Chapter seven

Disclaimer- I do not own twilight except I wake up one day as Stephanie Meyer and I haven't so till then, the twilight characters aren't mine. I came up with Lily, Adam and Bradon and I buffed Riley up if you've noticed.

"Angela good afternoon. I thought you resigned" one of the maids of the Sparks residence opens the door for her to enter.

"I resigned. I just have something to discuss with Mr James. Is Mr Laurent around?"

"No just his wife. Mr James is in his study though. It's nice to see you again."

"Thank you"

I'm scared" Alice says beside me and Jasper rolls his eyes. We were all gathered around Alice's laptop including Chief Billy. Lily was in the corner playing with dolls.

Angela knocks on the study door and enters the office. It was painted white with a sofa and fridge at one side then a table and chairs. James was sitting on one of those chairs, he looks up and frowns when he sees Angela.

"What are you doing here? I told you never to come here again." He gets up from his chair and walks towards her. he was fidgeting, I was right. James is a sissy, he was just as I remembered him. He had nice blonde hair and black eyes. His father made all the plans, he was just a puppet that did whatever his father told him to do, he is definitely going to slip.

"I came because I refuse to be quiet. I'm going to report you to the police."

He chuckles "You are so silly little girl if you think anyone will believe you."

"They will believe me, they have to believe me" a tear drops from her eyes. Damn she's good. James seemed to take power in her tears.

"I'm running for mayor girl, no one will believe I raped you. I can have all the girls I want in this town so why woud I force myself on you."

"I keep asking myself the same question" she says stepping backwards as he comes closer to her.

"You are very beautiful you know, you remind me of her, your hair, you smell like her."

"Who do I remind you of?" Angela asks but I already knew the answer. She reminded him of me. When he doesn't answer, she continues "Is that why you raped me? Because I remind you of this girl."

He reaches out and grabs her shoulders and she whimpers "If you try reporting me, I'll kill you, I'll kill your mother too. Don't underestimate me Angela, I can be very dangerous, you know that."

He releases her and she bends coughing then he laughs "I know why you came, you came back for more didn't you?" I was holding my breath now. Edward is there, he wouldn't let anything happen to her. I kept repeating the mantra in my head.

"I had so much fun the last time Angela, your cries and screams kept urging me on and I know you liked it."

"You bastard! You'll rot in hell" she shouts and he slaps her with the back of his hand. She falls on the sofa holding her face.

"Watch your mouth bitch, someone might hear you"

"We need to go help her"

"No not yet, he needs to say more" Jasper says holding my hand

"But he's going to hurt her" I say nearly crying

"He wont hurt her, Edward is there"

"I wouldn't call what I did rape really, I was just having fun. Besides it all your fault for reminding me of her so much." James continues

"I hate you" Angela whispers

"Oh dear, you shouldn't have come back. So here's whats going to happen, you are going to keep quiet, if you make noise I'll beat you, you know that I will. Lets have fun again shall we?"

"No no" Angela mutters

"I'm going to help her" I say wiping my tears.

"I'll call my men" Billy says picking up his phone

"I'm going to rape you again and there's nothing you or anyone can do about it" he whispers to her and I shiver. It was the same words his father had said to me that night.

Just then, Janes looks up. He could hear noise coming from outside. The study door comes of its hinges, someone had kicked it, It was Edward. Angela turns to look at him so we had a clearer view of what was happening. He comes in with the maid behind him begging him to calm down, I had never seen him that angry before. Edward was usually all sarcastic and funny, now his green eyes blazed with fury.

"He's going to kill him" Jasper whispers. Immediately he says this, Edward drags James by his collar and punches him with his right hand. I had never seen that much blood come out of someone's nose, his nose was surely broken. James tries to release himelf from Edward's grip but his efforts are futile as Edward raises his hand again and punches James' face. James stumbles dazed and he falls on the floor. He tries to get up but Edward kicks him.

"Whats happening here? What's going on?" it was James' mother, she had come running into the study. Edward turns to her still having that look in his eyes and the look makes her stop, she just stares at him terrified. She was barely 5 feet, if I was her I would be scared too.

The fight had kept our eyes glued to the screen. "Go now! Before he kills them" Jasper shouts bringing me back to the office. Billy and I run out of the office as I hear Alice shout because Edward had punched someone again. Hopefully it was James and not his mother.

I pratically jump out of the car when we get to the Sparks residence. The police had already gotten there and I saw Edward in handcuffs.

"Hey Hey let him go" I shout running towards the officers. James was sitting down in an ambulance with an ice pack on his face,his face was swollen and his nose was bent in an awkward angle, I was right, obviously broken. He had one hand around his side meaning his ribs were probably cracked or broken. His mother was sitting beside him crying. It was the first time I had seen him in person since the incident and I was so happy his face looked like that.

"You're under arrest James Sparks for raping Angela Weber and then attemting to rape her just now. You have the right to remain silent…"

"What? What are you talking about?" James' mother interrupts Billy

"Your son is being arrested for rape ma'am" he says as he handcuffs James who was too stunned to speak.

"My son would never do that. "

"We have evidence Mrs Sparks" Billy chuckles and pushes James out of the ambulance. He waves at a police officer who comes to release Edward. Immediately they remove the handcuffs, I jump on him hugging him tightly.

"Hey" Angela walks up to us

"Angie are you okay?" she hugs me, which takes me by surprise "Thank you so much. Thank you."

I smile at her and hug her back "Come on, its nothing."

She removes the camera from her dress and we walk over to Billy. She hands over the camera to him and James who was handcuffed beside Billy turns to look at me with those black eyes. Eyes I had told myself once that I had loved, I was stupid.

"It was you" he says and I step back. It was a wonder he still scared me till now, he hadn't changed in seven years.

He takes a step closer but Edward comes to stand infront of me which makes James flinch, he was obviously afraid of him. Good.

"Is this your pay back Bella?" he asks still staring at Edward. I could here the smile in his voice, he made me hate the short form of my name so much but Edward changed that.

"If you call her that again, if you even look at her, they'll take your parts to prison." He says in a low and menacing voice that I thought was a little sexy, I couldn't help but smile especially when I saw the look on James' face. He was frightened.

"Come on James" Billy says pushing James into the cop car.

I walk into Arsenal with Edward and Angela "You guys" Alice says walking to hug Angela then me. She looks at Edward "You're my hero" she says and brings out her knuckles for him to fist bump, he fist bumps her smiling. I walk over to Jasper who was standing and watching the television that was hung on the wall.

"It's already on the news?" I ask

"Yes. Tanya knows everything" he says as we stand watching the news. The headlines read 'Candidate for mayor arrested for rape. Is Forks really safe?' I smile and Jasper puts his arm around my shoulders "We did it guys. We got James arrested"

"Yes!" Alice shouts her fist in the air and I laugh

"I wouldn't have done it without you guys" Angela says

"Yeah, we get that a lot" Jasper smiles at her

"The town is better with James Sparks behind bars so thank you Angela" I reply shaking my head at Jasper

"I just wish I could pay you. I don't have any money." She says lowering her head

"It doesn't matter Angie, you don't have to pay us" I walk over to her and put my hand on her shoulder. Come to think of it, she really did look like me, the brown hair although hers was longer and her eyes were brown too. We were the same height and we sort of smiled the same way. So James raped her because she reminded him of me? Wow, he was sicker than I thought.

"I could… I could work here. I could work here as your receptionist for free."

"I don't know about that" I say "You don't have to"

"I want to. I like this place and I want to help other girls and women like me. You don't even have to pay me that is till I pay back what I owe."

"Well, if that's what you want." I say looking at the others. Alice nods while Jasper shrugs. "Welcome Angela Weber to Arsenal"

"You're officially an Arsenal now" Alice claps jumping with excitement.

"Wait…" Jasper cuts in "Do you have work experience?"

"Oh come on" Angela says laughing

"You'll get used to it" Alice replies pushing Jasper. He turns to her and they start bickering while Angela and I just laugh watching them.

I turn to Edward who was sitting on the chair watching me. I just realised he hadnt said anything since we got back. He crosses his legs but doesn't stop looking at me. I raise an eyebrow at him and smile but he just keeps looking and I realise he knew. He knew about the incident, he knew about James, he knew everything, Oh boy.
