Rhody himself has been through many crises in his life. As both a man, a solider, hero and friend. From allowing himself to be manipulate by people like Ross, to filling in the void as leader of the Avengers after Tony died and Looking out for a teen super-hero after his secrete indenty was blown.

However the military officer endured and move onward.

He reunited the avengers and made them a team again. Though his instructions he turn Peter from inexperience youth to highly train operative who could now fight side by side with the best of them and the with the ceremony he thought he had regained the public's trust in the Avengers by recruiting three new members and show the world that were protected and safe by them.

Yet for all of these exceptions. Reality seem to have it out for him. Blown all of that into apart to smithereens.

Beck who was once thought to be dead or disappeared came back along with other criminals that spider-man has dealt with and assaulted both the Avengers and spectators. Without warning, without them being detected by surveillance or anything else.

And while he won't say that said the crooks were the toughest foes he and his team faced. They were none the less were able to fight on pare with his teammates and in some cases even overwhelmed.

Like in his fight with Mac Gargan.

Originally like Toomes. Gargan was just a two-bit arms dealer who spider-man took down and jailed shortly after. However, upon becoming a survivor of the desolation and the archery that came from it. Gargan managed to fill in the hole that Toomes left and build up his own arms dealing empire across the states and beyond international borders and became so dangerous that he nearly killed both him and a squadron of Shield Agents had the kid not infect their power armor with that virus at the last minute.

Even Now Mac Gargan continued that trend,with his new upgraded suite. That is now nearly as strong as his own and pincers sharp enough to tear his armor plating to shreds if given the chance.

But worse of all...he had a tail that can launched an energized acid powerful to melt his suit and his own body in one go.

Rhodes dodge to right in the air as the scorpion charge ball of the liquid acid from his tail and blast him with it. Then upon making contact with the ground it melted it away until on only decent sized melted crater was left behind.

Mac then let out low amusing growl at the war machines attempt to evade him.

'Oh, this just great. You know I always wish that one day taking of down one of you so called mighty Avengers and I once nearly did. Only this time there is no spider-boy to save your ass!'

Rhody's eyes then narrowed from behind his metal helmet.

'I faced down armored drones, aliens and the warlord who led them' Rhody boasted as he then aim both of his gauntlets at the scorpion and from their palms the pulsars on them began to glow with energy.

'Compared to that you are just a little pest that needs to be squashed' The war machine that fired both of his repulsors. But the Scorpion dodge them with ease. Even as the armed avenger continued to fire at his enemy and then before he knew it. Rhody found himself grabbed by Gargen from behind. With both his arms and legs caught in a hold.

'Oh, I am sure in your prime that might have mattered' Mac mocked as he then raised his tail. Then charging it with acide energy.

'But at this point in time in the here and now. You are just a worn down rust bucket who is going get eaten away...' Mac then smiled viciously. 'By a pest'

Rhody then in a fit of panic then used the mental interface in his suite along with flexing his arms to unleashed an omi directional pulser blast. Forcing scorpion off from him and blasting him through on the walls in the falcity. However just as he was about to relax he felt a stinging situation from his left arm and bitterly realized that Mac had just scrap his right shoulder with one of his piecers.

Then as an final insult the James. Mac then walked out of the wall and aside from getting a little dusted. He was completely unscathed by the war machines repulse blasts. All the while sporting that same sadistic grin.

The other battles with the avengers didn't go that much better either. As Sam the Falcon fought the vuture in the sky. Yet unlike him who had a jet to support him in combat. The Later seemed to be doing this under his own power. The criminal's speed and agility in the air outmatching even Sams as not only was he repeatedly dodge the falcons dive bombs in the air but even shots from his personal twin guns.

Realizing he needed to change tactics. Sam pressed a button on one of wrists to summon redwing and immeadilty before Toomes could react it. Was suddenly slamed in by drone knocking him off course in the air.

The Vulture then grunted in pain. As he then raised his wings and launched multiple feather like quils to shoot the drons down. But red hawk not only dodge the quils but then splite up into three pices of its self and surrounded the vulture.

The drones then darted forwards at him and Adrain despite his best efforts wasn't able to stop the two of them graping hold of his body. With the twin pieces of the pieces of red wing taking hold of both of his arms and just as he struggled to get them off Sam then made a dive at The Vulture. Sending him plunting to ground near the parking lot. Enchanted by the extreme force generated from it.

Sam then thought that if the fall didn't kill Toomes it would at the very least take him out of the fight.

However much to his stupefied shock. The Vulture was suddenly able stop himself from hitting the pavement even as the force of the blow caused dust to fly upward from the ground and was in fact was just floating a few inches above it.

Then with a tired sigh Toomes then gently allowed his feet to touch the pavement. Then immediately after that he then grab both of the drones that were attached to his arms and smash both of them together into scrap and before casually tossing them both away.

Sam could only continue to stare in shock. While Toomes only out a slight chuckle. Before picking up one of the parked cars and easily lifted over his head with a disturbing amount of ease. As if it were as lightest thing in the world. Before hurling the vehicle right at Wilson with far more speed and force then he ever generated from his dive bombs.

It was only honed instinct and luck that the vechial didn't hit the Falcon and reduce his body into paste. Yet even after he dodge it. The hero's eyes wided in utter horror when he saw that The Vulture then lifted two more cars and aim at him.

And his Dread only grew further as Sam saw that the entire parking lot was filled with cars to act as the Vulture's ammo.

Later with Mysterio and the Hulk

'What's matter Hulk can't smash what you can't reach!' Beck Taunted as continue to use his drones to blast down the Hulk. But the green goliath merely shrugged them off. Because while they may be powerful enough to level through concrete and steel. The Hulk himself is a living nuclear weapon in human form. Rendering Mysterio's attacks as little more than mosquito bits then something that could actually harm him.

However, the self-entitled villain was far too smart to take the hulk own in direct combat. So he used his androids to attack from distance among with army of imps to swarm and overrun the hulk and no matter how many he destroyed and smash. Many more continued to replace them.

In other words, despite fighting several minutes straight he was no closer to defeat Mysterio then when he began.

'Give this up Beck. Your smoke, mirrors overhype tech may have given you an edge over Spider-man but not me. Sooner or later, you going to run out of props and stunt doubles to fight against me and when you do you are done!'

'Oh really?' Beck mocked while appearing before the Hulk in a puff of smoke.

'In all Honesty Banner you should know very well of how effective my illusions are as Parker should have told you. The only reason I haven't used the big stuff yet is because I didn't want take you down so early in the game.

The Hulk then chuckled in amusement . 'Take me down...are you serious?' he then readied his stance.

'If you actual had made a deal with an actual devil or better yet used actual magic like an actual sorcerer. You might have stance chance. But with holograms and guns?' Hulk then shook his head in disproval. 'That is even more delusional than you ever thinking you could replace Stark'

Beck however remain silent as he then walked slowly towards the hulk. 'Well if I am all smoke and mirrors...' His ghostly whispy head then up to the Hulk. 'Then go ahead and smash me then!'

Angered by taunt. The Hulk then procced to do just that. But just his fist landed his mark. The image of mysterio was replace with that of an african women who gasped in fright. Forcing the hulk to back out his blow at the last minute and the women in fit of panic ran away before disappearing within the green mist.

'You see hulk' Mysterio said his voice echoing throughout the mist and much to the hulks shock the entire area became empty.

'Heroes like you keep thinking that physical force is all that decides in a fight. That if you fight hard enough, keep your resolve high enough and just discard all the consequences you face in your actions that you would win against anyone or anything'

Mysterio then appeared behind Banner in his hand holding by the throat was Betty Ross. Causing the Banner to look on with dread and horror.

'But Illusions whenever it be trick of the eye or a trick of the heart. Do not need to be physical or even real to destroy the mind and spirt of a child, a woman, a man...' Mysterio then eyed at Banner cold emotionless stare..'

'Or even a monster'

Then with a flick of his wrist the illusionist then snaps the neck of Betty. Causing Banner to give in to his Hulk rage and charge Mysterio to smash his head in. Only for the image to change to that Nashtasha and once again causing Banner back away in shock and fear.

However, unlike the Nastasha he knows this one looked colorless. uncanny or even dead and when she spoked it made Hulk his dread only increased.

As Beck used her voice to speak to him.

'And that to me that is really ironic Banner. For even with you being the one the most powerful avengers and among the strongest beings in the universe. You are by far more vulurnble to illusions and their impact then anyone else I meant and Yes even the spider-brat'

Banner's green hands then began to shake unsteadily in fear. 'I know what you are doing and it won't work Quentin. For all your flare and special effects. At end of the day you are an unstable sociopath who manipulated people into getting what you want. So, give it up'

Beck however remains unimpressed. 'Give up? the only who should give up Banner is you and for that matter the rest of these Avengers'

The comment however just caused Banner to roar in anger. 'And what? have you and your league of villains replaced and terrorized the world for your sick amusement? You are nothing but a hack Beck and once I find you, I going to-

'Smash me?' Bruce then frozen himself in fear as before stood a little girl and not just any a little girl but Tony's own daughter Morgan while the entire area change to the scene and time of Tony's funeral.

'You see that is the thing makes you Avengers so arrogant, so prideful and so weak...and you by far' The girl spoke with banner in quite yet eerier voice. An utter contrast to one the real Morgan had yet to Bruce it felt no less real.

'If you had allowed your anger, your hatred out, you could have leveled this faculty and me along with it. If you didn't allow your petty emotions like guilt and sorrow plague you wouldn't be so easily manipulated and if hadn't allowed your own weakness as Banner getting the better of you. Your Hulk persona wouldn't had abandon you after getting himself beaten by Thanos'

The girl then walked towards to Bruce and much to his terror and shame couldn't help but back himself away from her. 'Had you not allowed yourself to be disillusion by your own self-pity and been stronger. You would still have Betty, Nashatia and not make this poor little girl fatherless!

The Morgan illusion scream and shoved The hulk away and Bruce regardless of his strength allowed himself to be pushed by guilt and when he did the ground below him exploded from the inside out and as it gave way the illusion disabled itself. Causing Banner to fall down to the access tunnels below. Along with the ceiling of the Avengers main base collapsing into to the pit itself.

The Image of the girl then digitized away to reveal Mysterio with a hard scowl on his face.

'And unlike you I am not bound by such weaknesses'

Meanwhile at the Stark building.

Spidey had to admit even though the bad guy was someone that wouldn't look out of place in a overblown cosplay comic book convention. He knew how to play it safe

Whenever Spider-Man tried to use the remains the buildings to web and pull himself close to the Goblin the latter would used his glider to keep out of the hero's reach and when he tried to web the fiend's aircraft. The villain used his power over heat and flame to burn the webbing away. Then to make matters worse, the Goblin was able to attack Spidey from a distance by launching missiles from his glider or throwing his pumpkin bombs at his foe. Forcing the web-head to constantly dodge the assault and as he did explosions rage across the flaming ruins of the building.

If Pete didn't made his suit extra fire proof he would have been cached on fire within the first moments of the fight.

'Oh come on Spider-Man surely you could do better then this' the goblin taunted as he began to circle around the Web-Crawler while holding up two pumpkin bombs.

''If I had known it would be this easy to pin you down like this I wouldn't had bothered to attack your dear little allies to drag you out!' he chuckled. But Spidey merely hmm. Unfazed by the insult.

'Easy to say when you are flying in the air like a manic while never having the gut facing me down like a man or Whatever the heck your gender is under that getup of yours!'

Goblin then sneered in amusement. 'Oh please spare me the hypocrisy. As if you so called heroes were innocent of bad play!'

Spider-Man then looked at the Goblin for minute before shrugging. 'Can't say I deny it. However it's still pretty bad in exposing your lack of unwillingness in fighting someone' the web-head said as crossed both of his arms

'Because they will see it as a weakness to exploit.' The spider said lowly. While his web shooters suddenly begin to adjust themselves.

The Goblin not wanting to see what his enemy would do then proceed to launch both of the pumpkin bombs at the Web-Head. Only to widen his eyes in shock on seeing that instead of dodging them the hero raised his right arm and a metal web shield instantly formed around it blocking the blast.

And as the smoke cleared spider revealed himself to be unharmed. While the web shield looked black and cracked. Much to the goblins bewilderment.

'Titanium webbing made by yours truly. Due to budget concerns I couldn't get the ever so wanted and fabulous viburnum webbing also made by yours truly. But it is still as good as any. Heavier then the original. But makes up for it in resilience, strength and most of all' the spider then knock on the crack web shield. ' well… sort of fire proof'

The goblin then winded his orange eyes nervously.

'Yeah…I tell that's your oh crap face.' Peter commented sternly before narrowing his eyes and aiming his web shooter time to its 'Time to end this'

The Goblin as the if knowing he was about to be beat. Tried to make a run for it by flying away with his glider but Peter used used his Titanium webbing to grab hold of it before using both of his arms to jerk the villain out from the sky and into the shattered pavement. Smashing his glider to pieces and causing the later to roll over on the ground.

But the fiend not letting himself to be made a fool of. Quickly got himself from the ground and readied his flaming sword as the spider steady made his way towards him.

'Oh come on Gobby aren't you going to hit me that oh so classical villain dialogue or did you realized you were so screwed in messing with the big boys that you end up dropping the act all together?'

The Goblin remain silent for a bit before laughing.

'Let's just say little spider that against you I realized…that I need to stop toying with my prey and finished the task set before me.' He declared in a low almost solemn voice. Before lunging himself at Spider-Man and swung his sword at him with a surprising amount of speed.

The eye lenses widen behind Peter's mask. Briefly taken off guard before forming two armor plates of webbing to block the flaming sword. Only for his eyes to widen in fear upon seeing that red hot blade was slowly melting through the fireproof webbing and upon seeing this opponents expression the goblin smiled in delight.

"Oh so much for your resilient and so called fire proof webbing but I suppose even it could do little against a sword that burns over 3,000 degrees and counting. Makes me wonder how well it would do. When it cuts through that fancy red suit of yours.'

The goblin threaten and then just like what he mocked his foe before hand Peter ended up showing his own oh crap face.

Seems that the Avengers and Spider-Man are starting to have some trouble with their enemies. Would they prevail?

Anyway the next fight fight will be with wasp vs the chameleon and the winter solider vs the shocker.

Through I will warn you that chameleon's power set will be much different then comic-book counterpart of all the sinister six.
