Disclaimer: Yeah, there is one person among billions who does owns Percy Jackson. I am not him, sadly.
Jason's POV
I couldn't believe it. Not one bit. Me and the guys had been complete dicks, and yet, the girls accepted our lousy apology! But I won't complain, I'm dating Piper! PIPER! SHE WANTS TO DATE ME!
So, I had to make it up to her. When Nico suggested that we split up and come back in 2 hours, I knew exactly where to take Piper. We went to a restaurant and I told her about my life. I told her about my mom, my dad, Thalia, and even my scar. She couldn't stop laughing when I told her I'd tried to eat a stapler. And I couldn't stop blushing, but it didn't matter because it was totally worth it.
I was psyched, going to the girls' house. Although, I was a bit embarrassed, was I going to make a fool out of myself? Probably.
At The Girls' Mansion
When we pulled into the winding driveway, Ill admit, my mouth dropped a little. I should've predicted The Demigods would have a big house, I mean, they were famous. But their mansion really caught me off guard.* It was huge. "Careful there, Sparky," Piper teased. "Don't want any flies getting in there." She nodded at my open mouths. I saw the other boys also had looks of impressment or astonishment of their faces.
"You guys are loaded, huh?" Nico walked in and looked around. Frank gave him a good jab in his ribcage before I could. But Hazel just laughed. "I guess so. It's weird how you can make so much money doing what you like."
"Well, when you do a really good job and have a beautiful voice..." Frank said charmingly and Hazel blushed. I had a good feeling he wasn't talking about dream jobs in general because something like being an accountant has nothing to do with having a beautiful voice.
"What do you guys wanna do?" Annabeth asked. "There's a pool out back, our studio, and..." She looked at Percy, who was dancing with his legs crossed. "And a bathroom down the hall and left." Percy let out a relieved breath and ran to the bathroom. "Anyway, there's also an entertainment room."
Frank's eyes were as wide as dinner plates. "You guys have all that?" The girls shifted uncomfortably. "Yeah..." Hazel trailed.
"No, I didn't mean I-I was jealous or anything. I just-just was, you know, um, saying," He started rambling and looked at me and Nico but Nico was smirking and I was trying not to laugh.
"You're fine," Hazel assured him. "So, what do you guys want to do?" Hazel echoed Annabeth's question.
"Everything," a voice behind me said. I turned around to see Percy standing there, freshly out of the bathroom and looking fresh. "But starting with the pool," He said seriously. I grinned at him extreme love for water-related things.
Annabeth eyed him playfully. "And what happens if we don't do it first?"
"Then I'll... I'll," Percy seemed to have a lightbulb-moment. "I'll pick you up and dump you in there myself!" Thalia sniggered. "I'm sure Annie would love that."
Annabeth glared at her. "Fine, let's go."
"Wait, don't we need bathing suits?" I asked, seemed like common knowledge to me.
"Can't we just swim in our clothes?" Thalia groaned. "No one's wearing white and our bathing suits are so far."
Piper raised her eyebrow. "I agree with swimming in our clothes-" I looked at her and she just shrugged. "- but our bathing suits are literally upstairs." She waved her hand in the direction of a large staircase.
"Yeah, but their's aren't," Thalia shot back. "Besides, that is far," She said stubbornly.
"Whatever," Annabeth interrupted before things could escalate. "I think swimming in our clothes in fine, but if you guys really don't want to swim..."
Percy suddenly looked very attentive. "I'll swim in my clothes!" He said eagerly. Nico rolled his eye, and I resisted the urge to roll mine as well. Percy would swim in icy waters if that was the option.
"Uh, I'll try it, I guess," said Frank tentatively. Hazel beamed at him and I have a feeling that made it worth it to Frank even if he drowned.
"Ugh. Fine. I'll do it," Nico muttered.
Everyone looked at me expectingly. Then Piper spoke. "Jason, please. Don't you want to swim with your clothes on? It'll be fun!" 'Not really' said a small voice in the back of my mind. But Piper's words flowed over me like silk and I found myself nodding.
Thalia whooped loudly. "Let's go!"
We got to their pool and even that was big. It was almost Olympic sized! Percy took off his socks and shoes quickly and jumped in. He came up with his wet hair dripping into his eyes, the broadest grin across his face. "C'mon guys, get in!"
The girls went next, they seemed perfectly fine with wearing their clothes. Frank and Nico looked at each other and shrugged, then each did a cannonball into the pool. I stood there shifting my weight from one foot to the next before I thought, 'To hell with it', and jumped in.
I wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, the clothes weighed me down a bit, so I was slower, but besides that, I was having a lot of fun. I watched Percy and Annabeth race, and, for once, Percy won. Annabeth was extremely fast and probably could've beaten the rest of us, but you'd've thought Percy was in his natural habitat! He just glided in the water!
"I'm glad you got in, Sparky," Piper smiled at me in a warm way that made my brain turn into mush. "I am too," I said. I leaned closer and kissed her, which, luckily, she leaned into.
We stayed in the pool for a while and Percy looked like he was having the time of his life.
"Hey, lovebirds!" I looked and saw Thalia with a smirk on her face. "We've made the executive decision, we're going to the studio now!"
"Who's we?" I asked. Then I saw Annabeth standing beside her, a smirk on her face also. "Are you 2, like partners in crime or something?"
"I fact we are," Thalia said and gave Annabeth a fist bump. "But we just got in!" Percy, who had swum up next to us, whined. "We got here an hour ago," Annabeth said matter-of-factly.
"Not long enough," Percy pouted.
"Well, if you want us to go, we'll leave you here..." Annabeth said.
"No, I'll come," Percy said, hastily lifting himself out of the pool, not bothering with the stairs. He grabbed a towel and quickly dried himself.
"C'mon!" Percy yelled at the rest of us. I snorted. A minute ago, he couldn't bear to leave his natural home and then, Annabeth threatened to leave and he had made a very hasty exit.
I pulled myself out of the water and dried myself off. I looked at Piper, Annabeth and Thalia. They were still soaking wet.
"Aren't you gonna..." I moved my eyes to the towels then back at the 3 dripping girls. Thalia waved her hand dismissively. "We'll clean it up later."
Piper walked over to me and whispered, "Usually, Annabeth, Hazel and I end up cleaning it up."
"I heard that! And I agree!" Thalia shouted. I snorted again.
I climbed the stairs and was just as amazed. We were lead into a room that we could see the interior due to the glass window/door. The place was pretty cool, it had instruments everywhere and a little recording box. There were also chairs or stools in random places.
Percy let out a low whistle. He went over and ran his hand over a shiny blue guitar. "Nice stuff."
"Thanks," Annabeth replied.
"So, do you guys record all of your songs here?" I asked, breaking the silence. "Yep," Piper said proudly.
"You guys gonna play a song for us?" Nico asked. Frank gave him another jab in the ribs. Thalia, Piper, Hazel and Annabeth looked at each other lazily and shrugged. "Sure."
"But, we're just gonna warn you, this was about you guys," Hazel said. I felt a pang of guilt and heard Frank gulp.
I watched closely as Annabeth and Piper each grabbed a guitar, Thalia some drumsticks and Hazel took her place at a keyboard.

"I'm going under and this time I fear there's no one to save me
This all or nothing really got a way of driving me crazy
I need somebody to heal
Somebody to know
Somebody to have
Somebody to hold
It's easy to say
But it's never the same
I GUESS I KIND OF LIKED THE WAY YOU NUMBED ALL THE PAIN
Now the day bleeds
Into nightfall
And you're not here
To get me through it all
I let my guard down
And then you pulled the rug
I WAS GETTING KIND OF USED TO BEING SOMEONE YOU LOVED
I'm going under and this time I fear there's no one to turn to
This all or nothing way of loving got me living without you
Now, I need somebody to know
Somebody to heal
Somebody to have
Just to know how it feels
It's easy to say but it's never the same
I GUESS I KIND OF LIKED THE WAY YOU HELPED ME ESCAPE
NOW THE DAY BLEEDS INTO NIGHTFALL
AND YOU'RE NOT HERE
TO GET ME THROUGH IT ALL
I LET MY GUARD DOWN
AND THEN YOU PULLED THE RUG
I WAS GETTING KIND OF USED TO BEING SOMEONE YOU LOVED
And I~ tend to close my eyes when it hurts sometimes
Wanna fall into your arms~
I'll be safe in your sound 'til I come back around
For now, the day bleeds
Into nightfall
And you're not here
To get me through it all
I let my guard down
And then you pulled the rug
I WAS GETTING KIND OF USED TO BEING SOMEONE YOU LOVED
For now, the day bleeds
Into nightfall
And you're not here
To get me through it all
I LET MY GUARD DOWN
AND THEN YOU PULLED THE RUG
I WAS GETTING KIND OF USED TO BEING SOMEONE YOU LOVED
I let my guard down
And then you pulled the rug
I WAS GETTING KIND OF USED TO BEING SOMEONE YOU LOVED
I sat there looking like an idiot, my eyes wide enough to send a signal. Then Frank started slow-clapping and the rest of us joined in, it was enough to make al 4 girls blush.
Then Percy held up his blue phone and waved it in the air. "Good enough for the internet?" He asked.
"Yeah," said Thalia, pumping her fist in the air. Percy sent it to Annabeth and a thought struck me. "So, you guys already have each other's phone numbers?" I said cheekily.
Before I could really register what was happening, Percy snatched my phone out of my back pocket and unlocked it. "Seriously, Jase? Your password: 1,2,3,4,5,6?" I felt the colour rising to my face. "YES! Now give it back!" But he looked into my contacts and saw Piper as the most recent. "Ooh, looks like Superman fancies his girl too!" He said with glee. "Give it back," I muttered, but this time, Percy willingly let me take it.
My blush was now going strong from the roots of my hair to the base of my neck, I was sure of it. But Piper must have thought of it differently because she came up to me and kissed my cheek. That snapped me right out of my anger and I twirled her around and kissed her. I whispered, "That was great. It would've been a great song if it wasn't about us."
"It doesn't have to be," She whispered back.
"You guys wanna go to the entertainment room?" Hazel asked.
"Sure," Frank said and gave Hazel his best gentleman smile, which was pretty good.
"It's across the hall!" Piper interrupted loudly.
When I walked into the entertainment room, I immediately thought, This is a lazy teenager's heaven.
The room had 3 televisions, one had a PlayStation 4 hooked up to it, another had a Nintendo and the last one was just a normal TV for watching whatever. There were at least 10 controllers at the game consoles. There were also 4 PCs (probably for each of the girls, if I had to guess.), a few (dozen) 'Green Day' posters, a pool table, a few old school arcade games and some beanbag chairs and couches.
Frank let out a low whistle. "Yeah, so, knock yourselves out," Piper said, spotting Percy and Nico, who were practically drooling in the PlayStation's direction.
I watched as everyone eventually spread out. Annabeth went over to one of the PCs and brought up Minecraft. She clicked on a world and when it loaded, I saw a huge mansion which resembled the one we were in right now. Damn.
Percy had glanced over his shoulder and his jaw dropped when he saw the house on Annabeth's screen. He absently walked over and on the way handed the PlayStation controller to Frank. He struck up a conversation with Annabeth, probably praising her.
Piper pulled me over to one of the old arcade games, pinball. "Watch and learn, Sparky." She turned on the game and she crushed it! How was she so good? Her score was 1,643,515! I looked at Piper.
"You-" I kissed her '"-are amazing."
Piper blushed but looked fairly satisfied.
I heard a ping on my phone. I pulled it out and scowled. "What's up?" Piper asked.
"Oh... oh, it's nothing, nothing. Could I just... t-take a-a quick call?" I stammered. Piper had a look of obvious suspicion, but said, "Yeah... yeah, ok."
I walked out of the room and read the text properly. It was from "Honey". I only had Drew listed like that in my contacts because she forced me to.
The text said: Don't think I'll forget this, J. J. That's what Drew used to call me. Those bubbles came up, the ones when someone is writing a response. It didn't take long. All it was was a dagger emoji. I could feel the colour on my face drain.
Song: Someone You Loved. By Lewis Capaldi. One of my personal favourites. Don't know if any of you noticed, but I did just a LITTLE bit of tweaking to it to make it fit this situation.
I feel like it's been a while since I've updated, but I just haven't been in the mood lately. Anyway, this chapter is 2,499 words without this note, so it's a bit longer than others.
Thank you to all who viewed, reviewed, followed and favourited.
P.S. I have a poll on my profile. Which trio is better, between Percy, Annabeth and Grover, or Harry, Hermione and Ron. Please check that out and vote, then PM or just review and tell me why.
KEEP BEING AWESOME,
