Next week was Christmas. Mandy was going to be spending it with John at his home in Florida. Janey and Frank were very upset she wouldn't be coming there but she wanted to spend it with John. WWE was in Georgia for a house show. Mandy was backstage in catering. She felt someone tap her on the shoulder and turned around. It was Randy. This was the first time they'd seen each other since Mandy had started dating John.
"Hi." She said.
"Hi." They hugged. "How are you?"
"Good." "You?"
"Good."
"How's the family?"
"Good." "They're excited for Christmas."
"I'll bet."
"Going to your parents for Christmas?"
"I'm spending it with John."
"He tells me you don't want him to meet them."
"No I don't."
"After what happened with me, I don't blame you."
"I remember how embarrassed you were."
"Yeah it wasn't very fun."
"I know." "Randy, I never intended to start dating John." "I never thought in a million years we would be together." "It just happened." "If it hurt you, I'm really sorry."
"Are you happy Mandy?"
"Yes."
"Then that's all I care about."
"John certainly treats me better then my ex-husband."
"You were married?"
"Yes." "It was a big mistake."
"Why did you divorce?"
"He was cheating on me." "I'm the idiot." "I got his name tattooed on me." She lifted her shirt to show him.
"I know that hurt to."
"Yes it did." She put her shirt down. "I cried."
"I'll bet."
"I really want to get it removed." "I've gotta go." "Bye."
"Bye."
It was Christmas Eve. Mandy was in John's kitchen and he just taken chocolate chip cookies out of the oven.
"John." She called. He came into the kitchen. She looked at him. "Do you want some cookies?"
"Yeah."
After cookies they were sitting on the couch. He waved his hand to get her attention.
"I want to pay for your tattoo removal." He said.
"It's to much money baby."
"I don't care how much it is." "I know you hate it."
"I do."
"Let me help you." Please. He signed.
Ok. She signed.
It was Christmas morning. Mandy was still sleeping. John woke up and arranged her gift. She came down the stairs. John looked at her and smiled.
Merry Christmas. He signed.
Merry Christmas. She signed. They kissed. Now you can open your present. She got under the tree and handed him square shaped present. He opened it. It was a rare Johnny Cash album.
"Where did you find this?"
"It wasn't easy." "I got it on EBay."
"Thank you, I love it." They kissed. "Time for your present." He put car keys in her hand.
She looked at him confused. "These look like car keys." He smiled. "John, baby no." "Did you buy me a car?"
"I don't know, something might be outside." They went outside. In the driveway was a red Lincoln Navigator.
She looked at John. "John." She said smiling.
"Like it?"
"I love but it's to much."
"No it's not."
"Thank you, it's great."
"You're welcome." They kissed.
