10. Author Note

Hey guys.

So first off I wanted to apologize. I know I've been away from the keyboard for a while but as you all know this year has been hard. Everyone has gone through this year with one struggle or another including me. Around the time of my last chapter, two of my friends passed away.

Which is why I stepped away for a while. It's like my heart left my body and I needed to go and find it again. I've moved on but now I'm stuck in this loop of get up, take care of my kids, work, sleep, repeat. I'm hoping to get back into this story ASAP and I'll start getting ahead on some chapters before I start posting again.

And just to be clear... I did NOT intend for this story to go beyond 10 chapters ha. But it's probably (MAYBE) halfway through. I was thinking about doing a sequel as well but let's just get through this story first. I do have the end planned with the basic outline for the rest in the middle but sometimes later down the road you find a more interesting path that could alter a few things.

So anyways.. I hope you all are doing alright. I did not abandon you guys or this story. I just needed to step away until my heart was in it again. I still read the reviews that came in and it seriously lifts me up. Thank you guys for being so supportive and saying such funny and kind things. I will start writing again very soon.

PS I totally did not want to write an author's note because I myself don't like them, but I figured I should at least let you know I am still alive... well maybe more like a zombie... Dead? Alive? In need of brains? :)
