A/N: I have less writers block and I'm living getting review so you guys are getting loads of chapters (plus what do you think I do in french, learn?)

Haymitch

I take off running, toward the cornucopia, towards the bloodbath. I grab a jacket with an array of daggers, a backpack and a long sheathed knife. I turn to run. I'm face to face with Hemlock. I don't hesitate. I unsheath the knife and stab it through his heart. He collapses on the ground. Dead. I don't take a moment to feel. Or even look. I take off running, my facial expression hasn't changed a bit. I just killed my brother. My brother. It was that District 7 boy. I try to tell myself. It was Briar. But I don't listen to myself. As far as I'm concerned I killed my brother right then and there.

My feet hit the ground, I'm still running, subconsciously avoiding every rock, root and fellen tree. I'm safe in the forest, the Gamemakers won't target me when there's a whole bloodbath going on. I had the first kill. I think. I started the bloodbath.

I keep on running, one hand on my knife, half unsheathed, ready to kill. Kill, like I did to the District 7 boy. Kill like I did to Hem.

I can feel every shift in the wind, every crack of the branch.

I'm absolutely terrified, if I could risk it I'd be having a full on mental breakdown but I can't risk it. I'm pushing through it which will undoubtedly ruin my psyche but I'm a little more worried about dying. I carry on until I reach a small clearing, it's got a good tree at the side of it and it's far enough away from the cornucopia to be safe. I collapse onto the ground and let out a small sob, disguised as a cough. They won't capture this part on film, they'll all be on the bloodbath. I open my backpack and survey the contents: some food, a few extra knives (I could open a butchery), a sleeping bag, some rope and a bottle of water with absolutely nothing in it. I reach a bit further in and pull out some strange goggles, they look like some that the head peacekeepers wears when he walks around the Seam in the dark to see if anyone's breaking curfew. Night vision goggles. I think. But these ones look a bit different. I put everything back into the backpack, climb onto the tree and set out the sleeping bag. Well, more a resting bag. I don't think I'll ever sleep again.

Bliss:

I hack at the last tribute at the cornucopia, a district 3 girl. I survey the bodies. About 12 dead, maybe 2 more died leaving. Good for a first day. I walk back to the inside and see a district 7 kid, dead at my feet.

"Who came to the cornucopia first?" I ask.

"District 12." Athena says. "A district 12 boy ran into the cornucopia first, then it was the 12 year old from district 7 and then it was you, Bliss."

"We have 12 careers. A District 12 kid that strong is how we lose the audiences respect."

"He's probably dead. Ate something wrong. I heard that there's no nature in 12." Royce, one of my district says. "That would be horrible, I love the nature of 1."

"There's nature in 1?" Blaze asks.

"A little bit, we go out there to train." Royce responds.

"Guys, we're not focusing." I say. "We need to take him out."

"Wait until the deaths are shown. It's been like, half an hour."

I sit back down. "Fine." My eyes slide to the dead body of the tribute that I just killed. I need to focus. Eyes on the prize. Victory.

Maylisee:

"Maylisee." William is half dead, clinging onto life with one hand. "I need you to-" he takes a deap, shuddering breath. "-save. her." Ashley hugs him gently.

"Please don't go, Will."

He smiles faintly. "You'll see me again soon." He ruffles her hair and rests back onto the tree, breathing out one last time. The cannons start firing, one for every fallen tribute. I count 17.

"Do you think we should go find Kelsi?" Ashley asks. I nod. "We'll do it in the morning." I don't tell her that I saw her die. I don't tell her that I saw that district 1 girl cut her down with the axe. I don't tell her how I saw her body at my feet.

I finger some berries on a nearby bush. I recognize them from the Meadow, Maya, Ida and I would go collect them They're highly poisonous but they provide a quick death, they're used for people who have no other options.

"Do you want some berries, Ashley? They're good for you."

"Are they safe?"

I pause. "They'll help you." I hope she gets the message, it's her choice I'm just doing what William told me to do.

"Would William want me to eat them?"

"That's what William wants."

She takes the berry from me and curls up into William's lifeless body. "Goodnight, Maylisee." she says, her voice is shaking. I've probably done the wrong thing. I don't want to think about it.

Her cannon fires. 18. I take off her jacket, it's not in perfect condition, I doubt anyone's is after the bloodbath, but it'll keep me warm. "Goodnight Ashley."
