From the Other Side Esther saw her family, the abominations she had created laugh and smile as if the lives they had taken had no effect on them. They remained happy ignorant to the chaos and destruction they had caused. Esther was joined by her Husband; Mikael had tried to kill Nik in the effort to lessen the destruction the Mikaelson name had caused.
But he had failed.
'It is now in your hands my love as always; you must kill our children and restore the balance.' Said Mikael.
With that Esther steeled her resolve, she will kill her children and then maybe she will find peace, finally.

Niklaus had hidden his mother's body in the caves where he had once found solace from the wrath of the wolves during full moons. The entry of the cave was guarded by his hybrids.
In the Old Witch House, the talisman of the Original Witch was hidden under the loose floorboard where it had fallen when Aurora had thrown it on the floor. The red stone of the necklace glowed, Esther channeled all the power of the witches of that house and linked herself to their living descendants. Her body was a little translucent but she had full use of her magic. Using her magic, she searched for her body and appeared near it.
She would have to use the power of the full moon to connect her spirit with her body but the full moon was still almost a month away. She will bid her time and make plans.
She will undo the evil she brought onto the world.

Aurora was standing in front of her closet with a pout on her face, deep in thought. Today was her date with Nik was about to pick her up in an hour but she still could not decide what she wanted to wear. She had thrown Sirius out of her room as he would not stop making kissy faces at her constantly. Draco had given up on his efforts to make Sirius act like an adult he was, so he went to his study to catch up with work calls.
The door of her room opened and in came Teddy.
'Roro! Play with me please, Siri is not taking me flying. You are the bestest flier of all of us.'
'Sorry, Teddy bear. I have to go out today. I will take you flying in the morning tomorrow, okay?'
'Fine.' he said reluctantly.
Aurora picked him up and hugged him close.
'Why don't you help me pick my outfit for today?'
With a serious look that looked out of place on a five-year-old, Teddy selected a cream flowy skirt and an off-shoulder chocolate blouse. With his work done the little boy rushed out of the room.
She got ready and made her way downstairs to the living room which was only occupied by Severus.
Seeing her all beautiful for her date made him feel old, older than he the right to feel like.
She looked so much like her mother that sometimes he had to shake himself before calling her Lily. And now, she was going on a date, with a man who was well known for his temper and issues. The years that had passed had brought the two of them closer to each other. She was a daughter he had never had, the only child of the girl he had loved for a long time but he now had Narcissa in his life, where his love for Lily was like the fire that will live as long as he will but being with Cissa was like being under the Sun. She had warmed him even when he did not know he was cold and she loves Aurora as fiercely as if she was her own daughter.
And now she was going on a date, never had Severus felt more like a parent. Seeing her now all dressed up looking beautiful made his mind flash back to the memory of her sorting. She looked like a waif, drowning in her robes. She had grown up.
'I will be fine.' she said quietly.
'I know.' he replied.
'Then why do you have the same look on your face that you had when I had fallen the stairs at Grimmauld Place and broken my clavicle?'
At that Severus gave a little grimace. He had been a big mother hen back then, potions did not help much with such a delicate bone, they had to let it be fixed 'the muggle way'. She was under constant pain for at least a fortnight which made Severus hover a lot. During that time, she had dated Blaise Zabini for a little while and Severus's hovering made him catch the two of them in various stages of affection. The horror on the faces of both Severus and Blaise when that happened made Aurora's day.
Severus did not say anything, he kissed her forehead and whispered, 'I hope you have a great time and if he hurts you, I will throw an Avada Kedavra at him.'
With that he gave her a smile and walked away just as there was a knock on the door.
Straightening her skirt Aurora opened the door.

Nik had bullied Kol in helping him prepare the clearing before the falls for the date. He had pried information about Aurora from Sirius, her favorite foods, color and hobbies. So, at six in the evening on Sunday, Nik found himself at her door with a single white rose for her.
Seeing her open the door after his knock made suffering from innumerable japes from Kol worth it. She looked beautiful.
'You look beautiful, love.' he said.
She gave him a small smile.
There was a blanket on the forest floor which was lit by hundreds of glittering candles which were charmed to not go out, the waterfall made the whole scene look like it was straight out of a Disney movie. They made their way to the blanket which had a basket filled with food, all of which were her favorite, she made a note to thank Sirius.
The two of them had a great time, they filled themselves on food and laid on the blanket looking at the stars, they shared their past and their experiences. Nik offered to hunt down her Aunt and her family while Aurora offered to torture Mikael in the afterlife. Looking at the stars and sharing their life stories with one another helped them both to grow closer. He told her about New Orleans, the city he and his family had built, their encounters with the Brotherhood of the Five and she told him about growing up thinking herself to be a freak and then discovering to be a savior the Wizarding World wanted to sacrifice so they could be free of the tyrant they were so scared of that they did not speak his name. He told her about a girl from his past who shared her name, she told him how she never had anyone in her life she felt comfortable enough to let all her guard down and be vulnerable, all her life she knew she had to fight, at first it was for food and then it was for own survival and of everyone she loved.
They shared their loses, how loosing Henrik had made his father and mother to make their surviving children more than human and how in that transformation they lost what made them uniquely them, about how having Henrik back brought back those memories of innocent childhood and their desirable qualities. She told him about how she had lost almost everyone she had loved, her parents, for almost a decade she had lost Sirius, her other honorary uncle Remus and his wife, Teddy was their son, who she was the Godmother of, how her friends had abandoned her when they thought she could not win.
They then talked about the future, the places they would to see, things they would like to do.
They were as different in temperament as they can be but one thing was the same, they would burn the world if it kept their loved ones safe.
They got up from the blanket, she moved to fold the blanket but he dissuaded her from it. He took her hand in his and walked towards the lake.
'This is where we played as children, Rebekah would pick flowers, Kol would make flowers either bloom or wither in Rebekah's hands depending on his mood, Elijah and Finn would practice with their swords with Henrik cheering them, and I would make paints using the berries. This right here my family had been the happiest and today I brought you here so I could add you the best memories this place had held for me. You, love have made I family whole and I will always be grateful for it.'
'You don't have to thank me every day, Henrik is a sweet boy and I did what I could so he could one day be a good man.'
'You have my thanks always.' he said kissing her hands softly.
His blue eyes met her green, one moment they were open locked at one another and the next moment they were closed as their lips met for the first time.
Two beings of extraordinary powers brought together; it is bound to get interesting.
