From their dark fortress in the Dark Realm, the Dark King and his followers continued to observe the battle, seeing Davis in his warrior form swooping down around the city, striking at the Dark Digimon and protecting those caught in the battle, as well as seeing his allies fighting back.
"It seems those fools are putting up more of a fight than we expected." The Dark Davis commented, smirking as the Witch Queen, who sat next to him, lightly caressed his chest, moving closer to her corrupt lover so that she was sitting in his lap.
"Don't worry, my Dark King, you always get what you want." She said, expressing a sly smile as she looked and examined herself, hinting to her lover as to what she really meant.
Smirking in reply, the Dark King and his lover looked back at the battle, knowing that soon, all their counterparts' efforts would be in ruins.
-Meanwhile-
Fatigue starting to get the better of him, LordKnightmon leaned against the wall of a building near him, trying to regain some of his energy, before looking to see a trio of DexDorugoramon before him, ready to tear him apart.
"Will these foul beasts ever cease?" LordKnightmon questioned as he moved to a more offensive stance, before showing off his great speed, leaping toward the middle DexDorugamon and designating it as his next target.
But before he could strike, however, a flash of light appeared before him, shooting past the trio of dark Digimon as they let out a cry of pain, dissolving into Data, where LordKnightmon then saw Davis' Warrior form a few feet before him, looking upon the golden armoured warrior in slight awe, before another cry was heard nearby, causing the Knight Digimon to look at Shadowknight striking down several Troopmon that had appeared.
"You're stubborn, selfless and reckless at the same time." The alternate Takato said as he moved next to Davis, before grinning lightly as he then added. "Just like all the other good Davis I've encountered. Glad to see you have those traits."
"Even my 'hero' counterpart?" Davis asked jokingly, causing Shadowknight's grin to grow lightly as he replied. "I'll tell you about him another time, but for now, let's finish this."
Nodding in reply, the two warriors quickly spread around the city, with Davis using his power to push back the invading Digimon, while Shadowknight cut down everything that stood in his way.
Meanwhile, Mikey, OmniShoutmon and their group continued their clash with BlackShoutmon X7, who continued to laugh wickedly as he deflected their attacks, while trying to blast them with his own onslaught of dark power.
"All Zwart Fusion Projection!" BlackShoutmon X7 announced, gathering his dark powers and from it, releasing a transparent version of Omnimon Zwart, the dark energies shooting toward OmniShoutmon, who found that even with his speed, the projection seemed to pursue him, even swinging around its blade in an attempt to end his existence.
"OmniShoutmon, keep up on defence! Don't give up!" Mikey called from the sidelines, both hoping his partner and the Digimon sharing their power with Shoutmon could stop their darkened foe, while wishing he had his own strength to assist in their fight.
But too focused on OmniShoutmon, the Red General suddenly groaned, feeling something slam into his side and force him to the ground, alerting Tai, Tagiru and Haru as they turned to look and see Mikey's corrupt counterpart above him, looking down at his double with a grin as two Musyamon flanked their Master, each looking ready to strike at the humans before them.
"What's wrong? Sad Angie's not here to give you a pillow to rest on?" The Dark General asked with a darkening smile, looking down at the alternate Mikey and seeing the frustration upon his face.
"You're weak, pathetic. Caring for others instead of power. Unlike you, I don't need to worry about my soldiers because I know they are powerful enough to destroy their enemies with ease. If you stopped and just ignored your friends, you could see how powerful you could be, but from that look, I can tell my words are wasted on you." The Dark Mikey commented with a growing smirk.
"All too true." Dark Jeremy added, expressing his own dark smile as he approached the Dark General. "You should just do away with this weakling and get back to the fight."
"Shut up and stay quiet!" The Dark Mikey snapped a little as he looked back at his lieutenant, who gulped lightly and backed up, showing how fearful the dark alternatives of Mikey's allies were toward him.
At hearing his counterpart's condescending words, Mikey felt his own anger growing, standing up as he clenched his Digivice, not realizing that the screen began to glow a little.
Meanwhile, as OmniShoutmon felt a power start to build in him, causing him to turn and deliver a flaming punch at the transparent Omnimon Zwart, surprising BlackShoutmon X7 as his attack burst into Data, before he saw his counterpart begin to glow with a light aura.
'This feeling... I can feel Mikey's strength... and something else... something familiar... becoming one with me...' OmniShoutmon thought, overlooking his radiant form, feeling his strength returning and growing stronger and stronger.
Looking over at Mikey, seeing his partner getting to his feet, seeing the unyielding determination in his eyes that made him the Red General and his friend, OmniShoutmon gave a small nod, which Mikey reflected.
"Looks like you were wrong, because trusting my friends is going to help us win this." Mikey declared as he stood strong, his counterpart glaring at him, before his eyes widened to see Mikey's Digivice glowing brightly, a sight Mikey himself took notice of, before taking note of the Crest of Miracles imprinted on the device's screen.
At that moment, OmniShoutmon was consumed in a blinding light, much to the shock and confusion of BlackShoutmon X7 as he backed up slightly, before the light faded, surprising every to see Shoutmon X7 standing before them, looking ready to fight himself.
"Wait... how did he change into that Digi-Fuse when ZekeGreymon's over there, and Sparrowmon's over there?!" Tagiru asked in confusion as he pointed in two different directions, trying to figure out what had just occurred.
It was Haru who replied as his eyes widened in recognition, looking at the two brunettes and saying. "Remember when Davis fought the first Shadowlord? He was giving off a lot of energy, our Digivices must have absorbed some of that power."
"Then we'll make sure that bond doesn't go to waste." Mikey said in reply and with a continued determination.
Shaking off his initial shock, BlackShoutmon X7 growled at his mirror image as he commented. "It doesn't matter what form you take, I'll crush you!"
"Savage Demise Blade!" The Dark Digi-Fused Digimon exclaimed, gathering an intense amount of energy within his V shaped crest and casting it all out toward Shoutmon X7.
Ignoring the strained groans of the corrupt Digimon within his form, continuing to selfishly tap into their power, BlackShoutmon X7 continued to fuel his attack, sending more and more darkness through the area, tearing up the ground around him as the attack headed for Shoutmon X7.
"Final Victory Blade!" Shoutmon X7 retaliated, gathering the golden light circling his form and into his own V shaped crest, before firing, releasing a great surge of golden energy toward the darkness, the attacks clashing powerfully against one another.
Looking on as the light remained clashing against the darkness, from within, Shoutmon X7, keeping his focus on the fight, found himself as Shoutmon, finding himself within the heart of his Digi-Fused form, where the Digimon King took note of Ballistamon, Dorulumon and the other Digimon who helped make his form.
"You know you can always count on us, buddy?" Ballistamon let out, placing his hand out as a clear gesture of their friendship.
"No matter what happens, we'll remain as friends, and we'll fight until the bitter end." Dorulumon added, expressing a rare smile as he rose his right paw, placing it atop Ballistamon's hand.
"There's always strength in numbers, and when it comes to numbers, we topple it." Starmon declared enthusiastically, his call pepping up the Pickmons around him, some adding their own encouragement.
"Too true!"
"Against all of us, we can't be stopped."
"Show this phony what the real Digimon King can do!"
As the Starmon and Pickmons joined in, keeping up the positivity as they circled around Shoutmon for support, feeling a presence, and light behind him, Shoutmon turned his head, seeing Davis in his warrior form floating above him and looking down at the Digimon King.
"True kings rule not through their strength, but through the bonds they make with those around them. Your bonds with those close to you is what makes you King, their trust in you helps guide you. Show the darkness what strength true bonds can bring." The Light form of Davis told Shoutmon, his words embolden not just to the Digimon King, but the other Digimon as well, where Shoutmon then placed his hand a top of the others, causing a bright light to fill the void, empowering the form of Shoutmon X7 even more.
Letting out a great cry of determination, the power flowing through Shoutmon X7 entered his attack, overpowering and pushing through BlackShoutmon X7's, much to his shock, before the corrupt Digimon was hit by the attack full force, sending him flying back into a rock face not too far off, the sight surprising the Dark General and his allies.
"Impossible?!" Dark Mikey let out, shocked at the sight that his ace Digimon had been bested, before seeing the now damaged form of BlackShoutmon X7 pull himself out of the rock with a growl, his eyes widening to see Shoutmon X7's allies around him.
"Spirit Strike!" Sakuyamon then let out, inspired a little from Shoutmon X7's retaliation as she released her fox spirits upon the Musyamon.
Her power overwhelmed the samurai Digimon and destroyed them, leaving the Dark General and Dark Jeremy without guards as the shaman Digimon and Justimon landed around the pair, looking ready to strike at them if they tried anything.
"Not bad, Pumpkin." Justimon commented, teasing Rika a little with the old nickname.
"Don't call me that again!" Rika snapped through Sakuyamon, getting tired of Ryo's teasing nature during their conflict, before letting out a mental sigh in the process.
Dark Mikey growled a little at the turn of events, before his eyes widened to see a flash of light moving through his forces attacking the city, seeing their Davis striking down the Dark Digimon that made up his army, causing him to scream in frustration.
-Meanwhile-
The sounds of screaming caught the attention of those fighting the Dark Christopher and his army, where Magnamon's eyes widened to see Davis on the battlefield, both worried for his safety, but also glad he was here, knowing that he had turned the fight in his favor.
Along with Davis' arrival, feeling his own strength growing with the bond of his partner, his armour shining brighter than ever before, Magnamon turned to see both versions of ZekeGreymon still fighting, the cyborg Digimon showing no mercy in their assault, were the others noticed Mangamon's increase in power, offering their aid as well.
"Magna Burst!"
"Frozen Wolf Claw!"
"Corona Blaster!"
"Frozen Hunter!"
"Glorious Burst!"
The attacks seemed to combine into one as they shot towards Dark ZekeGreymon, tearing through the Dark Flare army, even destroying the pair of Deckerdramon, as they headed towards the dark Digimon General.
Sensing the blast, ZekeGreymon quickly pushed his dark counterpart back, quickly retaliating as he called out. "Plasma Railgun!"
Releasing another surge of destructive power from out his cannon arm, ZekeGreymon joined in the assault against his dark counterpart and Dark Christopher's dark army, not only devastating the invading Digimon, but causing Dark ZekeGreymon to cry out as he was hit, crashing down in great pain as his armoured body was left cracking, while Dark Christopher fell to the ground with a great cry.
"Why you damn...!" The dark General started to yell as he started to get up, only to receive a slug to the face, courtesy of Marcus, who grinned down at the semi conscious form of Dark Christopher, while his group surrounded Dark ZekeGreymon, making sure their foe was down for the count.
On the other side of the battlefield, those fighting Dark Nene's forces smiled to see Davis and Shadowknight join the battle, much to the Dark General's anger, before they refocused on their fight, ready to do their part to help.
"Davis is giving his all, we need to step up our game!" Aldamon called out as he gathered a great amount of blazing energy into his hands and called out with a great might. "Solar Wind Destroyer!"
"Strike of the Seven Stars!"
"Mega Barrage!"
"Golden Fang!"
The four attacks ran through the Midnight army, destroying many of the Dark Digimon, amazing Azumi and Runnermon at the power they witnessed, neither noticing Azumi's Digivice beginning to glow a little.
"I feel... strange... like a million volts... I want to help them." Runnermon said as he too began to glow, the sight causing Azumi to quickly get off of her partner as he began to change form.
"Runnermon, Digivolve to..." Runnermon began to say, following his instincts as his body was further consumed by light and thunder.
From the side, Azumi watched on as the thunder sparked around the growing orb that was Runner's being, watching as it grew in size, before finally blasting open and astonishing the raven haired girl to the changes in her partner.
Standing back on two feet and losing his beastly body, the new form of Pulsemon held a great power from his expression alone, with the new Digimon holding a more human form as he stood before Azumi.
Looking upon Pulsemon, Azumi took in his body, seeing that past the yellow spiked hair, white headband and continued spark in his green eyes, Pulsemon was now clad in a tight black bodysuit, showing off his more muscular frame, while a pair of yellow pants rested around his legs.
Red gloves were set around his hands and his feet were wrapped in bandages, where, after throwing a few punches and a high kick, each attack trailing with thunder, the Digimon let his name out, calling with might. "Boutmon!"
"Wow... you went Ultimate!" Azumi said, expressing both shock and joy to Boutmon's Digivolution, before watching her partner move at great speeds, tearing through the dark Digimon with powerful punches and kicks, taking down most of those in his path as he fought.
Meanwhile, Gallantmon and AxeKnightmon continued in their battle, with the Knight of Hazard getting the upper hand on his opponent, much to AxeKnightmon's anger.
"I've had enough of you, just die already! Treason Vortex!" AxeKnightmon let out, swinging around his Twin Spear and releasing an intense whirlwind as he kept the momentum, even channeling his darkness through the Twin Spear as to further his power.
"Shield of the Just!" Takato and Guilmon called as one, retaliating through Gallantmon and firing back a great blast of pure energy, the attack tearing through the darkening winds and striking into AxeKnightmon's being, sending him crashing back with a loud cry as his weapons shattered and his armour broke.
"How could mere pests like you defeat me...?" The dark knight Digimon questioned from the ground, his body broken and finding himself having trouble standing, before looking ahead to see Gallantmon drawing the tip of his lance to his face.
"We won thanks to our bonds." Gallantmon said in reply, continuing to stare down AxeKnightmon, who gave a small snarl to the knight Digimon's familiar words.
As AxeKnightmon lay defeated, JetMervamon and Dark Mervamon continued their duel, with JetMervamon growing increasingly angry and frustrated with how wicked her counterpart appeared to be, and even as she fought more underhandedly than her.
Jumping up and attacking again, Dark Mervamon showed JetMervamon's flight held no disadvantage to her.
"Snake Punch!" The dark amazoness called, slamming her snake arm into JetMervamon's chest, the impact of the punch both knocking the wind out of JetMervamon and knocking her back to the ground, inflicting a continued pain to her and to Sparrowmon from within her Digi-Core.
'We can't give up, everyone else is giving their all, and so should we!' Sparrowmon called out from within the Digi-Core, causing JetMervamon to agree, leaving her more than ready to take down her dark double for good.
"Final Strike Roll!" JetMervamon heard Dark Mervamon cut in, turning to see the dark Digimon curled up and swinging her blade around at a great speed, shooting down and toward them with a continued relentlessness.
However, much to the dark Digimon's surprise, JetMervamon's jets kicked in quickly, allowing JetMervamon to move out of the way and avoid the spinning blade, causing Dark Mervamon to move past her, where the fused Digimon saw her opportunity to strike.
"Heartbreak Shot!" JetMervamon announced, tapping into Sparrowmon's power and releasing twin blasts of electricity from her shoulder mounted blasters, which enveloped Dark Mervamon, leaving her crying out greatly as her whole body was painfully electrocuted.
"Why you...!" Dark Mervamon started to yell through her pain, before JetMervamon appeared before her, delivering a swift kick to her dark counterpart and sending her flying back, crashing into Dark Sparrowmon, who was doing their best to avoid being hit by the other attacks, causing the pair to crash into a rock face nearby.
"Get off me, you bimbo!" Dark Sparrowmon cried out furiously as they tried to move, only to find her ally knocked out as she continued to yell at Dark Mervamon as JetMervamon looked down at them.
'Guess they never learnt how bonds could improve them.' Sparrowmon commented, her words/remark causing JetMervamon to nod in reply.
Growing at seeing her servants fall, Dark Nene was busy dodging attacks from Seraphimon, Aldamon and MarineAngemon, firing blasts of dark energy at them, only for the heroes to easily dodge the assault, while finding herself feeling a burning sensation every time the tiny Digimon's attacks hit her.
Confused, Dark Nene questioned. "How could I be losing...?!"
"Kahuna Waves!" MarineAngemon let out, spitting more heart bubbles at the corrupt brunette, striking another Shademon eye upon her being, leaving her flinching, before adding. "And why is that shrimp actually able to hurt me...?"
A little puzzled by this themselves, Eri looked to Kenta, who smiled back at the pink haired idol and explained. "MarineAngemon's power can not only patch up his friends, but the more wickedness of his opponent, the greater his strength."
"So all that creepy darkness wrapping itself around Nene is a disadvantage to her? I like the sound of that!" Aldamon said as he appeared behind Dark Nene, giving her a swift kick as he then called out to MarineAngemon. "Now little guy!"
Holding his Digivice upward and accessing the data of his stored Digimon Cards, Kenta acted quickly, giving MarineAngemon some extra juice before delivering another blow.
"Digi-Modify! Radiant Fate activate!" Kenta called out as he activated the Digimon Card, causing MarineAngemon to glow brightly with a golden light, feeling his power increase.
"Kahuna Waves!" The petit sized angelic Digimon called out, spitting out a massive heart bubble at Dark Nene, who was consumed by the energy, where not only did she scream in pain, but so did the twin Shademon, both withering away as the Dark General fell to the ground, looking up in pain and anger as the heroes surrounded her, cursing them and her allies for their failure.
Meanwhile...
"Atomic Ray!" HiAndromon let out, finding his fighting spirit renewed despite the growing masses of Dark Digimon against him, where the red and blue turbines set upon his shoulders opened up, releasing their energies and tore through a line of DexDorugamon and Troopmon, leaving smoldering ashes in their place.
"Arctic Blizzard!"

With shock, anger and disbelief, the Dark Angie watched as her army, the remnants of the Bagra Army, was torn apart by her foes, increasing her growing frustration as she launched herself at Zephyrmon, her clawed fingers glowing with a dark purple tint as he hoped to at least take one of her enemies with her.
"Thorn Whipping!" Rosemon cut in as she swung her whips, wrapping around the dark redhead's being, the attack causing her to cry out in rage, struggling against her restraints, before everything around her went dark, save for a spot light overhead.
"Is everyone ready for a great time?" Entermon then questioned, directing the attention from all the Digimon toward the entertainment Appmon, leaving most confused to the position they were now in, while Astora grinned and joined in.
"You better believe we are!" The Apptuber called in reply as he raised his hands and posed, this getting Entermon worked up a little further.
"Then let me ask, are you excited?" Entermon asked, directing a spotlight upon Dark Angie, who looked just as confused as her servants as to what was happening.
Keeping up his enthusiasm, his attack turning more into a performance, Entermon let out, keeping up his own cheerfulness. "C'mon, I know you heard me, so I'll ask again. Are you excited?"
"What the hell are you talking about, you yellow rabbit freak?!" The Dark Angie cried out, now thrashing against the thorn whip restraining her, causing Entermon to sigh as he raised his hands in a shrug.
"Looks like this isn't your kind of party, but you won't go home empty handed." Entermon said back, before leaping high into the air, charging up the speakers and announcing with might. "Porte Melos!"
The sonic attack spread out as four streams of energy, striking at Dark Angie and her remaining forces as they cried out in pain, before the corrupt redhead fell back on the ground, a dazed look in her eyes as she appeared to be barely conscious, while those opposing her all circled around her.
"So Groovy!" Astora and Entermon each announced as they stood by one another and posed, their actions and clear emotion, causing the others to chuckle at their antics, while seeing how the rest of the battles were going.
With the Dark Angie down for the time being, Yuu's group seemed to be gaining the upper hand against his counterpart's forces.
"Celestial Arrow!"

These attacks, along with RookChessmon and BishopChessmon's, tore through the Dark Digimon, even knocking back Dark Tuwarmon and Dark Cho Hakkimon, filling Dark Yuu and Dark Angie with anger and disbelief as their injured partners landed at their feet, while their counterparts and their allies surrounded them.
"You have nowhere to run, so surrender." Ken let out to the dark blondes, who glared at their foes, before their eyes widened to see a dark cloud forming over Primary City.
"No... no...!" Dark Yuu then let out in fear, causing his enemies to look on with confusion at the sudden change within the Dark Yuu's behaviour.
"We... We're not done... We're not beaten just yet, he can't...!" Dark Mikey let out in his own fear as he saw the dark cloud, causing his enemies to look back at the city.
"He can't send him... he can't, please!" Dark Nene let out as she looked at the growing darkness, with the Digi-heroes now looking at the dark cloud forming over the city, wondering what was happening.
As the humans, Digimon and Appmon continued to fight against the invading Dark Digimon, both Davis and Shadowknight halted as they felt a very powerful force coming, looking up just in time to see a blast of dark lightning come crashing down on the top of one of Primary city's largest buildings.
When the smoke cleared, however, Davis, his allies and their enemies, looked to see a terrifying sight standing on top of the building as it let out a loud, deafening roar.
Looking upon the direction of the building, many were stunned, namely Tagiru, upon seeing his dark counterpart, but standing on top of a large creature, one larger than Imperialdramon: Fighter Mode, where all in the area took in the warped appearance of what should have been Arresterdramon.
Taking the appearance of a great bipedal dragon, the creature appeared to have gray, scaled skin, while its being was covered in a dark gold armour that looked very familiar to the Digi-heroes, seeing its wings made of the same material, with a large eye on his chest.
It's massive tail swayed about, while it flexed its clawed hands, ready to strike at a moment's notice.
But what shocked the heroes the most was the creature's face, seeing two massive horns coming out of its head, along with six, glowing and menacing red eyes.
Taking in the appearance, Davis' eyes widened in recognition, this wasn't Arresterdramon, it was... "Quartzmon?!"
"That's right, Quartzmon: Draconic Mode!" Dark Tagiru let out as the new version of Quartzmon let out a loud roar, one that seemed to also contained an insane laugh with it, while the dark brunette smiled wickedly down at Davis and everyone else.
"Now, let the fun begin!" Dark Tagiru then declared with an insane laugh, letting the heroes know the battle was far from over and the real ordeal was about to begin.
