in school we have started a special program for year 6 students where every student who is not already on an internship or apprenticeship is training with people in a field they are interested in. I got the one I wanted helping Candice Dorrie and Violet in there midwifery practice. I started today by attending Kelly's checkup she is due about the 3rd of January. I am really enjoying it and hope after the 6 week class I might be able to stay on. We also had a checkup on a 1 week old baby from the village and did a few home visits. I went back to the castle to do my home work from Violet and helped mom do a quick check on the babies. I then started an independent study on why we celebrate thanksgiving Christmas and other special holidays. This is for my religious studies course and I am doing this as an extra credit project as although my grades are amazing I take any special projects I can.
When I finished studying mom asked me to walk with Elsie to the village for some spices and things we needed. When we got back I had my shift at the the library where I put away a shipment of new kids books and a few other items. I then sat with Elsie who is having trouble reading as she sees letters backwards but I am teaching her tricks that help. We both went to the extra kitchen and helped Manny's grandma start friendsgiving desserts for the feast next week. We start fall recess on Friday through the following Monday we should enjoy it as mom has arranged for me to continue my internship through break. I will stay at Sofia's and go with them on calls.
I got to Sofia's after school on Friday and went to the guest room across from Dorrie's room and unpacked my stuff. Sofia and Lucinda were both gone for the week Sofia had an assignment for her internship. And Lucinda was spending a week with some friends from her home village. We had dinner with Amber and James who joined us in the small kitchen since there parents are on royal business for a few days. We decided to go on a quick walk and to visit the castle trolls. When we got back Violet had Dorrie Candice and I grab her bags as one of the local ladies was in labor. We got to the house and Dorrie Candice and I helped deliver the baby girl it was an amazing thing to see.
We got home late that night and slept in late the next morning as we were exhausted from our late night. I worked om my religious studies project while Dorrie and Candice did there maid work. After I finished I did James a favor and proof read his history of magic paper and helped him revise it. I then met princess amber in the castle basement to help her Dorrie and Candice find perfect friends giving dinner wear and silver. We then all took a walk before violet Dorrie and I went on afternoon rounds. Candice had to stay behind as she was helping in the stable for the night.
We spent the next several days going on rounds and just studying all the books Violet lent the 3 of us. We all really enjoyed this time getting to know each other I think they may be some of my best friends. We were celebrating friends giving at there castle this year so mom and the girls picked me up from there. We all really enjoyed the feast and we are looking forward to the Christmas feast in a few weeks. On Friday mom Elsie and I went into the village and did some shopping at the general store where Kelly was having a huge sale. We also went to the candy store for a few sweets that we like to keep in the house as we all have a sweet tooth. While we were out mom stopped at the post office and we got mail from our Spanish relatives. We found out they are coming to visit the 2nd week in February.
We started Christmas baking and cooking as there will be over 100 people at this years feast and we need tons and tons of food. We are holding the event in the new community center and it should be an amazing and fun day. We also started decorating the castle and making decorations for the community center. We all worked hard Saturday through Monday as it was a blizzard outside and we couldn't get out Violet called over crystal ball with my home work for the internship. She had a package sent via the magic network that contains several tools including a stethoscope a measuring tape and other items. As she couldn't get out she had me do the quick check for Kelly while she watched via crystal ball. We think this may be the job I will be amazing at as I really really enjoy it.
On Christmas eve mom gave the staff a party in the castle ballroom and we got a huge surprise Eliot asked Auntie Beth to the valentines dance in February. We are excited for her as it will be her first real date. We ate oyster stew and chicken noodle soup before getting into our new jammies. We then settled into read the Christmas story before taking a little nap. After we got up mom had our personal maids help us into the best gowns we own before we headed to midnight mass. When we got home mom and dad Carried the babies up to bed while I carried the twins in one at a time. The next morning we went and finished setting the hall up for the feast after opening gifts. We all got so much stuff mom on Violet's recommendation picked out a medical bag for me to store my stuff in as well as a couple simple dresses and a skirt set so I can dress in a hurry. We all had so much fun at the dinner trying all kinds of food and different drinks. I am working to slowly but surly get over texture issues that are relate to my autism spectrum disorder. I was able to enjoy several new foods but there were several that I still can't handle but at least I am trying.
We spent the next day at the retirement home where dads parents and my great granddad live before heading home to relax in front of a roaring fire as it had started snowing heavily again and we were all really really cold. When I got up the next morning we were once again snowed in and Manny came rushing in Kelly was in labor a little over a week early. He said no one could travel so he had Violet lead me through what to do with his grandmas help. She and I delivered a healthy big bouncing baby girl exactly 8 hours later they named her Angelina she is so cute. We announced the news through the inter kingdom crystal ball network so there families could hear it as well. The announcement read sir Manny and Lady Kelly formally of Galdez but currently of Yensid announce the birth of a daughter Angelina Pillar Garcia. At 20 till 8 pm. She is about 7 pounds and 13 inches long mother father and baby are doing well. Yes Manny and Kelly are Sir and Lady as they were given these titles back in Galdez after they helped fight a huge fire there many years ago and saved the acting queen. We celebrated that night with tamales and other Mexican treats it was so much fun and I officially decided that I will become a midwife after I complete year 12 in school. We have discussed all of this with Violet I will be an intern for 4 more years before earning my license. I am excited as I really enjoy the work and mom said even though I am a princess I will need a commoner position to keep me from feeling like I don't have to work as a princess.
We are getting ready to start taking advanced princess lessons and will start the full lesson on proper princesses and princes in history. This is a class I'm very excited about as it will be an interesting area of study for some one like me who loves history. I am also going to be taking several science and math classes to help with my training.
Net time we celebrate valentines day and Dianna goes further into her studies to become a midwife.
