Chapter 16 Together at last.
Abe, Jake, and the children all got a plan together to get Savannah and Alma together. They had seen the looks they were giving each other when they thought no one was looking.
They all worked it out and finally got them into a room together. They didn't have to wait long when they opened the door back up they saw them looking at each other.
"I love you, Alma," Savannah said to Alma. Alma looked at her and smiled.
"I love you too, Savannah, you and Serena," Alma replied. Savannah put her arms around Alma's waist, and they both leaned in a had their first kiss. The children cheered from in the doorway.
Alma and Savannah stopped kissing when they heard the cheering. They looked over and saw the children and Abe at the door smiling at them. Jake had Serena in his arms, and they all walked in and hugged the two women. Alma looked at Savannah and Serena.
"She has your peculiarity. She can see the hollows," Alma said, and Savannah smiled and kissed Serena's forehead. They climbed up the stairs and put up Serena's crib as she was sleeping. Savannah and Alma got changed and got into bed.
Savannah slept in Alma's arms that night, finally happy that they were together at last.
