[Chapter 9] A devilish Angel

Could you shut up already?! We´ve been hearing about this imaginary girl since a week ago!

She´s not imaginary! She´s sweet and innocent and SOOO cute! And she was the only one to tend my wounds when all my "friends" left me unconscious in the middle of the street! So, don´t talk trash about her! The guy he was discussing with walked right behind him, continuing the argument they were having inside the bar. He was wearing a new pair of sunglasses since he got his last ones crushed.

We were planning on going back to you once we rescued Anna from that horse, San-chan. His childhood friend kindly tried to calm him down since he still felt salty about the whole incident. Sadly, his efforts were overshadowed by more discussions with his other friends.

C´mon, she´s not real. You probably had a concussion. They chuckled.

Agh! You´re all assholes!

I mean, they have a point, maybe you were delusional. This time, the quiet and down to Erath Kosuke stepped in to give him a more realistic point of view.

Then how do you explain my wounds were gone after I woke up!?

Maybe your head is so hard the horse couldn´t break it. Absentminded in his meal, Eric didn´t skip a beat in dissing his clanmate.

Yeah, it must be someone else´s doing since my clanmates left me behind! At least my sacrifice was noble, and I was recompensated by meeting this angel from sky.

Again, with the sacrifice shit.

It wasn´t noble. You just got crushed by the animal.

But then again, this is Bando-san we´re talking about, that is probably the coolest thing he´s ever done.

And look how he ended up. That caused everyone to simultaneously laughed.

GRRR! Totsuka-san! Say something to these nonbelievers!

At the background, keeping silence, Totsuka enjoyed the ruckus from another meaningless fight between the guys. It was always entertaining to see it. But oddly as it is, he was on Bando´s side this time. His description fitted perfectly that someone he knew about, there was no doubt about it. But it was funnier to keep the fight going so he stayed in silence all this time.

Well, you´ve always been a pitiful kind of guy. He cheerfully started crushing his spirits. But it might have been someone who helped you out that day.

Eh? Are you taking his side, Totsuka? The bartender wondered surprised by his supporting behavior.

Still, there´s no explanation to his magical recuperation.

That´s what I´ve been telling you! It´s my guardian angel!

Ok, that´s it. That´s the biggest BS I´ve heard you say all this week.

You know what? I don´t need to hear your words any longer, you non-believers, shitty so called "friends"!

And with that, the worshipper left the bar he just entered a minute ago.

*Sigh* He did it again. Sadly, this stupid subject and dramatic exit wasn´t the first time it happened that week.

Who "wants" to go behind him? I did it last time.

I´ll do it. Kamamoto offered himself, but not very willingly.

And so, very slowly he went to get him back.

*Thud*

Oh, that was fast-

To their surprise, it wasn´t the big blond and the sunglasses guy who entered with a crash into the bar, but their short vanguard who was heavily breathing and a strange girl.

Speaking of the devil. Hello, Arisawa-san. Cutting in the middle of the weird commotion, Totsuka happily greeted her.

Sup. Distant as ever, she turned her eyes at him unenthusiastically, but at least she didn't ignore him.

The young man was happy to receive a civil reply to his greeting, a proof of his charismatic effect on people. So, all this time you were a high schooler. I thought you were in collage with that maturity you show.

Yet another person seemed surprised by her outfit. Again with the age? Do I look that old to you?

Yes. He naively crashed her self-image.

Wait, she´s the "angel" Bando was talking about? Taking interest in the stunning beauty who popped out of nowhere, a young guy she´s never seen before stepped in, wondering out loud. And you know each other?

Taking advantage of the surprise of his friends, he playfully messed with them. Yes, you could say she's one of my frien-

Don't push it. She coldly stared at him. Be grateful I didn't forget your name.

Anyway, what brings you here today, Arisawa-chan? This time the bartender asked her, showing off their acquaintanceship.

Just like the other times, Eri was greeted by them with their usual cordiality. It amazed her how little they worried about their sudden entrance or the same repulsive look she always wears when she gets inside the building. Either way, they were acting polite, so at least she had to do the same.

I'd like to know that myself. She moved her view towards the boy who brought her there in a rush.

Once the culprit caught her glance, he had time to recall what happened in the alley and why they were there now. His expression showed uneasiness because confessing the reason why he ran away from the place was embarrassing. But it was a good cause and that was what mattered.

Clearing his throat first, he tried to escape from the subject. *cough, cough* well, since you're alright, you can go now-

You forcefully pulled me all the way here. You can't ditch me like that without telling me why you did it. After having been kidnapped all the way to this horrible place, she wasn´t going to let this slide, and proof of that was her lacking patience stare.

Eh? HE pulled you here?! To think the most "allergic to women" guy on Earth could do that was the biggest news they heard in a while.

They WERE holding hands when they came. Totsuka slyly remarked since it was the first thing he noticed.

Eri had no idea what they meant by that, but it wasn't important for her, in fact they were getting out of subject. I said explain why you brought me here. She frostily insisted for the last time.

Impatience was growing in her cold eyes, that was when they knew they must do as she said.

No reason. He sheepishly tried to avoid the subject. There was no way he could say what happened out loud.

His friend apparently couldn´t hold back once he saw the chance to tease the guy who was allergic to girls. A smile rose from his lips and suggestively he mocked him. Oooh? So, you wanted to bring her here by the hand all of a sudden with no reason whatsoever?

Contrary to the teasing guy, Eri looked at him serious and exasperated. For real?

NO, I didn´t! He quickly hushed her.

Oh, don´t be shy Yata-chan. Even so, I know Arisawa-chan is cute and all, but you can´t force a girl to go to a place she doesn´t want to go. Without losing the tempo, the blond behind the bar joined the teasing, enjoying the embarrassed expression the boy was making.

Didn´t I explicitly clarify that I dislike this place a million times? Once again, the schoolgirl cut in with her impatient look.

UUGGHH! All of you shut up! The way you were bending down in front of me in the alley looked like you were doing something indecent in the middle of the day, so I just brought you here without thinking!

The bar fell into a pregnant silence where everyone got lost for a minute. "Indecent", "bending over"? Those words popped in their minds trying to connect the dots of his nonsense, but the final piece "alley" was the key to have a sharp image of what had the bashful boy so nervous. Now all of them understood where he was getting at, all except for the girl.

What? I don´t get it. What did you think I was going to do when I crouched down in front of y- Ooooh… The pieces fell together when she said it out loud.

From the outside she didn´t change her low-spirited attitude, nor she made a fuss or blushed like a normal girl her age would in this situation. But that didn´t mean she wasn´t displeased. Slowly she turned her body to face the boy from far away. You wish, pervert.

While the boy in question faced her most disdainful expression ever since they met, the rest of the guys laughed at his expenses with no mercy for him. I-I´m not the sick one here! What were you trying to do in the first place!

Tending your wound, ungrateful birdbrain. She sternly stared at him with her finger pointing.

Caught by surprise, the boy looked down where she was pointing at. He had a severe scratch on his knee. With this rushing he didn´t pay attention to it at all, he was too focus on her weird demeanor to notice. Now in retrospective, that would explain why she crouched down, but it was far from logical how she was planning to do that with no equipment. Not to mention how out of character it was for her to help him when she punched him twice the other occasions they met. Well, you could have said something! Don´t scare me like that. What if someone spotted us?

Don´t worry, I was planning to be brief. After all, I wasn´t going to do what you were fantasizing about.

For the second time in a row, he left him like a big pervert in front of everybody. For the last time, I wasn´t e-expecting that!

You can´t fool us. The guys inside the bar stared at him with a coy smile.

Or me. She joined.

GGGRRRHHHHH! His teeth were going to break by clenching them at this rate. He was surrounded by idiots who didn´t miss any opportunity to cross him.

The girl rolled her eyes, watching the ridiculous place she ended up in. She should have let that idiot bled, after all it wasn´t an important injury. Leaving now would be the best option; she feared what the insistent Totsuka would do if she stays too long.

Now that you´re here, would you like to drink something, Arisawa-chan?

To her surprise, it was the bartender who stopped her. Pass. I don´t have enough money to pay. She casually declined the offer.

Well, that can be fixed.

Suddenly, her narrowed eyes opened confused about the arm she had around her shoulder. When she looked up, she found a young man she never met before. He was smiling confidently, and his overall attitude felt bold and assertive.

I believe we´ve never met before.

That´s what I was thinking. She nonchalantly replied.

I´m Chitose Yo. You must be the angel Bando-san was talking about. Ignoring the awfully close approximation between each other, the Casanova did not waste time with her. You know, at first, I thought he was exaggerating, but now that I look at you, I have to give it to him; you ARE beautiful. No wonder he mistook you for an angel.

The rest present in the room stared in disbelief about how quick his friend was to flirt with the strange girl who was also younger than him. But their concern only increased, this time not because of him, but her obscure presence.

Move your arm.

Uh?

I said move your arm. She steadily repeated one last time before easily punched him on the stomach.

*BUGHHH*

The young man fell on his knees and now she was free, dusting off her shoulder as if nothing happened. The punch wasn´t as hard as to knock him down like some of them witnessed in other opportunities, but her unconcern was what showed her brutal nature.

You deserved it. A guy wearing glasses and a fedora caught the eye of the teen, and instantly gained her respect by his evident cold-heartedness for his friend on the floor.

Taking into account how similar they behave, she concluded these idiots belong to the same group of friends. That was enough reason to get away before she ends up beating them up. But a quick glance at the injured jackass´ knee and she knew she didn´t want to go before finishing this business. It was a dumb whim of her, and she was already regretting this decision.

Misaki.

The boy jumped from fear and embarrassment after hearing his name called coldly by the wicked witch behind him. When he turned, there it was her with her arms crossed and an even unfriendlier face. Whatever she was going to say it won´t be nice.

Seat down.

Oblivious, he followed her pointing finger who headed towards a seat on the counter. He was clueless about why she asked that, but a quick look at her irritable expression was enough to finally convincing him to do it.

This time when she crouched down in front of him, he felt bashful for his previous misunderstanding and he didn´t plan to pay attention to her questionable method to treat him, but neither he was going to stop her.

Nevertheless, from the corner of his eye a pale light caught his attention and the rest of his friends´ as well.

Right before his eyes, the young guy observed how instantly and quickly his wound healed leaving no trace that it existed. He was baffled.

When it was done, Eri rose from the wooden floor, aloof as always. You´re welcome, ungrateful birdbrain. I´m out. Without looking back, she made her way to the exit, after all, she wasn´t supposed to be there.

So, you´re a strain.

The peaceful voice of the merry Totsuka stopped her.

It wasn´t surprising how quick they reached that conclusion since strains, for good or bad, were pretty known to the general public, even more than the different clans. But it didn´t amuse her that now these persistent guys knew about her powers.

*Sigh* I guess there´s no point in hiding it now.

Well. Totsuka happily corrected her. You´re as kind as that day with the dove, Arisawa-san.

So, you saw. Eri didn´t hide her dislike about this new information and her poor job hiding her powers back then, but with this explicit display it was useless to get mad about that now.

Yes, I am a strain. But there´s no need to involve the authorities in this. As you can see, I can´t harm people.

Well, not with your powers… Under his breathe, the young boy remembered those painful memories.

So, even when I´m like this, you don´t have to worry about seeing me again. I´ll be out of your lives forever once I walk out of the building.

She turned on her heel without saying goodbye or let them say anything. It would be better for everyone, including her, if she leaves now.

We´re not scared of you, if that´s what is worrying you.

Eri stopped in track and her eyes showed a glimpse of surprise. It was the always sunny guy who spoke. When she turned her body instinctively to face him, she found the same welcoming smile this guy always had on him. It was weird, she wasn´t expecting anything out of her own words, she was saying the truth, and even using this chance to cut ties with these guys who always seemed to be around her. But the fact this dumbass carefreely went out of his way to say that gave her a weird feeling.

Her eyes quickly turned back to her serious gaze, showing no emotion whatsoever. I´m not worried about that. She briefly assured.

Totsuka saw how she got a little defiant; her tone of voice and eyes constantly presented a wall that she didn´t want anyone to pass, or at least didn´t allow THEM to pass. It was amusing to see how committed she was, and that was what caught his attention. This surly individual reminded him of himself. It was hard not to see it. That dark, numb, boring era of his youth was reflected on her, almost like watching his reflecting on a mirror. At least that was that case until he met those two who later on became the oldest members of the clan.

Maybe it was fate what brought them together.

But despite her though exterior, he knew she was a good girl. She wouldn´t have gone out of her way to help his friends and that little animal if she wasn´t. And that was what he decided to focus on. So, the least he could do was to make sure she knew her being a strain wasn´t a nuisance, in fact it made her special.

Say, Arisawa-san, would you like to have a cup of coffee with us again? As thanks for helping our friends. It´s on me of course.

Eri didn´t flick at the sight of his friendly smile. I´m fine. I didn't do it to get something in return. If anything, leaving me alone would be the best show of appreciation you could do for me.

I second that. The skater nonchalantly supported the idea.

Mmm, well, if you really want to... Then let´s make this our last time meeting, shall we?

The schoolgirl couldn´t be more doubtful of him with those words. She knew he didn´t look like he meant that. Believing him would be her worst mistake ever, but she also knew from experience how insistent he was; once again she got herself into another pestering group of people that for some reason were interested in her. Thankfully, this time they weren´t attracted to her power, so at least she could feel less anxious about it.

How about sweet, iced tea?

Her mouth watered the moment she heard the word "sweet", already knowing her own body was betraying her. She gave up now that it was ridiculous to pretend she didn´t jumped just now. *Sigh* I know you´re playing me, but fine. Still looking very dissatisfied with her dumb judgment she took a seat on the bar.

The teen promised to stay for half an hour, that was her maximum time she could stand. She had in mind finishing her homework in peace at home, so she wasn´t going to waste her precious time any longer.

So, your name is Arisawa Eri. That´s a really cute name.

Thanks. I picked it myself. She nonchalantly responded in what it might sound like a joke despite being the truth.

The gang seated close to the girl in the counter, and not even her best efforts could drive them away from her. Naturally, introductions were held and she couldn´t avoid them; knowing this shady group of people was one of the things she wanted to avoid the most, but like always, she couldn´t do it. She was starting to think the universe was conspiring against her, otherwise there couldn´t be another explanation why she has to bumped into them all the time and be dragged to that peculiar bar.

So, this is the girl who knocked down Kamamoto-san and Yata-san? Shohei, the guy wearing a cap and seating next to her, looked like he was an amiable guy but smart enough to not get too friendly to commit the same mistake of the Casanova from before.

Well, I can see how you did it with Yata, but with Kamamoto? Dewa, the fedora guy who earned her respects previously, also seemed to be wise around her.

Hey! Don´t make me sound so weak! It was a surprise attack. How should I've have prepared for that!?

But how did you do it? You don't look very strong. I mean, yeah, you also put Chitose on his knees, but that was a surprise attack.

And mine wasn´t?!

I train every day. She ignored completely the small dog yelling in the background. Also, shouldn´t you be more cautious around me? At this pace I´ll beat the crap out of all of you.

Well, we´re used to receive a punch or two out there. Chitose assured her.

So, you´re delinquents, huh? To be frank, it didn´t surprise her. Lower class delinquents fit their profile perfectly and she has seen a fair share of them throughout the years.

Oh, no. We´re not just any gang. Confidently proclaimed, making her look at him.

We´re the red clan, HOMRA. Totsuka finally confessed utterly casual.

That precise moment, her heart stopped beating. The shock on her face was visible for the first time. She had to look at them twice to see if they were serious.

Her expressive reaction caught them by surprise as well. Eh? Arisawa-san, don´t tell me you didn´t notice the bar´s name?

She swiftly observed the paper napkins on the counter´s corner and read the name of the bar, confirming her worry. A part of her died a little when everything pointed at her ineptitude. She was extremely ashamed of herself for committing that rookie mistake, how could she? All this time she was frequenting another clan.

Once Eri accepted her incompetence, she continued the conversation. I thought you were some punks acting thug... and I wasn´t wrong. Her side note wasn't necessary as seen by their negative reaction. But I´ve never considered you´ll be a clan.

Yep, that's what we are. Hahahaha. The merry young man looked like he was taking this serious issue extremely lightly or at least it seemed that way to the teen who had an authentic baffle stare at him. Once he stopped laughing, he got a little more down to Earth. Maybe you didn't get the whole picture since you never saw us all together before.

Maybe he was right. She never stopped to see the signs of the places around the city since she never went inside them unless she needs it, specially places like bars or food restaurants due to being a waste of money for her.

So, Arisawa-san, what do you say?

What do I say about what?

You´re a strain, we´re a clan. How about joining us?

The proposal almost made her spill her drink, but the one who reacted the most was the skateboarder.

Are you serious!?

Uh? Of course I am, Yata. Totsuka wondered almost too innocent.

But she doesn´t even like us!

True. She casually added sipping her drink.

See!? Also, you don´t ask someone if they want to join HOMRA; you must WANT to do it yourself.

Did you forget we ASKED you if you wanted to come, Yata-chan? The blond man behind the counter smugly exposed him.

His own clanmates cornered him looking like they were having fun at it, so he went to the rest to see if he was the only sane person in the room. Is nobody gonna stop this?

Sadly, none of them seemed horrified by the idea, so they didn´t went against it.

Hell! First the golden retriever, now this chick! In his exasperation he pointed out loud the relatively new joining of the foreigner in the group, which brought misery to his daily life with his irritating insults in another language that he barely catches, but the icing on the cake for a perfect closure would be if this violent girl joins too. Together, he would never be able to breathe again without bursting in rage.

Well, thanks to that, I fully support the idea. What do you say, Arisawa-san? We could team up and torment him all the time. The foreigner casually offered with a small coy smile.

The expressionless girl took a second to think about that, and her gaze focused on their target. Tempting.

Of course, they made him burned in rage. But aside from the joke at his expense, her posture remained intact.

Well, I would gladly accept any female member anytime.

But I punched you in the stomach only 15 minutes ago.

The thought of seeing a beauty every time I set foot inside the bar is worthy.

You´ll only make her want to run away from here. His friend with a fedora remarked.

If you were nice enough to heal both Sa-chan and Yata-san, then you´re a kind girl in my book, so I´m on it. Shohei kindly confessed.

Apparently, everyone supported the plan. Everything looked promising and they had all the green lights, therefore the young man behind it asked her one more time. So, Arisawa-san, what do you say? Want to join us?

Hell no.

They should have expected that, specially the lack of tact.

Awww, you sure? He pressured the subject faking a broken heart.

Of course. Are you hearing yourself? You're asking a teenager to join a shady gang out of nowhere. You're one messed up man, Totsuka-san.

Hehe. Once again, he laughed it off making her do the same questionable face from before. But don´t get me wrong; we might be a shady gang on the outside, but that doesn´t mean that you have to share our interests. Since you are a strain and we´re a clan, you could think of this place as your escape place where you could spend time with people similar to you.

Despite his good nature offer, Eri stared at him fully distrusting.

What do you say, King? Just then, the merry guy looked behind Eri to address the one in the back.

It was strange for her hearing that nickname inside this place, so she instinctively turned her head towards the person Totsuka was talking to. She didn´t know why, but her motion was slow, as if she were expecting to find someone she should be warry about, but most importantly, she didn´t know he was behind her.

And there he was, sitting on the sofa paying no mind to the current situation while he exhalated smoke from his cigarettes. His hair was red as blood, his eyes menacing and his attitude absurdly relaxed. That man was their king. But even so, how could he emanate such a fearsome threatening aura.

The air became tense and hard to breath abruptly. It was insane he could be able to do that without even looking at her direction. Her pulse sped up, making her instantly react to his fiery eyes, and instinctively her hand slipped towards her skirt; a motion that went unnoticed by everyone except the owner of the bar.

Well, Mikoto, what do think?

Eri´s hand suddenly stopped before touching the metal piece under her skirt. Her eyes moved towards the owner of the bar who had a smiley face directed at the serious man on the couch and who didn´t look like he´d share the same expression in his life. But he certainly caught his attention thanks to the more down toned approach from the blond. The red king finally decided to meet with his bored-looking, amber eyes the person behind all his clansmen´s commotion.

The young girl twitched on her seat inevitably. The intensity his gaze had was shocking. He didn´t pronounce a single word for a few seconds after the eye contact, and he got her on the edge, but her harsh expression on him didn´t fade. If he was as ruthless as she heard on those rumors, then he´ll not take lightly how she hurt his clansmen all this time.

The waiting was nerve-wracking. Her hand didn´t move from her position, and neither her posture, ready to act accordingly. When he eventually chose to express his ideas, he had the whole bar expectant about his final word. Whatever he´d say, Eri was ready to do what she must.

He shrugged his shoulders.

Aw, come on, King. You must have SOMETHING to say! Totsuka whined about it.

The teen was fairly disappointed about THAT. It was an undeniably anti-climactic response to their whole discussion. She had many things she wanted to clarify with him, but the smartest thing to do was to accept this "pacific" reaction from him and don´t bring up any subject. Slowly, she repositioned herself into a more relaxed posture, putting her hand away from her knifes, and resting her unsteady heartbeat.

While Totsuka kept reproaching the leader´s lack of interest in their affairs, she looked from the side. This redhead was the laziest person she has seen; he could give Fushimi a run for his money. She couldn´t believe he was a king just like Munakata. They were like day and night. And what was beyond her was how THIS guy have some many followers?

It wasn´t hard to believe it was because of power. She heard of the red clan before, even while she was still part of the organization. Nothing good was talked about them. But unlike them, she´s never heard of any murder behind their name. However, the legend of the red king with demon like abilities was a real concern for most gangs of the underworld. But it certainly didn´t sound like the slothful man sitting there.

The teen truly couldn´t believe they were the real deal. She rested her head on her hand before letting out a big sigh. I have my hands full with Scepter 4, already. *Sigh* I'm destined to bump into annoying gangs. She complained aloud.

Ha? What was that about the blues? However, her small lament wasn´t so silent as she thought, and the first one to jump was the shortest one.

After that pugnacious reaction she knew she screwed up. In her mind she realized the mistake she did regretted it at once. Quietly she tried to play dumb and show no emotion. That´s not important. Anywa-

Yes, it is! Do you know them? What are you?! A blues' spy or something?

The teen paid no mind to the fuss made by the explosive kid close to her, but it did ruin her mood she was trying really hard to control. In an instant, she locked her eyes on him with a cold death gaze and surprisingly mild aura. Listen, kiddo, I don´t give a shit about clans and I don´t want to get involve with ANY of you. She declared indifferently and yet extremely intimidating.

Her quick answer and icy stare pierced him and made him jump in place. He quickly loses his temper with her, but he always forgets how murderous she looks when angry. Nonetheless, he didn´t want to ignore her constant nicknames. Oi, don´t call me kiddo! I already told you I´m older than you!

She remembered their conversation and his true statement, so she searched for another way to call him appropriately. Misaki.

The boy burst in rage. Don´t use my name as an insult!

Misaki-chan.

It was impressive how quick their young vanguard loses his cool with the straight-face teen, but now wasn´t the time to entertain himself with their quarrel.

So, the blue clan wants you? Oh! It must be because of your healing powers! They are sneaky. To persuade an innocent schoolgirl into joining them... Totsuka disapproved their attitude and found them despicable, despite doing that himself just a minute ago.

Notwithstanding his condemn, she could totally see right through him, and to a certain point he wasn´t that serious. He was about to say something stupid any minute now, she guessed.

If there´s anyone who needs a healing person is us!

'There it is.'

I mean, we don´t have a special base with a room for that kind of treatments.

You mean an infirmary? His blond friend behind the counter lightly corrected him.

The only thing we have is a first aid kit and a bunch of ignorants who don´t know how to use it.

The gang stared at the loudmouth who dissed them and along with her could see where this was going.

So-

NO. She moved towards the exit with no intention of hearing what he has to say.

Ah! His hopes were crashed insensibly. Quick! Somebody stop her! He commanded. Sadly, none of them was suicidal enough to intervene against her.

But when all the hopes were lost, the salvation entered through the door.

Look what I found whining in the streets- Eh? Arisawa-san? It was Kamamoto.

When he saw the infamous girl inside the bar, he got many questions coming into mind. But the one who stole the spotlight was the young man he was carrying by the collar of his jacket. Once his eyes spotted the gorgeous red eyes on the beautiful girl in front of him through his sunglasses, his whimpers changed into an inexplicable hope.

It´s the angel! She´s real, she´s here, she´s… when he looked at her outfit, he stopped mid-sentence, feeling a bit discouraged. How old are you?

The teen had no idea what was happening but didn´t seem to bother about the sudden question from the strange young man, she just answered. 16.

She´s a minor! Wailing on the floor he lamented his damn luck. Oh! But I´m 19, so it´s not so bad, right?

I don´t know what you´re talking about, but I want it to stop. A disgusted look appeared on her face and she didn´t bother to hide it.

Quick Bando-san, don´t let her go! Taking advantage of the situation, Totsuka betrayed his friend without a second thought.

Even Kamamoto knew that was not going to end right and stepped back a little, but the sunglasses guy, despite the lack of context, did as he was told. In no time she was grabbed from behind by the arms in place. She was a little shaken that someone would go ahead and abide what that idiot said, but extremely crossed, nonetheless.

NO! don´t do that! The skater shouted suddenly, catching the attention of his clanmate.

Since when do you care so much for girls? Don´t tell me you´re trying to impress her?

I´m not saying it for her; It´s for YOUR sake! He desperately warned him.

Eh?

A right punch flew right through him like a rocket, impacting in the middle of his face and breaking his sunglasses on the process.

Eri stared at the man down with her casual indifference, but on a closer inspection, she finally remembered where she saw this guy and why he was making a fuss over her; it was that fool she healed that horrendous day a week ago. It was her cursed luck striking again. This time with these losers. Exasperated, she exited that living hell.

My angel…The image of his tender angel got shattered along with his glasses. A hand was placed on his shoulder as in comfort. When he turned to see whose was, he found Yata. It touched him a little to see he was the only one who felt his pain, but his seemingly nice act didn´t last long when he got close enough to whisper in a serious tone.

She´s no angel, she´s a demon.

His strange "warning" came out a little late, and frankly it didn´t make him feel any better.
