Disclaimer: I own Kat and Ophelia.
"Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me!"
The pirates were drinking rum and whiskey as well as being loud and silly. It was certainly a huge difference from Springtrap where the girls would eat in their tiny cabin with a guard outside the room.
"Drink up me 'earties, yo ho!"
Kat was immediately whisked away by a tipsy pirate who handed her a drink. Ophelia caught the look of surprise on her sister's face and giggled.
"Guess we're having some fun tonight," the blonde mused in excitement. "It's been a while." She scanned the deck for a potential partner. Spotting someone, she hummed in interest.
"Wait, don't leave—" Chica was cut off by Ophelia flouncing off and snagging a drink on the way. "Me."
The violet eye girl sighed to herself as she took in her surroundings. Ophelia was chatting it up with some guy. Kat was being pulled around by a man named Marionette who was somehow drinking while dancing. Freddy was watching Kat and Marionette in amusement while he and Bonnie chatted and drank rum.
"Lonely?" A voice spoke up casually.
Trying to fight the blush creeping up her cheeks, Chica turned to see Foxy standing next to her. His arms were crossed as he looked over the deck.
"A little." She admitted. Her eyes wandered from Ophelia to Kat before settling back on Foxy. "It's so much different from Captain Springtrap."
"Is that so?" Foxy looked interested, a new thing for Chica to witness.
"Very much so." Chica inhaled sharply, her violet eyes closing in thought. "We weren't allowed to be up here, or anywhere besides our room." She laughed bitterly. "We were never let alone."
"Kat looks like she's being tortured," Foxy commented as he noted the look of displeasure on the small redhead's face.
"She's never been crazy about crowds and prefers being by Lia or me," the blonde informed him in a matter-of-fact tone. "Besides, that guy isn't exactly being the gentlest." She gestured to the pirate's slightly rough twirling.
"Marionette's harmless." Foxy snorted out a laugh. "He's just having a good time."
Marionette spun Kat and caused her to spill her drink. A few pirates chortled in response.
"Been years since we had any fun." The blonde pondered her thoughts. "Five years at least."
"Well, you are having fun now," the redhead captain told her. "Care to dance?"
Fighting back a silly grin, Chica nodded before taking Foxy's hand. She used to love dancing, but it had been so long that she wasn't sure she remembered how.
"Relax lass," Foxy said, noting how stiff his partner was. "Dancing is easy."
"It's been so long," the blonde admitted. She felt so nervous being so close to Foxy, she could smell the rum in his breath. She tried to steady her breathing.
"Follow my lead." Foxy placed one of his hands around Chica's waist and grabbed her other hand. "Before you know it, you'll be dancing like a pro."
The blonde took a deep breath as she followed her partner's steps. She occasionally glanced at Ophelia, who was still talking to her pirate.
She peered over Foxy's shoulder to make sure Kat was okay, but to her dismay the poor girl looked more uncomfortable as Marionette drank more. Kat tried to pull away, but Marionette just held her waist tighter.
Following Chica's gaze, Foxy smirked and said, "Don't worry, yer friend will be fine. Bonnie and Freddy are watching." He chuckled. "Plus, her older sister is on guard."
"It's not that," Chica confessed. "Springtrap was his worst when he drank." She spun in a circle with little effort. "It was when he used his worst punishments on us." She looked Foxy in the eyes. "You know, you're not as bad as when we first got here."
"It's weird," Foxy agreed. "When I first started this life, I had it in my mind to never show anyone mercy. But then I met you girls." He glanced over his shoulder to see what Kat and Marionette were doing. "I had never met anyone who wasn't scared of me at first glance, but then I learned about you girls being trapped with Springtrap."
"He was awful." Chica whispered in fear, a shudder making its way up her spine. She shook her head in an attempt to push the memories out.
"I had my fair share of scuffles with him. Most of them were deadly and I lost some of me crew and he lost some of his." Foxy spun his partner around smoothly. "I can't imagine being stuck with someone so mean, so horrible." He exhaled sharply. "I've seen some of the scars that Kat has, and I'm sure you and Ophelia have them too."
Before Chica could react, Ophelia's angry voice knifed through the air. "What are you doing to my sister?"
Startled, Chica pulled away from Foxy to see Ophelia pushing Marionette away from a startled Kat. Freddy was trying to hold Bonnie back.
Shooting Foxy an apologetic look, Chica rushed over to her friends and grabbed Ophelia's arm in an attempt to keep her from pouncing on the drunken pirate.
"What happened?" Chica asked. She was struggling to keep her raging friend back; she knew how Ophelia could get when someone put her or Kat in danger.
"This guy just kissed Kat," Ophelia spat venomously. Her brown eyes flashed in anger.
Kat was biting her bottom lip, something she did was she was nervous; something Foxy had noticed while working with her. She wrapped her arms around her older sister in an attempt to calm her down, which surprised Foxy since Kat was the one who probably needed comfort.
"I wasn't doing nothing," Marionette slurred. He waved his mug around causing whiskey to slosh around onto the deck.
Foxy seemed to materialize next to the drunk which in turn caused the pirate to blanche. "Marionette, don't lie."
"I was having fun," The drunk pirate protested. He licked his lips as he stared at Foxy in confusion, almost like he wasn't aware of what was going on, which he genuinely might not.
"Doesn't look like she was having fun." Foxy gave Marionette a steely glare. "I saw her try to pull away."
Marionette stared at Foxy in confusion. "She did?" He slurred.
"She did." The captain confirmed with a firm nod. "Go to yer cabin and go to sleep." He looked at the girls.
"We're going to bed too," Ophelia announced. She grabbed her sister's hand and pulled the girls away from the crowd.
Foxy grumbled under his breath. He looked at Bonnie and Freddy in anger.
"What happened?" He questioned in annoyance.
"Marionette got carried away," Freddy answered, rubbing the back of his neck. "I wasn't watching too closely."
"More than that!" Bonnie shouted in anger, causing the other pirates to wince at the noise. "He kept drinking and pulling her around like a ragdoll. She tried yanking away, but he wouldn't relent." He curled his hands into fists. "He tried to touch her."
Foxy closed his eyes and hoped this didn't ruin any comfort the girls had acquired over the weeks. "Time to do damage control."
