Chapter 9: The Beginning of An Even More Awesome Era
After the battle, Twilight along with Spike and her friends are having donuts at Donut Joe's shop
Rarity levitates a donut as she says, "Post-apocalyptic donuts. Interesting choice."
"I know. But there's gonna be plenty of time for all the challenges and struggles and adventures to come. For now, I just want to spend a quiet moment with the six best friends I've ever had," Twilight says.
"Well, mostly quiet," Applejack says, and watches Pinkie scarfing down the donuts.
"It's like the end of an era," Fluttershy says.
But Rainbow says, "Or the beginning of an even more awesome era!"
"All I know is whatever comes next is going to be perfect," Twilight says.
Spike then asks, "How do you know that?"
"With you guys by my side, how could it not?" Twilight answers.
Soon, she and her friends laugh with smiles on their faces.
Meanwhile, in Canterlot City, Sun and her friends have a small party, hosted by Pinkie to celebrate their victory and once again, the Magic of Friendship prevails. They have pizza, cookies, cupcakes, and all kinds of food, drinks, and sweets. They all talk to each other about the crazy event, even about the new magic their friends have now possess.
While the party is going on, Sun is outside in the backyard as she watches the sun setting outside.
"Mind if I join you?" A familiar voice says.
Sun turns her head to see Wire Wolf with two plastic cups full of punch. Sun smiles and nods her head in reply. Wire Wolf walks to Sun and passes her one of the cups.
"That was some crazy event, huh," Wire Wolf says.
"Yeah. Whoever thought that three villains have caused a lot of trouble, and almost caused Equestria to be destroyed," Sun says.
"Yeah, but we all are able to pull it off again in the end," Wire Wolf says.
"I agree. And It's amazing just how the Magic of Friendship is able to be spread around, despite the crisis we were in," Sun says.
Wire Wolf chuckles, "Yeah. And the fact that some of our other friends are able to possess magic of their own. Now Indigo Zap wishes she can join in all of our crazy adventures."
"Now that was pretty neat," Sun says.
Then the two laugh a little.
Sun then says, "It feels that it's the end of an era…"
"But also the beginning of a new one," Wire Wolf says.
"Right," Sun says.
Then continues, "Even though we were able to stop the three from destroying Equestria, we still need to remember that we still have more work to do in order to maintain the Magic of Friendship, and also help inspire others. And make sure that it's passed on after we're gone. I'm glad we all are able to see it, even Princess Twilight."
"Yeah. But for now, let's just enjoy what we have right now," Wire Wolf says.
"Being with friends, getting ready for graduation, and well, see what life will take us to next," Sun says.
Wire Wolf and Sun then place their drinks down, and the two pull each other to a passionate kiss as the sun sets in the evening sky.
