it." Alexis says before Danielle appears in ghost form outside Danny's window.
"I did. And the best part is I didn't have to waste any energy on your dad. It's Dani with an "i". And don't worry. You'll see me again." Danielle says before she flies off.
*Timeskip*
"Tucker! Alexis! Sam! Wait up. Did I say thank you?" Danny shouts as he runs outside after Alexis, Sam, and Tucker as they are leaving Danny's house.
"Only about a million times." Sam says.
"Um did I say I appreciate-" Danny then gets cut off by Alexis.
"Danny it's fine. Really." Alexis says.
"Yeah. We're your best friends dude. It's not necessary." Tucker says as he looks at Danny.
"Well seriously. Thank you for-" Danny then gets cut off by Sam, Alexis, and Tucker.
"Enough!" Alexis, Sam, and Tucker shout in union.
*Timeskip*
"Thanks for offering to help me clean my room Alexis since my parents went out with Jazz for the evening. Did I mention you're an amazing person?" Danny asks as Alexis puts away some of his clothes.
"Danny." Alexis says as she looks at Danny.
"Okay okay." Danny says as he smiles.
"I don't see why you needed my help though. Your room wasn't even that messy." Alexis says seeing it didn't take them very long to clean Danny's room.
"I was wondering when you were going to say that. I guess it's time I tell you." Danny says as Alexis looks at him curiously.
"Tell me what?" Alexis asks.
"Remember how I told you I would tell you why I acted the way I did when I found the right words?" Danny asks as he takes Alexis's hand and leads her over to his bed before they sit down.
"Yeah?" Alexis asks.
"Well I think I've found them but I think it'll be better if I just show you instead." Danny says as Alexis looks at him confused.
"Danny what are you-" Alexis then gets cut off as Danny kisses her on the lips while pushing her down onto the bed in doing so before pulling away.
"You kissed me?" Alexis asks in shock.
"Yeah. I really care about you. I think it started back when we got out for Christmas break. I don't really know how to explain it other than I was trying to push you away because I thought I wouldn't have a chance with you and I said things I didn't mean. What I said was terrible and I wish I could take it back. I realize now that I went about it the wrong way. I should of just told you how I felt instead of using Valerie to try and get rid of the feelings I have towards you. I didn't really like Valerie. I was just using her because I didn't think you would feel the same way and I was trying to avoid-" Danny then gets cut off as Alexis pulls him into another kiss before letting him go.
"Stop talking. I feel the same danny. I just acted the way I did because do was jealous and didn't want you hurt." Alexis says as Danny looks at her and smiles.
"Wait so you feel the same way?" Danny asks before he notices he is sitting on top of Alexis keeping her pinned to the bed before getting off her as she sits up while he blushes.
"Yeah. Have for a while now. Didnt you notice my behavior toward you was different since Christmas? Me being more protective, taking every chance to be with you, etc." Alexis says as she blushes.
"Wow. I am an idiot. I actually didn't notice." Danny says ashamedly.
"You're not an idiot. Clueless at times maybe but not an idiot." Alexis says as she smiles at Danny.
"So that's why Sam and Tucker called me clueless. I am sorry about that Alexis. I guess I caused pain for both of us. You're an amazing and beautiful girl that I really don't deserve. You deserve a lot better than me." Danny says as he looks down before Alexis makes him look at her.
"Don't talk that way. You're a wonderful guy Danny. If anything I'm the one who should be lucky to have you." Alexis says as Danny smiles.
"Alexis would you maybe wanna.. I don't know.. be my girlfriend? I promise I'll be honest with you from now on." Danny says as Alexis hugs him before kissing his cheek.
"I'd love to Danny." Alexis says happily as she smiles.
"Can.. can I kiss you?" Danny says nervously.
"I'd be insulted if you didn't." Alexis says as Danny kisses her before pulling away.
"Definitely gotta start doing that more often." Danny says as Alexis blushes.
"It's about time you two got together." A voice says startling Alexis and Danny before they see Tucker standing in the doorway.
"Tucker!" Danny shouts.
"We thought you'd never confess to each other and we'd have to do it for you." Sam says as she pokes her head in the room.
"Sam!" Alexis says annoyedly.
"You know we could say the same thing about you and Tucker." Danny says as Alexis smiles.
"What's that now?" Tucker asks.
"Yeah. I mean me and Danny have noticed how you guys look at-" Alexis then gets cut off by Sam.
"Well look at the time. Gotta go! See you guys at school tomorrow!" Sam says as she takes off running.
"Me too! I got chores at home. Bye!" Tucker says as he quickly leaves.
"That got their attention." Alexis says.
"Sure did. Now where was?" Danny says as he pushes Alexis down and kissed her on the lips before beginning to kiss her neck.
"Danny! That tickles!" Alexis says as she laughs causing Danny to look at her and smirk before tickling her sides as she squirms while laughing.
"Good. About time I got you laughing again. Say it. Say you forgive me." Danny says as Alexis is trying to get away from him to no avail.
"Danny! Stop!" Alexis shouts as she's laughing.
"Nope! I apologized. Time for your end of the bargain." Danny says as he continues to tickle Alexis.
"Okay okay! I forgive you! Just stop tickling me! You're a pain sometimes you know that?" Alexis asks as Danny stops tickling her letting her breath before he gets off her.
"But I'm your pain. Besides you love me." Danny says as he closes his eyes and smiles.
"I do love you. But I also am not opposed to pay back." Alexis says as she smirks deviously.
"Gotta catch me first." Danny says as he quickly takes off running.
"Get back here!" Alexis says as she smiles before chasing after Danny.
